Abstract

Telur ayam Omega-3 merupakan telur yang dihasilkan dari ayam petelur dimana induknya diberikan pakan yang mengandung suplemen omega-3. Pasar modern antara lain mall, supermarket, department store, shopping center, waralaba, toko mini swalayan, pasar serba ada, dan toko serba ada, dimana konsumen dalam membeli telur di supermarket/hypermarket sangat memperhatikan kualitas telur berupa besar telur dan warna kuning telur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas telur ayam Omega-3 yang beredar pada pasar modern di kota Makassar. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah timbangan digital, jangka sorong, micrometer skrup, egg trey, kaca bidang datar, pisau, yolk colour, wadah penampung telur alat tulis dan handphone. Sedangkan bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 80 butir telur ayam Omega-3 masing-masing terdiri 20 butir dari 4 pasar modern yang diambil sampel penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas telur ayam Omega-3 yang beredar pada pasar modern di kota Makassar ditinjau dari bobot telur, indeks albumen, indeks yolk, warna yolk, dan ketebalan kerabang terdapat perbedaan yang nyata (P<0,05), akan tetapi dari indeks telur dan kedalaman rongga udara tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata (P>0,05), dan telur yang baik ditinjau dari indeks albumen, indeks yolk, dan indeks bentuk telur diperoleh dari pasar modern A yaitu pasar modern bagian selatan kota Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya pada siswa kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar. IPS merupakan mata pelajaran yang tidak hanya menyampaikan pengetahuan tentang kehidupan sosial, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai media pembentukan karakter dan penguatan identitas budaya sejak dini. Melalui pendekatan yang tepat, IPS mampu menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti gotong royong, toleransi, tanggung jawab, dan kecintaan terhadap budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur review yang mengkaji berbagai sumber akademik seperti jurnal, buku, dan laporan penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Fokus kajian meliputi: (1) kontribusi IPS dalam pembentukan nilai sosial dan budaya siswa, (2) strategi pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis nilai, serta (3) tantangan dan peluang dalam implementasi pembelajaran IPS yang bermuatan nilai sosial dan budaya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS memiliki potensi besar dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran sosial dan budaya siswa, terutama jika dirancang secara kontekstual dan interaktif. Pembelajaran yang dikaitkan dengan kehidupan nyata siswa mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan internalisasi nilai yang lebih mendalam. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis nilai memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk kompetensi guru, sumber belajar yang sesuai, serta kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung integrasi nilai budaya lokal dalam kurikulum. Kesimpulannya, mata pelajaran IPS dapat menjadi sarana strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya pada siswa SD kelas 4 apabila dirancang secara kontekstual dan berorientasi pada penguatan karakter dan identitas budaya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the water quality of Pari Island for seaweed cultivation. The main challenge involves the decline in seaweed production and quality, especially after the 2013 reclamation project. This research uses quantitative methods with primary and secondary data collection, water quality analysis involving parameters such as depth, temperature, salinity, pH and brightness, evaluated through the IDW method and weighting. The research results reflect an increase in temperature and salinity, resulting in a decrease in the quality of seaweed cultivation land on Pari Island. Reclamation factors and industrial activities also influence this condition. The seaweed cultivation land suitability map shows a significant decline from 2017 to 2023. The conclusion from research on changes in Pari Island's water quality regarding the sustainability of seaweed cultivation no longer supports optimal seaweed cultivation. The research recommendations highlight the need for sustainable planning and mitigating industrial impacts to support the growth of the seaweed cultivation industry on Pari Island.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar mengenai materi volume gabungan bangun ruang dengan penerapan pendekatan TaRL pada peserta didik kelas VI UPT SD Negeri 064025. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & McTaggart yang setiap siklusnya meliputi (1) Tahapan perencanaan, (2) Pelaksanaan, (3) Pengamatan, (4) Refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VI-A UPT SD Negeri 064025 yang berjumlah 25 orang siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pendekatan TaRL menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus pertama, ketuntasan belajar siswa hanya mencapai 32% dengan rata-rata nilai 75,20 . Namun setelah dilakukan refleksi dan perbaikan pembelajaran, ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 88% dengan rata-rata nilai 83,54 pada siklus kedua. Strategi pembelajaran yang dirancang sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan atau level kognitif siswa terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI UPT SD Negeri 064025.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia, as a key subject in elementary school, plays a vital role in developing students’ literacy skills, especially reading comprehension. However, slow learner students often struggle to grasp lesson content due to cognitive limitations. This study aimed to develop an educational video based on the “Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL)” approach that is valid, practical, and effective in improving reading comprehension among slow learners in Bahasa Indonesia learning. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Melayu with 10 slow learner students. The research employed the “Research and Development (R&D)” method using the Borg and Gall model, comprising six stages: “potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, design revision, and product testing”. Validation results showed an average score of 85% from media experts and 84.62% from content experts, indicating the media is highly feasible. Practicality tests revealed very positive responses from teachers (100%) and students (93.33%), classifying the media as very practical. Effectiveness tests demonstrated an increase in learning outcomes, with the average pre-test score rising from 40.25 to 73.5 in the post-test. Therefore, the TaRL-based educational video is proven to be a valid, practical, and effective tool in enhancing the reading comprehension skills of slow learner students in Bahasa Indonesia learning.

Abstract

Teachers have very important responsibilities in their role as educators in schools. Achieving quality learning goals requires continuous improvement of teacher competence as time goes by. This writing aims to discuss and understand the challenges of developing teacher competency in learning in the contemporary era. This research uses qualitative methods in the form of a literature study, with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through references from books and literature related to the challenges of developing teacher competency in learning in the contemporary era. The research results show that teacher competency is the ability possessed by teachers and includes aspects such as knowledge, skills, thought processes, personal adaptation, attitudes and values that they apply in teaching practice. There are four abilities that teachers need: educational abilities, personality abilities, social abilities, and professional abilities. In addition, teacher skills development faces various challenges, including legislative, socio-cultural, technological and political challenges.

Abstract

Background: One way to reconstruct bones is with bone grafting. Hydroxyapatite (HA) is often used as a bone graft, because it has biocompatibility, osteoconductive, bioactive, non-toxic and non-immunogenic properties. HA can be obtained from natural materials such as shells, limestone, egg shells and others. Using natural materials has several advantages such as high Ca/P ratio content, abundant quantities, and cheaper material production costs. The nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite (nHA) used in this research is Corbicula moltkiana shell powder. Purpose: to know; a) FTIR characterization of nHA Corbicula moltkiana; b) the level of toxicity of Corbicula moltkiana nHA on HDFA cells, and c) the ideal concentration of Corbicula moltkiana nHA on HDFA cell viability. Methods: in vitro laboratory experiment with post-test only control group design. To find out the characterization, use the FTIR characterization test. Toxicity test using the MTT method. The research samples were Corbicula moltkiana nHA powder and HDFA cells. The samples were divided into 4 groups, namely the control cell group and 3 groups of nHA Corbicula moltkiana with concentrations of 25 µg/ml, 50 µg/ml, and 100 µg/ml. Results: 1) Corbicula moltkiana nHA powder has good HA quality, 2) cell viability at concentrations of 25 µg/ml, 50 µg/ml, and 100 µg/ml against HDFA cells was 99.64%, 96.51% and 83.93%, respectively. Conclusions: 1) the higher the concentration of Corbicula moltkiana nHA, the lower the viability of HDFA cells, but all concentrations studied were not toxic, 2) Corbicula moltkiana nHA is biocompatible with HDFA cells.
