Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyse the behaviour of the heads of madrasahs in building trust among teachers in Riau Province, identify the main reasons behind the inability of heads of madrasahs to build trust among teachers, and to find effective leadership behaviours to enhance that trust. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to deeply explore the leadership dynamics of the heads of madrasahs in building trust among teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis at three research locations. Data analysis was conducted using a flowing data analysis technique to identify key patterns in leadership practices and their impact on teacher trust. Data validity was ensured through data triangulation from various sources and methods, as well as by confirming findings with research participants. The conclusions of the study indicate that increasing teacher involvement in decision-making processes, more effective communication, and support for professional development are key elements in building trust among teachers. At MAN 1 Pekanbaru, increasing teacher participation in decision-making and improving communication effectiveness are priorities. At MAN 1 Indragiri Hulu, a shift from an authoritative to a more inclusive leadership style is needed. Meanwhile, at MAN 1 Indragiri Hilir, there is a need for further improvements in communication and professional development support. The recommendation of this study is to adopt a participatory and communicative leadership approach to create a harmonious and trusting educational environment.

Abstract

Jembatan Biru menghubungkan Ruas Jalan Bandongan – Salamkanci. Lokasi Jembatan Biru berada pada tikungan tajam sehingga membahayakan pengguna jalan. Apabila terdapat kendaraan bermuatan melewati jembatan harus menghentikan laju jika berpapasan dengan kendaraan lain. Oleh karena itu penggantian Jembatan Biru diperlukan karena umur rencana dan pertimbangan keamanan lalu lintas. Maka studi pemilihan struktur diperlukan untuk memilih tipe struktur jembatan yang tepat sebagai desain alternatif pengganti Jembatan Biru. Penyelidikan kondisi geografi berdasarkan data topografi, data tanah dan data curah hujan sebagai parameter pemilihan struktur jembatan. Pemilihan tipe struktur atas berdasarkan pada (Panduan Praktis Perencanaan Teknis Jembatan , 2021) dengan hasil jembatan beton prategang. Preliminary design untuk menentukan dimensi dan mutu material jembatan. Perencanaan pembebanan jembatan berdasarkan SNI 1725:2016, SNI 2833:2016, dan Peta dan Bahaya Gempa Indonesia Tahun 2017. Perhitungan gaya prategang untuk mengetahui jumlah tendon dan lintasan tendon. Pemeriksaan tegangan dipertimbangkan saat masa konstruksi sampai umur rencana. Tinggi gelagar terpakai yaitu 2100 milimeter untuk bentang jembatan 40 meter. Penghubung antar segmen yaitu shear key dengan perletakan pot bearing dan sambungan siar muai dengan tipe compression seal. Struktur bawah jembatan yaitu abutment dengan tipe dinding yang ditopang oleh fondasi sumuran.

Abstract

Provinsi Lampung memiliki segudang daya tarik wisata alam, wisata budaya, dan wisata buatan. Namun saat ini Lampung belum menjadi primadona bagi wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profiil wisatawan yang berwisata di Lampung, mengetahui objek wisata favorit wisatawan di Lampung dan menyusun pola perjalanan wisata (Travel Pattern) di Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualtitatif deskriptif. Data primer dan sekunder diperoleh dari hasil kuisioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode triangulasi data. Data diorganisasikan kedalam kategori, dijabarkan ke dalam unit-unit, dilakukan sintesa, disusun kedalam pola, dipilih mana yang penting dan yang akan dipelajari, dan ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkkan bahwa profil wisatawan yang berwisata di Lampung didominais oleh usia 16-25 tahun; Bentuk wisata berupa rombongan keluarga atau teman sekantor/sekolah;  pintu masuk (entry point) lewat Tol Lampung dan Bakauheni; Menggunakan moda transportasi mobil pribadi; memilih akomodasi di rumah suadara atau teman; memilih lama perjalanan more than half day (6-7 jam), Lama kunjungan 1-3 hari; dan jarak tempuh dalam atau luar kota (satu provinsi). Objek wisata preferensi wisatawan di Lampung adalah jenis wisatawa pantai dan air terjun. Terdapat 6 Pola perjalanan dengan kategori one day tour yang dapat disusun.

Abstract

Pine pallets are often used to design the interior of houses, as opposed to pine waste, which is underutilized due to its reduced strength and limited size. Therefore, this research aims to optimize the use of pine pallet waste by making laminated beams using screw joints and determining the effect of screw spacing on the strong bending of laminated beams. Flexural strength tests of laminated wood beams measuring 5 cm x 5 cm x 76 cm with varying screw spacing of 4 cm, 8 cm, 12 cm, and 16 were used to conduct this research. This is in addition to screw length, head, and body diameters of 5 cm, 8 mm, and 4 mm, respectively. Strong bending testing was carried out at the Structural Laboratory of the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tidar University, Magelang. The test results of consecutive Modulus of Rupture (MOR) had average values of 20.996 MPa, 23.067 MPa, 20.207 MPa, 19.292 MPa. and Modulus of Elasticity (MOE) of 1,352.68 MPa, 1,449.35 MPa, 1,146.76 MPa, and 1,128.90 MPa. The result showed that the use of varying screw spacing has no significant effect on the flexural strength of laminated beams. Furthermore, the laminated pine pallet waste with screws can be used as an alternative to pure wood by paying attention to the proper joint spacing.

Abstract

In recent years, technological advancements have significantly transformed various aspects of education, including language learning. The application of virtual reality technology greatly encourages learners to have high levels of curiosity. Researchers want to develop English language learning with virtual reality, which has the advantage of students being able to explore the virtual world with conditions exactly like real life in the hospitality industry). Where learners hone their understanding of English through analyzing the virtual world.  In the context of language learning, understanding  the effectiveness and acceptance of innovative instructional approaches is crucial.   Based on the background that has been described, the problem can be formulated as follows, how effective is the application of virtual reality media in improving the English language skills of students at SMK Negeri 1 Abung Selatan. This research practically provides an overview and steps for the use and development of learning models by applying virtual reality,One such cutting-edge technology that has gained increasing attention in the field of language education is Virtual Reality This research measures the effectiveness of the application of Virtual Reality technology with quantitative research methods using an experimental approach.  The subjects in this research are 34 students majoring in Hospitality Accommodation in class XI.1 and 31 students in class XI.2 who take Hospitality English lessons. The majority of respondents feel ease and comfort in their interactions with Virtual Reality, with the advantage that students are able to explore the virtual world with conditions like real life in the hotel industry.   The application of Virtual Reality technology encourages students to have a high curiosity. Most of the students stated that learning using gamification was effective because it was related to the previous topics, fun, easy to understand, accessible, increased enthusiasm and interest for learning. It also did not spend a lot of internet data plans and time.

Abstract

This study investigates the pivotal role of English in marketing sustainable local gastronomy to international tourists. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach through a comprehensive literature review, the research systematically synthesizes existing knowledge to formulate effective marketing strategies. Findings reveal four key strategies: strategic English branding and menu localization, enhanced English communication for tourist comfort and safety, digital and international English-centric promotion, and robust capacity building and training in English for sustainable gastronomy. These strategies are crucial for overcoming communication barriers, improving tourist experiences, and boosting global competitiveness. The study concludes that leveraging English is indispensable for articulating the unique value of sustainable local gastronomy, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and contributing to its long-term viability and economic prosperity on the international stage.

Abstract

The education that children will get is inseparable from the perceptions of parents who send or do not send their children to school and every perception conveyed by parents is influenced by several factors. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the perceptions held by parents regarding early childhood education and find out the reasons behind the perceptions conveyed. The research method used is a type of qualitative research, while the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that parents have similarities and differences in conveying perceptions of early childhood education, namely: Parents who send their children to school said that Early Childhood Education is very important because they can gain basic knowledge, making it easier for children to enter primary school. Meanwhile, parents who do not send their children to school say Early Childhood Education is important and quite important, but most of these parents say education can be obtained at home without having to be enrolled in PAUD. The factors underlying parents convey these perceptions in the form of internal and external factors. Internal factors include the parents-children closeness and the reasons for sending and not sending children to school. External factors are environment, educational background, work, and school fees.

Abstract

Kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah merupakan kemampuan kepala sekolah yang berupa kemampuan teknis dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai manajer disuatu lembaga pendidikan. Kepala sekolah memiliki peran yang sangat mempengaruhi dalam mengkoordinasikan, menggerakkan dan menyerasikan semua sumber daya pendidikan yang tersedia di sekolah. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mendorong sekolah untuk dapat mewujudkan visi, misi, tujuan dan sasaran sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nahdhatus Shibyan. Dan peneliti ingin mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengarui kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nahdhatus Shibyan.Yang menjadi permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan apa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dimana penelitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nahdhatus Shibyan Teluk Kiambang. Teknik pengumpulan data ini melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan metode reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kompetensi manajeria kepala sekolah di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nahdhatus Shibyan Teluk Kiambang sudah terlaksana tetapi masih belum maksimal dan untuk faktor yang memepengaruhi kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah sudah dilaksanakan akan tetapi masih belum maksimal dikarenakan masih terdapat beberapa kendala salah satunya yaitu prasana yang masih kurang memadai. Akan tetapi kepala sekolah senantiasa berusaha dalam memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik untuk siswa, tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan serta masyarakat agar kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nahdhatus Shibyan dapat terlaksana dengan maksimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Penggunaan Metode Inquiry Terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal Bilangan Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di Kelas A PAUD Berlian Desa Suka Damai Kecamatan Pangkalan Lampam Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Adapun yang menjadi permasalahan di dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan mengenal bilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode inquiry terhadap kemampuan mengenal bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di kelas A PAUD Berlian Desa Suka Damai Kecamatan Pangkalan Lampam Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel di dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 15 anak yang terdiri dari 5 anak laki-laki dan 10 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil hipotesis di dapatkan setelah dilakukan tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest), selanjutnya peneliti menganalisis hasil penelitian. Hasil analisis data dalam pembuktian uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 34,39 sedangkan dk = 15 + 15 – 2 = 28 dengan taraf nyata 0,025 sehingga didapat ttabel = 2,145. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan thitung ttabel maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, yang berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan metode inquiry terhadap kemampuan mengenal bilangan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di kelas A PAUD Berlian Desa Suka Damai Kecamatan Pangkalan Lampam.

Abstract

Melihat dari revolusi pendidikan yang mulai berkembang dan modern banyak muncul pembelajaran-pembelajaran yang dibuat melalu teknologi, seperti film edukasi, cerita bergambar edukasi dan permainan atau game berbasis Android. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat sebuah produk game berbasis digital tebak gambar usia 5-6 tahun tentang kearifan lokal budaya Lampung di TK Pembina Way Kanan Lampung yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Untuk mengetahui metode penelitian yang dipakai yaitu metode penelitian research and devloment. Adapun tahapan pengembangannya analisis (analysis), pengembangan (development), desain (design), implementasi (implementation) dan evaluasi (evaluasi). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik penilaian kevalidan, kepraktisan serta keefektifan oleh validator materi, media dan bahasa. Serta praktisi dilakukan oleh 2 guru yang ada di TK Pembina Way Kanan Lampung. Hasil kevalidan validator materi 87,5%, media 92,5% dan bahasa 85%. Serta hasil kepraktisan 100% dan 96,6% dan keefektifan 93,24% dan 85,18%.
