Abstrak_ Masjid merupakan tempat ibadah sekaligus pusat peradaban umat Islam. Adapun pusat peradaban islam di Indonesia bagian Timur yaitu Masjid Al-Markaz Al-Islami Makassar. Selain sebagai tempat ibadah, Masjid Al Markaz Al Islami juga menjadi pusat pengembangan dan penelitian, sosial budaya, pendidikan hingga ekonomi. Secara khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengidentifikasi bentuk dan ornamen yang terdapat pada fasade bangunan masjid Al-Markaz Al-Islami, (2) Menganalisis makna simbol yang ada pada fasade bangunan Masjid Al-Markaz Al-Islami Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan melalui kajian semiotika untuk menemukan arti/ pesan dan makna melalui tanda-tanda atau simbol-simbol yang ada pada arsitektur bangunan Masjid Al-Markaz Al-Islami Makassar. Hasil penelitian ini kemudian memberikan informasi tentang (1) Bentuk dan ornamen pada fasade Masjid Al-Markaz Al-Islami diadopsi dari Masjidil Haram di Makkah, Masjid Nabawi di Madinah Al Munawwarah, bentuk rumah masyarakat bugis-makassar serta Masjid Katangka di Kabupaten Gowa, (2) Penciptaan unsur arsitektur bangunan Masjid Al-Markaz Al-Islami merupakan simbol yang memiliki makna.Kata kunci: Semiotika; Bentuk; Ornamen dan Makna Simbol. Abstrak_ The mosque is a place of worship as well as the center of Muslim civilization. The center of Islamic civilization in Eastern Indonesia is the Al-Markaz Al-Islami Mosque in Makassar. Aside from being a place of worship, Al Markaz Al Islami Mosque is also a center for development and research, socio-cultural, educational to economic. Specifically, this study aims to: (1) Identify the shapes and ornaments found on the facade of the Al-Markaz Al-Islami mosque building, (2) Analyzing the meaning of symbols that are on the facade of the Al-Markaz Al-Islami Mosque in Makassar. The results of this study then provide information about: (1) Shapes and ornaments on the facade of Al-Markaz Al-Islami Mosque adopted from the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Nabawi Mosque in Medina Al Munawwarah, a form of Bugis-Makassar community house and Katangka Mosque in Gowa Regency, (2) The creation of architectural elements of the Al-Markaz Al-Islami Mosque building is a symbol that has meaning.Keywords: Semiotics; Shape; Ornaments and meanings of symbols.

Abstrak_ Fasad pada masjid menjadi salah daya tarik tersendiri bagi jamaah untuk datang. Sering kita jumpai masjid dengan fasad yang terabaikan salah satunya adalah dari segi pemeliharaan dan perawatan bangunan, hal ini dapat mempengaruhi faktor kenyamanan, kelayakan, kesehatan pada jamaah masjid. Guna mengetahui tingkat kerusakan struktur pada fasad masjid Muhammad Cheng Hoo dilakukan identifikasi. Identifikasi ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang kerusakan struktur pada bagian fasad Masjid Muhammad Cheng Hoo dan di harapkan mampu memahami pentingnya menjaga kondisi masjid, utamanya di bagian fasad agar keberlangsungan masjid tetap terjaga.Kata kunci: Kerusakan Strktur; Fasad. Abstract_ The facade of the mosque is one of the main attractions for the Jamaah to come. Frequently we encounter mosques with facades that are neglected, one of which is in terms of maintenance and maintenance of buildings, this can affect the comfort, feasibility, health factors in the mosque congregation. Abstrak_ Bentuk fasad sebuah rumah tradisional sebagai identitas sebuah kota dan Pasar Sentral merupakan ikon sebuah daerah. Kondisi pasar sentral kota Takalar yang mengalami degradasi visual sehingga perlu diredesain kembali. Tujuan penulisan yaitu melakukan redesain kembali pasar Takalar dengan menerapkan bentuk fasad rumah Tradisional Takalar. Metode Analisis terhadap lokasi, kondisi bangunan, ruang dan bentuk fasade rumah tradisional Takalar dan sintesa pada konsep bentuk desain pasar . Hasil Pembahasan meliputi lokasi yang berada di Jalan Poros Sungguminasa – Takalar, kabupaten Takalar, kondisi bangunan ini tidak tarawat dan tidak tertata, serta tidak menarik dan konsep bentuk “Sulappa Appa” dan ornament rumah dari rumah tradisional Takalar. Perpaduan antara konsep Bentuk atap, Bentuk Rumah panggung ruang dan ornament pada fasade rumah tradisonal Takalar dan pasar sentral mampu menemukan bentuk desain baru pasar yang unik dan bisa dijadikan sebagai tarikan dan ikon kota Takalar.Kata kunci : Fasad Pasar, Rumah Tradisional, Takalar Abstract_ The façade forms a traditional house as the identity of a city, and the central market is an icon of an area. The primary market conditions of Takalar City are visually degraded so that it needs to be redesigned. The purpose of writing is redesigning the market by applying traditional house facade Takalar. Methods of analysis of the location, conditions of the building, space, and the form of façade traditional house Takalar and synthesis on the concept of the shape of the market design. The results of the discussion include the location located on Poros Road. However, Minasa-Takalar, District Takalar, the condition of the building is not attractive and unorganized and is not exciting and the concept of the form of "Sulappa Appa" and a house ornament from the traditional house Takalar. The combination of the roof shape concept, the shape of the house stage space and decoration on the façade of the conventional house of Takalar and Central Market can find a new design of the market unique. Abstrak_ Sektor pariwisata di Papua Barat semakin meningkat, salah satunya adalah kawasan wisata Pulau Mansinam yang tepatnya terletak di Kabupaten Manokwari. Fasilitas yang perlu dikembangkan dari kawasan wisata ini salah satunya berupa penginapan. Perlunya obyek wisata cottage menggunakan tema yang mendukung ciri khas dan budaya Provinsi Papua Barat khususnya Kabupaten Manokwari. Salah satu pilihan yang dapat diterapkan yaitu dengan menggabungkan unsur tradisional dan modern ke dalam perancangan waterfront cottage atau cottage di tepian pantai Pulau Mansinam ini. Penerapan Arsitektur Eklektik cocok untuk digunakan dalam perancangan desain Waterfront Cottage di Pulau Mansinam ini karena tema ini adalah tema yang menggunakan atau memakai unsur tradisional dan modern. Tujuan penulisan yaitu menghasilkan desain bangunan Cottages yang menekankan unsur tradisional dan modern.Kata kunci: Waterfront; Cottage, Ekletik, Pulau Mansinam Abstract_ The tourism sector in West Papua is increasing, one of which is the man Sonam island tourism area which is precisely located in Manokwari Regency. Abstrak_ Perpustakaan Umum sangatlah penting keberadaannya bagi pelajar dan masyarakat, perancangan Perpustakaan Umum di Bulukumba untuk menyediakan sarana pembelajaran bagi seluruh kalangan masyarakat dari anak-anak sampai orang dewasa maupun lansia. Kajian bertujuan untuk membuat desain Perpustakaan Umum dengan mempertimbangkan aspek lokasinya, kebutuhan dan kegiatan serta kenyamanan bagi calon penghuninya. Metode perancangan yang akan digunakan adalah ekslporasi desain yang menggunakan konsep Kenneth Yeang pada penerapan penghawaan alami/ventilasi alam. Konsep ini akan menjadi tolak ukur perancangan perpustakaan berlantai, agar perpustakaan ini direncanakan dapat memberikan kenyamanan bagi penggunanya dengan menerapkan sistem penghawaan alami pada bangunan. Perancangan perpustakaan ini di desain dengan menerapkan konsep penghawaan alami dengan memperhatikan hubungan antara bentuk arsitektur dan lingkungannya dalam mempertimbangkan iklim di daerah tersebut. Hasil desain berupa visual tata ruang, tampak dan persepktif bangunan perpustakaan.Kata kunci: Perancangan; Perpustakaan; Umum; Penghawaan Alami. Abstract - Public Libraries are vital for students and society, the design of public libraries in Bulukumba is to provide learning facilities for all people, from children to adults or the elderly. The study aims to create a shared library design by considering aspects of its location, needs and activities as well as comfort for potential users. The design method that will be used is an exploration design that uses the Kenneth Yeang concept on the application of natural ventilation / natural ventilation. This concept will be a benchmark for the creation of a floor library, so that this library is planned to provide comfort for its users by applying natural ventilation to buildings. The design of this library is designed by using the concept of natural ventilation by taking into account the relationship between architectural forms and the environment in considering the climate in the area. Abstrak_ Perancangan gedung robotika merupakan suatu kegiatan yang akan menghidupkan fungsi teknologi dan robotika di Indonesia sebagai aset edukasi, dan hobi serta mengangkat daya tarik pecinta robotika, pertunjukan kompetisi berkala, dan juga edukasi dalam bidang teknologi robotika. Lokasi project rancangan tepatnya di Makassar, Jl. Urip Sumoharjo, pemilihan lokasi di pertimbangkan dari pemerataan fasilitas robotika di Indonesia, selain itu mempertimbangkan dari daerahnya dimana daerah tersebut adalah daerah komersil, pendidikan dan industri bisnis. Pada perancangan gedung robotika mengangkat tema ekspos struktur, menurut Colin Davis sebagai suatu aliran arsitektur yang bermuara pada ide gerakan arsitektur modern yang membesar-besarkan kesan struktur dan teknologi suatu bangunan. Dalam rancangan ini mengambil studi banding dari studi lapangan yang berada di kota surabaya, sedangkan studi literatur mengambil referensi internet, studi banding memberikan wawasan akan rancangan gedung robotik dan mengkaji tema ekspos struktur, perancangan ini tedapat suatu program ruang yang telah di susun pada bab program rancangan yang akan menjadikan rancangan ini tertata dengan baik dan sesuai standar ruang. Gedung robotika mengambil konsep transformasi bentuk bangunan dari transformasi bentuk kepala dan logo robot, yang diolah sehingga membentuk suatu bangunan yang menarik dan dinamis, dari hasil rancangan tatanan lahan menghasilkan zonifikasi yang mempengaruhi penataan massa dan sirkulasi yang komunikatif, hasil rancangan ruang mengambil dari konsep ekspresif yang membuat ruangan menarik dan berestetika sama halnya seperti sifat robot yang menonjolkan ekspresif.Kata kunci: Ekspos; Gedung; Robotika; Struktur. Abstract_ Robotics building design is an activity that will revive the function of technology and robotics in Indonesia as educational assets and hobbies as well as raise the appeal of robotics lovers, regular competition performances, and also education in the field of robotics technology. The location of the design project is precisely in Makassar, Jl. Urip Sumoharjo, the choice of location is considered from the equal distribution of robotics facilities in Indonesia, besides considering the area where the area is a commercial area, education and business industry. In building robotics design, the theme is structural exposure, according to Colin Davis as an architectural flow that leads to the idea of modern architectural movements that exaggerate the impression of the structure and technology of a building. In this design, it takes a comparative study from a field study in the city of Surabaya, while the literature study takes internet references, the comparative study provides insight into the robotic building design and examines the theme of structural exposure, this design is a space program that has been compiled in the design program chapter. which will make this design well organized and according to room standards. The robotics building takes the concept of transforming the shape of the building from the transformation of the robot's head and logo, which is processed to form an attractive and dynamic building, from the results of the land layout design produces zoning that affects communicative mass arrangement and circulation, the results of the spatial design take from the expressive concept make the room attractive and aesthetic as well as the character of a robot that accentuates expressiveness.Keywords: Exposure; Building; Robotics; Structure.

Abstrak_ Sekolah Tinggi Fashion Desain dan Seni dengan Konsep Modern Retro di Makassar bertujuan untuk menyediakan sarana pendidikan sekolah khusus mode atau fashion. Dalam perancangan Sekolah Tinggi Fashion Desain dan Seni ini menerapkan konsep modern retro yang digunakan dalam fasad serta interior bangunan. Dalam perancangan ini juga mempertimbangkan konsep yang berhubungan dengan seni sebagai sekolah fashion dan seni yang berlokasi perencanaan di Kota Makassar. Konsep retro dengan minimalis namun tidak kaku akan dikaji dalam desain sekolah. Analisis deskriptif dan eksplorasi desain dalam mencoba menemukan aplikasi konsep retro pada desain Bentuk dan fasad sekolah seni yang sifatnya formal. Hasil desain menemukan bahwa dalam mencapai bentuk dengan konsep retro perlu memperhatikan bentuk tapak, elemen fasade dengan konsep yang minimalis namun tidak kaku. Elemen garis dengan warna yang berirama mampu mengimbangi bentuk yang minimalis. Bentuk sederhana mampu mengimbangi kekakuan dalam desain.Kata Kunci : Sekolah; Fashion; Desain; Seni; Modern; Retro. Abstract_ The College of Fashion Design and Art with Modern Retro Concepts in Makassar aims to provide educational facilities for schools specifically for fashion or fashion. In designing the Fashion Design and Art College, the retro-modern concept was applied to the facade and interior of the building. This design also considers images related to art as a fashion and art school located in Makassar City. The retro concept with a minimalist but not rigid will be studied in the design of the school. Descriptive analysis and design exploration in trying to find the application of retro concepts to the creation of traditional art school forms and facades. The results of the design found that in achieving form with a retro idea, it is necessary to pay attention to the shape of the tread, the facade element with a minimalist but not rigid concept. Line elements with rhythmic colors are able to balance the minimalist form. Creative hubs form a network that drives the growth of the creative industry at the local level, which then continues to the regional level. A creative hub is a dynamic space that provides more employment opportunities, expands educational services, networking opportunities, and business development, and intensifies innovation in the creative industry. The design of a creative hub by applying the concept of archipelago architecture aims to develop the creative sector in Wajo Regency by designing a creative hub based on local culture. The architectural concept of the archipelago will used to the creative hub form by focusing on the architecture in South Sulawesi. The purpose of the study is to create an innovative center that has the characteristics of South Sulawesi through the method of exploring forms in the concept of building design. The exploration results found compositions that applied the shape of the archipelago of South Sulawesi, especially on the roof and mass composition.

Meningkatnya perkembangan dunia otomotif di kota Makassar dapat dilihat dari makin banyaknya event otomotif yang diselenggarakan berupa pameran motor, mobil, bursa otomotif, kontes mekanik, kontes modifikasi. Adanya komunitas atau club motor dan mobil yang banyak bermunculan sehingga otomotif juga menjadi ajang kompetisi, baik kejuaraan balap, adventure maupun fashion. Tujuan penelitian ini mendesain Gedung Pameran Otomotif yang berfungsi sebagai salah satu sarana untuk mewujudkan kreativitas dan minat dalam dunia otomotif serta bidang penjualan dengan mengaplikasikan konsep Inside-Out : transparant dan point of interest by coloring dengan menggunakan metode eksplorasi desain dan kajian literasi. Hasil desain bangunan menerapkan konsep pada hubungan antara ruang yang transparan dan warna cerah sebagai aksen.

The development of converts in eastern Indonesia, especially in Makassar, is fast but not followed by structured facilities and guidance. The center's design for the development and empowerment of converts to Islam in the city of Makassar needs to be using a modern Islamic architectural approach. Modern Islamic architecture is a collaboration between Islamic architecture and modern architecture. The concept of modern Islamic architecture is an architectural approach that applies Islamic values to the design of buildings with easily recognizable characteristics such as ornaments and simple openings. Qualitative descriptive and design exploration methods are used for designing and applying ornament applications to buildings. The purpose of writing is to apply modern Islamic architectural ornaments on the facade of the building. The design results found that the application for the design according to the function. The converts are more applied to the front in the form of ornaments and windows.
