Abstract

The goal of classroom management is to offer students supplementary learning opportunities. A teacher employs many tactics to efficiently organize students, such as allocating space, time, and resources, to enhance their learning process. The objective of this study is to examine the administration of classrooms at SMPN 1 Sukamakmur, Aceh Province, with a particular focus on the difficulties that instructors have as a result of insufficient resources. The study also seeks to examine the class management process that is associated with the instruction and acquisition of the English language. This study used a qualitative research design with descriptive approach. The study observed one English instructor who instructed a group of seventh-grade students as a representative sample, utilizing a combination of observation and interview as data gathering techniques. The results of the study illustrate the successful execution of classroom management, devoid of any facility-related problems. Moreover, the classroom management methods are in accordance with the lesson plan specified in the report.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan pilar utama perekonomian Indonesia, namun seringkali mengalami kendala dalam aspek pengelolaan keuangan dan perencanaan usaha yang matang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman dan penerapan aspek keuangan dalam studi kelayakan bisnis oleh pelaku UMKM di kawasan Pantai Tete, Desa Bonepute, Kecamatan Tonra. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pelaku UMKM belum mengenal istilah studi kelayakan bisnis secara formal, dan belum melakukan pencatatan keuangan secara sistematis. Meskipun demikian, prinsip dasar kelayakan usaha seperti menentukan harga jual dan estimasi modal telah diterapkan secara intuitif. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya edukasi, pendampingan, serta penguatan literasi keuangan dan digital agar UMKM dapat berkembang secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Deteksi stanting pada balita adalah proses identifikasi dini untuk mendeteksi gangguan pertumbuhan yang terlihat dari tinggi badan yang berada di bawah standar usia. Stunting merupakan indikator dari masalah gizi kronis yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan asupan gizi dalam jangka waktu yang lama, sering kali diperburuk oleh infeksi berulang dan kondisi sosial ekonomi yang tidak mendukung. Stunting, yang merupakan kegagalan pertumbuhan anak akibat kekurangan gizi jangka panjang, Merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang rumit dengan dampak yang berlangsung dalam jangka panjang. Dalam penelitian ini, dibangun sistem yang menggunakan algoritma machine learning, yaitu decision tree, SVM, KNN, random forest, naïve bayes,  logistic regression, untuk mengukur tingkat akurasi masing-masing algoritma. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan 30% data untuk pengujian dan 70% untuk pelatihan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan tingkat akurasi algoritma sebagai berikut: decision tree mencapai akurasi 99%, SVM 95%, logistic regression 74%. naïve bayes 48%, KNN 99%, dan  random forest 99%. Oleh karena itu, algoritma decision tree, KNN, dan random forest menghasilkan akurasi tertinggi, yaitu 99% yang menunjukkan bahwa algoritma ini lebih efektif untuk mendeteksi stanting pada balita.

Abstract

The high demand for refill drinking water by many people has led to many sales activities for refill drinking water and it is easier to find. The purpose of this study was to determine the E.coli bacteria and the physical environment on the quality of refill dringking water treatment. This study uses a descriptive method with an observational design. The research variables were physical and bacteriological parameters. Samples were taken at three depots by direct observation, measuring physical conditions and taking water samples. The data were obtained at the depot and then analyzed in the laboratory. From the results of the test the turbidity level of the sample differs in the sample of 0,24, sample two with a turbidity level of 0,06 sample true with a turbidity level of the sample is different in sample on with a temperature level of 0,26 degrees celcius, while in samples two and three have the same temperature level of 0,27 degrees Celcius. Measurement on the physical quality of the smell and taste of refilled drinking water on samples one to three samples has met the requirements because it does not smell and taste. While the color test showed that thre was no difference in the color of the refilled drinking water from the drinking water depots. All samples met the reuirements as a source of drinking water based on the Minister of Health Regulation 494/Menkes/Per/IV/2010 concerning of refill drinkingwater in the city of Parepare.

Abstract

Penelitian akuntansi berkembang pesat seiring kompleksitas masalah yang dihadapi oleh dunia usaha dan kebijakan publik. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) muncul sebagai solusi metodologis yang menggabungkan kekuatan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pendekatan ini memberikan gambaran yang lebih utuh terhadap fenomena yang diteliti, menggabungkan angka-angka statistik dengan pemahaman kontekstual dan interpretatif. Artikel ini membahas penerapan pendekatan campuran dalam penelitian akuntansi dan sosial, manfaat yang ditawarkan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi. Selain itu, disajikan contoh penerapan nyata sebagai gambaran aplikatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendorong penggunaan pendekatan campuran dalam studi akuntansi yang kompleks dan multidimensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) dengan desain deskriptif dan eksploratif yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji manfaat, tantangan, serta penerapan pendekatan campuran dalam konteks penelitian akuntansi. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka terhadap berbagai sumber sekunder seperti jurnal ilmiah, buku metodologi, dan artikel penelitian terkait penerapan metode campuran dalam studi akuntansi dan sosial. Analisis dilakukan secara tematik terhadap isi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola umum serta membandingkan keunggulan dan keterbatasan masing-masing pendekatan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga memanfaatkan data sekunder dari beberapa studi terdahulu yang mengombinasikan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk menunjukkan tren dan relevansi pendekatan campuran dalam praktik penelitian. Hasil dari data kualitatif dan kuantitatif kemudian diintegrasikan secara analitis guna memperoleh pemahaman yang utuh dan komprehensif.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang mengakibatkan dampak jangka panjang terhadap kualitas hidup anak, terutama dalam hal pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, dan produktivitas di masa depan. Pengetahuan Ibu terhadap dampak stunting masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media leaflet terhadap pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan ibu yang mempunyai anak usia taman kanak-kanak dalam percepatan penurunan stunting. Metode Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan desain penelitian pretest-posttest. Responden 80 ibu yang memiliki anak usia taman kanak-kanak di Kota Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara. Hasil Penelitian pengetahuan responden sebelum  intervensi yaitu 10.95 ± 0.45 dan setelah diberikan intervensi  12.83 ± 1.53; p = 0.000. Pengetahuan Kelompok kontrol juga mengalami peningkatan, tetapi skor akhir lebih rendah dibandingkan kelompok intervensi, meskipun signifikan (p = 0.000). Sikap: Pada kelompok intervensi, skor sikap meningkat secara signifikan dengaan nilai sevelum intervensi sebesar  13.45 ± 1.03 dan setelah diberikan intervensi dengan nilai 14.58 ± 2.62). Sementara kelompok sebelum intervensi dengan nilai 13.88 ± 0.46 dan stelah intervensi menjadi 13.90 ± 1.63; akan tetapi perubahan tidak signifikan dengan p = 0.928). Tindakan: Pada kelompok intervensi, sebelum intervensi dan setelah intervensi terdapat peningkatan tindakan yang signifikan (dari 10.00 ± 0.55 menjadi 11.20 ± 2.13; p = 0.001). Hal ini juga pada kelompok kontrol juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan (10.43 ± 1.05 menjadi 11.75 ± 1.93; p = 0.000), Saran Penggunaan QR code dalam leaflet dapat diterapkan agar ibu dapat mengakses informasi tambahan dalam bentuk video atau materi interaktif lainnya.

Abstract

Early financial literacy is an essential foundation for developing financial awareness and skills. This program was implemented through the Community Service Program (KKN) in Petiku Village in October 2024. The program aimed to introduce basic financial concepts to micro-entrepreneurs and improve the owners' competency in financial management. The research methods used were interviews, direct observation, and field training to identify problems and provide easy-to-implement financial record-keeping solutions. The results showed that implementing simple financial records, such as cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets, manually can help MSMEs better monitor their finances, make more informed business decisions, and improve operational efficiency. This study concluded that good and regular financial records are crucial for the sustainability and development of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the Beam Center Learning Model (Balok Center Learning) in optimizing the creativity of children aged 4–5 years. Employing a descriptive qualitative research method, data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The primary objective was to assess the effectiveness of structured learning through beam center activities in enhancing early childhood creativity. The findings reveal that the creativity of children in this age group was significantly optimized, as evidenced by the frequent and observable emergence of creative behaviors across various domains in nearly all participants. This suggests a strong correlation between the learning model and children's creative development. The study concludes that the Beam Center Learning Model is effective in fostering creativity among children aged 4–5 years, as demonstrated in the learning environment at Irma Serang Kindergarten. These results underscore the importance of structured, play-based learning environments in early childhood education to support cognitive and creative growth.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the ways lecturers assessed students’ English writing. The respondents of this study were two lecturers teaching Writing course at English Education Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh. This study employed interview as the instrument to collect data. Data were analyzed by using thematic analysis. The findings of the study revealed that the lecturers employed analytic rubrics when evaluating their students’ writing. The findings suggest that rubrics are effective to evaluate the students’ writing for its reliable scoring system. This study is expected to provide insights for other lecturers in terms of evaluating writing using assessment rubrics in English classroom.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing the development of reading habits through online English stories on Wattpad and explores the platform’s associated benefits. Employing a descriptive-qualitative research method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with three active Wattpad users. Purposive and snowball sampling were utilized to select respondents. Data analysis followed Miles, Huberman, and Saldana's (2014) interactive model. Findings indicate that reading frequency, accessibility, diverse genres, and a strong interest to enhance English language proficiency significantly contribute to the formation of reading habits. Participants reported spending 3.5-6 hours weekly on Wattpad, reading 1-3 times per week. Key benefits of using Wattpad include improved language skills, expanded vocabulary, enhanced grammar comprehension, and overall reading proficiency. This study concludes that Wattpad’s accessibility, diverse content, and interactive features effectively facilitate the creation and maintenance of English reading habits.
