Abstract

Frying oil is commonly used to fry food, especially in deep-fat frying methods at atmospheric pressure. Variations in fried food results are caused by various factors, including the type of food, type of frying oil, frying duration, frying oil temperature, and frying frequency. This study aims to investigate the effect of variations in temperature and frying frequency on the quality of French fries fried using self-produced coconut oil. Coconut oil was made from coconut milk that was pretreated by storing the coconut milk at a cold temperature before processing. Potatoes were fried at temperatures of 140 °C, 160 °C, 180 °C, and 200 °C, with the frequency process repeated 9 times with consecutive frying. Observations of water content, texture, and color of the French fries were evaluated at the end of the 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th frying for each frying temperature. The results showed that the temperature treatment at each frying frequency had no significant effect and the higher the temperature, the lower the water content. The higher the temperature, the higher the texture value (0.3467 kgf - 0.8067 kgf), and the greatest color change occurred at a temperature of 200 °C. Based on the research results, it is recommended to fry potatoes at a maximum temperature of 180 °C and with a frying frequency of no more than 9 times to obtain a good quality, crispy, and safe-to-eat French fries product.

Abstract

Implementing evidence-based nursing is an effort to improve the quality of nursing care by applying the best research results in carrying out patient care. However, its implementation still needs to be improved. This study aims to identify barriers to nurses' implementation of EBN. Descriptive research was conducted on 49 nurses in the surgical inpatient room of one of the government hospitals in Pekanbaru City. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data were analyzed univariately using frequency distribution. The results of the study found that the main things that hinder the implementation of evidence-based nursing are the number of patients to be treated (69.4%), lack of fluency in English (61.2%), lack of time to study research (53.1%) and lack of knowledge of nurses about scientific evidence-based care (51%).  Workload and personal aspects become obstacles in the implementation of evidence-based nursing by nurses; it may be necessary to recalculate the workload so that the distribution of nurses becomes better and consideration to carry out training related to evidence-based nursing to improve knowledge and practice of evidence-based nursing by nurses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada eksplorasi kemampuan spektroskopi UV/Vis/NIR untuk memprediksi parameter cupping test kualitas kopi sangrai. Sampel kopi Arabika disangrai pada suhu 198°C selama 6 menit (Light to Medium), 10 menit (Medium) dan 14 menit (Medium to Dark). Sebanyak 1 kg biji kopi disiapkan untuk tingkat waktu sangrai yang kemudian menghasilkan 20 kelompok sampel untuk menit ke-6 dan masing-masing 25 kelompok sampel pada menit ke-10 dan ke-14. Selanjutnya, dilakukan evaluasi cupping test pada kelompok sampel. Secara simultan pada kelompok sampel yang sama, dilakukan akuisisi data spektra menggunakan instrumen portable Vernier Go Direct SpectroVis Plus dan sensor MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) C12880MA. Dari hasil tersebut, menghasilkan 70 total data cupping test dan spektra yang kemudian digunakan sebagai input pembentukan model kalibrasi (prediksi). Partial Least Square Regression (PLSR) digunakan untuk membentuk model dengan Venetian blinds cross-validation 10-folds sebagai validasi internal. Hasil menunjukkan Vernier Go Direct SpectroVis Plus memiliki sensitifitas lebih baik dalam menangkap informasi yang ada pada biji kopi sangrai dan mampu memprediksi beberapa parameter cupping test yaitu Body (R2 C = 0.726, R2 CV = 0.613), Balance (R2 C = 0.738, R2 CV = 0.603) dan Overall (R2 C = 0.755, R2 CV = 0.628). Sedangkan untuk sensor MEMS C12880MA, nilai prediksi tertinggi didapat pada parameter Acidity dengan nilai R2 C dan R2 CV sebesar 0.546 dan 0.500. Berdasarkan nilai VIP Score, kontribusi terbesar dalam pembentukan model berada di rentang 760-780nm, 808-830 nm dan 843-873 nm untuk Vernier Go Direct SpectroVis Plus serta 565-637 nm dan 705-737 nm untuk MEMS C12880MA.

Abstract

Sebagian besar masyarakat Desa Ngawonggo Kabupaten Malang bekerja disektor pertanian dan peternakan. Peternakan yang dikembangkan adalah peternakan ayam (25 usaha) dan perikanan (20 usaha kolam ikan lele). Permasalahan utama dalam usaha peternakan dan perikanan ini adalah pakan, karena biaya pakan bisa mencapai 75% produksi, harga pakan sangat berfluktuasi,  pakan harus diimpor. Permasalahan lain dari pakan adalah ketersediaannya yang tidak pasti di pasaran. Tujuan dari kegiatan Doktor Mengabdi ini adalah mendesimasi teknologi pengolahan pakan ayam dan lele dengan memanfaatkan bahan baku lokal di UKM Forum Nusantara Mandiri Desa Ngawonggo Kecamatan Tajinan Kabupaten Malang. Kegiatan ini meliputi implementasi mesin produksi pakan, pembimbingan teknis, pendampingan pemasaran dan evaluasi/ monitoring. Hasil kegiatan mesin bisa berproduksi dalam pembuatan pelet ikan dan ayam, anggota kelompok sudah bisa menerapkan pemasaran secara online. Kegiatan Doktor Mengabdi ini dapat memecahkan permasalah pakan ayam dan lele melalui pengoptimalan sumber daya lokal sehingga bisa meningkatkan pendapatan petani/peternak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine whether geopolitical risks affect firms' cash reserves in Indonesia. Using a panel data analysis, we analyze the role of GPR (short for geopolitical risk) on firms' cash reserves from 2010 to 2020. The results reveal that firms spend their cash reserves when encountering geopolitical risk, specifically financially constrained firms. We extend our study by investigating the effects of state ownership and group affiliations on firms' attitudes towards GPR. State ownership positively affects the relation of GPR and firms' cash reserves, while group affiliation doesn't show a notable impact. The result was robust to endogeneity issues. However, further studies are still needed to determine the extent of geopolitical risk impacts firms' performances. This research is hoped to be useful for policy-makers to anticipate appropriate future regulations in order to help entrepreneurs and the country's economic growth. As for the practitioner itself, i.e., firms, business owners, and entrepreneurs, this research is expected to provide notable information about the impact of risk on firms in Indonesia. Since the economy is shifting to a borderless economy, it can be one of the considerations in making business or economic decisions when firms are faced with geopolitical uncertainty.

Abstract

Khitan merupakan proses pembersihan alat kelamin dengan cara memotong sebagian penutup penis sehingga sumbatan yang mungkin ada karena kotoran pada saluran penis menjadi hilang dan terhindar dari terjangkitnya penyakit. Saat ini, bakti sosial khitan adalah hal yang dibutuhkan orang tua untuk menjalankan sunnah tanpa mengeluarkan biaya sedikitpun. Selain itu pemahaman tentang perawatan pasca khitan masih disikapi keliru oleh orang tua seperti melarang anak makan telur, melangkahi kotoran ayam, melarang mandi dan sebagainya yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa kepercayaan terhadap mitos dan nilai sosial di masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman keluarga tentang hal-hal yang harus dilakukan dan diperhatikan serta dihindari dalam perawatan luka dan mitos pasca khitan pada anak.Metode pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan melalui kegiatan bakti sosial khitan terhadap 30 anak, juga edukasi mitos pasca khitan ke 30 orang tua anak yang di khitan melalui ceramah menggunakan leaflet secara personal. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan cara mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan edukasi menggunakan cara pretest dan post-tes pada orang tua. Hasil evaluasi yang diperoleh adalah rerata skor pre-test menunjukkan nilai 43 poin dan meningkat pada post-test sebesar 100 poin. Ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi mitos pasca khitan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua pada ranah kognitif. Sehingga edukasi mitos pasca khitan sangat penting dilakukan untuk mengurangi risiko pelambatan kesembuhan luka pasca khitan pada anak.

Abstract

One strategy to increase peanut production is to use good-quality seeds. The content of the seed determines the quality of the seed. Drying with low relative humidity can lower the drying temperature so that drying is done quickly and seed quality is maintained. This research was conducted to analyze the process and differences in peanut seed drying using dehumidifier drying and oven drying methods. Drying was carried out using a dehumidifier and oven drying machine at 30 °C, 40 °C, and 50 °C until the moisture content reached 9%, with observations every 30 minutes. Then the dried seeds were analyzed for their physical and physiological qualities. The results showed that the time needed for dehumidifier drying was faster than oven drying, with the details of dehumidifier machine drying at 30 °C, 40 °C, and 50 °C being 18.5 hours, 15 hours, and 10.5 hours. While drying in the oven at the same temperature, it takes 21 h, 17 h, and 12 h. From the results of the analysis of the physical quality of the seeds, the germination test, and the vigor test, it can be seen that dehumidifier drying gave the highest seed percentage results of 98%, 98%, and 88%. Keywords: Dehumidifier, Drying, Peanuts, Seed Quality, Water content.

Abstract

Comprehensive Midwifery Care is care that is provided continuously to mothers during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns and family planning which aims to continuously improve the health of mothers and babies with an obstetric management approach method with varney's line of thought and documented in the form of SOAP, carried out at the Pratama Lestari Clinic on June 1-July 10, 2024. Midwifery care is carried out in NY. L is 29 years old, G2P1A0H1. In antenatal care, there is a gap, namely that triple elimination skinning is not carried out. In childbirth period I lasts for 12 hours and 30 minutes, period II lasts for 25 minutes, period III lasts for 30 minutes there is a gap, namely manual placental action is carried out, stage IV lasts for 2 hours, the baby is born spontaneously and there is a gap, namely IMD is not carried out on the baby, weight is 3100 grams, body length is 49 cm, and neonatal visits are carried out 3 times there is no gap between theory and practice. The postpartum period runs normally without complications, 4 visits are made. Mrs. L's family planning care chose Kb MAL as her contraceptive method. From these results, it can be concluded that the comprehensive care provided to Mrs. L has not met the standards. Asuhan Kebidanan Komprehensif adalah asuhan yang diberikan secara berkesinambungan kepada ibu selama kehamilan, persalinan, nifas, bayi baru lahir dan KB yang bertujuan agar kesehatan ibu dan bayi terus meningkat dengan metode pendekatan manajemen kebidanan dengan alur fikir varney dan didokumentasikan dalam bentuk SOAP, dilaksanakan di Klinik Pratama Lestari pada tanggal 1 Juni- 10 Juli 2024. Asuhan kebidanan dilakukan pada NY. L umur 29 tahun, G2P1A0H1. Pada asuhan antenatal care terdapat kesenjangan yaitu tidak dilakukan skining tripel eliminasi. Pada persalinan kala I berlangsung selama 12 jam 30 menit, kala II berlangsung selama 25 menit, kala III berlangsung selama 30 menit terdapat kesenjangan yaitu dilakukan tindakan manual plasenta, kala IV berlangsung selama 2 jam, Bayi lahir spontan dan terdapat kesenjangan yaitu tidak dilakukan IMD pada bayi, berat 3100 gram, panjang badan 49 cm, dan dilakukan kunjungan neonatus sebanyak 3 kali tidak terdapat kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik. Masa nifas berjalan normal tanpa ada penyulit, dilakukan kunjungan sebanyak 4 kali. Asuhan keluarga berencana Ny.L memilih Kb MAL sebagai metode kontrasepsinya. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa asuhan komprehensif yang diberikan pada Ny. L belum memenuhi standar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu guna melihat pengaruh laba akuntansi, arus kas operasi, price to book value, dan kinerja keuangan perusahaan terhadap return saham pada saham perusahaan pertambangan Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode Tahun 2017-2021  baik secara parsial dan simultan. Investor tentu akan memikirkan dua hal sebelum memutuskan untuk membeli saham. Artinya, risiko yang terkait dengan pengembalian yang diharapkan dan investasi alternatif. Untuk memperhatikan kedua hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi baik menggunakan metode analisis fundamental maupun metode analisis teknikal. Untuk melakukan analisis fundamental ini sendiri, memerlukan informasi dasar seperti data pelaporan keuangan. Populasi pada penelitian memiliki semua perusahaan pertambangan di BEI Periode 2017-2020 yaitu sebanyak 16 perusahaan dan sampelnya dengan jumlah  unit analisis. Metode penelitian menerapkan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian adalah  variabel laba akuntansi, operasi arus kas dan kinerja keuangan perusahaan secara parsial tidak berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap return saham pada perusahaan pertambangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2017–2020. Variabel price to book value secara parsial berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap return saham pada perusahaan pertambangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2017–2020.  Variabel laba akuntansi, operasi arus kas, price to book value dan kinerja keuangan perusahaan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap return saham pada perusahaan pertambangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2017–2020.

Abstract

Honey has significant health benefits due to its rich content of nutrients, enzymes, and bioactive compounds. However, conventional processing methods such as pasteurization can potentially degrade the physical and chemical quality of honey, including moisture content, density, total soluble solids, viscosity, and color stability. This study examines the effectiveness of the Evaporator Vacuum Cooling Four in One technology in maintaining the quality of Acacia honey compared to various pasteurization durations. The results show that vacuum cooling technology significantly preserves honey quality in terms of moisture content, density, and total soluble solids at a better level than conventional methods. Additionally, vacuum cooling optimally maintains honey's viscosity and color, demonstrating its superiority in reducing damage to bioactive components. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more efficient honey processing technology in the industry, aiming to provide high-quality honey that meets consumer health standards.
