Abstract

Abstract. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton dalam menganalisis model penularan virus Rabies. Model matematika sistem penularan virus Rabies direpresentasikan dalam bentuk persamaan diferensial biasa (PDB) non linear orde satu sehingga sulit diselesaikan dengan metode analitik. Metode numerik Adams Bashforth-Moulton order dua belas digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena sudah terbukti merupakan metode yang lebih teliti dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang sulit diselesaikan secara analitik. Sebagai perbandingan, digunakan metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton order sembilan untuk menganalisis tingkat keakuratan dan keefektivannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton order dua belas memiliki nilai error yang lebih kecil dibandingkan metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton order sembilan. Hal ini menunjukkan metode Adams Bashforth-Moulton order dua belas lebih efektif dalam menganalisis model dinamika penularan virus Rabies. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) penerapan pembelajaran yang digunakan pada pokok bahasan Teorema Pythagoras untuk siswa tunarungu di Kelas VIIIB SMPLB, (2) aktivitas dan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam penggunaan pembelajaran pada pokok bahasan Teorema Pythagoras untuk siswa tunarungu di Kelas VIIIB SMPLB. Penelitian ini tergolong Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dimana Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik dengan Whole Brain Teaching. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIB SMPLB Sinar Harapan Probolinggo yang berjumlah 5 siswa. Siswa terdiri atas 3 orang siswa laki-laki dan 2 orang siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Dalam penelitian ini, siswa dikatakan tuntas apabila memenuhi ketuntasan ≥70. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pra siklus semuanya tidak tuntas. Keaktifan siswa pada pra siklus cenderung pasif. Kemudian, pada siklus I dan siklus II siswa yang tuntas mencapai 5 orang. Keaktifan siswa mulai tumbuh dan berani untuk tampil di depan kelas. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa Penerapan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik dengan Whole Brain Teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa tunarungu kelas VIIIB SMPLB Sinar Harapan Probolinggo tahun ajaran 2014/2015.   Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik, Whole Brain Teaching, Aktivitas siswa, Hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstract.The use of ICT in Indonesianeducation especially in the field of mathematics is less optimal. It would require the development of materials that use e-learning to facilitate students in learning. The device was developed by a model of learning missourimathematics project (MMP). The developments of material methods are using the method of Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel. Based on the results of the expert appraisal, validity coefficient of lesson plans,worksheets,student books, THB and e-learning in a row is 0.94; 0.96; 0.90; 0.93 and 0.92 which means the device is already valid. Observations of teachers in managing the learning ability, the percentage of student activity, student questionnaire responses, student self-assessment questionnaires and tests learning outcomes showed that the device is practical and effective. Abstract

Abstract. The house fire will produce smoke and hot gas. When we are trapped inside the house fire, we need a secured evacuation path to escape. In this research talk about mathematical model analysis on the spread of house fire by using a finite volume method. Researcher will study the simulation of smoke and hot gas by utilising a mathematical model. We will also model the spread of hot smoke equations based on momentum and energy models. We used Matlab to analyse the spread of smoke and hot gas and use Fluent software to have a graphic animation. The result of simulation with Matlab and Fluent are chart, tables, and images spread of smoke and hot gas. The result shows that te spread of the smoke and hot gas depends on the epicentrum of fire. Abstract

Abstract. Strategy of PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review) with the technique of Mind Mapping is the learning to create combination and relation between new information that have been know with the use of all in the students’ brain and write about what they learn in a piece of paper. This research is expected to know the process and result of the development of mathematics learning instruments based on strategy of PQ4R with the technique of Mind Mapping in sub subject of set for class VII. Learning instruments development model refers to Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel Model (4-D) Model. The result product is lesson plan, student books, work sheets, and evaluation test. Based on validation process and tryout the learning sets can be concluded that the learnig sets had been appropriate with validate, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract.Web based learning is attractive and innovative learning that can be used in class. The goal of the research is to know about process and result of developing of mathematics learning instrument based on web cooperative model type STAD with moodle application for triangle topic grade VII junior high shool. The research used developmental model Plomp. The subject of the research is student of VIIA in MTs Al Qodiri I Jember for even semester 2012/2013 academic year. The datas is validation sheets, activities of student and teacher’s observation sheets, questionner,and evaluation test. The products of the research are lesson plan, student worksheet, student book, evaluation test, and learning media.The result of this research is the learning instrument that developed is valid, pragmatic, and effective. Abstract. Let graph G = (V,E) has V vertices and E edges. For every two different edges of graph G has total irregularity strength labelling ofG ifωt(e) ≠ ωt(f) where graph G = (V,E) has V vertices and E edges. The weight edge ofxy of a graph G is 𝜔(xy) =𝜆x) +𝜆xy) + 𝜆y) where 𝜆x) is the label vertex x and 𝜆y) is the label vertex y and 𝜆xy) is the label edge of the xy. The minimum value on the biggest labels make a graph G, has irregular labeling which is defined as total edge irregularity strength and denoted by tes(G). In this article, The total edge irregularity strength of diamond ladder graph and the union of diamond ladder graphs (isomorphic) are determined. Abstract

Abstract.This study aimed to know the application of quantum teaching in improving student’s mistakes for social arithmetic topic at seventh grade of juniorhigh school. This study involved grade VIID of SMPN 7 Jember school year 2013/2014 . The research method is a classroom action research. There are four type of student’s mistake, namely the error of using a data, the error of theorem and definition application, technical error, inference error. The result shows that the total error at cycle I reach 38,21% and cycle II reach 28,45%. While the student’s activity of cycle I is 88,86% and cycle II 93,90%. It can be concluded that the quantum teaching model can reduce the students mistakes. Key Words:quantum teaching, social arithmetic, student’s activity, student’s mistakes

Abstract

Abstract: This researchwas aimedto describe the process of the development of a characterbased Mathematics Learning Material basedon Whole Brain Teaching methodwith Manga Studio for cubes and cuboid topics at eight gradejunior high school. The learning developmental model refers to four D models proposed by Thiagarajan. The products of this research are lesson plan, student book, worksheet, and evaluation test.The resultsshow that the coeficient of validaty for each product are lesson plan reachs 0,94, student book reachs 0,91, work sheet reachs 0,91, and evaluation test reachs 0,82. it can be concluded that the characterbased Mathematics Learning Material basedon Whole Brain Teaching methodwith Manga Studio have fulfilledthe validity, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract.For a simple graph G, a labelling λ∶V(G)∪E(G)→ {1,2,…,k} is called an edge irregular total k-labelling of G if for any two different edges e and f of G there is, wt(e)≠wt(f). The total edge irregularity strength denoted by tes G is the smallest positive integer k for which G has an edge irregular total k-labelling. In this paper, we consider the total edge irregularity strength of Bermuda Triangle graph and the union isomorphic and non isomorphic Bermuda Triangle graph. We show that tes(〖Btr〗_(n,4) )= ⌈(30n+17)/3⌉, for n≥1, tes(〖sBtr〗_(n,4) )=⌈(s(30n+15)+ 2)/3⌉, for n≥1 and s≥2, and tes(〖Btr〗_(n,4)∪〖Btr〗_(m,4) )=⌈((30n+15)+ (30m+15)+ 2)/3⌉, for 1≤n≤m.
