Abstract

Pakcoy crop (Brassica rapa L.) is included in the type of vegetable mustard which is quite economical. Today, pakcoy crop used by the community in various cuisines. This crop is quite easy to cultivate and only takes a short time of about 3 to 4 weeks. The purpose of this study to obtain data on the growth response and production of pakcoy crops on the application of organic fertilizer chicken manure and organic fertilizer cow urine liquid and can be a combination between the two treatments. This research was conducted at the Experimental Farm Faculty of Agriculture, University Medan Area, Kolam street No. 1 Medan Estate districts Percut Sei Tuan with a height of 20 meters above sea level (asl) in the months of October to December 2016. This research has been done by using factorial randomized block design consisting of two factor. The first factor treatment which tested is organic fertilizer chicken manure is A0= Control (without organic fertilizer chicken manure); A1= fertilizer chicken manure 1 kg/m2; A2= fertilizer chicken manure 2 kg/m2 dan A3= fertilizer chicken manure 3 kg/m2. The second factor tested is POC concentration of cow urine is : S0= Control (without cow urine); S1= 30 ml urin sapi / L of water ; S2= 60 ml urin sapi / L of water dan S3= 90 ml urin sapi / L of water. The results showed that organic fertilizer chicken manure treatment had significant effect on the parameters of plant height from age 2 MST to 4 MST  wet weight per sample. the best treatment is A3 (3kg/plot).

Abstract

North Sumatra Province is a province that has a potential horticulture sector, which is a large chili plant, which is a long-term development program for 2016-2045, which was delivered at the Agricultural Development Planning Consultation (Musrenbangtan). Commodities priority becomes the main focus is the development of horticultural commodities chili, onion and garlic. This can be seen in the data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to find out which regency is the base for large chili plants in North Sumatra Province. The analytical method used is, Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis with the data used in this study is secondary data. The planting area of large chilli plants and the production of large chili plants during the last ten years from 2007 to 2016. The results of the Location Quotient (LQ) Analysis show that the sector of the base for large chilli planting area has 5 highest districts, namely, Batu-Bara Regency, Phak-paak Bharat Regency, Dairi Regency, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Padang Lawas Regency. there are 5 highest chilli production base sectors, namely. District of Phak-pak Bharat, Batu Bara Regency, Mandailing Natal District, Langkat Regency and Nias Regency.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the use of Trichoderma sp. to control shallots tuber (Allium ascalonicum L.). The research was conducted at Growth Center, Jl. Peradilan Tata Usaha Negara No. 1 Kenangan Baru, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, 25 meters above sea level (asl). The design used was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors, namely the factors of administration of Trichoderma sp. Consists of 5 levels, namely: T0: Control (without Trichoderma sp.), T1: 10 g Trichoderma sp./polybag, T2: 20 g Trichoderma sp./polybag, T3: 30 g Trichoderma sp./polybag, T4: 40 g Trichoderma sp./polybag. and time of giving Trichoderma sp. Consists 2 levels, namely: W1: Trichoderma sp. given 1 week before planting, and W2: 1 week after planting with 10 treatments combination. Observations included plant height (cm), number of leaves per clump (strands), number of tillers per clump (tuber), tuber wet weight per sample (g), tuber dry weight per sample (g), and the percentage of tuber rot attack. The results showed that: 1). The use of Trichoderma sp. with various doses (T0, T1, T2, T3, and T4) significant effect on plant height but no effect on observed other. While application time of Trichoderma sp. 1 week after planting (W2) showed a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers. also significantly affected wet weight, dry weight, and the percentage of tuber rot attack. 2). The combination of the two treatment factors had no significant effect on all observed parameters.

Abstract

The demand of oyster mushroom has increased. Hence the production should be improved as well. The purpose of research is to know the growth response and production of several varieties of oyster mushroom on the powder media of palm stem waste and sawdust. Research conducted in Sumatra mushroom oyster cultivation. The design used in this study is a Complete Random Design (CRD) factorial that is of 2 factors. The first factor is the composition of the planting media of palm oil and sawdust was conducted with 2 repeats. The Parameter of observation on the study is the percentage of baglogs covered by mycelium (%), the growth of mycelium on the substrate (cm), the age of the body of the fruit (DAI), Number of fruit body (fruit), diameter of the hood (cm2) The stem length of the fruit body (cm) and the wet Harvest weight (g). The results showed that the best treatment for the growth of mycelium and the age of fruit body in total saw dust amd and varieties jamur tiram 58.38 days formation of the first fruit body.

Abstract

The research was conducted in farm experiment faculty of agriculture, the University of Medan Area The research was done by using the method of random designs that the group 's group (RAK) are composed of two treatment factors, those are: 1) Mixed of baglog compostwith cows manure (notation B) 2) Organic fertilizer, liquid waste of palm(notation K) consisting of 4 treatments, are Ko= without treatment, K1=liquid waste 50 ml/l/plants, K2=chemicals 75ml/l/plants, K3= liquid waste 100 ml/l/plants. Every treatment repeated as much as two times. The parameters in this study is focus on the diameter of steam (cm), flowering age (day), total of pods/plants (fruits), long pods/plants (cm), thick/ plants (g), and production/plot (kg). The conclusion of this study as follows: 1) giving the mixed Baglog compost with cows manure had no real effects to the diameter of steam, total pods per plants, long pods/plants, thick and plants, and productions/plot but it had real effects to flowering age. 2) giving thePOC liquid waste ofpalms had the real effects to the diameter of steam 5 MST ages, flowering age, total pods per plants, long pods per plants, thick per plants, and production. And 3) the combination both of factors had real effects to long pods per plants, and production per plot, but had no real effects to the others parameters.

Abstract

Hutan Mangrove Langsa adalah sebuah taman nasional yang terletak di kota Kuala Langsa, yang berada di kawasan lindung. Hutan Mangrove Langsa memiliki luas sekitar 8.000 hektare dan merupakan salah satu hutan mangrove terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Secara ekonomi, ekosistem mangrove berfungsi sebagai sumber mata pencaharian, bahan bangunan, pewarna, dan makanan. Saat ini salah satu bentuk kegiatan masyarakat (Kelompok Kuala Maju) dalam memanfaatkan hutan mengrove secara berkelanjutan yakni memanfaatkan mangrove menjadi olahan makanan seperti kerupuk, Sirup, Dodol dan Selai. Namun, setelah produk makanan dengan bahan dasar buah mangrove ini dibuat, terdapat permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok tersebut khususnya produk makanan yang dibuat belum memiliki HaKI (Hak Kekayaan Intelektual), rendahnya pengetahuan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dalam Design dan Packaging produk yang lebih baik, serta rendahnya pengetahuan SDM dalam memasarkan produk secara lebih luas. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melakukan pendampingan Kelompok Kuala Maju dalam mengembangkan usaha makan dengan berbahan dasar buah mangrove agar dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui peningkatan produksi dan pangsa pasar dengan tetap mempertahankan konservasi kawasan hutan mengrove. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu melakukan sosialisasi dan pendampingan serta pendampingan dalam pembuatan HaKI, Desain dan Packaing, dan media pemasaran. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan bermanfaat bagi pembangunan ekonomi lokal, Peningkatkan Pendapaatan Asli Desa, bertambahnya pengetahuan SDM, dan memberi harapan baru masyarakat untuk mendiri, kreatif serta inovatif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya.

Abstract

Model dinamik pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove di Pantai Timur Sumatera Utara Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui produktivitas ekosistem mangrove melalui produksi serasah yang terdiri dari potensi produksi perikanan melalui pendekatan produksi serasah mangrove, menghitung nilai nilai ekosistem mangrove dari potensi perikanan produksi serasah mangrove, perikanan budidaya tambak silvofishery, dan perikanan tangkap serta menentukan model dinamik nilai ekosistem mangrove untuk perikanan budidaya tambak silvofishery dan perikanan tangkap. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-Desember 2023, dengan lokasi pengambilan sampel di Kabupaten Langkat, Deli Serdang dan Serdang Bedagai. Data yang diperlukan meliputi karakteristik vegetasi mangrove, parameter fisika dan kimia lingkungan perairan, produksi serasah mangrove, data sosial ekonomi terkait pemanfaatan ekosistem mangrove, dan data sekunder. Potensi perikanan yang didukung oleh mangrove dihitung dengan metode yang dikembangkan oleh Mahmudi (2008), nilai perikanan budidaya dan tangkap diperoleh melalui pendekatan surplus konsumen. Berdasarkan penelitian, produksi serasah mangrove yang terdiri dari Avicennia marina, Avicennia alba, Rhizophora mucronata dan Sonneratia alba mencapai 3,67 g/m2/hari atau 13.282 kg/ha/thn. Potensi perikanan  budidaya tambak (udang) sebesar 91833 ton/th dan perikanan tangkap sebesar 8756 ton/th. Hasil simulasi model pada kondisi eksisting (rehabilitasi mangrove 0.7 ha/th), nilai total pemanfaatan mangrove tidak berkelanjutan karena terus mengalami penurunan. Sedangkan rehabilitasi mangrove minimal di atas 2.27 ha/th menghasilkan nilai ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Rehabilitasi mangrove juga perlu memperhatikan komposisi jenis mangrove untuk menghasilkan potensi perikanan tangkap yang dapat didukung mangrove secara optimal sehingga dapat meningkatkan nilai total pemanfaatan mangrove..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kualitas pelayanan BAZNAS Kota Bandung persepsi Mustahik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dengan sampel sebanyak 404 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan, yaitu Metode Pengukuran Indeks Kepuasan Pelayanan Publik dan Service Quality (SERVQUAL). Hasil Perhitungan Indeks Kualitas Pelayanan BAZNAS Kota Bandung berdasarkan persepsi Mustahik sebesar 85,61 sesuai PERMENPAN No 14 2017 angka tersebut berada pada posisi “Sangat Baik”. Secara umum Mustahik menilai pelayanan BAZNAS Kota Bandung dalam mengelola dan mendistribusikan dianggap cukup memuaskan. Indeks kepuasan Mustahik terhadap BAZNAS Kota Bandung “Sangat Baik”. Hampir semua indikator pengukuran kepuasan mustahik mendapat skor di atas 4,00 atau baik sekali. Skor tertinggi untuk elemen kepuasan mustahik dicapai oleh indikator A3 dari jaminan (assurance) sebesar 4,43 atau sangat baik. Hanya satu indikator yang mendapat nilai di bawah 4,00 yaitu pada tampilan fisik (tangibility) yaitu sebesar 3,98 atau baik dari skala 5.

Abstract

The rampant planting and expansion of oil palm plantations and the construction of charcoal kitchens in Langkat Regency has caused damage to mangroves around the coast, which have the status of protected forest areas. The aim of this research is to examine the impact of mangrove damage and the potential for ecotourism development in an effort to find solutions for conservation efforts and poverty alleviation of fishermen and to study socio-economic obstacles to developing ecotourism so that mangrove damage does not continue. This research is in the form of qualitative and quantitative descriptive. This research was conducted in the Mangrove Ecotourism area in Beras Basah Village, Pangkalan Susu District, Langkat Regency, a sample of 82 residents was used. The analysis technique used in this research is two regression models looking at the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable, namely the poverty rate and unemployment rate. The results of this research show that mangrove damage, the number of charcoal kitchens and the number of fish catches partially influence the poverty rate and unemployment rate in the Beras Basah Mangrove Ecotourism Area. Ecotourism is the right solution to maintain the mangrove ecosystem while improving the economic level of the Langkat community, especially the Beraswet Village.

Abstract

Dua kegiatan pembelajaran utama dalam kurikulum merdeka adalah kegiatan kokurikuler seperti proyek penguatan profil siswa Pancasila, yang mengacu pada standar kompetensi lulusan yang harus dimiliki peserta didik dan kegiatan intrakurikuler yang mengacu pada capaian pembelajaran yang harus dicapai siswa pada setiap mata pelajaran (Amalia, Sulastri, and Nurjayadi, n.d.). Ketimpangan akses dan kesenjangan digital menjadi masalah serius yang dapat menghambat implementasi kurikulum Merdeka. Efektivitas kurikulum dipengaruhi tidak hanya oleh desainnya tetapi juga oleh manajemen perubahan dan taktik yang digunakan untuk membantu unit pendidikan dan guru dalam mempraktikkannya, oleh karena itu perencana kebijakan harus menyadari kompleksitas. Kesenjangan atau ketimpangan digital dan akses yang tidak merata adalah masalah utama yang mungkin menghambat penerapan kurikulum Merdeka (Armando, Faizah, and Prawesti 2023). Kurikulum Merdeka berpotensi menjadi sarana pengajaran inovatif yang meningkatkan sistem pendidikan Indonesia, khususnya di Provinsi Banten, sesuai analisis yang dilakukan. Kurikulum Merdeka, yang menekankan pada pertumbuhan kreativitas, kemandirian, dan kewirausahaan siswa, dapat berkontribusi pada produksi generasi yang lebih siap untuk memenuhi tantangan kontemporer. Namun masih ada kendala dengan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, seperti kesiapan guru dan infrastruktur yang memadai. Dengan demikian, untuk menuai manfaat sebesar-besarnya bagi pendidikan Indonesia, Kurikulum Merdeka harus terus dinilai dan ditingkatkan
