Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying leaves quite a lasting psychological impact and seems to be a nightmare for a person's life, especially for victims, especially those who do not have good social adjustments and are rather slow in adapting to their environment. The negative impact experienced by someone who has been a victim of bullying is the main locus and becomes an accentuation and will be elaborated more deeply by researchers. This type of research is qualitative research carried out by observing phenomena that often occur in the campus environment. At least policy holders are able to provide strategic steps as a form of adult responsibility for the psychological and academic development of the nation's future generation. This type of research is qualitative research carried out by observing phenomena that often occur in the campus environment, linked to existing theories as a result of previous research and will be explained in descriptive form. The results of this research are an applicable form of preventing bullying in the campus environment, considering that the campus is one of the laboratories producing Indonesia's next generation.

Abstract

This study focuses on speech act on facebook chat. The purposes of this study are to identify the types of speech act and describe the functions of each type of the speech act on facebook chat. This study employed descriptive qualitative research in which the researcher uses observation and documentation and methods to collect data. The data of this research is written utterances on Facebook chats. The results of this study show that from 90 data the researcher finds five types of speech act. There are 20 data or 22% from representatives, 18 data or 20% from directives, 15 data or 17% from commissives, 26 data or 29% from expressive, and 11 data or 12% from declarations. Each type of speech act on Facebook chat has its function. Representatives act have functions describing, asserting, and informing; directives act has functions commanding, requesting, inviting, forbidding, suggesting; commissives act have functions promising, threatening, offering; expressives act have functions thanking, apologizing, welcoming, and congratulating; and declarations act have function declaring.

Abstract

Reinforcing steel and concrete are components commonly used in construction projects for multi-storey buildings, bridges, houses and so on. Reinforcing steel can be made using a rolling or rolling process. In the rolling process, high vibration often occurs, especially in the finishing mill area which works at a speed of 18-21 m/s with a motor rotation of 1000 – 1300 rpm. Damage occurred to the spindle support, stand and missroll (rolling process failure). The expected RMS value of vibration speed is <20mm/s. This research aims to identify the damage that occurs and reduce or dampen the vibrations that occur. The research results show that after 3 (three) repairs were carried out, the first repair was replacing the Universal Joint Shaft, as well as changing the cross joint type to the SWC type and changing the spline design, the second repair was replacing the liner using Shore A95 polyurethane material, the third repair was replacing the ring. Chock Spindle uses shore A 90 polyurethane material. The RMS value of vibration speed can be reduced to between 19.1 – 26.3 mm/s. The main factor that arises from high vibrations is mechanical looseness due to lack of lubrication in machine parts which rub continuously while the machine is rotating.

Abstract

The second flash flood in Ten Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency occurred in the same place in Lembah Anai Village. The large water discharge and high flow speed caused the river to overflow and worried the residents living around the river. This was due to the very high intensity of rain in the river catchment area of ​​Lembah Anai Village which fell an hour earlier. This flash flood condition is a historic phenomenon because this is the second time. The first flash flood occurred in the Anai Valley. In 1892, the Anai Valley was also hit by a major flood. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method by making a comparative study of rivers in the Sepuluh Koto District area. The research results show that the river morphology in Lembah Anai Village has the highest catchment area of ​​400 meters above sea level (MDPL), which is the widest of the surrounding rivers and decreases in the downstream area of ​​20-meter MDPL. The highest order of average bandang potential scores is first, namely the Lembah Anai Village River, second to the Kayutanam Village River, and third to the Sicincin River. The disruption of transportation routes disrupted food supplies. Ingredients such as vegetables, potatoes and meat cannot be sent through the Anai Valley. As a result, all foodstuffs in the cities of Padang and Bukittinggi experienced price increases for months because reconstruction efforts were long and expensive.

Abstract

Based on literature studies and researcher observations, the problems encountered in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum are reflected in the difficulty of changing teachers' mindsets, changing the learning process from teacher centered to student centered, low spiritual morals, low reading and research culture, lack of mastery of technology by teachers, weak mastery. in the field of administration, the tendency of teachers to emphasize more on cognitive aspects, there are still many teachers who do not want to become human learners, a teacher is required to continue to increase knowledge and broaden his horizons, especially after the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. These problems make the 2013 curriculum difficult for some schools to accept, including high schools spread across Padang City. Similar to other regions, Padang City also complained about learning based on the 2013 curriculum. One of the subjects affected by this curriculum change was geography.  As is the case in high school (SMA), geography learning has been given specifically since the first grade of school, while in grades two and three geography learning is only given to students who choose the Social Sciences major. The KTSP problem can be seen from the lack of creativity of teachers who are trusted as educators.

Abstract

Mount Merapi, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra is one of the active volcanoes in Indonesia, especially on the island of Sumatra. One of the dangers posed by active volcanoes after an eruption is cold lava. Merapi Volcano has many rivers that originate at the top of Merapi, such as Bukik Batabuah, Pua River, several rivers in Batipuah District. Cold lava is a secondary disaster that cannot be underestimated because the impact it causes is just as big as a primary disaster if it is not handled properly. This research was carried out by direct observation of the disaster area, namely the foot of Mount Marapi with purposive sampling. Therefore, it is necessary to map the areas affected by cold lava. The area affected by the lava flow was modeled and simulated by means of spatial analysis using the parameters of the volume of the lava flow, the starting point of the river, and the slope of the slope, with the aim of finding out how fast the lava flows towards the settlement. From the aftermath of the Mount Marapi disaster, the distribution of areas that have the potential for pyroclastic material to pass through, especially in river areas that originate at Volcano. The results of the distribution of affected land use and residential areas with a volume of 100 million m3 covering an area of ​​26,815 Ha. The widest distribution is in the rice field area of ​​12,475 Ha, the residential area of ​​6,745 Ha, the garden area of ​​5,264 Ha and the field area of ​​3,330 Ha.

Abstract

Peran Director of Photography (DoP) dalam film dokumenter sangat penting dalam mengemas narasi menjadi bahasa visual melalui unsur-unsur sinematografi seperti camera angle, camera movement, type of shot, dan komposisi. Penulisan laporan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan keempat unsur tersebut dalam karya film dokumenter “Tanah dan Waktu” yang mengangkat tema eksistensi seni keramik di Indonesia. Metode penciptaan yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa unsur sinematografi diterapkan secara konsisten untuk memperkuat pesan visual dan mendukung narasi dokumenter, seperti penggunaan camera angle yang terdiri dari eye level, high angle, dan low angle untuk membangun perspektif visual terhadap objek, camera movement yang terdiri dari panning, tilting, tracking, dan still/static shot untuk menciptakan dinamika dalam cerita, type of shot yang terdiri dari long shot, medium shot, close up, dan extreme close up untuk mengarahkan perhatian penonton terhadap detail atau konteks ruang, serta komposisi yang melibatkan rule of thrids untuk menyeimbangkan elemen visual dalam setiap frame. Simpulan dari laporan ini menyatakan bahwa penerapan unsur sinematografi secara tepat dapat meningkatkan kualitas penyampaian pesan dalam dokumenter, sekaligus memberikan pengalaman visual yang lebih komunikatif dan estetik.

Abstract

This article analyzes about women’s information seeking behavior with fashion needs. The aim of the research is to recognize the information seeking behavior of woman for fashion needs, at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of Padjajaran University. The paradigm of this study is post-positivism with a quantitative approach. The method used is correlational with Pearson’s product-moment correlation statistic test. The population of this study are 92 people with accidental sampling technique. The result of this study concludes that the information seeking behavior of women is moderately related with fashion needs. The constantly developing fashion needs requires woman to search for information which will later form an information seeking behavior based on the intensity of media use.

Abstract

Tanaman kelapa sawit sangat berpotensi dikembangkan dan diusahakan di Provinsi Sulawesi Barat, khususnya di Kabupaten Pasangkayu. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pendapatan usahatani kelapa sawit di Desa Pedanda Kecamatan Pedongga Kabupaten Pasangkayu. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pedanda pada bulan Maret­­­-Juni 2021. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah petani kelapa sawit yang di tentukan dengan menggunakan metode acak sederhana (simple random sampling) dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 33 petani kelapa sawit. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis pendapatan usahatani. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jumlah produksi 64.000 kg/2,7 ha/ tahun atau 24.000 kg/2,7 ha/bulan dengan harga jual tandan buah segar Rp. 1.500, total biaya Rp. 32.579.408/2,7 ha/tahun atau Rp. 12.217.278/2,7 ha/bulan dan penerimaan Rp. 96,000,000/2,7 ha/tahun atau 36.000.000/2,7 ha/bulan, sehingga pendapatan yang diterima petani kelapa sawit adalah Rp.63.420.592/2,7 ha/tahun atau Rp. 23.782.722/2,7 ha/bulan.

Abstract

Banjir memiliki kerentanan dan ancaman yang sangat berbahaya bagi keselamatan jiwa dan harta benda. Banjir salah satu bencana yang sering terjadi di Indonesia, tidak terkecuali pada Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Dampak yang dapat ditimbulkan dari bencana banjir ini sangat berbahaya seperti kerusakan fasilitas publik, kerusakan rumah, menimbulkan kerugian ekonomi, kesulitan air bersih, menimbulkan masalah Kesehatan, menimbulkan korban jiwa, akibat banjur dan gelodo sehingga melumpuhkan aktivitas masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mensosialisasi kesiapsiagaan mitigasi bencana banjir kepada masyarakat di Kecamatan Ranah Ampek Hulu Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Ceramah yaitu Metode dengan cara memberikan materi pengetahuan dan pemahaman terhadap mitigasi bencana pada Masyarakat Kampung Binjai. Hasil penelitian Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan di lingkungan masyarakat binjai menanggulangi masalah bencana banjir, menjadikan masyarakat dapat mengetahui secara kompleks atau luas dalam mencegahnya atau menanggulangi bencana banjir. Hasilnya yaitu berupa kegiatan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai mitigasi bencana. tingkat kesiapsiagaan bencana alam banjir. Kesimpulan yang dapat dikemukakan bahwa pada saat sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai mitigasi bencana terdapatnya peningkatan dalam bentuk presentase baik dalam pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan walaupun ada beberapa item pertanyaan yang menunjukkan presentase kurang baik/kurang siap pada sikap dan keterampilan. Sebaiknya frekuensi edukasi dapat dilakukan secara terus menerus agar dapat meningkatan kesiapan dan keterampilan dalam menghadapi bencana banjir oleh masyarakat sekitar. Serta kesiapsiagaan melibatkan Pemerintah Daerah terkhusus Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD).
