Abstract

Background: Breast cancer patients frequently experience wound complications following surgery, radiotherapy, or disease progression, which may negatively affect healing outcomes, comfort, and quality of life. Modern dressing technologies have been developed to improve wound management through antimicrobial, hemostatic, protective, and moisture-balancing properties. Objective: This systematic review aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of modern dressings in wound care for breast cancer patients by synthesizing current clinical evidence on infection prevention, radiation dermatitis control, bleeding management, symptom relief, and patient-centered outcomes. Methods: This study employed a systematic literature review design following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and Google Scholar for studies published between 2013 and 2023 in English and Indonesian. Eligible studies included randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental, and prospective clinical studies examining modern dressing or topical interventions in breast cancer wound care. Data extraction and risk of bias assessment were performed independently by two reviewers, and findings were synthesized narratively due to methodological heterogeneity. Results: Eleven studies met the inclusion criteria. Modern dressings demonstrated effectiveness in reducing surgical site infections, minimizing radiation dermatitis severity, controlling bleeding and exudate, reducing bacterial colonization, and improving patient comfort. Several interventions also showed positive effects on wound malodor reduction and quality of life improvement. Overall findings suggest that modern dressings provide multidimensional benefits in clinical and psychosocial aspects of wound management in breast cancer patients. Conclusion: Modern dressing strategies represent effective interventions for improving wound healing outcomes and patient well-being in breast cancer care. Integration of evidence-based dressing technologies into clinical practice may enhance both physiological recovery and holistic patient comfort, although further high-quality research is recommended to strengthen clinical guidelines.

Abstract

Background: Limitations in cognitive and motor skills make these children more dependent on external support, particularly from their families. Family involvement is therefore considered an important factor in promoting independence and improving oral hygiene behaviors among children with intellectual disabilities. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between family support and the level of independence of children with intellectual disabilities in maintaining dental and oral hygiene at home. Methods: This study employed a literature review design following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guideline. A systematic search was conducted in several scientific databases, including Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and PubMed, using combinations of keywords related to family support, oral hygiene, intellectual disability, and children with special needs. Articles published between 2020 and 2025 were screened based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The quality of the selected studies was evaluated using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) tool. Results: Ten studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in the analysis. The findings consistently indicated a strong positive relationship between family involvement and the oral hygiene status of children with intellectual disabilities. Parental education, supervision, and training programs were shown to significantly improve children’s tooth-brushing behavior, reduce plaque accumulation, and enhance oral hygiene practices at home. However, several barriers were identified, including limited parental knowledge, inadequate supervision, and the motor and behavioral limitations experienced by children with intellectual disabilities. Conclusion: Family support plays a crucial role in improving the independence of children with intellectual disabilities in maintaining dental and oral hygiene at home. Strengthening family-based education, parental training, and supportive home-care interventions may enhance oral health outcomes and improve the overall quality of life of children with intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Social Studies (IPS) education in shaping and developing tolerance attitudes among eighth-grade students at SMPN 6 Garut, as well as to identify the obstacles faced in its implementation. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data were collected from various sources, including books, scientific journals, and research articles related to social studies education and the development of tolerance attitudes. The data collection technique used content analysis, while data analysis was conducted by reviewing, comparing, and synthesizing relevant literature. The results indicate that Social Studies education plays a significant role in developing students' tolerance attitudes through understanding social diversity, interaction in the learning process, and the integration of character values such as empathy, cooperation, and mutual respect. The teacher’s role as a facilitator and role model is also crucial in shaping students' tolerance attitudes. In addition, a supportive school environment contributes to the internalization of tolerance values. However, several obstacles were identified in its implementation, including differences in students' backgrounds, the influence of social media, limited variation in teaching methods, and the lack of optimal integration of character education in Social Studies learning. To overcome these challenges, several efforts are required, such as implementing more interactive and varied teaching methods, improving teachers' competencies, creating an inclusive school culture, and strengthening collaboration between schools and parents. In conclusion, Social Studies education has an important role in fostering students' tolerance attitudes, but it requires integrated support to achieve optimal outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of TikTok use on students' social behavior using a quantitative approach and survey method. The research instrument, a questionnaire, was distributed to students who are active TikTok users. Descriptive analysis shows that TikTok has become part of students' digital routines, used both for entertainment and as a source of information. This platform also encourages creativity, expands social interactions, and makes it easier for students to connect with communities with similar interests. However, the study also found negative impacts such as changes in communication styles, increased imitation of certain trends, disruptions in learning time management, and a tendency to compare themselves with other creators. The research findings indicate that although TikTok appears to influence social behavior descriptively, this influence is not strong enough to be considered statistically significant. Thus, students' social behavior is more influenced by other factors such as family environment, social experiences, and individual character. This study concludes that TikTok has a non-uniform and non-dominant influence on students' social behavior. Therefore, digital literacy efforts and adequate mentoring are needed so that students can utilize TikTok positively and avoid negative impacts that could potentially affect their social and academic development.

Abstract

Background: Digital transformation has fundamentally changed the global business landscape and the strategic direction of modern organizations. Therefore, this study aims to identify the transformation of organizational models and structures in the digital era. Method: The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review with research stages following the PRISMA approach. The research data consists of 30 articles sourced from Google Scholar, Elsevier/ScienceDirect, and Garuda Dikti, covering the period 2020–2025. Results: The findings indicate that organizational models and structures in the digital era are shifting from traditional hierarchical forms to adaptive, collaborative, and agile structures that enable rapid responses to environmental changes. Digital leadership and organizational culture emerge as key success factors, with leaders acting as agents of change and an innovative culture supporting the internalization of values such as collaboration and continuous learning. The study further found that digital capabilities including digital platforms, AI, and data analytics play a dual role as catalysts for efficiency and drivers of innovation, improving data-driven decision-making and overall organizational performance. An effective digital transformation strategy requires integrated management of digital maturity, adaptive governance, and change risk management, enabling organizations to balance operational efficiency with continuous innovation. Conclusion: This research confirms that organizational transformation in the digital era is an adaptive process that requires synergy between structure, culture, leadership, digital capabilities, and strategy to achieve long-term success.

Abstract

The halal industry in Indonesia faces a dual imperative: meeting Islamic ethical standards while addressing growing environmental sustainability demands. Despite extensive quantitative research linking Green Human Resource Management (GHRM), Green Knowledge Sharing (GKS), and Organizational Citizenship Behavior for the Environment (OCBE) to Employee Green Performance (EGP), the social processes underlying EGP formation in values-based Islamic organizations remain theoretically underdeveloped. This paper proposes a conceptual framework grounded in Grounded Theory methodology to theorize how EGP is constructed through the interplay of GHRM, GKS, and OCBE, moderated by Green Prophetic Leadership (GPL) in the halal industry of West Java, Indonesia. Drawing on Resource-Based View (RBV) and Social Exchange Theory (SET) as sensitizing concepts, we develop five theoretical propositions and a substantive model organized around the core category of prophetically-anchored green identity construction. This framework contributes to the emerging discourse on Islamic organizational behavior and green management, offering context-sensitive theoretical alternatives to variance-based models dominant in current sustainability management research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between perceptions of gender inequality and the learning motivation of eighth-grade students in Social Studies (IPS) at SMP Wiraguna Limbangan Garut. The issue of gender equality in educational settings remains an important concern, as differences in treatment, perspectives, and stereotypes based on gender can influence students’ learning processes and motivation to participate in classroom activities. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews involving students, Social Studies teachers, and school counselors to obtain a comprehensive understanding of students’ perceptions of gender inequality within the school environment. The findings indicate that most students have a fairly good understanding of the concept of gender equality and perceive that the school has provided relatively equal opportunities for both male and female students in learning activities and other school-related programs. However, gender stereotypes were still identified, particularly in the distribution of group tasks, expectations regarding academic abilities, and perceptions of students’ characteristics based on gender. The study also found that fair treatment, an inclusive learning environment, and equal opportunities in the classroom contribute significantly to increasing students’ self-confidence, active participation, and learning motivation in Social Studies. Therefore, continuous efforts from the school are needed to strengthen gender-responsive education in order to create a more equitable learning environment and to support the optimal development of all students.
