Abstract

This paper aims to explain the phenomenon of the fragility of the concept of ethnic identity in a multicultural society. Ethnic identity does not exclusively refer to something that is permanently attached to an individual. Rather, it also has to do with something that experiences development and transformation on the basis of the individual’s religious belief (religion). Indeed, ethnic identity oftentimes is associated with differences in race, religion, birthplace, and historical background. These differences, however, do not mater when individuals convert to Islam. Conversion to Islam as a consequence affects the extent to which individuals’ different ethnic identity is recognized as part of other ethnic identities. We conducted this study among ethnic Dayaks, Malays and Chinese in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Data were obtained by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The main finding of the study reveals that ethnic backgrounds did not play a convincing role in the practice of multilateral social interactions. In this context, ethno-religious similarity more so than other factors easily unite members of ethnic groups. Here then lies the cycle of ethnicity that has returned to the classical phase wherein ethnic formation is not only determined by historical background, territory, and blood relations, but also religion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat berbasis Karya Ilmiah (PKM-KI) yang diselenggarakan oleh Pascasarjana IAIN Pontianak dalam bentuk Workshop Literasi Berbasis Moderasi Beragama. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dilatarbelakangi pentingnya menumbuhkan kepekaan dan kesadaran masyarakat terutama pada mahasiswa di lingkungan STIT Darul Ulum Kubu Raya terhadap munculnya dinamika faktual di tengah masyarakat multikultural terkait moderasi beragama. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh peneliti berasal dari instrumen penelitian berupa: wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan tersebut kemudian direduksi, untuk selanjutnya dilakukan proses penyajian (display data) serta dilakukan verifikasi berupa simpulan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat berbasis Karya Ilmiah (PKM-KI) dalam bentuk Workshop Literasi Berbasis Moderasi Beragama dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan para peserta pelatihan mengenai isu-isu terkait moderasi beragama serta turut berkontribusi dalam menambah pengetahuan mereka terhadap program literasi serta penulisan karya tulis ilmiah.

Abstract

The number of private universities in Indonesia is more than universities in the most populous country in the world, but it is not accompanied by good quality. This research is an empirical study with a descriptive, qualitative research approach. Technical data collection through documents, and observations of the process of unification of STAI and Muhammadiyah University. The unification of these two institutions is in one foundation, namely Muhammadiyah. In this merger process, the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religion are involved. The Chairperson of the Association of Indonesian Private Universities strongly supports the merging of two or more universities to reduce the number, facilitate coaching, and improve the quality of higher education. The first merger process was carried out by the Ministry of Education and Culture after the filing and visitation procedures were completed in writing and the visit of the LLDIKTI chairman followed by submission to DIKTIS (Directorate of Islamic Higher Education). This article aims to prove empirically about the implementation of the Ministry of Education and Culture's policies and the Decree of the Directorate of Islamic Higher Education regarding the merger of two or more universities, 2) information that the merging process of PTKAI and PTU is not easy.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi antara tradisi dan teknologi dalam konteks pembelajaran Fiqh dengan pemanfaatan artificial intelligence ChatGPT. Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, metode pembelajaran yang tradisional kini dapat diperkaya dengan pendekatan digital untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan keterlibatan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menganalisis bagaimana ChatGPT dapat diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum Fiqh. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ChatGPT dapat menjadi alat yang berguna untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Fiqh, memberikan respons cepat terhadap pertanyaan peserta didik, dan mendorong diskusi yang mendalam tentang topik-topik tertentu. Namun, penggunaan ChatGPT juga harus disertai dengan pendampingan dari pengajar yang kompeten untuk memastikan integritas informasi dan kesesuaian dengan pendekatan pembelajaran Fiqh yang tradisional. Kesimpulannya, meskipun ada tantangan dalam integrasi teknologi dan tradisi, pemanfaatan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran Fiqh menawarkan potensi yang signifikan untuk memperkaya proses pembelajaran dan mengembangkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang Fiqh dalam era digital saat ini.   Kata kunci: Integrasi, Tradisi, Teknologi, Fiqh, dan ChatGPT

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the validity, reliability, level of difficulty, differentiating power, and effectiveness of checkers on the final test of the odd semester of PABP subject in class V SDN 03 East Pontianak in the 2023/2024 academic year. Using a quantitative approach, this study analysed data using IBM SPSS Statistics 23. This study involved 30 class V students as participants. The results of the analysis of 30 multiple choice items showed that 73% were valid and 27% were invalid. From the reliability aspect, it was found that the reliability level of the items was high, namely the r coefficient of 0.899. From the aspect of difficulty level, it was found that about 13% of the items were difficult, about 73% of the items were moderate and 13% of the items were easy. From the aspect of differential power, it was found that about 39% of items were good, about 42% of items were sufficient, about 19% of items were not good. And from the aspect of eliminators, it was found that about 89% were accepted, about 8% were revised and about 3% were rejected.

Abstract

Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer (ANBK) merupakan sebuah penilaian mutu pendidikan yang berbasis kumputer. Penilaian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari jenjang Menengah Atas, Menengah Pertama, dan sekolah Dasar. ANBK sendiri merupakan pengganti dari Ujian Nasional (UN) yang di mulai pada tahun 2021 berdasarkan pada peraturan pemerintah No. 57 Tahun 2021 tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan, peraturan Mendikbudristek No. 17 Tahun 2021 tentang Asesmen Nasional tujuan dari Asesmen Nasional ini ialah untuk menemukan sebuah data awal untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pada tahun-tahun berikutnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengetahui lebih dalam mengenai implementasi dari ANBK di SDN 24 Teluk Pakedai di mulai dari persiapan, tanggapan guru, faktor pendukung, penghambat dan sarana prasarana. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Deskriptif dengan pendekatan Kualitatif dengan pengambilan sempel menggunakan Purposive Sampling yaitu sebuah pengambilan semple dengan cara mencari seseorang yang dianggap memahami dan mengetahui mengani data yang akan di teliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sudah siapnya SDN 24 Teluk Pakedai dalam melaksanakan ANBK dengan baik dikarenakan srana dan prasarana tersedia dengan cukup, mulai dari croombook, jaringan internet, daya listrik, ruangan untuk melaksanakan ANBK, SDM sebagai proktor dan teknisi didalam pelaksanaan ANBK.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan proses pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis karya ilmiah yang diadakan oleh Pascasarjana IAIN Pontianak. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pemanfaatan analisis butir soal di KKG PAI yang berlokasikan di SDN 21 Pontianak Timur. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas soal yang dibuat oleh guru PAI terkait validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, efektivitas pengecoh. Sehingga, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas butir soal sehingga benar-benar dapat mengukur keberhasilan tujuan pembelajaran. Laporan kegiatan ini ditulis secara kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif.. Setelah data terkumpul, maka dilakukan analisis. Yakni melalui penyajian data, kondensasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat diketahui bahwa pelatihan dan pemanfaatan analisis butir soal dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan guru-guru PAI tentang bagaimana cara menganalisis butir soal dengan menggunakan microsoft excel dan SPSS. setelah memberikan evaluasi, serta bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas butir soal agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai dengan baik. Dengan begitu guru-guru dengan mudah menerapkannya secara mandiri pada satuan tempat mengajarnya masing-masing.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the utilization of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in a more innovative manner for implementation in elementary schools. This approach is designed to enhance students' understanding of key PBL concepts and improve their critical thinking skills. The research methodology employed includes literature analysis and case studies from several elementary schools that implement PBL innovatively. Through literature analysis, fundamental PBL concepts are studied and identified. Subsequently, case studies are conducted in several elementary schools that have implemented PBL with innovative approaches. Data are collected through literature review and document analysis. The research findings indicate that innovative PBL, incorporating technology, collaboration, and authentic assessment, can create a more interactive and engaging learning environment for students. However, challenges faced by teachers in implementing this strategy include a lack of resources, curriculum planning, and adequate training. Therefore, recommendations are proposed to provide greater support for teachers, including additional training and better access to supportive technology. Thus, innovation in project-based learning strategies can enhance the effectiveness of student learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The challenges of the times are increasingly developing so that they become a benchmark for the progress of an educational institution. The principal must provide something new to his educators in schools in the era of increasingly rapid globalization. Visionary leadership is inseparable from the relationship between charismatic leaders in leading in the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0. The purpose of this study explores the role of visionary leadership of principals in improving the pedagogical abilities of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instructors in the era of Society 5.0. This era demands the integration of sophisticated technology in education, which requires an increase in the pedagogical competence of teachers. Through library research, this article identifies effective strategies in the context of visionary leadership to improve the quality of PAI learning. The results of the study indicate that visionary principals play a role in directing and inspiring PAI teachers to utilize technology and innovative learning methods.
