Abstract

Humans are naturally born with a unique identity difference between one self and another. This difference also includes differences in inner spirit and physical form attached to humans which are then classified into the sexes of men and women, as evidence of the greatness of the Creator in realizing His creation of the universe. This difference was not originally to dominate the roles and positions of one another, but rather to complement each other, to share love and so that they both felt at ease. However, the journey of humanity's life in conquering nature and fighting each other in seizing the glory, changing the dominance of roles and positions between men and women. The physical weaknesses of women then deprived them of their rights, so that in the future, women's emancipation is born, a movement to obtain gender justice and equality between men's and women's rights. Among women emancipation figures, Aisyah is a figure that can not only be seen from the religious and spiritual side, but also from various other sides such as politics, economics, and education. Aisha can be said to be the foundation of gender justice and women's emancipation in the world. It is a reflection that the ideal of women's success is not only due to their achievement of happiness in the world, but also the hereafter. Keywords: Aisha, Emancipation and Women Manusia secara kodrati lahir dengan perbedaan identitas yang unik antara diri yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Perbedaan ini juga mencakup perbedaan atas spirit bathiniah dan bentuk fisik yang melekat pada manusia yang kemudian digolongkan atas jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan, sebagai bukti kebesaran sang Pencipta dalam mewujudkan kreasi-Nya atas alam semesta. Perbedaan ini pada awalnya bukanlah untuk saling mendominasi peran dan kedudukan antara satu dengan yang lain, melainkan untuk saling melengkapi, saling berbagi kasih sayang dan agar keduanya cenderung merasa tentram. Namun, perjalanan hidup umat manusia dalam menaklukan alam serta saling brtempur dalam merebut kejayaan, merubah dominasi peran dan kedudukan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Kelemahan perempuan secara fisik kemudian menjadikan hak-hak atas mereka dirampas, sehingga dikemudian hari melahirkan emansipasi perempuan yaitu suatu gerakan untuk memperoleh keadilan gender dan kesetaraan antara hak laki-laki dan perempuan. Diantara tokoh emansipasi perempuan, Aisyah merupakan figur yang tidak hanya dapat dilihat dari sisi religius dan spiritual, namun juga dari berbagai sisi lainnya seperti politik, ekonomi, dan pendidikan. Aisyah dapat dikatakan sebagai peletak dasar keadilan gender dan emansipasi perempuan di dunia. Ia merupakan cerminan bahwa kesuksesan perempuan yang ideal bukan hanya sekedar atas pencapaian mereka akan kebahagian di dunia, melainkan juga akhirat. Kata Kunci: Aisyah, Emansipasi dan Perempuan

Abstract

The existence of lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (in Indonesia known as LGBT) has become a sexual problem ini human’s life. These minority people considerably have a sexual deviance in their life. Therefore, sometimes, they are discriminated and violated by people who dislike their existence. Eventhough, on the other side, every man has an affinity rights in Law. Besides, LGBT is not an epidemic disease in society entirely. Some of them has contributed in the historical event in the past. Thus, through this article, the writer would present the information of LGBT’s life from historical and religious perspective.

Abstract

Human trafficking has globally become the problems which is passed through border area in some countries. The crime does not merely have an impact on social aspects, but also on other aspects such as politics, social, and culture. Therefore, no wonder that the human trafficking case is on the top five of hugest crimes in the world. Then, it is really difficult to wipe out. Furthermore, the efforts to eradicate human trafficking have been undertaken on many ways. One of them is to enforce the strict laws for perpetrators. Nevertheless, this action has been considered ineffective to lessen the human trafficking case, even for some cases, this crime develops more. Moreover, the new model of slavery is still occured and has an effect on Human Rights cases. Therefore, peer education could be one of alternative solutions to fight for human trafficking. It is one of approaches in education using peer groups to educate and share information related to human trafficking.

Abstract

Human trafficking is one of global problems faced by societies in today digital era. The increasing number of victims and criminals, in quality and quantity, has also influenced the number of problems on human rights, social, economics, health, and laws in many countries within the world. Furthermore, human trafficking is a well-organized crime among countries in the world. Indonesia, especially, which has many citizen is also one of targeted country on trafficking crimes. Moreover, there are so many efforts performed to minimize the number of human trafficking in Indonesia. However, most of them are centered on preventive movement after the crime or when the crime is being done, that could not significantly give an effect to the victims after the crime happened. Therefore, the comprehend solution is needed by giving a life-skill training, in order to provide them an ability to create something and being independent in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the political system of education in the reign of the second caliph, Umar ibn Khattab. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a literature study. The process of data collection was conducted through documentation and observation techniques so that the available literature sources then studied, compared, and presented in words by the researcher. The results of the study are that political policies in the early period of Islam helped determine the development and progress of education in the area of the central government to the conquered regions, such as al-Quds (Palestine), Sham, Sassanid (Persia), Egypt and others. The system can be seen from the regulations regarding the appointment of the educators (teachers and lecturers), the emergence of a bilingual learning method, the periodic payment of teacher salaries, and the tiered education system, starting from the basic to the madrasah level. Furthermore, it was noticeable that since the reign of Umar ibn Khattab, access to Islamic education has been widely accessible by society despite the race, social and economic status.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada pesantren khalaf. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menjelaskan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter yang berlaku di pondok pesantren khalaf. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan desain penelitiannya berupa studi kepustakaan (library research). Sedangkan untuk instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan datanya adalah berupa dokumentasi dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter yang dikembangkan di pondok pesantren khalaf terdiri atas 18 nilai-nilai karakter, antara lain:1) religius, 2) jujur, 3) toleransi, 4) disiplin, 5) kerja keras, 6) kreatif, 7) mandiri, 8) demokratis, 9) rasa ingin tahu, 10) semangat kebersamaan, 11) cinta tanah air, 12) menghargai prestasi, 13) bersahabat atau komunikatif, 14) cinta damai, 15) gemar membaca, 16) peduli lingkungan, 17) peduli sosial, dan 18) tanggungjawab. Sedangkan untuk pelaksanaannya dilakukan melalui proses pengajian dan kultur budaya pesantren Selain itu, pendidikan karakter di pondok pesantren khalaf dilakukan melalui proses pembelajaran dan pengembangan diri baik yang terdapat dalam kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler.

Abstract

This paper raises the issue of the death penalty for drug-crime actors in Islamic education perspective, especially when the President Joko Widodo refused to pardon the actors at the beginning of his reign. Although the execution was likely contrary to the wishes of human right instigators, but on the other hand, such punishment is one vehicle in providing education to the citizens as well as the efforts to actualize the law enforcement in Indonesia. The implementation of the death sentence does not touch directly the scope of formal education in Indonesia. However, this is where the emerging hope and the search for enlightenment of such punishment is seen from the eyes of Islamic education which has applied the concept of reward and punishment in its system. Thus, through this paper, it is expected that educators can assist in bridging the imposition of a death sentence as an attempt to form good citizens.

Abstract

Abstract: Social Media is like two sides of the same coin; has positive and negative sides. As for a positive side, it is used to share information, technology and scientific issues as well as maintain social relationship; on the other side, it may be a means of spreading intolerant notions   toward diversity. Furthermore, these notions may become exclusive fundamentalism which is anti-criticism, especially when it contains political, economic, and legal interests, and even worst, if it involves aninterpretation of religious verses. This paper is a library research based on social phenomenology approach which aims to give solution to problems of religious fundamentalism before turning into radicalism and vandalism. There are two possible solutions. Firstly, social media should provide balance information in order to avoid old orientalism prejudice; second, it should show Islam objectively; it should be according to Islamic law not western thought and culture (ghazw al-fikr wa ghazw ats-thaqafi).الملخص: يمكن تشبيه وسائل التواصل الاجتماعية بعملة ذات الوجهين، الايجابية والسلبية. من الجانب الإيجابي فتكون وسائل الإعلام الاجتماعية مكانا لمشاركة المعلومات والتكنولوجيا والمناقشة العلمية ومحلا لصلة الرحم بين مستخدميها في الفضاء السيراني. ومع ذلك، من ناحية أخرى، فقد تجعل هذه الوسائل محلا لغرس المفاهيم الدينية الّلاتسامحية. وإذا اتصل الجانب السلبي المصالحَ السياسية والاقتصاد والقانون وحتى في مجال تفسير النصوص المقدسة فإنه سيُولِد أيدوليجية "الأصولية" (fundamentalism) الحصرية والمعادية للنقد. من خلال المدخل الاجتماعي - الظواهري والدراسة المكتبية (library research) تقدم هذه الورقة البسيطة حلاًّ للتغلب على إشكالية  الأصولية الدينية قبل أن تتطور إلى التطرف والتخريب. فهناك شيأن يمكن القيام بهما للتغلب على المشكلات الموجودة. أولا، أن تتخذ وسائل الإعلام موقفا متوازنا أكثر مايمكن حتى لا تنزلق إلى تحيز المشتشرقين القديم.  ثانيا، لابد أن ينظر الإسلام موضوعيا. وأن يتمسك كلُّ مَن يستخدم وسائل الإعلام الاجتماعية  بمصادر الشريعة الإسلامية وأن يكون حازما ضد الأفكار والثقافة الغربية (غزو الفكر  والثقافي) للتغلب على الآثار السلبية من وسائل الإعلام الاجتماعية الحالية.Abstrak: Media sosial adalah seperti mata uang yang memiliki dua sisi yang sama: sisi positif dan negatif. Sebagai sisi positif, media sosial digunakan untuk berbagi informasi, teknologi dan isu-isu ilmiah serta menjaga hubungan sosial. Di sisi lain, media sosial bisa menjadi sarana untuk menyebarkan gagasan-gagasan intoleran terhadap faham keberagaman. Lebih jauh lagi, gagasan-gagasan ini dapat menjadi fundamentalisme eksklusif yang anti-kritik, terutama ketika mengandung kepentingan politik, ekonomi, dan hukum, dan bahkan akan menjadi lebih buruk, jika melibatkan penafsiran ayat-ayat agama. Tulisan ini merupakan penelitian pustaka berdasarkan pendekatan fenomenologi sosial yang bertujuan memberikan solusi terhadap masalah fundamentalisme agama sebelum berubah menjadi radikalisme dan vandalisme. Ada dua solusi: pertama, media sosial harus menyediakan informasi yang seimbang untuk menghindari prasangka orientalisme lama; kedua, media sosial harus menunjukkan Islam secara obyektif; ia harus sesuai dengan hukum Islam bukan pemikiran dan budaya barat (ghazw al-fikr wa ghazw ats-thaqafi).

Abstract

Technological advances have encouraged the raise of a variety of social media services features which are more and more innovative, interesting, and variative. This technological development impacting in human civilization, especially pertaining to multidimensional as well as multilateral interaction. The benefit of social media was accompanied by the negative side, such as slander, conflict, nation- disintegration, and separatism. This is a qualitative research applying case- study approach. The instruments used in this research are documentation, observation, and library research. The conclusion is that education has an important role in using social media. Otherwise, social media will only be used as the media for committing crime, including disseminating tendentious words, hoax, and propaganda

Abstract

Pada beberapa dekade terakahir, nama Islam sering kali dicatut dengan aksi-aksi gerakan ekstrimis dan teroris yang terjadi diberbagai penjuru dunia. Penggunan nama dan simbol-simbol ajaran agama tersebut tidak hanya berdampak pada pelaku dan korbannya, melainkan juga terhadap pihak-pihal yang justru tidak terlibat maupun tahu menahu akar persoalannya. Sehingga seseorang ataupun kelompok tertentu bisa saja mengalami apa yang disebut dengan collective punishment, dimana seseorang atau kelompoknya dihukum secara kolektif bukan karena kesalahan sendiri, melainkan karena kesalahan orang lain. Korban utama dari collective punishmet ini sebagian besar adalah kaum perempuan dan anak-anak. Mereka adalah sasaran empuk berbagai bentuk tindakan kekerasan fisik maupun psikis, hal ini karena sifat mereka yang cenderung lemah, dan tidak berdaya dalam melakukan perlawanan terhadap serangan yang datang, apa lagi jika dilakukan secara kolektif. Sehingga di tempat-tempat publik seperti lingkungan kerja, lingkungan masyarakat, bahkan di sekolah, perempuan dan anak-anak rentan mengalami collective punishmet mulai dalam bentuk kekerasan verbal, kekerasan fisik, hingga pada aksi pembunuhan.
