Abstract

This research aims to improve understanding of advanced study planning through information services using the CapCut application for class IX C students at 22 Junior High School Pontianak. The method used is class action with two cycles. The research results demonstrate that students' talents and interests increased from 41% to 55% after the first action cycle and to 81% after the second cycle. Understanding secondary school improved from 42% in the poor category to 52% in the sufficient category after the first cycle of action. Following the second cycle, it further increased to 86% in the good category. The distinguishing aspect of secondary schools before the action was obtained was a percentage of 43% in the sufficient category, after being given action in cycle I it increased by 11% but was still in the sufficient category and after the implementation of cycle II it increased further by 34% to 88% in the good category. The aspect of making decisions and choosing a secondary school before the action was given, the percentage was 45% in the sufficient category, after being given the action in cycle I it increased by 10% but was still in the sufficient category and after the implementation of cycle II it increased by 34% to 89% in the good category. The use of the CapCut application in class IX C can enhance students' comprehension of planning for future studies by offering information services

Abstract

The objective of this study is to affirm students’ self-identity through the implementation of biblio-consultation, which is informed by local wisdom, within the context of Islamic education. The concept of self-identity is reflected in the student’s sense of identity, which is inextricably linked to their regional cultural identity and forms a fundamental aspect of their national identity. The identity crisis experienced by students during the development of the contemporary era represents a significant challenge for the field of education. The transformation of local values in the contemporary era, if left unaddressed, may result in a loss of identity among students. An alternative solution would be to instill the values of local wisdom as an indigenous force within the region, thereby influencing the identity of the students. This research employs a qualitative hermeneutic approach. The objective of hermeneutics is to ascertain the underlying significance of a text and to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the intersubjective process. The research was conducted with the participation of several high school students in East Pontianak, with the objective of affirming their identity through the medium of bibliotherapy. The approach of biblio-counselling incorporates the values of local wisdom of Malay ethnicity and the use of stories that facilitate the students’ engagement with the situation and conditions they are reading about. The students engage in introspective reflection and the formulation of novel, constructive behavioural modifications. It is possible for students to possess a broad or global mindset while nevertheless exhibiting behaviours and manners that are consistent with Eastern cultural norms.

Abstract

Research findings on guidance and counseling services and other educational programs on bullying problems in Indonesia have been widely conducted and published. However, efforts to find references on interventions for preventing and treating bullying problems in the city of Ternate through scientific publications are still relatively few or have not contributed much. Therefore, this study explores how much intervention of guidance and counseling services in schools and educational programs (outside of guidance and counseling services) to prevent and handle bullying problems in Ternate City. Methodologically, this study follows the basic idea of ​​narrative literature review (NLR), by referring to five steps of the process. The analysis results describe that in the last five years, the intervention of guidance and counseling services in schools on preventing and treating bullying problems in Ternate City is still minimal because only one published article was found. Meanwhile, educational program interventions (excluding guidance and counseling services) on the problem of bullying in the city of Ternate have been carried out quite a lot with intervention strategies and targets at different educational levels. Thus, these findings indicate that intervention of guidance and counseling services in schools on the prevention and treating of bullying in Ternate City is still very minimal when compared to intervention of other educational programs.

Abstract

The ritual ceremony of Naik Dango is a Dayak ethnic tradition in West Kalimantan which is still being carried out, as an expression of gratitude for having received an abundant rice harvest. Through the implementation of this ritual, researchers seek to explore the various living traditions held by the Dayak ethnic group in West Kalimantan so that they can contribute to an understanding of the traditional Dayak rituals, can explore the educative values ??contained in their implementation while at the same time preserving the ancestral traditions of the Dayak ethnic group. Using descriptive qualitative method with literary anthropology approach, data were collected by observation, recording and interviews. Data validation was carried out by means of triangulation of data sources and triangulation of methods. The implementation of the ritual ceremony of Naik Dango represents religious and creative practices as well as the customs of the Dayak ethnic group in ancient times. The educational values ??contained in the implementation of the Naik Dango ceremony are religious values, tolerance, gratitude and love for nature, social care.

Abstract

Bullying is a negative behavior carried out by individuals or groups, both verbally and non-verbally, causing psychological impacts such as pressure, discomfort, and a loss of self-confidence. This community service activity was initiated by the Pontianak City Regional Child Protection Commission (KPAD) in response to the high prevalence of bullying and the low level of public awareness regarding children's rights. The purpose of this program is to strengthen public understanding of child protection and to support the formulation of more adaptive policies. The method used includes outreach in schools in West Pontianak, involving students and parents in interactive discussions. The program implementation covered the planning, presentation of materials, and reflection sessions. The result showed increased participant engagement and understanding, as indicated by their responses during discussions and follow-up actions such as forming child protection task forces. This program is expected to contribute to sustainable and effective child protection efforts in Pontianak.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the profile of student creativity in P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) activities at State Junior High School 1 Sungai Betung and to analyze the creativity program of guidance and counseling teachers in the independent curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). In this case, the research informants are three guidance and counseling (BK) teachers in State Junior High School 1 Sungai Betung. Data were collected by conducting observations, interviews, and reviewing programs at State Junior High School 1 Sungai Betung, especially student activities when implementing creativity programs. This method involve documentation related to creativity programs by guidance and counseling teachers, extracurricular activities, P5 activities, guidance and counseling teacher programs such as individual counseling, group counseling and classical guidance, and organized activities related to creativity. The research results show that guidance and counseling teachers play an active role in creativity programs at school. Therefore, guidance and counseling teachers participate in creativity, especially in facilitating extracurricular activities and P5 in the development and growth of students, as well as developing the talents, interests, and potential possessed by students. From the data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation studies, researchers recommend designing student creativity programs for guidance and counseling teachers so that the existence of this program can develop guidance and counseling teacher programs and students' creativity abilities at school.

Abstract

Fenomena krisis identitas diri remaja Pontianak yang tidak sesuai dengan pengharapan ideal orang tua dan pesan para leluhur dalam falsafah etnis Melayu. Tujuan dari pembahasan topik ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena perilaku social remaja saat ini yang sangat bertentangan dengan pesan adat, petuah orang tua dalam falsafah hidup etnis Melayu Pontianak. Memaparkan perubahan gaya hidup remaja yang mengikuti trend western, dari cara berkomunikasi, lunturnya kepedulian dan kesopanan hingga bergaya hidup mewah atau hedon yang tidak sesuai dengan kemampuan diri. Diperlukan adanya penanaman dan pemahaman kembali atau rekonstruksi terhadap nilai-nilai yang terdapat dalam pesan adat sebagai ciri dan identitas diri etnis Melayu. Pesan adat etnis melayu merupakan kearifan lokal yang diimani oleh masyarakat Melayu sebagai pedoman hidup manusia dan makluk Tuhan YME. Nilai-nilai pesan adat ini tertuang dalam kearifan lokal yang disebut Robo-Robo. Masyarakat Melayu meyakini bahwa nilai adat Robo robo merupakan pesan untuk menjadi pribadi yang beradat sesuai falsafah hidup etnis Melayu. Nilai-nilai adat dalam Robo-Robo merupakan representative dari nilai Islam, karena agama Islam merupakan Identitas religi orang Melayu. Upaya menanamkan kembali nilai-nilai dalam adat Robo-Robo kepada remaja di Pontianak, diperlukan media yang digunakan oleh Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling. Media yang dipilih dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu diri yakni media Bibliocounseling. Bibliocounseling mempunyai manfaat sebagai nurturent effect yakni diperolehnya pengetahuan tentang materi bacaan, timbul sikap kritis, dan menambah wawasan remaja melalui penumbuhan kesadaran khususnya moral. Melalui Bibliocounseling dapat sepenuhnya memasuki peran baru, dapat membawa individu seolah olah merasa dan terbawa dalam situasi peran dalam kehidupan.

Abstract

Fenomena kekerasan seksual pada remaja awal jenjang sekolah menengah pertama juga dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, seperti rendahnya pengetahuan remaja tentang seksualitas, kurangnya pengawasan dari orang tua dan sekolah, serta budaya patriarki yang memandang rendah dan menguatkan perempuan. perilaku kekerasan. Hasil penyebaran angket kepada siswa SMP dan guru BK di Kalimantan Tengah, Pontianak, Gorontalo dan Jawa Timur menunjukkan bahwa gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap tentang kekerasan seksual pada remaja awal tingkat SMP masih perlu ditingkatkan. . Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya komprehensif untuk mencegah dan menangani kekerasan seksual pada remaja awal di tingkat sekolah menengah pertama agar tercipta kehidupan yang aman, adil dan bermartabat bagi semua kelompok, termasuk remaja. Fakta menunjukkan bahwa kekerasan seksual terhadap remaja merupakan masalah yang sangat serius dan berdampak pada kesejahteraan fisik dan mental remaja. Selain itu, gender dan kesetaraan gender juga menjadi isu yang sangat penting dan mempengaruhi kehidupan remaja sehari-hari. Modul BK “Pasukan Anti-KS” bertujuan untuk menekankan sikap anti kekerasan seksual dan kesetaraan gender di kalangan siswa SMP. Modul ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai kekerasan seksual dan dampaknya, menghapuskan segala bentuk diskriminasi dan kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak perempuan, termasuk kekerasan seksual, dan mendorong kesetaraan gender di kalangan siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan Modul BK “Pasukan Anti-KS” bagi remaja awal tingkat sekolah menengah pertama untuk memastikan remaja mendapatkan pendidikan dan dukungan yang tepat untuk mencegah kekerasan seksual dan mencapai tujuan pembangunan. berkelanjutan nomor 5. Modul ini juga dapat membantu mengurangi risiko kekerasan seksual dan meningkatkan kesadaran remaja akan pentingnya kesetaraan gender dan hak-hak perempuan.

Abstract

Abstract: Community service aims to describe parental guidance towards children while at home. This activity is in the form of counseling on how participants can develop parenting, especially in managing children's schedules in learning according to changing times, so that tasks as parents can play an active and effective role, participants can increase children's enthusiasm in learning, participants can set schedules for learning activities at home, children's habits in behaving towards their elders and helping them when doing work at home. This service activity was carried out at the Kontor Hall of Sungai Bundung Laut Village, Mempawah Regency, this activity was carried out smoothly and there was an increase in parents in carrying out parenting for children, it was evidenced by the increase in children's learning achievements, accustomed to independent living and the formation of children's learning programs. This training encourages participants to follow it and get the job done faster and more efficiently.

Abstract

The research aims to produce a solution focus brief counseling (SFBC) guide to improve the cooperative ability of guidance and counseling students. The focus of the problem in this research is to improve the cooperation ability of IKIP-PGRI Pontianak students. The approach uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) through two cycles. Assessment of student collaboration aspects in applying SFBC guidelines to improve student collaboration skills. Assessment of aspects of student cooperation in implementing the SFBC guide uses observation guidelines while indicators include communication, coordination, contribution, tolerance, responsibility, and motivation. The results showed that the SFBC guide could improve students' collaboration skills. The acquisition of cooperation indicators in each cycle is classified as "Good" and "Very Good" for the average acquisition of each cycle. SFBC guidelines to improve student collaboration skills consist of Rationale, implementation objectives, implementation, SFBC therapy techniques, evaluation, and follow-up. After implementing the SFBC guidelines, it can be concluded that the SFBC guidelines can be used to improve student collaboration skills.
