Student autonomy refers to an individual's ability to manage their own learning process, make informed academic decisions, and take responsibility for their personal development. The level of autonomy can vary depending on the campus environment, learning approach, and the type of academic support provided. This study aims to describe and analyze the differences in student autonomy between Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). This study used a comparative, descriptive, and quantitative approach. Samples were purposively selected from students at Universitas Negeri Padang and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who actively attended lectures. The data collection instrument was The Autonomy Questionnaire for Students with the Guttman scale model with "yes-no" formats as answer choices that measured the dimensions of learning autonomy, decision-making, and academic responsibility. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a comparative test (t-test). The results of the analysis showed that Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia students had a higher level of autonomy than students from Universitas Negeri Padang. Most respondents from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia were in the high autonomy category, while 50.4% of respondents from Universitas Negeri Padang were in the moderate category. The t-test results revealed significant differences between the two groups of students in aspects of decision-making and independent learning management. These differences can be attributed to variations in learning approaches, the role of lecturers as facilitators, and the more supportive academic environment at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The results of this study emphasize the importance of developing learning strategies and campus culture that can encourage student autonomy more evenly across universities.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the development of technological disruption in the current era of globalization have resulted in uncertainty and challenges, especially in the field of workforce recruitment. This condition requires readiness for career selection in the pre-employment age profile. Therefore, effective career guidance is increasingly needed. This study aimed to map the HAI (Hope-Action Inventory) profile of 82 high school students as the basis for career guidance and counseling service programs in high school. The method used in this research was a descriptive study of hope-action competencies assessment. The measurement of HAI competencies was important for effectively managing one's career development. This study found that 13% of students were still in the low expected action competence category. Several dimensions of competence measured showed a range of several dimensions of hope-action competence that were still undetermined, namely the dimensions of self-clarity (mean 2.98. SD 0.23), visioning (mean 3.11. SD 0.16), goal setting and planning (mean 3.06. SD 0.16). Some correlations among these dimensions (r = 0.187 to 0.661) suggest a hierarchy in the competency profile of action expectations that should be considered for developing programs career guidance and counseling service program that integrates the hope action theory. It is expected that programs career guidance and counseling that integrates the hope action theory will be more effective in enhancing career development.

Genogram as a tool in the counselling process has a long history and is not just a term, but it is based on a clear philosophical foundation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method that includes primary articles and books. The results of the study indicate that a genogram is a diagrammatic representation of family conditions and information from several generations, which can explain status, work patterns, lifestyle, illness, gender, and other factors. By understanding the good or bad family history, individuals can use this information to anticipate and prevent future problems and guide them to achieve more positive conditions. The use of a genogram in counselling provides deep insight into hereditary patterns and dynamics, helps clients understand interpersonal relationships, and gives them strength to face life's challenges.

Organisational climate is a form of situation that occurs in an organisation that is formed by relationships between individuals. Many teachers complain about the discrepancies within their school hierarchy. For the school organisational environment to thrive and survive, mutual guidance is needed to create a supportive and effective environment. This research uses literature review research. Nazir (2003), revealed that literature research is a data collection technique by conducting a study of books, literature, records, and reports that have to do with the problem to be solved. In conclusion, the author recommends that school principals, understand the main tasks and functions of counsellors well and carefully, provide facilities and infrastructure for Guidance and Counselling teachers, so that Guidance and Counselling activities can be carried out properly. For subject teachers, they should collaborate with Guidance and Counselling teachers in socialising Guidance and Counselling services and participate in identifying students who are experiencing problems and help collect important information related to students' personal data.

Guidance and Counseling Management cannot be separated from planning. A good planning process will have an impact on the optimization of guidance and counseling services, whereas unsystematic planning will greatly affect the quality of guidance and counseling services. One of the impacts is that guidance and counseling services only focus on handling problematic students and this is not in line with the purpose and function of guidance and counseling in schools. This study aims to look at the description of guidance and counseling planning and its relation to the optimization of guidance and counseling services for counselees on Nias Island. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the type of case study research in four schools on Nias Island. The research was conducted with interviews and documentation conducted online. The research subjects were guidance and counseling teachers from vocational and junior high schools. The results show that planning in educational institutions located on Nias Island shows a lack of systematic and efficient planning. This deficiency in planning has significant implications for the improvement of guidance and counseling services in schools. The focus of Guidance and Counseling Services is only on students who have problems, this shows that services are not optimal and have an impact on counselees who need services for self-development and also preventive functions. Therefore, this research is expected to be an input to improve guidance and counseling planning in schools. Furthermore, it is important for every principal and teacher to have involvement to maximize services to students.

Then, an evaluation is carried out in an effort to control the guidance and counseling program, and this becomes the basis for preparing the report and becomes an important note for decision making in preparing future guidance and counseling programs. This research provides a new perspective and is the basis for implementing optimal guidance and counseling evaluations in schools.
