Abstract

Opportunities, opportunities and challenges for women to develop their potential today are increasingly open. Supported by the motivation of women to work, study and entrepreneurship like men without forgetting their nature as a woman is getting stronger. The opportunities that are already available need to be supported by the improvement of human resources itself. To be able to compete in the world of work, education and skills are needed. The higher a person's education, the value of time becomes more valuable so it tends to replace his spare time for work. The low participation of women in the field of education results in the low participation of women in the economy. This can be shown by the low opportunity for women to work in the industrial sector, as well as the low access to economic empowerment, including capabilities in technology, information, working capital markets. : between opportunities and challenges in business in the 4.0 industrial revolution era. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data processing is done through editing, coding and interpretive. The data analysis technique used is through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research, the role of women is an opportunity to play a strategic role, namely as domestic and public. The role of women as well as opportunities in business in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is not enough to take part only as housewives, but is also required to be able to take part in family businesses and in the career world. Constraints faced by women are lack of understanding of technology, lack of digital literacy, due to low educational background.

Abstract

Digital transformation in supply chain management has encouraged companies to adopt innovative technologies to improve efficiency and competitiveness. One technology that is increasingly being implemented is blockchain, which offers transparency, security, and automation in supply chain management. However, the integration of blockchain with existing systems still faces various challenges, including technical barriers, workforce readiness, and the need for clearer regulations. This study aims to analyze the impact of blockchain technology implementation on operational efficiency in supply chain management. The research method used is a qualitative approach with literature analysis from various relevant sources. The data obtained will be systematically reviewed to identify patterns, challenges, and potential for blockchain technology development in the supply chain. The results of the study show that blockchain can improve product traceability, speed up transactions, and reduce operational costs in the supply chain. The implementation of this technology also has the potential to change the competitive landscape of the industry by creating a more efficient and transparent system. Therefore, an appropriate integration strategy and regulatory support are needed to ensure wider and more sustainable blockchain adoption.

Abstract

The creative industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly, and digital transformation is driving innovation in various sectors. Knowledge management is an important factor in creating innovative products that can compete in the global market. However, there are still challenges in optimizing knowledge management strategies to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of the creative industry. This study aims to analyze the role of knowledge management in driving product innovation in the Indonesian creative industry. The research method used is a qualitative approach, which involves collecting data from various previous studies, industry reports, and relevant academic research. The data obtained are then analyzed systematically to identify the relationship between knowledge management and product innovation. The results of the study show that an effective knowledge management strategy contributes to improving the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of product innovation in the creative industry. A work environment that supports the exchange of ideas, the use of digital technology, and cross-sector collaboration are the main factors in strengthening the knowledge-based innovation ecosystem. Therefore, optimizing knowledge management must be a priority in the creative industry development strategy to remain competitive in the global market.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to describe quality control related to damage in returned goods, identify quality control implementation using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method. Method: To address these issues, the company implemented strategies such as fishbone diagram analysis and the 5 Why analysis, and developed a Work Instruction (WI) as a standard operating guideline to support comprehensive quality control improvements. Results: The results of the study indicate that the primary causes of damage to returned goods include improper use of hand pallets and an overloaded warehouse, leading to limited and inaccessible storage space. In addition, ineffective communication also contributes to the high number of returned goods. Novelty: The company has obtained ISO 9001 certification, which focuses on quality management systems, as evidence of its commitment to implementing quality control standards. However, in practice, the quality control implementation at this company has not been optimal. This is evident from the high rate of damage in returned goods, which exceeds the annual target limit of 90 cartons out of the total returned items received.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to analyze the customs clearance process for the discovery of imported goods in the red lane. Method: This research used a qualitative method with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. Results: The results of the study indicate that the customs clearance process for the discovery of imported goods in the red lane is quite complex, which includes an in-depth examination of documents and physical imported goods, verification of the status of the found goods if they are classified as Non-LARTAS must payment SPTNP, while goods included in the LARTAS category then the goods are not allowed to leave by Customs so that the Release of Part of the Imported Goods applies after the issuance of SPPB Notes. Novelty: Customs Clearance is a crucial process in international trade activities, especially imports. This process involves a channeling response from Customs, one of them is the red lane. Where imported goods require further action due to certain risk factors.

Abstract

Objective: Indonesia is one of the countries that is a tourist destination because of its culinary richness. The potential for a strong national economic base can be seen from the very large number of MSMEs and their ability to absorb a large workforce. MSME "Seblak King" is one type of culinary business that is currently popular with the public, with products made from kencur, chili, raw crackers, and various other toppings. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the business of the MSME "Seblak King" located in Krajan Village, Purwoharjo District, Banyumas Regency, based on five aspects of feasibility, namely finance. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Results: The results of the study indicate that the “Seblak King” business is feasible to run and develop. From the financial aspect, a positive Payback Period value is obtained, a decent Return on Investment, Net Present Value, Profitability Index and Internal Rate of Return have positive values ​​or the business is feasible to be developed and run. Based on the overall analysis, the “Seblak King” MSMES is declared feasible to run and has promising business prospects. Novelty: The feasibility of the “Seblak King” MSME business is assessed through a comprehensive approach that integrates five main aspects—namely market and marketing, technical and operational, human resources, legal, and financial—in a comprehensive and practical manner.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower housewives' groups in Banjar Batan Poh, Sanur Kaja, through training in making dish soap made from natural ingredients as an environmentally friendly, safe, and economical alternative. The soap is made from pandanus and lime leaves which are easily available and contain antiseptic and antibacterial compounds. The method used was a participatory approach that included five stages: preparation, socialization, training on making, packaging, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding and skills; 92% understood the importance of environmentally friendly products, 88% were able to recreate them independently, and 80% were interested in making them a business opportunity. This activity not only provides environmental education, but also opens up business opportunities based on local potential and strengthens collaboration between universities and communities in creating sustainable development.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mengembangkan ekonomi Indonesia, meskipun dalam perbandingan dengan pengusaha besar. Meskipun demikian, pelaku UMKM memberikan sumbangan yang cukup besar terhadap pendapatan daerah. Namun, banyak pelaku UMKM yang menghadapi kendala dalam mengatur administrasi dan manajemen keuangan yang berdampak pada kesulitan dalam memperoleh akses permodalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pelatihan manajemen dan administrasi keuangan pada UMKM di Desa Wanareja Utara, Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Pemalang, Jawa Tengah. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui 6 tahap yaitu sosialisasi program, observasi, melakukan wawancara, pemaparan materi dan pendampingan. Subjek penelitian adalah UMKM pengrajin Sarung Goyor yang terletak di desa Warareja Utara kecamatan Taman, kabupaten Pemalang Provinsi jawa Tengah. Pelatihan manajemen dan administrasi keuangan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan manajemen dan administrasi keuangan efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen serta kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan UMKM. Peningkatan ini juga berdampak positif pada kinerja dan produktivitas UMKM. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan manajemen dan administrasi keuangan direkomendasikan untuk diberikan pada UMKM di Desa Wanareja Utara, Kecamatan Taman, Kabupaten Pemalang, Jawa Tengah.

Abstract

Aerospace company faces inefficiencies in warehouse layout and frequent occurrences of both shortages and surpluses of aircraft components. This study employs causal forecasting methods to predict component demand over the next five years and implements the Class Based Storage method. The results show annual demand fluctuations ranging from 651 to 829 items, with high forecasting accuracy. The optimization of the warehouse layout using Class Based Storage successfully enhances storage efficiency and space utilization, contributing to the development of effective warehouse management strategies.
