Abstract

“Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) is an Indonesian government program launched to improve students’ skills and competencies, both hard and soft skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation strategy of the “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) program in Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and a multi-case study method, this study examines the implementation of MBKM in Islamic religious colleges in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using multi-case analysis techniques, starting from single case analysis/individual case and continuing with cross-case analysis/cross-case analysis. After being analyzed, data validity was checked through the degree of certainty, transferability, and trustworthiness. The results of this study indicate that implementing MBKM in PTKI uses a curriculum overhaul and adaptation strategy. The curriculum overhaul is implemented through learning innovation programs, collaboration, learning opportunities, eight program learning opportunities, character education, and curriculum models. Implementing curriculum adaptation is carried out through the ease of opening new study programs, study program accreditation, and the right to study outside the program for three semesters. The MBKM program is evaluated internally through internal quality audits and externally through national and international accreditation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the principal's strategy in realizing Adiwiyata schools and describe the planning, organization, and control of the Adiwiyata program at MAN 1 Samarinda and MAN 2 Kutai Kartanegara. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach; the data source is words with two data used, primary and secondary data. Techniques for collecting data include interviews, observation, and documentation, as well as testing the validity of the data in the form of data triangulation, technical triangulation, and source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses the theories of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, and then the researcher uses data coding to present and verify the data. The results of the research show that the head of the madrasah makes planning and supervision of the Adiwiyata program, forms an Adiwiyata committee team and instills Adiwiyata values, completes facilities and infrastructure, makes policies, collaborates with various parties, and guides several schools. This research provides implications regarding the importance of the critical role of madrasah heads in realizing Adiwiyata status in schools. This emphasizes the vital role of the school principal in providing direction, vision, and strategies to integrate Adiwiyata values into the school environment as a whole.

Abstract

however, in the contemporary global context it faces serious challenges due to digitalization, globalization, and increasing cultural diversity. While traditional learning models emphasize sanad, talaqqi, and spiritual discipline, modern approaches increasingly adopt digital platforms and blended learning. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the development of Qur’anic learning models from a global perspective by examining the dialectical relationship between traditional and modern approaches in Eastern and Western contexts. This research employs a qualitative document-based method using narrative and comparative analysis of international journal articles, academic books, and research reports published between 2015 and 2025. The data were analyzed thematically through coding, categorization, and critical synthesis. The findings indicate that traditional models such as Baghdadiyah, Iqro’, Qira’ati, and talaqqi-musyafahah remain essential in preserving the authenticity of recitation and spiritual depth, while digital and hybrid models enhance accessibility, flexibility, and learner engagement. These findings confirm that the sustainability of Qur’anic education in the global era depends on the development of an integrative–hybrid model that balances spiritual continuity and pedagogical innovation.
