Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of bioboost liquid fertilizer concentration on the growth and yield of large chili plants. This research is a one-factor experiment using a simple randomized block design. The tested treatment is the Bioboost concentration at 8 levels, namely: B0 = 0 cc.l-1 (control), B1 = 5 cc.l-1, B2 = 10 cc.l-1, B3 = 15 cc.l-1, B4 = 20 cc.l-1, B5 = 25 cc.l-1, B6 = 30 cc.l-1, B7 = 35 cc.l-1. Giving liquid bioboost fertilizer to chili plants is given once a week with a concentration of 0 cc.l-1 5 cc.l-1, cc.l-1, 15 cc.l-1, 20 cc.l-1, 25 cc.l-1, 30 cc.l-1, cc.l-1, compost 150 g, but also need to be given artificial fertilizers such as NPK pearls with a concentration of 1,5 g per polybag every month up to 6 times giving. The results showed that the concentration of bioboost 30 cc.l-1 gave the highest fresh weight of 90,71 g which increased by 85,46% compared to the lowest yield of fresh weight above ground without giving bioboost (B0) which is 48, 91 g. The increase in fresh weight above ground level in the 30 cc.l-1 bioboost concentration treatment also gave the highest yield of 330,15 g, which caused an increase in fresh fruit weight per chili plant by 68,15 g, when compared to the lowest yield of fresh fruit planting without bioboost (B0) which is 196,34 g.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving biochar and the type of fertilizer and its interaction in increasing the growth and yield of sweet corn plants. Randomized group design (RBD) Factorial pattern 2 factors (type of biochar and type of fertilizer) were used in this study. The results showed that the coconut shell biochar treatment provided the highest wet weight with 97.82 g which increased by 61.93% when compared to without biochar 60.41 g. The NPK-compost fertilizer treatment gave the highest value of weighted cob weight, which was 101.22 g which was significantly different and increased by 23.27% and 13.59% when compared with NPK fertilizer and compost treatments, respectively 89.11 g and 82.11 g.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rabbit compost and NPK Mutiara dosage and their interactions on the growth and yield of cucumber plants. The design used in this study was a randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factorials. The first factor is the provision of rabbit compost fertilizer with 3 levels (0, 10, and 20 ton ha-1) and the second factor is giving NPK Mutiara fertilizer with 3 levels (0, 150, and 300 kg ha-1). The interaction between rabbit compost and pearl NPK had no significant effect on all observed variables except for the fruit fresh weight variable, which had a significant effect. The treatment of rabbit compost (K) had a significant to very significant effect on all observed variables, except for the variable number of fruits per plant and staged oven dry weight, which had no significant effect. The treatment of NPK pearl fertilizer (M) statistically has no significant effect on all observed variables, except for the variable fresh weight of fruit and dry weight of the staged oven which has a significant effect. The highest fruit fresh weight was obtained at the interaction between the dose of 20 ton ha-1 rabbit compost with a dose of 300 kg ha-1 NPK pearl of 6322.42 g or an increase of 150.36% when compared to the interaction between without rabbit compost and NPK pearl of 2525.37 g. Provision of rabbit compost of 20 ton ha-1 and NPK pearl 300 kg ha-1 can be suggested to increase the fresh fruit weight of cucumber plants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of atonic concentration, pruning, and the interaction between atonic concentration and pruning on the growth and yield of arabica coffee plants. This research was conducted at UPP. Catur Paramitha, Catur Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency with an altitude of 1250 m above sea level. The experiment lasted for 3 months from September to November 2021. The design used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factors arranged in a factorial manner. The first factor is atonic concentration with 4 levels, namely Ao: 0 ml/l, A1: 1 ml/l, 2ml/l, and 3ml/l while the second factor is pruning which consists of 2 levels, namely, without pruning and with pruning. Observations on the observed variables were carried out every 2 weeks. The variables observed were branch length (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of new shoots (fruit), number of flowers (buds), number of fruit (fruit), and number of the stump (bunch). The results of statistical analysis showed that giving atonic concentrations to coffee plants had a significant to a very significant effect on the variables of number of leaves, number, number of new shoots, number of flowers, and number of fruits, and no significant effect on branch length and number of buds. The pruning treatment showed a very significant effect on all observed variables except for the variable length of branches and the number of buds which showed no significant effect. The interaction between the treatment of the effect of atonic concentration and pruning had a significant effect on the number of leaves, a very significant effect on the number of flowers and fruit, and an insignificant effect on the variable length of branches.

Abstract

Red chili is one of the commodity crops grown in Indonesia. One of the factors that affect the production of red chili plants is fertilization. The application of organic fertilizer affects the yield and growth of red chili plants. This study aims to determine the response of the growth and development of red chili plants to the application of organic and inorganic fertilizers combined with biochar. This study was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Local Waste Processing Site in Kusamba Village, Klungkung Regency, and the Laboratory of the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture Warmadewa University from March to November 2021. Soil and fertilizer testing were carried out at the Soil Science Laboratory, Udayana University. The study used an experimental method, the experimental design used was a one-factor randomized block design with 4 replications/block. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight harvested per hectare. Based on the data obtained, the type of fertilizer treatment had a very significant effect on all observed variables except for plant height at 21 DAP per plant, the number of leaves at 21 DAP per plant, and the number of leaves at 28 DAP per plant had a significant effect on the treatment given. The application of NPK fertilizer gave the best results on all parameters except for the stem diameter parameter. On the stem diameter parameter, the application of asri nature fertilizers gives the best result. Control treatment (without fertilizer) gave the lowest yield in all observations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth response and yield of chrysanthemum plants in the application of several types of mulch and organic fertilizer. This research uses the basic design of Randomized Block Design with the factorial pattern with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is mulch treatment consisting of 3 levels ie without mulch, rice husk mulch, and black silver plastic mulch. The second factor is organic fertilizer consists of 3 levels namely petrogenic, cow manure and chicken manure. The research results showed that the highest weight of flower stalk was obtained in silver black mulch treatment, increase of 9.63% when compared with the weight of the lowest flower stalk. The highest economic fresh weight was obtained in mulch treatment, increase of 17.53% when compared with the lowest fresh economic weight on mulch rice husk mulch treatment weighing. The highest weight of the flower stalk was obtained in the treatment of cow manure, increased of 10.14% when compared with the lowest weight of the flower stalk obtained in the treatment of cow manure weighing. The highest economic fresh weight was obtained in the cow manure treatment, which increased by 9.91% when compared with the lowest fresh economic interest weight obtained in the treatment of petrogenic fertilizer weighing. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of treatment of fertilization time and dosage of nitrogen to the growth and yield of peanut plants. This experiment is a two-factor experiment with incomplete randomized block design. The first factor is the time (S) of fertilizer consisting of three levels: During planting (S0), 15 days after planting (S1), 30 days after planting (S2), The second factor is the dosage of Nitrogen (N) fertilizer consisting of three levels: 25 kg/ha (N1), 50 kg/ha (N2). The results showed that treatment of fertilization time and a dose of nitrogen showed no significant effect on plant height, maximum leaf number, leaf area index, the total pod containing, total void pod, total pod number, oven dry weight of oven plants, and harvesting index. The interaction of nitrogen dose with a time of fertilization gave a very real effect to most observed variables except for maximum plant height, maximum leaf number, leaf area, harvest index that is not significant. The high dry weight of seed oven per plant was obtained at the fertilizer interaction treatment at 15 days after planting and the dose of nitrogen 25 kg/ha was 30.33 g and or increased by 152.75% and when compared with the control of 12.00 g. From a result of regression analysis got an optimum dose of nitrogen fertilizer that is 34.15 kg/ha with the dry weight of oven seeds per plant maximum 26.73 g. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of biochar and phonska as well as its interaction on the growth and yield of corn crops. This experiment used a randomized block design (RBD), a factorial pattern with 2 factors. The first factor was the biochar dose consisting of 4 levels, ie: without biochar, 5 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1, and 15 t ha-1. The second factor was the dose of phonska fertilizer consisting of 2 levels: without phonska and 300 kg ha-1. The results showed that the dose of biochar 10 t ha-1 gave the highest dry weight of seed per hectare of 8.12 tons, an increase of 32.77% compared with without biochar of 6.12 tons. The treatment of phonska fertilizer dosage of 300 kg ha-1 gave the highest dry weight of seed per hectare of 8.07 tons and the increase of 26.68% compared with without phonska of 6.37 tons. Based on a result of regression analysis test obtained optimum dose 10.44 t ha-1 with a dry weight of seed per ha maximum 7.90 ton. Keywords: charcoal, bamboo biochar, NPK phonska, corn

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence and interaction by giving biochar and bioboost of the growth and fruitage of chili. This research is used Randomized Block Design factorial patterned with 2 factor, the first treatment is biochar of cow feces with 4 standards of dosage (0; 5; 10; dan 15 ton ha-1), meanwhile the second factor is bioboost with 3 standards of dosage (30, 60, dan 90 cc tan-1). The interaction between biochar and bioboost gave the real influenced into the height, weight of fresh roots, oven-dry of the leaves, oven-dry of the chili each plant but gave not real influenced into the other variables. The height weight of dry chili was obtained into the interaction between biochar 10 ton ha-1 and 60 cc tan-1 is 3.20 g or increased by 28 % if compared with the lowest weight in bioboost 60 cc tan-1 without biochar is 2.25 g.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of compost and biochar made from livestock manure and its interaction on the growth and yield of red chili plants. in former farmers' rice fields in Blahkiuh Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, with an altitude of about 400-500 meters above sea level. This research activity took place from March to July 2020. The design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors, namely: chicken compost with 2 levels and 4 levels of biochar by testing the compost dose and the type of biochar with a dose of 15 tons ha-1. The interaction between the treatment of the effect of biochar dose (B) and the dose of chicken compost (K) had no significant effect on all observed variables. The biochar treatment had a significant to very significant effect on most of the observed variables, except for the variable number of leaves, number of fruit, dry weight of fruit oven, dry weight of streak oven, which had no significant effect, while the chicken compost treatment had a very significant effect. real for all variables. Provision of chicken biochar type increased fruit fresh weight in the treatment of chicken biochar, which was 1387.49 g which increased by 18.13% compared to treatment without biochar, which was 1135.92 g, while the fresh weight of fruit at compost dose chicken, namely 1455.13 g, increased by 30.33% compared to the treatment without compost, namely 1013.74 g Keywords: Biochar; compost; and chili plants
