Abstract

Nature education has great potential in forming emotional connections between students and their environment. In today’s educational context, where urbanization and modernization are increasingly dominant, it is important to refocus on direct experiences in nature. Through this approach, students not only learn about ecosystems and biodiversity, but also develop a sense of empathy and responsibility towards the environment. Direct experiences, such as camping, exploring the forest, or doing conservation projects, provide opportunities for students to actively engage with nature. This study aims to explore how nature education can strengthen students’ emotional ties to their surroundings. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study analyzes various existing literatures to understand the impact of nature education on students’ attitudes and behaviors. The findings of this study indicate that experiences in nature not only increase environmental awareness but also create a deeper connection between students and nature. Students who engage in nature education tend to show positive attitudes towards environmental conservation and are more active in conservation activities. In addition, these experiences can also improve students’ mental health by reducing stress and increasing emotional well-being. Thus, nature education not only functions as an educational tool, but also as a medium to form a generation that is more concerned and responsible for the environment, which is very important amidst the environmental challenges faced today.

Abstract

This Study aims to reveal the Potential of Game-Based Learning (GBL) Education in Schools in Intermediate First (SMP) Indonesia. The research methods used​ are studies case with collect data via observations and interviews with teachers and students at a junior high school in Indonesia. Research results show that GBL has the potency to increase the involvement of students in learning, providing an environment of interactive and interesting learning, as well as facilitating a deeper understanding​ deep about material lessons. Implications study This indicated that GBL integration can become an effective alternative​ For increasing effective learning in Indonesian junior high schools.

Abstract

There are three types of learning styles, to meet the learning styles of students, both visual and auditory types, there needs to be an innovation of supportive and appropriate learning media. In addition, the learning media can also be one of the supporting media in the implementation of online learning. Therefore, a research was conducted that aims to produce online-based learning media that is integrated with video and audio. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 3D model consisting of 3 stages, namely Definition, Design. The products that have been produced are then validated by 3 experts to determine eligibility based on expert assessments. Then a limited trial was conducted on 6 students to find out their response to the learning website and become one of the references in improving the media. The expert's assessment shows that the Website-Based Sciences Learning Media product that is integrated with video and audio is very feasible, which is marked by a percentage score of 91,68%. In addition, students' perceptions of the use of Website-Based Sciences Learning Media that are integrated with video and audio are at a value of 91,31% with a good category.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sains di SD Putera Batam melalui metode interaktif berbasis teknologi. SD Putera Batam, yang mengadopsi kurikulum nasional dan berbasis IT, menghadapi tantangan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dan metode interaktif untuk pembelajaran sains. Melalui pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan, guru diberikan wawasan dan keterampilan untuk menerapkan metode seperti pembelajaran berbasis proyek, eksperimen langsung, dan penggunaan media digital. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan metode interaktif dari 60% menjadi 90%. Minat siswa terhadap sains meningkat dari 50% menjadi 80%, berkat pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan melibatkan mereka secara aktif. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran juga meningkat signifikan, dari 40% menjadi 85%, dengan guru dan siswa mampu menggunakan laboratorium virtual dan alat bantu digital. Selain itu, kolaborasi siswa dalam proyek berbasis sains meningkat dari 55% menjadi 88%, mencerminkan keberhasilan dalam mendorong kreativitas dan kerja sama siswa. Program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, tetapi juga memberikan keberlanjutan melalui pelatihan yang memberdayakan guru untuk terus menggunakan metode interaktif dan evaluasi yang komprehensif. Abstract

Using the inquiry learning model to increase student activity in the learning process. The inquiry method encourages students to question, investigate, and make their own discoveries, thereby increasing their understanding and involvement in learning. The use of the inquiry model significantly increases student activity, promotes critical thinking, and deepens their understanding of the subject matter. The pedagogical implications of this research support the use of the inquiry model as an effective strategy to facilitate more student-centered and discovery-oriented learning. The aim of using the inquiry learning model is to increase student activity in the learning process through student-centered learning, facilitating exploration, inquiry and problem solving. By encouraging students to question, investigate, and make their own discoveries, the inquiry model helps build deeper understanding, increases student engagement, and promotes the development of critical thinking skills and research skills that are important in learning. The inquiry learning model promotes student activity through an approach that places students as the main learning agents. In inquiry, students are invited to ask questions, investigate and discover their own knowledge through exploration and reflex. The purpose of this writing is to discuss strategies for implementing inquiry learning. The inquiry learning strategy states that the teacher as a learning source is not the only one, there are many more learning sources that can support successful learning. The teacher is only a facilitator, a guide who always directs students in learning. Students are designed as discoverers or seekers of knowledge, a teacher's job is to manage students so that they gain knowledge and become meaningful.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of interactive learning media based on a 2D virtual laboratory for electrochemistry material and to examine students' responses to its use. The media was designed as a solution to address the limitations of laboratory equipment and materials often encountered in schools. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The media’s validity was analyzed using Aiken’s V content validity, involving three expert validators. The results of the analysis indicated a validity score of 0.86, which falls into the high category, demonstrating that the media is feasible for use. Student responses to the media were also analyzed, yielding an overall quality percentage of 75.98%, classified as good. Based on these findings, the learning media is considered effective and applicable in the teaching and learning process for electrochemistry materials to enhance students' conceptual understanding and practical skills.

Abstract

This literature review examines the application of technology in education and how these innovations affect teaching and learning. The research shows that technology has the potential to increase the accessibility and flexibility of education, reduce educational disparities, and provide a more interactive and personalised learning experience. However, the adoption of technology in education requires adequate infrastructure, technology competency training for teachers, and attention to student privacy and data security. In addition, challenges such as the risk of distraction, cyberbullying and technology dependency also need to be addressed through appropriate policies and regulations. With adequate support and a wise approach, technology can be an important tool in improving the quality of education and learning.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of technology-based learning innovations in community service programs aimed at improving education access in disadvantaged areas. Using a qualitative research approach, data were collected from educational practitioners, community leaders, and policymakers through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The findings reveal that digital learning tools, online platforms, and mobile-based education programs significantly enhance learning opportunities for marginalized communities. However, challenges such as digital literacy, infrastructure limitations, and funding remain substantial. The study underscores the necessity of a collaborative approach between governments, NGOs, and technology providers to ensure sustainable educational development.

These rapid developments in technology open up invaluable opportunities. It promises to improve the quality and effectiveness of learning experiences, engage students at a deeper level, expand access to a wealth of learning resources, and develop skills that are crucial in this new era. In addition, technology embellishes the assessment and evaluation process, making it more effective and efficient. Moreover, it becomes a beacon of inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that learning is accessible to all. However, the successful integration of these innovations depends on strong infrastructure, improved educator competencies, supportive policies, and collaborative efforts between all stakeholders. With a holistic and synergistic approach, the transformation of education through technology not only promises innovation and interaction; it shapes a richer and higher-quality learning environment. Such an environment nurtures the younger generation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengedukasi mahasiswa baru tentang pemanfaatan AI DeepSeek dan Canva dalam membuat media presentasi materi perkuliahan yang efektif, menarik, dan profesional. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa baru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi tersebut, sehingga mereka dapat menyajikan materi perkuliahan dengan lebih baik dan efisien. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) dengan pendekatan pelatihan dan pelatihan praktis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa baru mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menyusun konten dan mendesain media presentasi setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Selain itu, mahasiswa memberikan respons positif terhadap pelatihan, menganggap DeepSeek dan Canva sebagai alat yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas presentasi mereka. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa edukasi pemanfaatan AI DeepSeek dan Canva dapat menjadi solusi inovatif bagi mahasiswa baru dalam menghadapi tuntutan akademik.
