Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa Kelas V UPT SDN 008 Muara Uwai, dengan ketuntasan klasikal awal hanya 25%. Masalah ini diidentifikasi bersumber dari pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru (ceramah) sehingga siswa pasif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning Start With A Question. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 8 siswa Kelas V. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes (kuantitatif) dan observasi (kualitatif). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 25% pada pra-tindakan, menjadi 50% pada akhir Siklus I, dan berhasil mencapai 100% pada akhir Siklus II. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning Start With A Question, setelah melalui perbaikan prosedur pada siklus kedua, terbukti berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 019 Muara Uwai in the subject of Pancasila Education through the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model assisted by the Canva application. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Research instruments included teaching modules, observation sheets for teacher and student activities, and a learning motivation questionnaire. The results showed an increase in students' learning motivation from a pre-action rate of 46.6%, to 63.33% in the first cycle, and reaching 83.3% in the second cycle. This improvement was evident in students’ active participation in discussions, presentations, and enthusiasm for using Canva’s visual media. The implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model assisted by Canva made learning more engaging, contextual, and relevant to students’ lives, positively impacting both motivation and learning outcomes. The study recommends the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model and interactive digital media such as Canva as innovative alternatives in Pancasila Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Canva interactive media in improving reading comprehension among fourth-grade deaf students at SLBN Kabupaten Kampar. The background of this research is based on the need for learning media that can accommodate the hearing limitations of deaf students while increasing their interest and ability in reading. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the class teacher, school principal, students, and parents. The results indicate that the use of Canva interactive media provides a significant positive impact. First, it facilitates teachers in delivering material through engaging visuals, contrasting colors, and animations that are easy for deaf students to understand. Second, students become more focused and motivated to participate in reading lessons. Third, parental involvement in supporting their children’s learning at home increases since the media can be accessed flexibly. Observations showed improvement in text comprehension and vocabulary mastery after four learning sessions. Interviews with teachers, the school principal, and parents confirmed that Canva supports learning adjustments according to the communication characteristics of deaf students. The conclusion of this study is that Canva interactive media is effective in enhancing reading comprehension among deaf students. These findings align with previous studies emphasizing the importance of visualization and interactivity in learning for students with special needs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students in grade III of UPT SDN 019 Muara Uwai. The failure to achieve critical thinking indicators can be seen from the tendency of students to be passive, difficulty in expressing opinions, and inability to analyze and solve problems logically. This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of grade III students of UPT SDN 019 Muara Uwai through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by audio-visual media. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach which is carried out in two cycles, with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 25 students. Data collection instruments include observation sheets, critical thinking ability tests, and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that students' critical thinking skills have increased in each cycle, as indicated by an increase in the percentage of students in cycle I meeting I reaching (44%), meeting II increasing to (52%), while in cycle II meeting I (76%) and meeting II increasing to (84%). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model assisted by audio-visual media can improve students' critical thinking skills on the material of my school rules in class II of UPT SDN 019 Muara Uwai.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students, especially in mathematics learning. This research aims to improve the problem-solving ability of class V-A students at UPT SDN 001 Air Tiris. The low problem-solving ability can be improved by using the STAD model based on gamification. This research is a classroom action research, conducted in two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects in this study were 20 students and the observers were the class V-A teacher and peers, while the object was using the STAD model based on gamification to improve students' problem-solving ability. The research instruments consisted of observation sheets of teacher and student activities, test sheets, and documentation sheets. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of the research conducted through two cycles, in cycle I meeting I the students' problem-solving ability was in the very poor category 45%, and meeting II was in the very poor category 55%. Whereas in cycle II meeting I the students' problem-solving ability was in the poor category 65% and in meeting II in the very good category 90%. Based on these results, it shows that using the STAD model based on gamification can improve the problem-solving ability of class V-A students at UPT SDN 001 Air Tiris.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi perkalian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IIIB di SDN 028 Rimbo Panjang, Kecamatan Tambang yang mengalami kesulitan belajar sebanyak 26 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengam menggunakan Angket, Wawancara, Observasi dan Dokumentasi. Analisis data digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa kelas IIIB. Faktor-faktor kesulitan belajar siswa kelas III SDN 028 Rimbo Panjang, Kecamatan Tambang, Kabupaten kampar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal. Dimana faktor internal dipengaruhi oleh faktor rasa percaya diri dan intelektual belajar siswa. Pada faktor intelektual siswa kelas IIIB termasuk rendah dengan presentase 28%. Faktor rasa percaya diri siswa kelas IIIB termasuk kedalam kriteria sedang dengan presentase 44%. Sedangkan untuk faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas IIIB, yaitu faktor guru dan lingkungan sekolah. Faktor guru pada siswa kelas IIIB rendah dengan memiliki presentase 33%, sedangkan faktor lingkungan sekolah termasuk kriteria sangat rendah dengan presentase 6%, yang sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya kesulitan belajar pada Siswa Kelas IIIB SDN 028 Rimbo Panjang Kecamatan Tambang, Kabupaten Kampar.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low social skills of students during learning activities in class V SDN 020 Ridan Permai , Bangkinang City District, Kampar Regency. This study aims to improve students' social skills by using a make a match type of cooperative learning model in class V SDN 020 Ridan play . The type of this research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDN 020 Ridan Permai , totaling 23 people, with 9 male students and 14 female students. The research data collection techniques are in the form of observation and documentation. The results of this research observation showed that the social skills of students in the first cycle there were 12 students in the complete category (52%). In the second cycle there was an increase to 19 students in the complete category (83%). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model can improve the social skills of the fifth grade students of SDN 020 Ridan play .

Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by the low cooperation skills of fifth grade students at SDN 024 Limau Manis. One solution to overcome this problem is to apply the team quiz model. The purpose of this study was to describe increasing student collaboration by applying the team quiz model to the fifth grade students of SDN 024 Limau Manis. This research method is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students, totaling 15 students. Data collection techniques in the form of documentation, observation and tests. this is indicated by an increase in the number of students who reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). Before action 33.3%, cycle I meeting I 33.3% and cycle I meeting II 33.3% and increased in cycle II meeting I to 66.7%, and cycle II meeting II 100%. Keywords: Model Team Quiz and Cooperation

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematical problem-solving skills of fifth grade students of UPT SDN 004 Pulau Terap for the 2022/2023 academic year, with a total of 15 students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle being held in 2 meetings. Data collection was carried out by testing problem solving abilities. Teacher and student observation sheets as the level of implementation and achievement in using the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model. The results of problem solving abilities can be seen from the results of the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II tests. In the pre-cycle test the average score was 57.72 with a learning completeness percentage of 33.33%, in the first cycle test the first meeting increased with an average student score of 65.99 with a learning completeness percentage of 53.33% and in the first cycle the second meeting also experienced an increase with an average score of 74.21 with a learning completion percentage of 66.67%. In the second cycle the first meeting experienced an increase with an average score of 77.93 with a learning completeness percentage of 73.33%, and in the second cycle the second meeting experienced an increase with an average value of 85.38 with an 80% learning completeness presentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model can improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities in spatial construction material in class V UPT SDN 004 Pulau Terap. Abstract

This research is based on problems that exist in schools, namely the low level of critical thinking skills among students in elementary schools. This research aims to improve critical thinking skills by using the probing prompting model in thematic learning for Class V Elementary School students. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). This research was carried out using the probing prompting model. The subjects of this research were class V students at SDN 014 Ganting Damai, totaling 29 students and was carried out from May to June 2023. Classroom action research procedures were carried out through 4 main steps, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation sheets, tests, documentation. The research instruments used were syllabus, lesson plans, student observation sheets, and test questions. Analysis of the data used in this research is individual learning completeness and classical completeness. Based on the results of the data that has been obtained, it is clear that all indicators of students' critical thinking abilities have increased from cycle I to cycle II using the probing prompting model. It can be seen that in cycle I the average score was 68.96% and in cycle II the average score was obtained. -an average of 88.35%, in cycle II this was categorized as critical. The amount of increase in each indicator varies. Indicators of critical thinking ability to organize thoughts and express them clearly, logically or make sense have increased very well.
