Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah di masa pandemi covid 19. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomenologis. Penelitian dilakukan di MTsS PTP-VI Berangir Kecamatan Na IX-X Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara Tahun Ajaran 2020-2021. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah bidang kurikulum, dan guru bidang studi. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah dilakukan dengan tiga siklus yaitu siklus 1 berupa kontrak, siklus 2 berupa pelaksanaan, dan siklus 3 berupa penguatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah di masa pandemi covid 19 berlangsung dengan baik. Meskipun pembelajaran menggunakan sistem giliran kelas per minggunya, tetapi tidak menurunkan semangat kepala madrasah untuk tetap meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar mengajar di MTsS PTP-VI Berangir. Kegiatan belajar mengajar di MTsS PTP-VI Berangir dilakukan dengan tatap muka dengan sitem bergantian kelas setiap minggunya. MTsS PTP-VI Berangir berada di zona hijau sehingga diizinkan oleh tim gugus tugas covid 19 Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara untuk melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar secara tatap muka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan strategi Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) di SMAN 3 Kota Sungai Penuh guna meningkatkan citra dan daya saing sekolah. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas strategi Humas yang telah diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial, serta keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat dalam kegiatan sekolah berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan transparansi dan keterbukaan informasi. Hal ini berdampak positif pada jumlah pendaftaran siswa dan partisipasi masyarakat. Namun, tantangan tetap ada, terutama dalam keterbatasan waktu dan sumber daya guru serta staf dalam menjalankan program Humas secara optimal. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, sekolah perlu meningkatkan pelatihan komunikasi bagi tenaga pendidik dan mengalokasikan sumber daya secara lebih efektif. Selain itu, inovasi dalam pembelajaran, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta keterlibatan alumni juga menjadi strategi utama dalam meningkatkan daya saing sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini sejalan dengan teori komunikasi organisasi dan inovasi pendidikan yang menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan masyarakat dan adaptasi terhadap teknologi dalam membangun citra institusi pendidikan yang unggul.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan evaluasi manajemen platform merdeka mengajar (PMM) di SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh. Lingkup evaluasi yang digunakan mencakup evaluasi program yang terdiri dari empat tingkatan, yaitu evaluasi konteks, input, proses, dan produk. Penelitian ini berfokus pada evaluasi program pemakaian metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Teknik analisis data meliputi penyajian data, penyederhanaan data, verifikasi data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diuji melalui pengujian kredibilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmasi. Sumber informasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan 3 orang guru senior. Hasil dari penelitian ditemukan bahwa platform merdeka mengajar (PMM) adalah inovasi berbasis teknologi yang dirancang untuk membantu pendidik memahami, menerapkan, dan mengembangkan Kurikulum Merdeka (context). Diluncurkan dalam program merdeka belajar episode 15, PMM menawarkan berbagai fitur, seperti penyusunan perangkat ajar, asesmen siswa, dan berbagi hasil karya, yang dirancang untuk mendukung kebutuhan guru dalam berbagai aspek pengajaran (input). Namun, implementasi PMM di SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh menghadapi tantangan, terutama bagi guru senior yang kesulitan beradaptasi akibat kurangnya literasi teknologi dan minimnya pelatihan formal. Peran manajemen sekolah melalui supervisi, pelatihan berkelanjutan, dan kebijakan pendukung menjadi sangat penting dalam proses pendampingan guru untuk memanfaatkan platform ini secara maksimal (process). Dengan pendekatan yang inklusif dan dukungan yang memadai, PMM memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan kualitas pendidikan di era digital (product)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila dalam kurikulum merdeka di SMA Negeri 6 Kerinci. Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini mencakup perencanaan, implementasi dan evaluasi dalam P5. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan teknik mengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa implementasi manajemen P5 pada Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Negeri 6 Kerinci sudah terealisasi dengan baik, tetapi juga ada terdapat beberapa kendala dalam implementasi P5 ini mengacu kepada enam dimensi P5, terdapat 3 dimensi yang menjadi kendala yaitu Beriman, Bertakwa kepada Tuhan yang Maha Esa, dan Berakhlak Mulia; Mandiri; dan Bernalar Kritis. Perlu disadari bahwa implmentasi manajeman projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila di SMA Negeri 6 Kerinci belum berjalan sepenuhnya terlebih lagi di 3 dimensi tersebut, oleh karena itu, dengan adanya perbaikan tersebut dapat menghasilkan siswa yang berkarakter pancasila.

Abstract

The role of school supervisors is crucial in enhancing the quality of education; however, their effectiveness in the context of junior high schools in rural areas has yet to be extensively studied. This research aims to analyze the role of school supervisors in controlling teacher quality at SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh, focusing on six indicators: inspecting, advising, monitoring, coordinating, reporting, and performing leadership. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with one school supervisor and two teachers. The results indicate that the supervisor has performed their role quite well, but some areas need improvement, such as contextualizing supervision, balancing monitoring efforts, and decisiveness in decision-making. Based on these findings, the research proposes a new model called "Integrative-Contextual School Supervision" (PSIK), which integrates various aspects of the supervisor's role within a holistic and adaptive framework. This model offers a more comprehensive approach to school supervision, considering the complexities of contemporary educational contexts. Implementing PSIK can improve the effectiveness of school supervision, teacher quality, and, ultimately, the overall quality of education. This study paves the way for developing school supervision practices that are more responsive to the challenges of 21st-century education.Keywords: School Supervisor, Controlling, Teacher Quality

Abstract

This activity aims to analyze the effect of using the Quizizz application on student learning outcomes on negotiation text material. Quizizz is a game-based learning application that can be used to create interactive and interesting quizzes. This research was conducted in several stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the use of Quizizz significantly increased students' motivation and understanding of negotiation text material. Students became more active and motivated in learning, and showed an increase in participation and learning outcomes. The immediate feedback from Quizizz helped students understand and correct errors in real time. It was also found that Quizizz supports student-centered learning, by constructivist and behaviorism theories. However, constraints such as device availability and internet connection need to be considered to optimize the use of this application. It is recommended that schools ensure adequate technological support and provide training to teachers regarding the use of Quizizz. Gradual implementation and periodic evaluation are needed to ensure the effectiveness and adaptation of students to this learning method.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in reducing student delinquency among adolescents at SMA Negeri 1 Kerinci. The issue of student delinquency, especially during adolescence, requires special attention from both parents and teachers, as adolescents are the future generation. PAI teachers are responsible not only for imparting knowledge but also for guiding students in understanding the difference between moral and immoral behavior, thereby preventing delinquency. This study focuses on: 1) types and causes of student delinquency, 2) efforts by PAI teachers to reduce delinquency, 3) supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of these efforts, and 4) the changes produced after these efforts were carried out. The method employed is descriptive qualitative research, utilizing data collection techniques that include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion. The results show that the efforts of PAI teachers in reducing student delinquency include preventive, repressive, and curative actions. These efforts include strengthening students' spirituality, enforcing school rules, religious activities, individual and group counseling, and imposing sanctions such as parent notification letters, suspensions, and even expulsion. These efforts have proven effective in reducing delinquency, as evidenced by the decreasing number of delinquency cases recorded by the school counselor (BK/BP).

Abstract

Nowadays, there are many alternatives that can be used to turn into business opportunities, for example in the trade sector there are many things that can be done to expand the scope of the business and develop the business being undertaken, for example using technology to reach more consumers and connections. It can also be done by empowering existing regional potential. This research aims to increase and empower regional and business potential at the Dua Dutri Trading Business (UD) in Bakir village. The research method used in this research is qualitative with the approach used, namely socialization. The data sources in this research were obtained through observations, interviews and documentation. The data in this research was processed using qualitative analysis, where the data obtained was presented in descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that business owners have full responsibility for their company employees and business owners are starting to reconsider and examine more deeply the potential of their region and business owners also agree with the suggestions and input that the author has put forward such as utilizing regional potential, connections. trade, and alternative sales during counseling/socialization.

Abstract

The use of digital technology in higher education learning has become a strategic necessity, but its implementation has not always had an optimal impact on learning quality. This study aims to analyze the effect of optimizing digital technology on students' learning quality in the Islamic Education Management Study Program. The study employed a quantitative approach using a survey. The study population comprised 165 active students, and the sample was drawn using the Slovin formula. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression after satisfying tests of validity, reliability, normality, and linearity. The results showed that optimizing digital technology had a significant effect on student learning, with a significance value of 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05) and a positive regression coefficient of 0.460. The coefficient of determination indicates that optimizing digital technology accounted for 21.5% of the variance in learning quality, with the remainder attributable to factors outside the research model. These findings confirm that digital technology plays a vital role in improving the quality of learning. Still, its effectiveness is highly dependent on the implementation of strategies, lecturer competence, and institutional support. This study recommends integrating pedagogical and managerial approaches to digital technology to continuously improve the quality of learning in Islamic higher education.

Abstract

School libraries can be used strategically to improve students' literacy culture. The purpose of this study is to describe the transformation that occurs in school library management from the perspective of modern educational management. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with librarians, principals, teachers, and students. The results of the study indicate that the library of SMPN 1 Sungai Penuh has experienced significant development in its function and role. The library has evolved from simply a place to store books to a more active learning space that supports students' literacy activities. This transformation is demonstrated by the increased comfort of the reading room, the development of collections relevant to the curriculum, the involvement of librarians in literacy activities, and collaboration between teachers and librarians in the learning process. Sustainable library development depends on the support of the principal and positive responses from students. This is done even though technology is still limited and library management is not yet fully digital. It found that the reading culture and quality of learning in schools are gradually improved through participatory library management.
