Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah melatih keterampilan menulis karya tulis ilmiah mahasiswa. Kegiatan pelatihan diikuti oleh 26 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Jambi semester 6 yang dilaksanakan di ruang L-102 FKIP. Kegiatan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap perencanaan terdiri dari kegiatan menganalisis permasalahan, menentukan metode pelatihan dan mempersiapkan materi pelatihan. Tahap pelaksanaan terdiri dari menyampaikan materi pelatihan, membuat karya tulis ilmiah, presentasi hasil. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman dan ketercapaian dari kegiatan pelatihan. Nilai ketercapaian kegiatan pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah berdasarkan isian angket mahasiswa sebesar 4,60 dengan kriteria sangat baik.

The purpose of this study was to test (1) the effectiveness of the application of the project-based learning model on improving critical thinking skills (2) the effectiveness of the application of the project-based learning model on improving student creativity skills. The subjects used in this study were students who took the class B media script writing course at the Yogyakarta State University Educational Technology Study Program in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is a quasi-experimental type of research with a one group pretest-posttest scheme design. Data on students' critical thinking skills and creativity were obtained using a questionnaire before and after the application of the project-based learning model in lecture activities. Data on critical thinking skills and student creativity were then tested using paired samples t test. The results of the paired samples t test found critical thinking ability and creativity each showed a value of 0.00. In this study, it can be concluded that (1) the application of the project-based learning model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills (2) the application of the project-based learning model is effective in improving students' creativity.

The purpose of this study was to examine the quality of virtual laboratory media utilized for developing applications on acid-base materials. This is a development study that employs the 4 D approach, which consists of the steps of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instruments used to assess the quality of the virtual laboratory media developed were open and closed questionnaires using a Likert scale. Virtual laboratory media products that have been developed are assessed by media experts, material experts, and field trials on a limited and small scale. The limited and small scale trial samples were Jambi University Chemistry Education Study Program students consisting of 5 students in the limited scale test and 15 students in the small scale trial. The results of this study consist of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data in the form of input and suggestions from media experts, material experts, and field trials who have stated that the virtual laboratory media developed has been declared suitable for use. Quantitative data is converted into a level of quality of virtual laboratory media based on assessments from limited and small-scale field tests. The results of the quantitative assessment on a small scale obtained an average of 87.26%, while on a limited scale obtained an average of 91.84%.

The objective of this study was to determine whether team games tournaments supported by the quizizz application improved student learning independence. Students from the Jambi University Chemistry Education Study Program took courses in chemistry mathematics in classes A and B in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent group design, with class A as the control class and class B as the experimental class. A questionnaire was used to collect data on students' learning independence both before and after the team games event that was made possible by the Quizizz application to make sure the data from both groups were homogeneous and normally distributed, the initial independent data from both sample classes were checked for both normality and homogeneity. The independent-samples t test is then used to compare data on students' learning independence before and after the team games tournament with the use of the Quizizz application. A significant value of 0.005 in the independent-samples t test results indicated that there was an increase in student learning independence following the implementation of the team games tournament supported by the Quizizz application. Based on these findings, the study came to the conclusion that enhancing student learning independence might be achieved through the use of the Quizizz app in conjunction with a team games event.

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the audio script of meaning and purpose in micro learning courses developed. This development research uses the 4 D model, which consists of definition, design, development, and dissemination stages. In the developed micro-learning course, the quality of the audio script of meaning and purpose was assessed through open and closed questionnaires using a Likert scale. The audio script of the meaning and purpose of the micro-learning course that has been developed is then assessed by media and material experts, and field tested on a limited and small scale. The limited scale trial sample consisted of 10 students on a limited scale and 25 students on a small scale. Consisting of both quantitative and qualitative data, this study includes feedback and recommendations from media experts, material experts, and field trials. The results of the field trial have shown that the designed audio script of the meaning and purpose of micro-learning courses can be used well. Based on the assessment from the limited and small-scale field tests, the quantitative data was converted into the quality level of the audio script of the meaning and purpose of microlearning courses. The results of the limited scale field test showed an average of 87.14%, and the limited scale field test showed an average of 91.86%.

Finding out how well project-based learning works in biochemistry practicum courses to foster student creativity and teamwork was the aim of this study. One research sample class and a pre-experiment design were employed in this investigation. The samples used in this study were Jambi University Chemistry Education Study Program students who took the Biochemistry Practicum course, class R-002, during the 2023–2024 academic year. Questionnaire tools were employed in this study to gather data on teamwork and creativity. The difference in student creativity and collaboration data before and after the application of the project-based learning model was then tested for normality to determine the distribution of data for each variable and paired sample t-test to determine the effectiveness of the application of the project-based learning model. The significance results based on the paired sample t-test showed 0.000 for the creativity variable and 0.003 for the student collaboration variable. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the project-based learning model in biochemistry practicum courses is effective in increasing student creativity and collaboration.

The use of interactive evaluation media in learning is very necessary. This is in order to provide skills to students as prospective teachers to support the implementation of learning and learning media that are favored by students today. The purpose of this training activity is to improve students' skills in developing interactive evaluation media. The participants of the training activities are students of the Chemistry Education Study Program consisting of 21 6th semester students. The training activities for developing interactive evaluation media include the preparation stage of the activity, the implementation stage of the activity, and the evaluation of the activity. Student trainees as prospective teachers need to be equipped with skills that support the implementation of learning and learning media that are favored by students today. The training activities that have been carried out show that students are interested in developing interactive evaluation media to make assessment activities more fun and less rigid.

This training aims to improve student skills in publishing articles in sinta accredited journals. The training activities were attended by students of the Chemistry Education Study Program, Jambi University, semester 6, totaling 26 people. Training activities were held in room L-102 FKIP Jambi University on May 9, 2023. The implementation of training activities consists of three stages of training activities, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The preparation stage consists of problem analysis activities, determining training methods, and preparing training materials. The implementation stage included the delivery of training materials, demonstration of the use of the Sinta website, and discussion activities. Evaluation activities are carried out to determine the achievement of training activities that have been carried out. Based on the results of the evaluation of training activities to improve student skills in publishing articles to sinta accredited journals, there was an increase in competence in finding references to sinta accredited articles and publishing articles in sinta accredited journals. The achievement of the implementation of training activities obtained a score of 4.34 which was classified as a very good category.

Students' skills in expressing an idea in the form of writing in the form of scientific work need to bSusing the EndNote application in improving the quality of students' scientific papers. Training activities were carried out for students of the Chemistry Education Study Program at FKIP Jambi University as a debriefing effort in preparing students' final thesis assignments. The training activities consisted of three stages of activities, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. At the end of the training activities, students filled out a questionnaire regarding the evaluation of activities and the achievement of training activities. The result of this activity is an increase in students' understanding and skills in using the EndNote application in improving the quality of students' scientific papers. Based on the questionnaire filling, students assessed that the training activities carried out were very good with a score of 4.53.

Mahasiswa sebagai calon guru perlu dilakukan pembekalan sejak semester awal untuk memperoleh pengalaman sebanyak mungkin agar mampu meningkatkan kreativitas dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa sebagai calon guru perlu memiliki kemampuan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran inovatif dan interaktif seperti media quizizz. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa sebagai calon guru melalui pengembangan quizizz sebagai media evaluasi pembelajaran. Kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan quizizz sebagai media evaluasi pembelajaran meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan kemampuan dalam mengembangkan media evaluasi pembelajaran seperti quizizz. Mahasiswa memahami setiap fitur yang tersedia pada aplikasi quizizz. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan, mahasiswa merasa senang dapat mengembangkan media evaluasi pembelajaran dengan baik yang nanti dapat diterapkan pada kelas sesungguhnya setelah lulus dari kegiatan perkuliahan dan menjadi guru. Besarnya manfaat dari kegiatan pelatihan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan media evaluasi pembelajaran, disarankan kegiatan pelatihan dapat dilaksanakan dengan media evaluasi yang lain dan diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran
