Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai ujung tombak dalam proses pembelajaran dituntut untuk terus mengembangkan diri dan meningkatkan kompetensinya. Kompetensi, kinerja pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan serta keberhasilan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan; 1) untuk mengetahui pengertian kompetensi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, 2) untuk mengetahui kompetensi pendidik dalam Al-Qur’an, hadist dan sisdiknas, 3) untuk mengetahui upaya peningkatan dan pengembangan kompetensi pendidik serta tenaga kependidikan, 4) untuk mengetahui penguatan kompetensi madrasah, 5) untuk mengetahui sertifikasi guru, dan 6) untuk mengetahui strategi peningkatan kinerja pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Jember. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap pelaksanaan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik di MAN 3 Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kompetensi professional dan pedagogik, serta kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran setelah mengikuti program pelatihan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa investasi dalam pengembangan program berkelanjutan bagi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan.Kata kunci:  Kompetensi kinerja, Pendidik, Tenaga kependidikan

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of the Jember District Government Scholarship on the Improvement of the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of students in the Islamic Education Management program at the State Islamic University Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. The scholarship serves as an additional support program for students to complete their higher education programs, based on their main considerations of achievements and specific excellence they possess. The existence of this scholarship program can alleviate the financial burden on financially disadvantaged students. Moreover, these scholarships can also enhance the quality of education in Indonesia. The main focus of this research is on the specific influence of the Jember District Government Scholarship on students in the Islamic Education Management program at the State Islamic University Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative method using online questionnaire data collection, followed by regression analysis to determine the relationship between scholarship variables and GPA improvement. The findings indicate a significant positive influence between receiving the Jember District Government Scholarship and the improvement of the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Therefore, it can be concluded that the provision of the Jember District Government Scholarship can contribute positively to the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), thus having significant implications for educational policies and student financial assistance.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to analyze the processes of promotion, transfer, and termination of employment (layoffs) for educators and educational staff at MTs. Al Barokah Annur. Using an observational approach and in-depth interviews, the study gathers data from management, educators, and staff to understand the dynamics of human resource management in this educational institution.The findings indicate that promotions at MTs. Al Barokah Annur are based on performance evaluations, experience, and individual contributions to the development of the school. This process is considered transparent; however, there are still challenges in communication between management and staff. Position transfers are often carried out to meet organizational needs and enhance the effectiveness of the teaching team, although some staff feel less involved in the decision-making process.On the other hand, terminations occur due to violations of the code of ethics and institutional policies, as well as unstable financial conditions. The research found that layoffs can negatively impact the morale and motivation of remaining staff, highlighting the need for a more sensitive approach to handling these issues. verall, this study provides a clear picture of human resource management practices at MTs. Al Barokah Annur and emphasizes the importance of fair policies and open communication to minimize conflicts and improve the welfare of educators and staff. Recommendations are also provided for developing more inclusive policies to create a more harmonious work environment. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses promosi, pemindahan, dan pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di MTs. Al Barokah Annur. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan observasi dan wawancara mendalam, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari manajemen, pendidik, dan Promosi, Pemindahan dan Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja Pendidik atau Tenaga Kependidikan untuk memahami dinamika yang terjadi dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi di MTs. Al Barokah Annur didapat berdasarkan evaluasi kinerja, pengalaman, dan kontribusi individu terhadap pengembangan sekolah. Proses ini dianggap transparan, namun masih terdapat tantangan dalam komunikasi antara manajemen dan staf. Pemindahan posisi sering kali dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan organisasi dan meningkatkan efektivitas tim pengajar, meskipun beberapa staf merasa kurang terlibat dalam proses pengambilan keputusan tersebut. di sisi lain, pemutusan hubungan kerja terjadi akibat pelanggaran kode etik dan kebijakan lembaga, serta kondisi keuangan yang tidak stabil. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa PHK dapat berdampak negatif pada moral dan motivasi staf yang tersisa, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih sensitif dalam menangani masalah ini. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang praktik manajemen sumber daya manusia di MTs. Al Barokah Annur dan menyoroti pentingnya kebijakan yang adil dan komunikasi yang terbuka dalam meminimalkan konflik serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Rekomendasi juga diberikan untuk pengembangan kebijakan yang lebih inklusif demi menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih harmonis.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has created new conflicts within educational institutions, especially madrasas. Moreover, the Tapal Kuda is an area that has a different culture and language so it requires proper conflict management. For this reason, this research is focused on three places, namely MAN 1 Jember, MAN Bondowoso, and MAN 2 Banyuwangi which are in the center of the Tapal Kuda. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of identification, classification, and problem-solving strategies related to conflict management in Madrasas after the Covid-19 pandemic in the Tapal Kuda area. Data mining using observation, documentation, and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman models, testing the validity of the data using technical triangulation. The results showed that 1) The process of identifying post-covid-19 madrasa conflict management problems in the Tapal Kuda area based on Tosi's conflict theory is still in the first stage in the form of antendants of conflict, 2) The majority conflict classification process is with intragroup, for MAN 2 Banyuwangi with intragroup and intergroup because it deals with stakeholders outside the school, 3) Conflict resolution strategies are in an integrative style because the three madrasas involve many parties and remain open to suggestions and criticism.

Abstract

The School Health Unit / UKS is an integral element in the management of special services in the field of school health. The management of this special service basically aims to support the learning process and meet the specific needs of students in the school environment. This research aims to determine how is the management of the uks at State Vocational School 5 Jember. This research uses qualitative methods and a field research approach. Data collected through interview techniques, observation and documentation. The results of this research can provide guidance to schools to improve the quality and efficiency of health services, as well as promote healthy lifestyles among students. Apart from that, this research also provides a valuable contribution to the development of education and health policies at local and national levels. The benefits of this research have a major impact in improving students’ welfare and health. Through this research, effective efforts can also be identified in ensuring the provision of optimal health services in the school environment

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memahami manajemen sumber daya pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di Madrasah Aliyah AL Mubarok Jember. Dengan pengakuan terhadap peran penting manajemen yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi proses perencanaan, rekrutmen, penempatan, dan pengembangan pendidik serta tenaga administrasi, serta dampaknya terhadap motivasi dan kinerja mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi, melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan staf administrasi. Faktor pendukung seperti dukungan administratif dan ketersediaan fasilitas di lingkungan sekolah juga diperhatikan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan administratif, lingkungan kerja yang positif, hubungan kolegial, dedikasi terhadap lembaga, dan program pengembangan profesional yang konsisten memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap motivasi staf dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode motivasi yang diterapkan di Madrasah Aliyah, seperti program pengembangan profesional, penghargaan, dan keterlibatan pendidik dalam pengambilan keputusan, secara signifikan berkontribusi pada peningkatan motivasi dan efektivitas pendidikan. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting untuk meningkatkan sistem manajemen di Madrasah Aliyah, menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih berkualitas dan berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu madrasah dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research describes cooperative exploration and canteen services at SMPN 02 Rampipuji. The importance of managing cooperative and canteen services in schools is increasingly being realized with changes in the consumption patterns of school residents. The aim of this research is to develop a more structured service plan that integrates cooperative and canteen principles into operational activities, which is expected to improve overall management. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The population is all administrators and members of the cooperative and canteen of SMPN 02 Rampipuji, totaling 6 people. The research results highlight that cooperative and canteen managers have planned service development. However, to achieve this, it is necessary to improve the profit distribution system based on the activities carried out. The potential is to guide schools and cooperative and canteen managers in improving and enhancing the quality of their services. The findings show that although cooperatives and canteens operate, their management does not fully meet structured cooperative standards. The practical implications used in the research mean improvements to improve cooperative and canteen service standards according to appropriate cooperative and canteen SOPs.

Abstract

The Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Situbondo Islamic Boarding School is one of the prominent Islamic boarding schools in East Java, which has an education system and alums who can be said to have a tolerant character and are known to be moderate so that they can respect other groups. This research aims to describe and discover the dynamics of the ethnic diversity of Santri, strategies for forming the character of tolerant Santri through managing ethnic diversity, and the implications of forming the character of tolerant Santri through managing ethnic diversity at the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School in Situbondo. The research was carried out using an interpretive or post-positivistic paradigm approach, a qualitative approach. The type of research carried out was a case study using a case study research design. Determining subjects using purposive data analysis techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. Data validity uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the research show that the strategy for building the character of tolerant students through managing ethnic diversity at the Situbondo Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School is carried out in a structured manner through systematic and disciplined dormitory placement and schedules assisted by IKSASS administrators. The placement of various ethnically diverse dormitories in one dormitory room makes interaction patterns mutually open, and meeting various cultures makes students appreciate differences.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure the extent to which confiscation of cellphones during teaching and learning (KBM) affects the teaching and learning process at MAN 1 Jember. This research uses a quantitative approach with a comparative causal research type and collects data through questionnaires designed for subject teachers and homeroom teachers. The results of this correlation analysis show that there is a strong and significant relationship between the cellphone confiscation policy variable and the KBM orderly variable. These findings provide empirical evidence that the instruments used are valid and reliable in measuring the constructs studied. Based on the results of the t test, the calculated t value for the Orderly Learning Process variable is 7.714, with a significance value (Sig.) of less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the cellphone confiscation policy variable has a positive and significant influence on the creation of the teaching and learning process. This means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that the cellphone confiscation policy has an influence in creating an orderly KBM process.
