Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang analisis pembelajaran whole person approach di kelas inklusif pada Sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif di Kec. Pauh Kota Padang. Whole person approach yang merupakan core feature pendidikan inklusif perlu dilihat keterterapannya dalam pembelajaran di kelas inklusif. Tingkat penerapan Whole person approach akan menjadi acuan keberhasilan implementasi pendidikan inklusif. Metode deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah guru yang mengajar di Sekolah penyelenggara Pendidikan Inklusif di Kec. Pauh. Hasilnya, asesmen berkala belum dilakukan secara optimal terhadap semua peserta didik yang juga mempengaruhi terhadap proses perencanan pembelajaran yang masih jarang (60%) didasarkan pada hasil asesmen. Kemudian untuk penggunaan metode dan media sudah mulai digunakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa. Sementara untuk proses evaluasi pembelajaran belum dilakukan per individu sesuai dengan kapasitas belajar masing-masing siswa. Di sisi lain, pengelolaan kelas sudah disesuikan dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Whole person approach belum secara optimal diterapkan di sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kemampuan mengenal uang bagi anak tunagrahita dengan menggunakan aplikasi bermain uang rupiah, yang tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas aplikasi bermain uang rupiah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal uang bagi anak tunagrahita kelas IX SMPLB SLB Perwari Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain Multiple Baseline Across Subjects Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu tiga subjek siswa tunagrahita kelas IX SMPLB. Ketiga subjek memiliki permasalahan dalam hal bina diri salah satunya mengenal uang. Penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi bermain uang rupiah sebagai variabel bebas, dan variabel terikatnya yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal uang. Teknik dan alat pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa instrumen tes. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dari kecenderungan stabilitas mean level A1 pada subjek pertama (A) yaitu 18 lalu naik pada saat intervensi (B) yaitu 61,2 dan pada subjek kedua (ZI) didapatkan mean level A1 21,7 lalu naik pada saat intervensi (B) yaitu 50, sedangkan pada subjek ketiga (JI) didapatkan mean level A1 13,3 lalu naik pada saat intervensi (B) yaitu 45. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa, aplikasi bermain uang rupiah efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal uang bagi siswa tunagrahita.

Abstract

Class climate plays a dual role as a dependent and independent variable. As a dependent variable, the class climate is influenced by several variables. On the other hand, as an independent variable, the class climate is correlated with other variables. This research aims to confirm the studies that have been done before and ensure that these related variables must be increased or become the impact of increasing the classroom climate. This type of research is a literature study that explores more than 40 articles about classroom climate conducted in Indonesia and other countries. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that among the variables that influence or contribute to classroom climate are simulation strategies, student attitudes, teacher behaviour, and integration between media and learning approaches. Variables that are affected by classroom climate include student behaviour, student achievement, student motivation, learning outcomes, and bullying behaviour. Therefore, teachers and principals are recommended to increase the variables that affect classroom climate and the classroom climate itself because they will also affect other variables. This study convinces the reader that classroom climate is an intermediary variable which is a key factor for improving the learning process.

Abstract

One of the factors causing a child to be born with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is prenatal, which is when the child is still in the womb. This study aims to find out what prenatal factors affect children born with ASD. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a retrospective approach. Data was collected by distributing online questionnaires to 33 respondents. The data were analyzed by univariate. The results showed that 51.5% of the risk of ASD children increased in YPPA when the mother was exposed to cigarette smoke, which was 17 people. Maternal emotional state factors 15.2%, complications during pregnancy 12.1%, drug consumption 21.2%, disease history 9.1%, and nutritional state 15.2%. There are no factors that cause children to be born with ASD from maternal age and gestational age. Exposure to secondhand smoke has a significant impact on the risk of children born with ASD

Abstract

This article discusses about the contact sheet in parenting program which is useful for supporting learning during a pandemic. Participants in this article were 17 special school teachers and parents of students. Using the seminar and workshop method, teachers and parents are trained to develop comprehensive contact sheets to support learning during a pandemic. The seminar activities presented two experts, namely special education experts and educational technology. Workshop activities were carried out for five days in a row to assist teachers in which they can be more skilled in compiling comprehensive contact sheets. The result of this training is expected to support the achievement of learning objectives during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as on weekdays later through online and non-online home learning activities.

Abstract

Anak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme (GSA) sering mengalami masalah metabolisme yang memerlukan diet khusus Casein Free Gluten Free (CFGF) untuk mengelola gejala seperti gangguan tidur, fokus, dan perilaku agresif. Penerapan diet CFGF sering terhambat oleh faktor anak dan orang tua, termasuk ketidakpatuhan orang tua dan ketersediaan makanan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk  memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi orang tua anak GSA dalam membuat Autic Cookies berbahan dasar Casein Free Gluten Free (CFGF). Kegiatan dilakukan di SLB Autisma YPPA Padang dengan tahapan utama sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Sosialisasi mencakup ceramah dan diskusi mengenai pentingnya diet CFGF, sementara pelatihan melibatkan praktek langsung pembuatan lima jenis cookies CFGF di bawah bimbingan nara sumber PKM Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur perubahan pemahaman orang tua serta umpan balik mengenai pelatihan. Sosialisasi meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua tentang diet CFGF, yang diikuti oleh pelatihan praktis yang sukses. Orang tua secara aktif terlibat dalam proses pembuatan cookies,  hasil akhir ditimbang dan dikemas dalam botol jar. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan orang tua tetapi juga memperkuat penerapan diet CFGF, yang diakui sebagai diet penting untuk mendukung keberhasilan intervensi anak GSA.

Abstract

Early Intervention Behavioral Therapy as a method has been shown to aid children diagnosed with Autism in adjusting behavior through Applied Behavior Analysis. While there are three levels of ABA, EIBI does not provide a concrete metric of what separates between the individual levels. The current study focuses on differentiating the electrical patterns found in EEG in children and plans to explore how EIBI can serve across the ABA spectrum. The electrodes F3, F4, C3, C4, P3, P4, O1, and O2 were used to capture the EEG signals and were utilized in estimating the power, spectral density using the Welch method. It was observed during the statistical examination that there existed differences in the results of power across the frequency band amongst the groups. The higher levels of Alpha lead us to believe that there was better emotional management. The chronic group was shown to have more prominent Delta power reflecting weakened control. Comparatively, beginning level’s theta power was found to be higher across all groups showcasing change in attention requiring tasks. Due to greater focus being placed on the lower range frequency activity there existed no noteworthy changes in the Beta and Gamma portions. These findings highlight the role of EIBI in neuromodulation in the Alpha and Delta bands, and its application in the enhancement of emotional and neurological stability. EEG is an effective measure as it quantifies EIBI outcomes. Further studies should examine the long-term effects and enhance curriculum concepts to increase the efficacy of the interventions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan token ekonomi dalam mengurangi perilaku agresif berupa mencubit dan menendang pada siswa dengan ADHD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang berbentuk Single Subject Research (SSR). Studi ini dilakuakn di SD Pertiwi 3 Padang, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Alat pengumpul data di penelitian ini ialah instrumen observasi pencatatan kejadian berupa lembar periksa (tally sheet) yang berfungsi untuk mengetahui berapa jumlah frekuensi perilaku agresif pada anak. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwasanya penerapan token ekonomi bisa mengurangi perilaku agresif mencubit dan menendang siswa Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder yang dibuktikan dengan berkurangnya frekuensi perilaku mencubit dan menendang pada anak selama pembelajarandan di luar kelas berdasarkan data pada lampiran lembar periksa (tally sheet).

Abstract

This research aims to develop an instrument to measure the implementation of inclusive education in universities. The research was developed using a mixed-methods approach, which combines the Theoretical Framework and Needs Assessment. The first stage of the research involved literature review to investigate the relevant instrument and references that support the development of an instrument for measuring inclusive education in universities. The second stage was a needs assessment conducted at universities in Padang. The subjects of the research were 47 university students from four universities in Padang. The data were analyzed using focus group discussion. The study of the index for inclusion for higher education was compared to the results of the research. Findings of the research showed that five aspects are needed to develop the instrument of index for inclusion in universities. Lecturers and students also selected the five aspects to be the obligatory aspects that should be placed in the instrument of the implementation of inclusive education. The instrument developed in this research is the instrument of index for inclusion, which is divided into five aspects. The five aspects were developed based on a literature review. The results of the research are expected to be the guide in measuring the implementation of inclusive education in universities and help students with special needs to be provided with physical and non-physical accessibilities in universities.
