Abstract

Developing basic locomotor skills is crucial for elementary students, yet conventional teaching methods at SDN 1 Boyolali have led to low engagement and suboptimal outcomes. This study explores the "Motion Circuit" play-based model as a solution, using fun and interactive activities to create a more engaging learning environment for locomotor skills. Through Classroom Action Research (CAR), the model is applied in planning, action, observation, and reflection cycles, allowing for real-time assessment and refinement of teaching strategies. CAR’s structured, collaborative approach supports skill acquisition and effective learning, which the "Motion Circuit" model aims to achieve at SDN 1 Boyolali. Over two research cycles, results showed a significant increase in competencies across affective, cognitive, and psychomotor domains, with outcomes of 100% affective, 82.86% cognitive, and 97.14% psychomotor benchmarks achieved by Cycle II. This engaging model proved highly effective for improving student motivation, comprehension, and physical skills, making it a valuable alternative to traditional Physical Education methods by promoting skill acquisition and a positive learning attitude.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengembangan greenhouse milik ibu-ibu PKK Desa Tambakan Kecamatan Jogonalan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Tambakan. Kegiatan ini sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat melalui Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kelompok 117 Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta di sektor ketahanan pangan dan pengentasan kemiskinan. Kegiatan pengembangan ini meliputi membuat rancangan desain untuk pembangunan greenhouse yang baru, merenovasi bak tampungan air, memasang poster edukasi, dan membantu kegiatan sehari-hari di greenhouse. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan dapat membantu mengedukasi masyarakat, membantu pengelola greenhouse dalam merencanakan pembangunan greenhouse yang baru, dan mengoptimalkan kegiatan penanaman selada hidroponik di greenhouse mulai dari penyemaian hingga masa panen. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap tingkat edukasi, ekonomi, kesejahteraan, dan lingkungan di masyarakat setempat, khususnya untuk pihak pengelola greenhouse.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat desa melalui pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan ekonomi kreatif sekaligus menjaga lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan pembuatan lilin aromaterapi dari minyak jelantah dan pemasaran produk secara online menggunakan aplikasi Shopee di Desa Tambakan, Klaten. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan keterampilan produksi dan manajerial, serta pelatihan pemasaran digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan teknis peserta dalam produksi lilin serta kemampuan pemasaran digital yang tercermin dari 80% peserta memiliki dan mengelola toko online aktif. Selain meningkatkan pendapatan, pelatihan ini juga berhasil mendorong terciptanya kelompok usaha bersama dan meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat. Integrasi produksi berbasis aset dan pemasaran digital efektif dalam memberdayakan masyarakat desa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Senam Anak Indonesia (SAI) merupakan program gerak nasional berbasis budaya lokal yang dirancang untuk mengembangkan keterampilan motorik dasar, kebugaran jasmani, serta ekspresi diri anak usia sekolah dasar. Namun, implementasi SAI di sekolah masih menghadapi kendala, terutama minimnya pelatihan bagi guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK). Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman, sikap, dan motivasi guru Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) terhadap SAI melalui workshop partisipatif. Sebanyak 70 guru PJOK dari tujuh Karesidenan Surakarta mengikuti pelatihan selama dua hari yang mencakup sesi teori, praktik terbimbing, serta praktik mandiri dan refleksi. Evaluasi menggunakan angket skala Likert yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil menunjukan terdapat peningkatan signifikan terhadap skor kesenangan pada respon sangat setuju dari 4.3% menjadi 67.1%,  keyakinan pada respon sangat setuju dari 0% menjadi 72.9%, minat pada respon sangat tertarik dari 0% menjadi 72.9%, kreativitas pada respon sangat setuju dari 5.7% menjadi 68.6%, dan motivasi pada respon sangat termotivasi dari 8.6% menjadi 71.4%. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa workshop partisipatif efektif meningkatkan kompetensi konseptual dan afektif guru, sekaligus menempatkan mereka sebagai calon early adopters inovasi pembelajaran jasmani berbasis budaya.

Abstract

The learning approach plays a crucial role in enhancing technical skills in tennis. However, in practice, theoretical approaches are often overlooked, as most sports activities are carried out directly on the court. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the effects of various learning approaches and physical factors on tennis drive stroke skills. Specifically, the study analyzed the impact of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach, the influence of arm muscle strength and gender, as well as the interaction among these factors on the improvement of drive stroke performance. An experimental method with a 2×2 factorial design was employed, involving 64 student participants. Drive stroke performance was assessed using the Forehand Groundstroke Tennis Test Accuracy (Jennifer Love Hewitt Test). Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25.0, with normality and homogeneity tests set at α = 0.05. The results indicated that the TaRL learning method yielded Sig. = 0.00 < 0.05, suggesting that this method can enhance technical performance in tennis. Furthermore, arm muscle strength and gender obtained Sig. = 0.667 > 0.05, indicating that physical strength and gender do not play a critical role in drive stroke outcomes. Finally, no interaction was found among learning approach, arm muscle strength, and gender on drive stroke skills, with Sig. = 0.490 > 0.05. These findings highlight the importance of personalized learning strategies over physical attributes in developing skills for the tennis drive stroke.

Abstract

Currently, sprint coaches do not yet have a standardized reference or guideline as a parameter for recruiting talented prospective athletes. This study aimed to develop a sprint sports talent selection test instrument for elementary school students. The research employed a research and development (R&D) approach with stages including needs analysis, design, and field trials. Data were collected through literature review, interviews with coaches, and discussions with athletics experts. The developed instrument consisted of anthropometric and biomotor tests. Data analysis was carried out through content validity testing by experts, as well as construct validity and reliability testing using statistical procedures. The results showed that among male students (N = 11), no participants were categorized as highly talented (0%) or untalented (0%), with 25% categorized as talented, 53.41% as moderately talented, and 21.59% as less talented. Among female students (N = 8), 4.69% were categorized as highly talented, 20.31% as talented, 60.94% as moderately talented, 14.06% as less talented, and 0% as untalented. This distribution reflects variations in sprinting ability among students, with the majority falling into the moderately talented category. It can thus be concluded that the developed sprint talent selection test instrument effectively maps the potential of elementary school students in an objective and measurable manner. These findings provide a strong foundation for coaches and educational institutions in identifying, training, and developing young athletes more effectively from an early age.

Abstract

Decreased physical activity in the elderly is a problem today, lack of physical activity and not understanding physical activity causes a decrease in fitness and body mass index for the elderly. This study aims to improve the physical fitness and body mass index of the elderly with Aerobic exercise with low-intensity gymnastics. This study was a quasi-experiment with a single-group pretest posttest group design. Subjects involved with purposive sampling techniques with sample criteria with the application of inclusion and exclusion criteria with 40 elderly social services in Surakarta city. Instruments to measure physical fitness used the Rock Port test as far as 1609 m and body mass index measurements of weight and height. Data analysis using prerequisite tests and Kolmogorov Smirnov tests with SPPS 25 for Windows programs. The homogeneity test in this study used Test F. The data obtained were processed using IBM SPSS version 25 and paired T-test. The results showed a significant difference between physical fitness before and after aerobic exercise with low-intensity gymnastics, it was from the results of significance 0.056 (<0.05). While the results showed there was a significant difference between body mass index before and after aerobic exercise with low-intensity gymnastics from the results of significance P = 0.028 (<0.05). From these results, aerobic exercise can improve physical fitness and body mass index in the elderly. So that the elderly can take advantage of these activities to maintain their body health.

Abstract

Penelitian evaluatif ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara kritis implementasi media digital dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), khususnya dalam kaitannya dengan regulasi motivasi belajar intrinsik siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), yang mencakup Persepsi Kegunaan dan kemudahan penggunaan, dengan Self-Determination Theory (SDT) untuk mengkaji pemenuhan kebutuhan kompetensi dan otonomi sebagai prediktor regulasi intrinsik. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei cross-sectional terhadap 270 siswa dari sembilan SMP negeri di Kecamatan Banjarsari. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Persepsi Kegunaan media digital berada pada kategori tinggi (M = 5.89) dan terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan kompetensi siswa (β = 0.45; p 0.01). Sebaliknya, Persepsi Kemudahan Penggunaan, meskipun berada pada kategori tinggi-sedang (M = 5.12), tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan otonomi siswa (β = 0.10; p 0.05). Temuan ini mengindikasikan adanya kesenjangan antara fungsi teknis media digital dan pengalaman otonomi belajar siswa. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas integrasi media digital dalam PJOK tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kegunaannya, tetapi sangat bergantung pada sejauh mana desain dan implementasinya mampu mendukung rasa kendali dan kemandirian siswa. Temuan ini menjadi dasar evaluatif penting bagi pengembangan media digital PJOK yang lebih berorientasi pada kualitas motivasi intrinsik.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani, keterampilan motorik, dan motivasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, mengimplementasikan, dan mengevaluasi efektivitas program pembelajaran intervensif berbasis pendekatan taktis dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa sekolah dasar. Pendekatan taktis dipilih karena menekankan pembelajaran berbasis permainan, pengambilan keputusan, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-komparatif dengan melibatkan 40 siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Palur 2 Sukoharjo yang dibagi menjadi Kelas Mitra dan Kelas Pembanding. Instrumen penelitian berupa Tes Kebugaran Siswa Indonesia yang meliputi koordinasi, kelincahan, daya tahan kardiorespirasi, dan kecepatan gerak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kelas Mitra yang mendapatkan intervensi berbasis pendekatan taktis mengalami peningkatan signifikan pada semua indikator kebugaran dibandingkan dengan Kelas Pembanding, dengan perbedaan gain score yang konsisten pada setiap komponen. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan taktis efektif dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, meningkatkan motivasi, serta mengoptimalkan keterampilan motorik siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani berbasis bukti dan menawarkan alternatif inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Implikasi praktisnya, guru PJOK dapat mengintegrasikan pendekatan taktis dalam kurikulum untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aktif, adaptif, dan lebih bermakna.

Abstract

Study Purpose. Basketball performance involves intermittent high-intensity activity requiring continuous interaction between anaerobic and aerobic energy systems. Although numerous studies have examined metabolic demands in basketball, findings remain fragmented when analyzed separately by playing position, phase of play, or competition level. This systematic review aimed to synthesize existing evidence on how energy system contributions vary across these three contextual dimensions. Materials and Methods. A systematic review was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Literature searches were performed in PubMed, Scopus, SPORTDiscus, and Google Scholar for studies published between 2015 and 2025. Following title abstract screening and full-text evaluation, 15 studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in a qualitative synthesis. A meta-analysis was not performed due to substantial heterogeneity in study designs, outcome measures, and methodological approaches across the included studies. Results. The included studies predominantly investigated elite male basketball players, with fewer studies examining youth athletes and female players. Across studies, consistent patterns of energy system utilization were identified. Guards demonstrated the greatest reliance on ATP-PC and glycolytic systems due to frequent accelerations, changes of direction, and short-duration peak efforts. Forwards exhibited a mixed anaerobic–aerobic metabolic profile reflecting multifunctional tactical roles, whereas centers predominantly relied on the ATP-PC system associated with repeated jumping, physical contact, and explosive actions. Across game phases, fast-break and transition play were dominated by ATP-PC contribution, while prolonged half-court play showed increased glycolytic involvement. Conclusion. Energy system contributions in basketball vary systematically according to playing position, phase of play, and competition level. However, interpretation of these findings is limited by methodological heterogeneity and the indirect estimation of energy system contributions. Despite these limitations, the integrated synthesis provides a comprehensive framework to inform position-specific and context-sensitive conditioning strategies.
