Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of leek farming in Manembo Village, Passi Timur Sub-district, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research lasted for 2 months, from November to December 2019. Sampling in this study was carried out by simple random sampling method with a number of respondents were 25 leek farmers. Primary data were collected through direct interviews using a list of questions (questionnaires) that have been prepared. Secondary data were obtained from the literature related to this research and related institutions. Data analysis used in this research is to use quantitative descriptive analysis and expenditure (production costs) to analyze the income of leek farming. The results showed that the income of onion farming in Manembo Village, East Passi District, Bolaang Mongondow District per farmer on average was IDR. 2,688,800.- *eprm*

Abstract

This study aims to analysis the supply chain mechanism for the cayenne pepper commodity in the Bersehati Market of Manado City during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from observations, direct interviews, and interviews via WhatsApp with traders, consumers, and service providers in the Bersehati market. Secondary data were collected and obtained from employees in the Bersehati Market. The sampling method was carried out using the purposive sampling method (deliberately), namely selecting sources of information in the Bersehati Market. Number of sample used in this study was taken 10 respondents divided into 5 retailers, 3 consumers, 1 service provider, 1 market officer. This study uses descriptive analysis which is an analytical method used to determine the supply chain mechanism of cayenne pepper. The results showed that the supply chain mechanism for the cayenne pepper commodity in the Bersehati Market during the Covid-19 pandemic was related to product flows, financial flows and information flows that had differences in each flow. During the pandemic, there were 6 links that played an active role in the supply chain for the chili commodity at the Bersehati Market.

Abstract

This research aims to figure out about the agricultural extension worker’s performance of their main tasks at Sub-district Taratara Satu, Tomohon City. The types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data obtained through direct interviews with farmers and through questionnaires. The sampling method that’s being used in this study is Purposive Sampling Method; where the researcher chooses the respondents themselves from the farmers. This research used descriptive analysis that namely explaining the data obtained by using words that are assisted by data tables. This research shows that the performance of agricultural extension workers; which can be measured from the main task of extension workers where the results tend to be good because agricultural extension activities are only focused on agricultural core activities. Such as agricultural programs, technical meetings, demonstrations, and courses for the farmers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the profits received by Tempe Sedap “ANDHIKA” home industry business in the village of Bahu, Malalayang Sub-District in one production process. This research was conducted for 3 months from October to December 2020. The research method used in this research is a case study. The data taken in this research is primary data using direct interview techniques with business owners using a list of questions that have been prepared in advance. The data collected in this study were then analyzed using profit analysis by calculating the difference between revenue and the costs used and then continued with the Revenue Cost Ratio (R / C) Analysis formula. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Tempe Sedap "ANDHIKA" business in the Village of Bahu , Malalayang Sub-District, Manado City is very profitable and gets a value of R / C = 1.35 which means this industry is profitable and feasible to be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the supply chain performance of coconut flour at PT. UNICOTIN by focusing on supply chain flow. This research was conducted from December 2019 to September 2020 at PT. UNICOTIN, North Sulawesi. The research method used in this research is case study method. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis method to describe the supply chain performance at PT. UNICOTIN. Supply chain actors are (a) Suppliers of coconut raw materials including farmers, concurrently farmers, collectors, (b) PT. UNICOTIN in Airmadidi, (c) Head office of PT. UNICOTIN in Jakarta, (d) large importers in Germany, Holland, England, Poland, Egypt, Russia and China, and small numbers of other importers who have their respective roles. The supply chain flow consists of information flow starting from the need for coconut flour from the importer to the Jakarta Head Office, the flow of products starting from the supply of raw coconut materials from the supplier, and financial flows in the form of payments from the importer to the Jakarta head office.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the public's perception of hydroponic vegetable plants in Batukota Village, Malalayang District, Manado City. This research was carried out for 3 (three) months, from April to June 2021. This research was carried out in Batukota Village, Malalayang District, Manado City. The method of data collection is done by survey method, the data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with the people of Batukota Village using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the Urban Hydrofarm manager and the Batukota Urban Village Office, as well as other data deemed relevant. Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive analysis with measurements using a Likert Scale. Sampling was carried out by means of Simple Random Sampling as many as 30 samples. The results showed that there were still many people in Batukota Village who did not know about vegetable crops using hydroponic techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the level of income of the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village, South Langowan District. This study was conducted in February 2021. The data collected in this study is a primary data, which is the data obtained through direct interviews with respondents in the field using a list of questions (questionnaires). And secondary data obtained from agencies related to research problems (related agencies), including physical data of Kaayuran Atas Village and data related to research. The results showed that the income of the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village, South Langowan District, was obtained from the reduction between the average income of the palm sugar home industry of Rp. 5,839,166/month with a production cost of Rp. 5,885,469 then the cost is lacking than Rp. 46,303/month indicates that the palm sugar home industry in Kaayuran Atas Village suffers a loss, but because it uses labor from the family member so that the average labor cost is Rp. 3,600,000 being excluded then the total production cost becomes Rp. 2,209,000 so that the income of the palm sugar household industry in Kaayuran Atas Village is Rp. 3,319,000 making the palm sugar home industry doesn’t suffer from a loss because it  exclude the labor costs and they (the palm sugar home industry managers) still have other jobs such as gardening.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the income of lowland rice farmers in Minanga Satu Village, Pusomaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from January to February 2021. The types of data used in this study were primary data and secondary data which were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the income of lowland rice farmers in Minanga Satu Village was more than eight million rupiah per hectare per one planting season. This result is obtained from the difference between the total production cost and farm income where the total production cost is Rp.9,811,832 per hectare per planting season with the farmer's income of Rp.18,189,300 per hectare per planting season, so the income is Rp.8,377,468 per hectare per growing season. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the income of lowland rice farming in Minanga Satu Village, Pusomaen District, Southeast Minahasa Regency if calculated per month for lowland rice farming in Minanga Satu Village, the average income is Rp. 1,396,244. This amount is small when compared to the regional minimum wage in Southeast Minahasa Regency which is more than three million rupiah.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine the level of consumer satisfaction with the product, price, place and service of the Inaton Flower Shop. This research was carried out from February to April 2021. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with 30 respondents using a questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. Secondary data obtained through books, journals, and literature related to the topic of this research. The research result howed that the level of consumer satisfaction at the Inaton Flower Shop from the product, price, place, and service variables was 82.40%, generally classified as satisfied. The level of consumer satisfaction at the Inaton Flower Shop for the product variable is 83.11% classified as satisfied, the price variable is 82.33% classified as satisfied, and the place and variable is 84.44% satisfied. The service variable of 80.33% is classified as satisfied.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions and interests of youth towards occupation as farmers in Wuwuk Village, Tareran District, South Minahasa Regency. The sampling method in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The data used are primary data obtained through direct surveys in the field through interviews using prepared questionnaires and documentation and secondary data obtained from literature studies and agencies related to the data needed in this study. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis by describing the data that has been collected. The results of this study indicate that the youth of Wuwuk Village have a good perception towards occupation as farmers, although the youths are aware that agricultural businesses have a risk of business failure. A fairly good perception of youth towards occupation as farmers, makes the youth of Wuwuk Village still interested in working as farmers. The youth of Wuwuk Village still consider that work as a farmer provides sufficient income and provides benefits because the farmer family is able to meet the needs of their families and can even send their children to college.
