Abstract

Nano-learning, a part of macro learning, involves small bursts of information into small video (approximately 60 seconds) has gained traction in educational matters. Tiktok, a social media platform known for short form videos, offer an excellent combination to integrate nano-learning into the fashion design classroom. This study explores the potentials of using Tiktok to deliver fashion design content in the classroom in a concise and engaging manner in education. Through a Descriptive Qualitative approach, involving an interview with 20 students who involve in Nano- learning, this study investigates the impact of Nano-learning with tiktok in enhancing students’ understanding of fashion design concepts. Participants were asked to examine their perception about the implementation of nano-learning with tiktok, and its impact to the education in general. Finding suggests that Tiktok Nano-learning is a promising tool for fashion design education in general. Students reported that the short- form video format that they made, made the content more accessible and engaging and enhance their understanding of fashion design concepts. They also appreciated the fact that the implementation of Nano-learning made them more creative and understand the content more. However the study also identified challenges, such as the potential for information overload, and the need for careful curation in the collection of the content. Overall the study demonstrated the potential of Tiktok Nano-learning to revolutionize fashion design education in summary. Leveraging the platform popularity and engaging format, educators can maximize the effective learning experiences that cate to the needs of the students for better classroom environment.

Abstract

Peran perempuan dalam pembangunan telah menjadi isu strategis, terutama dalam konteks ketahanan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga di Desa Renah Semanek, Bengkulu Tengah sebagai strategi meningkatkan ketahanan keluarga melalui program kecakapan hidup batik eco print. Program ini merup kelanjutan dari pilot proyek tahun 2023 yang mengembangkan Posko Mitra Keluarga Responsif Gender dari wadah pengasuhan anak menjadi platform pemberdayaan ekonomi keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh dengan pendekatan Pentahelix, melibatkan pemerintah, akademisi, masyarakat, NGO, dan media, program ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan ekonomi berkelanjutan kepada ibu rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menganalisis pelaksanaan, dampak, dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi program ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program batik eco print tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan kemandirian ekonomi ibu rumah tangga tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pembangunan ekonomi lokal yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penggunaan teknologi khususnya dalam bidang desain kepada santri majelis taklim Alfikri di RT.03/RW.06 Desa Sukabirus, Kecamatan Megamendung melalui Pelatihan desain yang diselenggarakan dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi desain canva dan menerapkan konsep model pelatihan empat langkah dari Crone Hunter dengan tahapan pertama membuat kelompok belajar terlebih dahulu yaitu membentuk kelompok belajar, kemudian melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan kepada para peserta pelatihan, setelah itu memilih metode pembelajaran dan mempersiapkan bahan ajar, kemudian terkahir adalah pelaksanaan sekaligus evaluasi. Untuk mengukur hasil dari pelatihan desain canva ini menggunakan instrument pre-test dan post-test yang dibagikan kepada 10 responden. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan desain canva ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok santri memiliki motivasi untuk mempelajari desain dan dapat membuat produk desain infografis yang menarik. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh para peserta pelatihan ialah karena mereka pemula dalam membuat desain. Maka ada beberapa kesulitan yang mereka alami dalam penggunaan fitur-fitur yang ada pada aplikasi canva. Keterampilan,ini bisa mereka manfaatkan untuk terus berkarya dalam menghasilkan suatu produk yang bermanfaat bagi majelis taklim tempat mereka menimba ilmu.

Abstract

This study evaluated the influence of work environment, engagement, and work-life balance on employee motivation. This study used a quantitative approach and involved 150 respondents. According to multiple linear regression data analysis, work environment, work engagement, and work-life balance affect teacher work motivation. Among the three, work engagement has the most significant impact on motivation to work. Work engagement plays a vital role in teachers' emotional and cognitive involvement in their work, making them feel more connected and enthusiastic about completing the tasks given. Teachers with high levels of work engagement tend to be more proactive, responsible, and satisfied with their work. This creates higher work enthusiasm and improves the quality of teaching. In addition, a conducive work environment, both physically and non-physically, also increases teacher motivation. A supportive workplace, with adequate facilities, a harmonious work atmosphere, and good social relationships between coworkers, can make work more productive and enjoyable. In addition, it has been proven that maintaining a balance between personal and work life is essential in reducing stress and increasing employee satisfaction. If educators can maintain this balance, they feel healthier and better prepared to face challenges in the workplace. Policies supporting these three components can positively impact achieving educational goals and increasing work motivation. Schools should create a supportive work environment, increase employee engagement through training and rewards, and create policies that support work-life balance.

Abstract

This research fon examining the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in differentiated learning assisted by Quizizz media on the mathematical communication skills of fifth students at SD Negeri Menur. This study employs a Quasi-Experimental design using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population and sample in this study consist of class VA (control) and class VB(Eksperiment) each with 18 students, totaling 36 students, selected using the simple random sampling method. Data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques applied are normality test, homogeneity test, independent t-test, paired t-test, and N-gain test. The research results from the independent t-test and paired t-test showed a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, leading to the rejection of Ho and acceptance of Ha. This indicates that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in differentiated learning by Quizizz media is effective in improving the mathematical communication skills of V students at SD Negeri Menur on the topic of addition and subtraction of fractions, with average pretest score of 54.4 and the average posttest score of 84.4 in the experimental class.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this study was to examine the ability of Amil volunteers in the collection and distribution of ZIS funds, and to reveal the differences in position between Amil volunteers and Amil Method – This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. Primary data were obtained through focus group discussions (FGDs) and in-depth interviews involving 15 Amil volunteers at LAZISNU Semarang City, while secondary data were obtained from several sources, both from journal articles, official websites of zakat; infaq; and shadaqah management institutions, ministry of religion websites, and online news that have relevance to the research theme. Result  –  The results showed that the potential of Amil volunteers in collecting and distributing ZIS funds is minimal. There are more Amil volunteers than Amil, but they lack adequate skills. In addition, there is a gap between Amil and Amil volunteers. The gap can be observed in the recognition, the knowledge of ZIS materials, or the capacity to manage ZIS Implication – The results of this study are expected to contribute to increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of ZIS human resource management, especially for ZIS volunteers Originality/Value – This research is the first study explaining ZIS volunteers, so it has high originality. Originality is seen in the primary focus of the study, human resources in Islamic organizations, which are not widely highlighted in research studies. *** Tujuan - Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kemampuan relawan Amil dalam pengumpulan dan pendistribusian dana ZIS, serta mengidentifikasi perbedaan peran antara relawan Amil dan Amil Metode – Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data primer diperoleh melalui diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) dan wawancara mendalam dengan 15 relawan Amil di LAZISNU Kota Semarang, sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari berbagai sumber, termasuk artikel jurnal, situs web resmi lembaga pengelolaan zakat, infaq, dan shadaqah, situs web Kementerian Agama, serta berita online yang relevan dengan tema penelitian. Hasil – Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi relawan Amil dalam mengumpulkan dan mendistribusikan dana ZIS sangat minim. Jumlah relawan Amil lebih banyak daripada Amil, namun mereka kurang memiliki keterampilan yang memadai. Selain itu, terdapat kesenjangan antara Amil dan relawan Amil. Kesenjangan tersebut dapat diamati dalam hal pengakuan, pengetahuan tentang materi ZIS, atau kemampuan mengelola ZIS Implikasi – Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan efektivitas dan efisiensi manajemen sumber daya manusia ZIS, terutama untuk relawan ZIS. Orisinalitas/Nilai – Penelitian ini merupakan studi pertama yang menjelaskan relawan ZIS, sehingga memiliki keaslian yang tinggi. Keaslian terlihat pada fokus utama penelitian, yaitu sumber daya manusia dalam organisasi Islam, yang belum banyak ditekankan dalam penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to explore the implementation of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach based on Islamic values in pesantren, as a response to the need for integrating modern scientific knowledge and Islamic spirituality in addressing 21st-century challenges. The focus of the study is to identify contextual strategies for implementing STEAM, analyze students' responses to the integration of Islamic values within STEAM learning, and formulate a conceptual framework for STEAM integration grounded in the principles of Islamic education (ta’dib). Design/methods/approach – This study employs a qualitative approach through an exploratory case study design at Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Al Husna Bukit Rajawali. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with five key informants (teachers, pesantren leaders, students), and document analysis conducted during March 2025. Data analysis was carried out thematically using triangulation techniques to validate the findings. Findings – The results indicate that STEAM was implemented through project-based learning, including projects such as constructing a natural water filter, producing educational videos, and creating Islamic geometry-based calligraphy. The integration of Islamic values was carried out substantively, with explicit connections between STEAM activities and Qur’anic verses and hadiths, significantly enhancing students' enthusiasm and active engagement. Identified challenges include limited learning facilities and teachers’ competencies in applying interdisciplinary learning. Research implications – Practically, this study recommends that pesantren improve teachers' pedagogical competencies through regular training in STEAM methodologies and invest in simple laboratory facilities or collaborative learning spaces. This integration model can be implemented in other pesantren with similar characteristics to enhance the quality of Islamic education in preparing a generation that is characterized, religious, and capable of addressing global challenges.

Abstract

The development of digital learning tools has progressed educational practices even though there is a need for engaging and validated resources tailored for university-level instruction. There are many digital modules lack rigorous development and validation, potentially limiting their effectiveness in enhancing learning experiences. This Research and Development (R&D) study aimed to develop a digital learning module in a flipbook format specifically designed for university learners. Utilizing the instructional development model procedure, the research employed both qualitative and quantitative methodologies where qualitative data were gathered through expert validation feedback, while quantitative data were collected via expert validation through questionnaires. This research employed data collection instruments included questionnaires, observation, and interviews. The participants of the study included students from educational study program. The developed digital flipbook module underwent rigorous validation by subject matter, media, and language experts, achieving high validity scores of 100%, 89.13%, and 97.22%, respectively. Furthermore, the module was tested with university learners through individual trials (96.875% validity), small group trials (91.67% validity), and field trials (90.21% validity), all indicating a "very valid" rating for all matters. The consistently high validation scores across expert review and learner trials provide valid evidence that the developed digital flipbook module is a suitable and effective media for enhancing the university learners’ learning experience. In conclusion, the findings support the idea that digital flipbook module offer both engaging and validated learning resources for university- level education.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar melalui pelatihan intensif dalam metode pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik. Pelatihan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan mendesak akan pergeseran paradigma mengajar dari yang berpusat pada guru (teacher-centered) menjadi berpusat pada siswa (student-centered). Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah kombinasi antara pemaparan teori dan lokakarya praktis yang melibatkan guru secara aktif. Materi utama yang disampaikan meliputi empat pilar pembelajaran inovatif: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL), Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL), Pembelajaran Kolaboratif, dan Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan transformasi signifikan dalam cara pandang dan praktik mengajar para peserta. Guru tidak lagi melihat diri mereka sebagai satu-satunya sumber pengetahuan, melainkan sebagai fasilitator yang memandu proses eksplorasi siswa. Mereka telah dibekali dengan keterampilan nyata untuk merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang otentik dan relevan, seperti merancang proyek yang memicu kreativitas atau menyajikan masalah nyata yang menantang siswa untuk berpikir analitis. Dampak paling nyata adalah peningkatan kesadaran dan kepercayaan diri guru untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis, relevan, dan memberdayakan. Kesimpulan dari program ini adalah bahwa pendekatan praktis dan kolaboratif dalam pelatihan guru efektif untuk menumbuhkan mentalitas pendidik yang siap mewujudkan pembelajaran yang mendorong siswa menjadi pembelajar yang kritis, kreatif, dan kolaboratif

Abstract

Pengabdian ini memiliki fokus pada implementasi pembelajaran interaktif berbasis digital untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini. Program ini dilaksanakan melibatkan sekelompok anak usia dini dalam beberapa sesi pengajaran. Tujuan utama dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi digital secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran, memanfaatkan potensi media seperti YouTube, permainan edukasi, dan aplikasi interaktif lainnya. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pendekatan partisipatif, di mana anak-anak diajak untuk terlibat secara langsung dalam aktivitas digital yang dirancang untuk merangsang kreativitas, kemampuan kognitif, dan motorik halus. Sesi pembelajaran dirancang secara tematik, dengan setiap sesi difokuskan pada materi yang relevan dengan kurikulum anak usia dini, seperti pengenalan huruf, angka, bentuk, dan warna, serta konsep dasar sains dan seni. Penggunaan media digital dipilih untuk menyajikan materi ini secara visual dan audio yang menarik, jauh dari metode ceramah tradisional yang cenderung pasif. YouTube digunakan untuk menayangkan video edukasi yang ceria dan informatif, sementara permainan edukasi dimanfaatkan untuk mengubah konsep belajar menjadi pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan kompetitif secara sehat. Hasil observasi selama program menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran interaktif berbasis digital berhasil menciptakan suasana belajar yang dinamis dan menyenangkan. Anak-anak menunjukkan tingkat partisipasi dan antusiasme yang sangat tinggi. Mereka tidak hanya pasif menerima informasi, tetapi juga secara aktif berinteraksi dengan konten digital, menjawab pertanyaan, dan menyelesaikan tantangan dalam permainan. Tingkat kegembiraan dan keterlibatan yang tinggi ini menandakan bahwa pendekatan ini efektif dalam mempertahankan perhatian anak usia dini. Selain itu, para guru juga memberikan respons yang sangat positif. Mereka melihat manfaat signifikan dari integrasi teknologi, termasuk kemudahan dalam menyampaikan materi yang kompleks dan potensi untuk personalisasi pembelajaran.
