Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar IPA dan tingkat aktivitas dengan melalui penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Pengumpulan data melalui instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar dan data observasi tingkat aktivitas, yang selanjutnya diolah sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Data dianalisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran ikuiri terbimbing 85.29 lebih tinggi dibandingan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan model direct instruction (DI) 63.18. sedangkan nilai rata-rata tingkat aktivitas siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ikuiri terbimbing (92.03) juga lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan model direct instruction (83.25).

Abstract

Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir secara optimal, memperhatikan latar belakang kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan strategi konflik kognitif dalam perubahan konseptual adalah model pembelajaran (Predict-Observe-Explain) POE. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan hasil belajar konsep dasar IPA mahasiswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran POE dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalen post-test only control group design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diuraikan simpulan sebagai berikut. Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar konsep dasar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model POE dan model pembelajaran konvensional (F=28,177; p<0,05). Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar konsep dasar IPA antara siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual, gaya belajar auditori dan gaya belajar kinestetika (F=11,573; p<0,05). Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar konsep dasar IPA dan sikap ilmiah siswa (F=11,000;p<0,05). Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar konsep dasar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model POE dan model pembelajaran konvensional untuk siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual (F=23,912; p<0,05). Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar konsep dasar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model POE dan model pembelajaran konvensional untuk siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar auditori (F=0,452; p<0,05). Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar konsep dasar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model POE dan model pembelajaran konvensional untuk siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar kinestetika (F=25,991; p<0,05). Hal ini menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran POE dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar konsep dasar IPA pada siswa.

Abstract

Kinerja guru merupakan hasil kerja yang telah dicapai dalam proses pembelajaran ketika seorang guru selesai melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai pendidik dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan menilai hasil belajar siswa di kelas. Keberhasilan pendidikan disekolah sangat ditentukan oleh kinerja gurunya, disamping itu guru juga harus memiliki kinerja yang baik dan dituntut memiliki komitmen serta konsep diri yang baik dalam membimbing dan melatih siswa di kelas. Kinerja seorang guru yang berkualitas akan berpengaruh terhadap mutu pembelajaran, mutu lulusan, mutu pendidikan dan pencapainya tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja guru dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar serta evaluasi proses dan hasil belajar di kelas. Kinerja Guru dilihat dari aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian ini seluruh guru yang mengajaar di SDS RK Xaverius Namorambe.Adapun teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawacara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru di SDS RK Xaverius Namorambe dalam aspek perencanaan pembelajaran termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 84,26%, dalam aspek pelaksanaan pembelajaran termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 88,52%, dan dalam aspek evaluasi pembelajaran dengan kategori tinggi dengan persentase 85,83%. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa kinerja guru di SDS RK Xaverius Namorambe masuk dalam kategori tinggi

Abstract

Percut Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency is an area with the largest number of people belonging to Very Poor Households (RTSM), namely approximately 1,000 families when compared to other villages in Deli Serdang Regency. From these families, approximately 950 school-age children who have dropped out of school have not even entered formal education. The purpose of Community Service (PKM) is to be able to build a system that can help children from Very Poor Households (RTSM) to get/obtain a minimum education up to high school graduation as well as a view of the importance of health for children and families, because education and Health is a child's capital to achieve a better future. The methods used were (1) providing training and outreach to RTSM mothers, local government and also school-age children about the importance of education and health, (2) providing socialization on how to get free education (scholarships) and government assistance, (3) providing assistance in obtaining educational and health opportunities and information, educational funding assistance, learning process assistance in the form of tutoring and provision of tutoring books up to children graduating from high school, (4) Organizing RTSM mothers and study groups for routine and programmed implementation, thereby building a sustainable system.

Abstract

The aim of this activity is to foster participants' interest and attraction in learning Mathematics by using interactive media properly and correctly. Assistance is carried out by a service team consisting of 3 lecturers and 2 PGSD Study Program students. Children who are provided with assistance include kindergarten, elementary, middle school children. This PKM activity was carried out at the Sinar Abadi, Karya Ramlan, dan Cinta Kasih Nurani Orphanage, Medan City, North Sumatra. Data collection used in this activity is: (1) performance test questions to measure mastery of mathematics. Participants take tests individually and are given at the end of the learning material. and (2) field notes, carried out by documenting the learning process and photos of activities during the teaching and learning process both before and during the action. The output targets to be achieved from this activity are increasing the knowledge of partners/heads of orphanages in educating children in orphanages and publication of scientific articles in community service journals

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the influence between the variations of upper serve exercises using kick pads and hanging balls on the accuracy of instep service in the sport of sepak takraw. This study was conducted on students of SMA Negeri 1 Bangko Pusako who participated in extracurricular activities of sepak takraw. Problem identification showed that there were several obstacles in the accuracy of serving, such as inaccurate contact of the ball on the foot, lack of eye-foot coordination, lack of effective form of exercise, limb stiffness, and weak support when performing top serve. The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of the two training models on the accuracy of the instep service in the sport of sepak takraw. This research is expected to provide benefits for sports teachers and students at SMA Negeri 1 Bangko Pusako, especially in improving the ability to serve in the game of sepak takraw. In addition, this research can be a reference for science in the teaching and learning process as well as a reference for other researchers who are interested in the problem of service accuracy in sepak takraw. This research is expected to make a practical contribution to sepak takraw coaches in choosing more effective training methods to improve the accuracy of the instep serve, especially for students who play as tekong.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the speed of the sickle kick in pencak silat athletes at the SMA Negeri 1 Barusjahe Club for the 2022/2023 Academic Year by using rubber tires. Problem identification included a lack of speed of the scythe, stiffness and inefficiency of the kick, as well as the ease with which the kick was caught by the opponent. This study was limited to increasing the speed of the sickle kick through the use of tire rubber. The formulation of the problem raised includes the implementation, results, and effects of the use of tire rubber in increasing the speed of the sickle kick. The purpose of the study is to determine the implementation, results, and increase of the speed of the sickle kick using rubber tires. The benefits of this research are expected to help pencak silat athletes improve their sickle kick performance and provide a reference for future research in the same field.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa serta interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan aktivitas terhadap hasil belajar IPA di SD. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa sebanyak 2 kelas yang dikategorikan dengan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah test pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 soal dan lembar observasi. Untuk uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji independent sample t test varian dengan taraf signifikan ? = 0.05. ???????????????????????? = saraf siginifikan ???? = 5 % = 0,05 karena uji dua pihak (two tails), maka nilai ????/2 = 0,05/2 = 0,025 db = n-2 = 42 – 2 = 40 sehingga ???????????????????????? = ????(0,025;40) = 2,021. Abstract

The lack of teacher creativity in testing various learning models and methods makes a significant contribution to the stigma of boredom and boredom in studying physics. The right learning model is needed so that it can help students improve learning outcomes, especially learning physics. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence the experimental method combined with the virtual and real experiment-based guided inquiry learning model had on the physics learning outcomes. The research samples were class XI IPA 1 (32 people) for the experimental group and class XI IPA 2 (32 people) for the control group. In this study, the cluster sampling technique used was random sampling. Data collection techniques in research are in the form of learning outcomes test instruments at the beginning (pretest) and at the end of learning (posttest). The data analysis technique used is the normality test and the independent sample t-test. To test the research hypothesis, two similarity tests were used on average using the t test, namely the independent sample t-test or one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) using the SPSS version 21 program. The result show that the guided inquiry learning model uses virtual laboratories and real laboratories to influence student learning outcomes (0.000 < 0.05). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that virtual and real experiments can improve students' physics learning outcomes, as evidenced by the difference in the average score of students' learning outcomes in the experimental class (87.47) compared to the control class (69.72).

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in the digital era must be utilized optimally to improve the quality of learning Physics. The use of virtual laboratories can replace real laboratories as a means of proving theories, laws, and concepts of physics. This study aims to analyze the use of virtual media in the form of PhET simulation as an alternative to real experiments (reels). This type of research is an experiment) by providing treatment in the form of learning. The research subjects were Quality University students divided into 2 classes, namely the experimental class (2A23), totaling 32 students, and the control class (2B22), consisting of 33 students. Data collection techniques used research instruments, namely learning achievement tests and observations. Hypothesis testing in this study used a 2-way analysis of variance (Two Way Anova) on the univariance General Linear Model (GLM) with the SPSS 21 program. From the results of the study, there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of Science Physics and the level of student activity in class compared to classes taught using a conventional method, so there is a significant interaction between learning methods and activity levels on student learning outcomes in Science Physics. It was concluded that using virtual laboratory learning methods based on PhET simulation, especially on fluid material, affected student learning outcomes.
