Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe what were the religious elements in  The Unholy movie directed by Evan Spiliotopoulus. The method applied in this research was designed in qualitative descriptive. This research used human instrument by himself. The data was analyzed by describing the elements of religion in a movie. In collecting the data, the researcher watched The Unholy movie and in analyzing the data the researcher identifying four religion elements according to Rees theory. Based on the result of data analysis, the researcher found out data that: The first element of religion was God (s) and forces in the public square were Jesus Christ as God and Mary as mother of God with 7 scenes found. The second element was sacred symbols (re) defining what was real were eight syimbols; Jesus Bible, Banfield Shrine, Jesus Statue, Mary Statue, Church, Cross necklace, Holy fire and touched of forehead, then both of shoulders with fingers and clench both of hands into fists with 8 scenes found. The third element was sacred stories connecting past, present and future were 3 traditions or sacred stories from this movie, Mass, story of baby doll Kern and the feast of immaculate conception with 3 scenes found. The last element was a community worshiping and acting together was Catholic with 2 scenes found. Therefore, the researcher found 20 scenes in The Unholy movie that related to the religius elements based on Rees’s theory (2017). In conlusion, the religion elements in The Unholy movie included belief, attitude and action in everyday life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran outdoor learning. Pembelajaran yang terus berlangsung di dalam kelas membuat peserta didik sering merasa bosan dan tidak memiliki motivasi untuk belajar, pembelajaran dilakukan dalam bentuk konvensional. Selain itu juga belum pernah melakukan suatu penerapan model pembelajaran di luar kelas (outdoor) dengan menerapkan langsung pada pembelajaran tematik. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa ialah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Outdoor Learning. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen semu.Populasi kelas IV SD Negeri Taba Remanik Tahun Ajaran 2021 berjumlah 22 siswa dan sampel yang diambil berjumlah 22 siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik tes. Data yang dikumpulkan setelah dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-z pada tarafsignifikanα=0,05 diperoleh Z hitung = 1,68 >z_tabel = 1,64,sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar Tematik siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Taba Remaniksetelah diterapkannya Model Outdoor Learning secara signifikan tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 74,27

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar buku pendamping tematik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa Sekolah Dasar. Sampel Penelitian yaitu siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development dengan desain pengembangan model Dick and Carey. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penulis an ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan skala likert dan mean (persentase nilai rata-rata). Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis dan perhitungan nilai angket uji validitas dari tim validator ahli desain, bahasa, dan materi tergolong dalam kategori baik dengan persentase 80,55 %. Sedangkan hasil analisis uji kepraktisan guru dan siswa yang terdiri dari 10 orang uji one to one sebanyak 3 siswa, uji kelompok kecil 6 siswa dan 1 guru untuk uji kepraktisan guru. Hasil secara keseluruhan uji kepraktisan tergolong dalam kategori sangat prakris dengan persentase 86,39 %. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian dan pengembangan bahan ajar buku pendamping tematik terpadu berbasis kontekstual dapat dinyatakan valid dan praktis, bahan ajar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Bahan ajar ini dapat membantu siswa dan guru di dalam pembelajaran, khususnya pembelajaran tematik terpadu

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar PKN siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 20 Rejang Lebong.. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-exspreimental disign. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 20 Rejang Lebong. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini mengunakan metode sensus atau sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan mengunakan soal pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 15 soal. Analisis data mengunakan uji Z. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran PKN kelas IV SD Negeri 20 Rejang Lebong. Hal ini dapat di lihat pada Rekapitulasi nilai pertemuan pertama yaitu pre-test rata-rata nilai siswa 26,04 dengan simpang baku 11,25 sebelum di terapkan model pembelajaran mind mapping. Pada pertemuan kedua setelah di terapkan model pembelajaran mind mapping hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan pos-test nilai rata-rata 84,25 dengan simpang baku 10,17. Hasil tersebut juga di perkuat dengan uji Z hipotesis di peroleh . Jadi dalam penelitian ini maka  di terima dan  di tolak dengan taraf singnifikan 0,05

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan media permainan tradiisonal congklak mata pelajaran matematika pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development yang mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba small group work yang dilakukan pada kelas II MI Nurul Islam, diperoleh bahwa, hasil kepraktisan media permainan congklak adalah 93% dan berada pada kriteria sangat praktis. Kemudia uji coba validasi yang dilakukan oleh 3 validator ahli media, bahasa dan materi diperoleh hasil validasi media congklak adalah 0,88 dengan kategori tinggi.Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam tahap uji coba small group work  dan uji validasi memenuhii kriteria kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Media permainan tradisional congklak pada mata pelajaran matematika materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan  kelas II  dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dasar

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) mempunyai tujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan jurnalistik dan penulisan artikel ilmiah pada website kelurahan Bangun Jaya. Peserta dari kegiatan ini adalah seluruh staf kelurahan, ketua Rt, Pemuda dan Keagamaan sebanyak 30 Orang. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan selama Selama 5 hari dari hari jumat 2 – 7 Agutus 2024. Adapun Langkah dalam pelaksanaan ini terbagi menjadi dua yaitu: Pelatihan dan praktik secara langsung di aula kelurahan dan sosialisasi tentang informasi desa berbentuk website. Pada sesi pertama praktik langsung dibagi menjadi empat bagian yaitu: pembukaan dan pengenalan website, Menu informasi di sebuah website, pengenalan menu pada kolom penulisan artikel, Praktik langsung menulis. Tahap kedua dilaksanakan oleh anggota mahasiswa KKN dengan mensosialisasikan langsung tentang fungsi website. Selama proses kegiatan anggota merasa puas dengan penjelasan yang disampaikan dan sangat puas dapat bermain. Luaran dari penelitian ini diterbitkan pada Jurnal Linggau vol 4 no 2 2024, video pelaksanaan diupload di channelyoutube dan dimuat di surat kabar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this thesis was to describe the ReligionEelementsin Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Young Goodman Brown. The method applied in this research was descriptive qualitative method. This research used human instrument by herself. The data was analyzed by describing the elements of religion in short story. In collecting the data, the researcher read the short story and in analysing the data the researcher identifying religion element according to Rees theory. Based on the result of data analysis, the researcher found out data that: 1) God (s) and forces in the public square. The first element was belief in God2)sacred symbols (re) defining what is real were staff, meditation, ceremony, holy psalm, pulpit and Bible 3) sacred stories connecting past, present and future was good Cristians and honestmen,and 4) a community worshiping and acting together was Cristian congregation.In conlusion, the religion elements in Young Goodman Brown short story included belief, attitude and action in everyday life. Abstract

The aim of the research was to find out An Analysis of EFL Teachers’ Pedagogic Competence in teaching English at SMP Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. However, the research was conducted at SMPN 8 Lubuklinggau and the time of this research was carried out on Augustus’ 2023. The researcher was chosen by using total sampling there were 2 English teachers in SMPN 8 Lubuklinggau. In this research, the researcher held on the observation in the first meeting in class, and last the researcher conducted an interview and given a questionnaire with two English teachers to know the teacher's pedagogical competence in teaching English at the seventh grade of SMPN 8 Lubuklinggau. However, the data was conducted by observation, interview and questionnaire. Based on the observation in general the teacher has done the criteria of pedagogical competence. Meanwhile, some steps were missing, in the data of the interview result and the questionnaire it also can be seen that English teacher A and B has good pedagogical competence.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to find out students' ability in writing English texts. This study used the descriptive qualitative method and data collected in writing analytical exposition text. The population in this study was the eleventh-grade students of MAN 2 Lubuklinggau. The subject of this study was XI IPA 4 considered 32 students who took a class by using purposeful sampling. Based on the result of the writing analytical exposition text the eleventh-grade students of MAN 2 Lubuklinggau were in “Good Criteria”. The writer used five elements of writing for analyzing students’ ability in writing English text. First was students’ ability in content, there were 14 students with “Very Good”, 16 students with “Good”, and 2 students with “Fair”. Second was students’ ability in organization, there were 11 students “Very Good”, 19 students “Good”, and 2 students “Fair”. Third was students’ ability in vocabulary, there were 3 students with “Very Good”, 15 students with “Good”, and 14 students with “Fair”. Fourth was students’ ability in language use, there were 26 students “Very Good” and 6 students “Good”. Fifth was students’ ability in mechanics, there were 22 students “Very Good” and 10 students “Good”.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what difficulties hinder students from speaking English in the English study program, at PGRI Silampari University. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative research design. The 23 students who participated in this study were selected based on a sample of second-semester students in the English language education study program at PGRI Silampari University. The questionnaire consists of 15 questions consisting of questions and statements used to collect data. Data analysis shows that there are a number of problems speaking English in the English language education study program caused by several inhibiting factors such as internal factors, external factors, the school system, environment and learning community. Speaking English in the English language education study program cannot be carried out without solving the problems of the inhibiting factors. So it can be concluded that speaking English will be effective and efficient if students and lecturers always speak English with each other and can make some discipline or give sanctions such as giving bad grades, and so on. To be obeyed to speak English in the English language education study program, PGRI Silampari University.
