Abstract

Electricity demand in Indonesia is currently increasing along with population growth, economic growth, and development. This increase can lead to an energy crisis if it is not accompanied by the provision of additional power plants. This study aims to analyze the micro-hydro potential located at Bangkong Waterfall, Kuningan Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach that begins with field surveys and data collection from relevant agencies. Next, the dependable discharge analysis uses the Thiessen polygon method based on rainfall data and watershed area, as well as flow discharge analysis using the rational method. The results of calculations using the Thiessen polygon method and the rational method yield Q80 with a minimum discharge of 0.009 m³/d and a maximum discharge of 1.160 m³/d. For direct discharge analysis, the Float method is used to calibrate the calculation results with field conditions. The direct discharge analysis using the Float method yields 0.32 m³/d. Based on the efficiency considerations of the micro-hydro power plant (MHPP) components such as a head of 20 meters, turbine type efficiency, water density, gravity factor, and flow discharge in the pipe of 0.109 m³/d, the potential power that can be generated at the Bangkong Waterfall micro-hydro power plant is 16,097.23 Watts or 16.097 Kilowatts.

Abstract

The eastern part of Cirebon Regency is an area that is prone to flooding because it is included in the Cisanggarung Watershed (DAS). The Cisanggarung watershed area has a high level of flood vulnerability, with the flood-prone area reaching around 3,479 hectares. This study aims to analyze flooding in Sidaresmi Village by employing the HSS Nakayasu method to calculate the flood discharge levels. This approach facilitates the estimation of peak flood discharges for a range of return periods, including Q2 or 2-year, Q5 or 5-year, Q10 or 10-year, Q25 or 25-year, Q-50 or 50-year, Q100 or 100-year. Subsequently, these discharge values are utilized in flood modeling conducted with HEC-RAS software. The modeling results using HEC-RAS software show that the Cisanggarung River in Sidaresmi Village does not have sufficient capacity to accommodate the flood discharge that occurs. With flood discharges exceeding the river's capacity, the risk of overflowing water becomes very high, which can result in flooding in surrounding areas. These findings highlight the importance of mitigation measures, such as river infrastructure improvements, to reduce the impact of flooding in the area.

Abstract

Learning resources for students and educators need to be developed by changing times. This research aims to find out and analyze non-printed teaching materials used in Islamic religious education learning. As well as what are the inhibiting and supporting factors in developing non-print teaching materials in PAI learning. The approach taken in this research uses a qualitative approach with the library research method. The data sources in this research contain two sources, namely primary and secondary. Primary includes journal articles, E-Books, websites, and other internet media. Meanwhile, secondary includes online proceedings, magazines, newspapers, and internet media related to themes and discussions. The data collection technique in this research is collecting from the sources that have been mentioned, then classifying them and then concluding. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis, namely integrating general knowledge into specifics (inductive). namely from the results of collection through primary and secondary sources then classifying the data, displaying the data, then interpreting it to produce knowledge to conclude. The results of this research show that data analysis on the development of non-printed teaching materials is very necessary, then they are designed, developed, and implemented into Islamic religious education learning so that the results can be evaluated from the series of development processes. The research concludes that there are various types of non-printed teaching materials such as audiovisual, audio, interactive multimedia and display media.

Abstract

Effective management and planning of irrigation systems critically depend on accurately understanding the overall irrigation water requirements. This study aims to evaluate and project the irrigation water needs in the secondary channel of BSD 1, located in the Rentang Irrigation Area, Majalengka Regency, which serves an irrigation area of 620 hectares and is supplied by the Jatigede Dam and Cimanuk River. Factors such as effective rainfall, water layer changes, seepage, consumptive use, and land preparation are considered in determining water needs. The research employs the kp-01 concept, allowing manual calculations to determine irrigation requirements. Results indicate that irrigation water is necessary starting in early November due to the rice planting pattern. The manual calculations reveal a maximum irrigation water requirement of 1.55 m³ per second during the second period of May and a minimum requirement of 0.06 m³ per second during the second period of December. The findings highlight the importance of understanding seasonal variations and optimizing water resource allocation to ensure efficient irrigation practices. This study concludes that adopting precise calculation methods like kp-01 is essential for sustainable irrigation management and can serve as a reference for similar agricultural planning efforts in other regions.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the greatest miracle revealed by Allah SWT to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a guide for mankind. One of the main focuses of the Qur'an is to teach people about the worship of Allah, to warn against sins, and to give instructions for doing good in personal and social life. The phenomena and stories contained in the Qur'an are not just fairy tales but are a source of wisdom and knowledge that can be taken by humans. Through observation and understanding of the verses of the Qur'an, people are invited to draw closer to Allah and learn from the stories of the previous people. One example of the story recorded in the Qur'an is the destruction of the people of 'Ad, whom the Prophet Hud sent to warn them against idolatry. Despite warnings, the people of 'Ad remained in defiance, so Allah inflicted torment on them in the form of dark clouds that brought no rain, but strong winds and destruction.
