Abstract

Every policy program that is made needs to be evaluated in order to know its successes and shortcomings, one of which can be done by measuring its effectiveness. This study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of the independent farmer card and its effect on improving farmers' welfare. It is a study that uses a quantitative approach. The sample was selected using random sampling using the Slovin formula so that 100 respondents were obtained. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that the effect of the CIPP Model on the effectiveness of the Independent Farmer Card Program (KPM) in Bojonegoro Regency showed positive results. Factors such as monitoring, objectives, socialization, and targeting accuracy of the program contribute to its effectiveness. In addition, improvements in each component of the CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product) were shown to increase the program's effectiveness, which also significantly impacted the welfare of farmers in the area.

Abstract

Objectives: The objective of this research is to compare the influence of each dimension (first-order e-WOM) with its second-order e-WOM. This research also examined how e-WOM can influence tourists' decision behavior and satisfaction in Batu City agrotourism. Methodology: This research was conducted using primary data in 2023. The population in this study consists of 119 respondents who have visited agrotourism in Batu City and obtained information about agrotourism from e-WOM on Social Networking Services. The data was processed using Warp-Partial Least Square (WarpPLS) 8.0.Finding: E-WOM has proven itself as a valuable source of information for tourists visiting agrotourism in the city of Batu. With the help of e-WOM, tourists can obtain more up-to-date insights into the conditions of agrotourism. Agrotourism operators also benefit since they receive free marketing from their tourists. Conclusion: Overall, this research results indicate a contrasting comparison between the first-order e-WOM model and the second-order e-WOM. Only two dimensions of e-WOM, namely the valence of opinion and content, have a direct influence on visitation decisions and tourist satisfaction. Additionally, this study demonstrates that all three dimensions of e-WOM collectively have a significant impact on tourist behavior. Second-order e-WOM has a more substantial impact on tourists in influencing their decisions and satisfaction levels.

Abstract

Introduction: Performance evaluation is essential in defining supply chain strategies because the firm can find out how the business processes in the supply chain are running and formulate strategic policies. Kayumas coffee is one of Indonesia’s specialty coffee with a unique aroma and flavor originating from Kayumas Village, Situbondo District, East Java. Kayumas coffee supply chain needs to be evaluated because of the lack of competitiveness with other specialty coffees. Strategies are needed to improve supply chain performance, improve product quality, and reduce costs. This study aims to configure the supply chain of Kayumas specialty coffee structure, evaluate its performance, and determine performance improvement strategies. Methods: This study uses descriptive analysis to configure the supply chain structure and flow. Analysis of supply chain performance based on Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model then weighted with Analytic Network Process (ANP). Performance improvement strategies were formulated by a discussion with experts and then weighted with ANP. Results: The research results show that the Kayumas specialty coffee supply chain comprises farmers, farmer groups, distributors or resellers, and consumers. There are 6 performance indicators (metrics) to measure performance: perfect order fulfillment, order fulfillment cycle time, flexibility, total supply chain management cost, cost of goods sold, and cash-to-cash cycle time. Performance measurement shows that Kayumas specialty coffee supply chain performance is in the inferior category. Conclusion: The strategy needed to improve supply chain performance by reducing cost is a partnership between supply chain members to reach a price agreement.

The research aims to examine the correlation between brand image, positive feelings, and in-store crowd with consumer satisfaction. A quantitative explanatory research method was employed with simple random sampling. Face-to-face interviews and meticulous data analysis were also conducted. The findings are expected to offer new insights for farmers and retailers of NPK liquid-fertilizer in Bojonegoro to enhance consumer shopping experiences and ensure optimal satisfaction levels. The study's results test the relationship between brand image, positive feelings, in-store crowd, and consumer satisfaction with NPK liquid-fertilizer products in Bojonegoro. Abstract

Supply chain activities are one of the considerations for business actors. However, several problems within these activities lead to inefficiencies in the performance of supply chain actors. This study aimed to describe the strawberry supply chain system and analyze its efficiency level at Lumbung Stroberi, and evaluate supplier selection based on the supply chain performance efficiency results. The respondents of this study were five partner farmers who supplied Lumbung Stroberi and were interviewed directly using questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using two methods, namely descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model approach. The study’s findings revealed the occurrence of supply chain activities from suppliers to Lumbung Stroberi and the efficiency level of the strawberry supply chain, with three suppliers operating efficiently. This supplier selection based on supply chain performance efficiency results is crucial evaluation for maintaining the efficient suppliers and improving the inefficient ones.

Abstract

The Pandarejo Strawberry Barn is an agrotourism owned by the Raharjo Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Batu City. Since its establishment in 2019, one of the focuses of the Pandarejo Strawberry Barn has been on the sale of services. The offered service is in the form of educational tourism with the concept of strawberry picking. The evolution of time shows that the business's reputation is greatly determined by the success of the business unit in serving its customers. Therefore, this research aims to determine the influence of the visiting experience on agrotourism reputation through visitor satisfaction and electronic word of mouth. This study employs a quantitative approach conducted from December 2023 to January 2024. Questionnaires were directly distributed to 230 respondents, and data were analyzed using SEM-PLS assisted by the WarpPLS 8.0 application. The research involves four variables: visiting experience, visitor satisfaction, electronic word of mouth, and agrotourism reputation. The results indicate that the visiting experience has an impact on agrotourism's reputation through visitor satisfaction and electronic word of mouth.

Abstract

The growing awareness of health and environmental concerns has led to an increase in the consumption of organic vegetables, especially among young consumers. This study aims to identify key factors influencing their purchasing behavior and provide insights for improving business service strategies. Data were collected from 162 purposively selected students at Brawijaya University and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with WarpPLS. The results indicate that product actuality has the strongest influence on purchasing behavior (effect size = 0.229, p < 0.05), followed by delivery service (0.153, p < 0.05). Delivery service is significantly affected by product actuality, quality, health issues, appearance, freshness, and taste, as well as curiosity and prestige (all p < 0.05). Mediating effects are also significant for product actuality and appearance (p < 0.1). These findings highlight the importance of ensuring authentic products and optimizing delivery services to enhance business performance in the organic market segment.

Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2024 di Desa Pandanrejo, Kota Batu dan bekerja sama dengan BUMDes Raharjo. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi: a.
