Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe inquiring minds want to know dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar fisika siswa di kelas VIIID SMP Negeri 17 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase rata-rata aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 48,04% pada siklus I menjadi 70,03% pada siklus II dan 84,19% pada siklus III. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 5,13 dengan jumlah siswa yang berhasil sebanyak 22 orang (52,38%) pada siklus I menjadi 6,12 dengan jumlah siswa yang berhasil sebanyak 30 orang (71,43%) pada siklus II dan menjadi 7,01 dengan jumlah siswa yang berhasil sebanyak 36 orang (85,71%) pada siklus III. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe inquiring minds want to know dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar fisika siswa di kelas VIIID SMP Negeri 17 Kota Jambi pada pokok bahasan cahaya dan alat-alat optik.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe inquiring minds want to kno

Abstract

The unavailable of physics material learning based by the character education which conform with students’ characteristic caused the students’ competency and activity in study process was low. This research aims to develop physics material learning (syllabus, lesson plan, module, worksheet, and assessment) based by the character education with validity, practical, and effective problem based instruction model for the temperature and heat subject. This research was the development research by using 4D models. The phases are define, design, and develop. The researcher did the analysis of curriculum, analysis of concepts, and analysis of students at define phase. On design phase, the researcher designed the physics material learning. Develop phase consist of validation phase, practicality, and effectivity. After designed, the physics material learning was validated by 5 validator. At practicality phase, physics material learning tested by the students of XB MAN 1 Sungai Penuh on even semester 2012/2013. At this activity, student and teacher will be ask for their comments about the practicality of physics material learning. Effectivity of physics material learning investigated at the same time with practicality phase. At this activity, student and teacher will be ask for their comments about the effectivity of physics material learning. Effectivity also seen from the improving of student’s competency and student’s activity in study process. The result showed that physics material learning based character education with model of problem based instruction are very valid, very practical and very effective. Ketidaktersediaan materi pembelajaran fisika dengan pendidikan karakter yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa karena kompetensi dan kegiatan siswa dalam proses belajar termasuk rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar fisika (silabus, rencana pembelajaran, modul, lembar kerja, dan penilaian) berdasar pada pendidikan karakter dengan validitas, prktik, dan masalah efektif berdasarkan model instruksi materi suhu dan kalor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model 4D. Tahapan tahapannya ialah; menjelaskan, desain, dan mengembangkan. Peneliti menganalisa kurikulum, menganalisa konsep, dan menganalisa siswa pada tahap tertentu. Pada tahap desain, peneliti mendesain bahan ajar fisika. Mengembangkan tahapan yang terdiri dari tahap validasi, praktikalitas, dan efektifitas. Setelah di desain, bahan ajar fisika divalidasi oleh 5 validator. Pada tahapan praktikalitas, bahan ajar fisika di uji oleh siswa kelas XB MAN 1 Sungai Penuh pada semester genap 2012/2013. Pada kegiatan ini, siswa dan guru akan ditanyakan komentarnya tentang prktikalitas pada bahan ajar fisika. Efektifitas pada bahan ajar fisika diteliti pada saat yang sama dengan tahap praktikalitas. Efektifitas juga dilihat dari meningkatnya kompetensi dan kegiatan siswa pada proses pembelajaran. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar fisika berdasarkan pendidikan karakter dengan instruksi Problem Based Model sangat valid, sangat praktikal dan sangat efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of LKS scientific approach to the study result of students. This study is a research quasy experimentation, the samples in this study were students of class XI SMA PERINTIS 1 Bandar Lampung, the sampling technique using simple rondom sampling, where the class XI.3 is an experimental class and class XI.5 as control class, with style material. The Instruments used for learning outcomes is a description that had previously been tested. Based on the results of research and data management t-test analysis on a significant level = 0.05 obtained t> t table ie 5.45415> 1.68107 means that H0 is accepted. Thus, the learning of physics by using a scientific approach of LKS more influence on physics learning outcomes of learners compared with not using a scientific approach.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan saintifik berbantukan LKS terhadap hasil belajar  peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian quasy eskperimen, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMA PERINTIS 1 Bandar Lampung, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple rondom sampling, dimana kelas XI.3 merupakan kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI.5 merupakan kelas control, dengan materi gaya. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk hasil belajar adalah uraian yang sebelumnya telah diuji cobakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengelolaan data analisis uji-t pada taraf signifikan= 0,05 diperoleh thitung > ttabel  yaitu 5.45415 > 1.68107  berarti H0 diterima. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik  berbantukan LKS lebih berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika peserta didik dibandingkan dengan yang tidak menggunakan pendekatan saintifik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect size scramble learning model with video media on Physics students learning outcomes of class X MAN 1 Pesisir Barat on the measurement material. The research method used was a quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The survey results revealed that the normality test of the experimental class Lcount = 0.161052 and class control while Lcount = 0.149135 Ltable = 0.1726. Terms of normality test L count <L table then normally distributed data. To test the homogeneity of Fcount<Ftable = 1.166 <1.96 then the data homogeneous. Test hypotheses obtained tcount> t table = 6.4> 1.708 means that there are significant scramble learning model with video media to the learning outcomes of students subject matter physics measurements in class X MAN 1 Pesisir Barat. Furthermore, the effect size obtained results of 0.8. These results indicate that the learning model Scramble with video media can influence the outcome of physics students learn as much as 79%.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui effect size model pembelajaran scramble dengan media video terhadap hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik kelas X MAN 1 pesisir barat pada materi pengukuran. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa uji normalitas pada kelas eksperimen Lhitung=0,161052dan kelas kontrol Lhitung=0.149135 sedangkan Ltabel= 0,1726. Syarat uji normalitas Lhitung< Ltabel maka data terdistribusi normal. Untuk uji homogenitas, Fhitung < Ftabel = 1,166< 1,96 makadata homogen. Uji hipotesis didapatkan thitung > t tabel   = 6,4 >1,708 artinya, terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran scramble dengan media video terhadap hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik materi pokok pengukuran di kelas X MAN 1 Pesisir Barat. Selanjutnya, diperoleh hasil uji effect size sebesar 0,8. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Scramble dengan media video dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar fisika peserta didik sebanyak 79%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an active learning media in the form of Web-Enhanced Course. This research and development research follows the development steps of Borg & Gall. Data collection instruments used were validation sheets and questionnaires. The assessments’ average score for the feasibility of the product from the material experts is 84.83%, from media experts is 81.76%, and informatics experts are 83.61% in the very feasible category. Furthermore, the percentage of the results of small-group testing is 76.44% and for field-testing is 82.97%. Thus, the developed product is suitable to be used as a media for physics learning. The web is developed using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) for the Basic Physics II subject

Abstract

Education in the 21st Century significantly emphasizes developing key competencies, including social responsibility. However, a substantial gap persists between students' theoretical understanding of social responsibility and its practical application, particularly in physics education. This study aims to develop a physics student worksheet based on the ENACT (Engage, Navigate, Anticipate, Conduct, and Take Action) learning model to foster social responsibility among students aged 15 to 16. This study employed the Research and Development (R and D) methodology and adopted the Borg and Gall development model (stages 1–7), involving validation by media and content experts and a practicality assessment. The sample comprised two teachers and 127 students from two public schools in Bandar Lampung, with data collection techniques including structured interviews, observations, and Likert-scale questionnaires. Validation results indicated high quality, with 92% from media experts and 94% from content experts, while practicality assessments yielded scores of 93% from teachers and 89% from students, categorizing the worksheet as highly practical. The teachers and students provided positive feedback, highlighting the worksheet's ease of use, relevance, engaging content, and potential to cultivate social responsibility among students. This study contributes to integrating digital technology into physics education by underscoring the role of interactive learning tools in fostering social responsibility. However, further research is recommended to examine the effectiveness of ENACT-based e-worksheets in diverse educational contexts and across different subject areas.

Abstract

Abstract:         As for the goal in this study are: To investigate the influence of the model learning Group Investigation (GI) to the learning outcomes of students in the Physics subject rectilinear motion class X SMAN 1 Jabung East Lampung. The method used is the method Quasi Experiment. Research conducted at SMAN 1 Jabung East Lampung and obtained class as a class experiment X4 and X2 class as the control class. Analysis of the data used t-test at the 0.05 level of significance of this can be seen thitung more than ttabel. From the research results, obtained by the average value of the final test on the control class is 69.67 with the qualification of "good" and the average value of the final test the experimental class is 79.16 with the qualification "good". To test for normality test indicates the end of the experimental class Lhitung less than Ltabel with a value of 0.151 less than 0.161 and the final value of the control class is 0.128 less than 0.161, it can be concluded that the final test data distribution "normal".Abstrak :  Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar Fisika peserta didik pada pokok bahasan gerak lurus kelas X di SMAN 1 Jabung Lampung Timur.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Quasi Eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Jabung Lampung Timur dan didapatkan kelas X4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis data yang digunakan uji t pada taraf signifikasi 0,05 hal ini dapat dilihat dari thitung lebih dari ttabel. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh nilai rata-rata tes akhir pada kelas kontrol adalah 69,67 dengan kualifikasi “baik” dan nilai rata-rata tes akhir pada kelas eksperimen adalah 79,16 dengan kualifikasi “baik”. Untuk uji normalitas tes akhir kelas eksperimen menunjukkan Lhitung kurang dari Ltabel dengan nilai 0,151 kurang dari 0,161 dan nilai akhir pada kelas kontrol yaitu 0,128 kurang dari 0,161 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa data tes akhir berdistribusi “normal”.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of physics learning by using the model of learning RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping and Sharing)to the comcept mapping skill of learners. This research is a kind of quasy experiment research. Sampling technique is done with porposive sampling technique. To measure and know the concept mapping skill with assessinh 4 aspect of the concept mapping skill. The result of analysis stated that there is difference of at a time when learners start making mind mapping in the first meeting, second meeting and the third meeting. This is evidenced from the acquisition of percentage of 49,30% at then first meeting, 74,58% at second meeting, and 90,13% at the third meeting which mean an increase in the ability create a mind map with the use of RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping and Sharing model. Then it can be concluded that, the study of physics with the RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping and Sharing) model more Effective against concept mapping skill.  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan  model pembelajaran RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping and Sharing) terhadap concept mapping skill peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian quasy experimen.Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tehnik purposive sampling. Untuk mengukur dan mengetahui kemampuan konsep mapping peserta didik dengan menilai 4 aspek dalam concept mapping. Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pada saat peserta didik memulai pembuatan mind mapping di pertemuan pertama, pertemuan kedua dan pertemuan ketiga. Hal ini dibuktikan dari perolehan nilai presentase sebesar 49,30% pada pertemuan pertama, 74,58% pada pertemuan kedua dan 90,13% pada pertemuan ketiga yang berarti adanya peningkatan pada kemampuan membuat mind map dengan pengguanaan model RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping and Sharing). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa, pembelajaran fisika dengan model RMS (Reading, Mind Mapping and Sharing) lebih efektif terhadap concept mapping skill peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims; 1) knowing the feasibility of web-based physics learning media that is enhanced by courses with guided inquiry models in class X SMA measurement material; 2) knowing the students' response to the interest of web-based physics learning media that was enhanced by a guided inquiry model in the X grade high school measurement material. This study used research and development (R and D) method using Borg and Gall model. The data of this study were obtained from educator questionnaires and student responses, validation questionnaires for material experts, media experts, and informatics experts.The results of the study of material experts 87.45%, media experts 83.61%, informatics experts 77.29%, and educators in three schools 87.77%, while the responses of students in three schools 82.43%. Based on material experts, media experts, informatics experts, and educators, it can be concluded that physics learning media is a website as a learning medium.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan; 1) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis web enhanced course dengan model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pengukuran SMA kelas X; 2) mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap ketertarikan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis web enhanced course dengan model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi pengukuran SMA kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R and D) dengan menggunakan modelBorg and Gall. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari angket pendidik dan respon peserta didik,angket validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli informatika. Hasil penelitian ahli materi 87,45%, ahli media 83,61%, ahli informatika 77,29%, dan pendidik ditiga sekolah 87,77%, sedangkan respon peserta didik ditiga sekolah 82,43%. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, ahli informatika, dan pendidik, maka dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran fisika berupa website layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: In physics learning a learning is needed which in addition to increasing understanding of concepts can also improve students' self-efficacy, one by one using the PBL model with scaffolding. With scaffolding, educators can provide assistance in stages to students who experience difficulties in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of PBL-based physics learning and scaffolding on understanding concepts and self efficacy. This type of research is the Quasy experiment using a non equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at one of the high schools in Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The instrument used to measure understanding of the concept is a three-tier diagnostic test consisting of 10 questions, while the instrument for measuring self-efficacy is the observation sheet. From this study, the results showed that PBL-based physics learning with scaffolding was effective against the understanding of concepts and the self-efficacy of students. The value of the effect size obtained is 1.29 with a high category.Abstrak: Dalam pembelajaran fisika dibutuhkan suatu pembelajaran yang selain dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep juga dapat meningkatkan self efficacy peserta didik, salah satungan dengan menggunakan model PBL dengan scaffolding. Dengan scaffolding,  pendidik dapat memberikan bantuan secara bertahap kepada peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek dari pembelajaran fisika berbasis PBL dengan scaffolding terhadap pemahaman konsep dan self efficacy. Jenis penelitian adalah Quasy experiment menggunakan desain non equivalent control group. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada salah satu SMA di Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep adalah three-tier test diagnostic yang terdiri atas 10 soal, sedangkan instrumen untuk mengukur self efficacy adalah lembar observasi.  Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa pembelajaran fisika berbasis PBL dengan scaffolding efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep serta self efficacy peserta didik. Nilai effect size yang diperoleh adalah 1,29 dengan kategori tinggi
