Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of fulfilling the right to early childhood education for migrant children in Malaysia who still face various challenges. This study aims to analyze the fulfillment of early childhood education rights in Segambut Learning Studio Malaysia, with a focus on learning strategies, curriculum implementation, facilities, implementation constraints, and the impact of implementation on early childhood. A qualitative approach was used with a phenomenological method, through participant observation, in-depth interviews with one educator and three parents, and photo documentation of learning activities. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model: data collection, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. Results show that the curriculum is tailored to children's needs through faith-based learning, culture, and social and emotional support. However, limited facilities, resources and children's motivation to learn are a challenge, as are policies, funds and the environment. This research contributes to recommending policy integration between Indonesia and Malaysia and strengthening community support. Collaborative efforts between government, communities and institutions are needed to realize an inclusive education environment for all migrant early childhood in Malaysia without exception.

Abstract

Urgensi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meninjau kembali peran ayah dalam perkembangan sosial anak usia dini, yang selama ini sering direduksi hanya sebagai penyedia materi. Paradigma tersebut tidak lagi relevan dengan kebutuhan perkembangan anak di era modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kelekatan aman (secure attachment) antara ayah dan anak terhadap pembentukan kecerdasan sosial pada anak usia 4–6 tahun. Kelekatan yang aman diyakini mampu menciptakan rasa diterima, membangun komunikasi terbuka, serta menumbuhkan kepercayaan, yang menjadi fondasi bagi perilaku sosial yang sehat dan adaptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan hermeneutik. Subjek penelitian melibatkan empat pasang ayah dan anak di TK Islam Al-Mughni, Kota Bekasi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam dengan ayah, observasi perilaku sosial anak di lingkungan sekolah, serta dokumentasi pendukung. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode untuk meningkatkan validitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ayah yang memiliki kedekatan emosional, kehadiran fisik yang konsisten, dan pola komunikasi yang responsif berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kecerdasan sosial anak. Anak-anak yang memiliki kelekatan aman dengan ayah menunjukkan perilaku seperti empati, kerja sama, inisiatif, dan rasa percaya diri yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan anak yang memiliki pola kelekatan tidak aman. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya keterlibatan aktif ayah dalam pengasuhan anak usia dini, khususnya dalam pembentukan kecerdasan sosial. Rekomendasi ditujukan kepada institusi pendidikan dan keluarga agar memberikan ruang lebih besar bagi keterlibatan ayah dalam kegiatan tumbuh kembang anak.

Abstract

Kecerdasan emosional menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini. Kecerdasan emosional merupakan kemampuan mengelola perasaan dalam diri dan orang lain. Tidak semua orang tua mengasuh anaknya sendiri. Beberapa orang tua ada yang memilih untuk sama-sama bekerja. Keadaan ini menjadikan orang tua memerlukan pihak lain dalam pengasuhan anak. Kurangnya waktu orang tua untuk mengasuh anak tentunya akan berdampak pada perkembangan kecerdasan emosional anaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi tentang bagaimana perkembangan emosional anak usia dini dengan pengasuhan dual career family dan dampak pengasuhan dual career family bagi perkembangan kecerdasan emosional anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian fenomenologi. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik observasi pada perilaku anak dan wawancara yang mendalam dengan orang tua serta wawancara dengan pengasuh sebagai informan tambahan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling Peneliti melibatkan 4 subjek dengan kriteria anak usia 3-6 tahun dengan kedua orang tua yang bekerja dan memerlukan bantuan pengasuh untuk membantu pengasuhan anak. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Miles & Huberman. Terdapat tiga jenis kegiatan dalam analisis data Miles & Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena dual career family menjadikan suatu keluarga kekurangan watu dalam pengasuhan anak. Anak dengan tipe dual career belum mampu mengambil tindakan yang baik ketika emosinya muncul, mudah marah dan bertindak agresif. Anak juga mudah menyerah saat melakukan sesuatu hal yang menurutnya sulit untuk diselesaikan tanpa mencoba terlebih dahulu. Kurangnya kesadaran tentang perasaan seseorang dan menyelesaikan konflik sosial dengan kekerasan juga belum dimiliki oleh anak.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an effort to provide equal education for all children, including children with special needs (CWSN), within the same educational system. This study aims to identify and analyze the strengthening of early childhood education (ECE) teacher competencies in supporting inclusive education in Indonesia. Based on a systematic review of 16 relevant articles, it was found that although many ECE teachers show a positive attitude toward inclusion, they feel professionally unprepared to face the challenges presented by CWSN. Limitations in relevant training and a lack of in-depth resources are the main obstacles in implementing inclusive education in ECE settings. However, community-based training, workshops, and mentoring have proven to enhance teachers' understanding and skills in managing inclusive classrooms. Additionally, collaboration with parents and other professionals, such as psychologists and therapists, is also an important factor in supporting the success of inclusive education. This study shows that strengthening teacher competencies through continuous and collaborative training can address existing challenges and improve the quality of inclusive education in ECE. The findings provide significant contributions to designing more effective policies to support inclusive education in Indonesia.   ABSTRAK Pendidikan inklusif merupakan upaya untuk memberikan pendidikan yang setara bagi semua anak, termasuk anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK), dalam satu sistem pendidikan yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis penguatan kompetensi guru PAUD dalam mendukung pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia. Berdasarkan tinjauan sistematis terhadap 16 artikel yang relevan, ditemukan bahwa meskipun banyak guru PAUD menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap inklusi, mereka merasa kurang siap secara profesional dalam menghadapi tantangan yang dihadapi ABK. Keterbatasan dalam pelatihan yang relevan dan kurangnya sumber daya mendalam menjadi hambatan utama dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusif di PAUD. Meskipun demikian, pelatihan berbasis komunitas, lokakarya, dan mentoring terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola kelas inklusif. Selain itu, kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan tenaga profesional lainnya, seperti psikolog dan terapis, juga menjadi faktor penting untuk mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan yang berkelanjutan dan berbasis kolaborasi dapat mengatasi tantangan yang ada dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan inklusif di PAUD. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam merancang kebijakan yang lebih efektif untuk mendukung pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengalaman belajar dan bermain anak usia dini kisaran 5-6 tahun di KB/TK Darussalam P4A Semarang yang memiliki keterbatasan ruang. Melalui metode Pendidikan Masyarakat, kami merancang dan mengimplementasikan permainan edukatif "Plastic Rush" dan "Motoric Wall". Uji coba langsung menunjukkan respon positif dari anak-anak dan guru, menegaskan efektivitas permainan sebagai strategi pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan pelatihan dan penyuluhan praktis yang meningkatkan kualitas interaksi bermain dan belajar.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Outdoor Learning sangat penting diterapkan karena dapat meningkatkan life skill pada anak sekitar 70%. Pembelajaran Outdoor Learning bertujuan untuk Menerapakan kedisiplinan kepada anak, dan mengajarkan kepada anak cara menghargai waktu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa, dengan menggunakan metode Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian: pembelajaran Outdoor dapat dilakukan dengan metode pembiasaan, metode penugasan, metode observasi. Simpulan: pembelajaran outdoor dengan Metode pembiasaan, metode penugasan, metode observasi dan mengajak anak bermain dan berolahraga di luar sekolah sangat efisien dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar anak. Tantangan yang didapat anak susah fokus, membutuhkan waktu lama, menyiapkan kegiatan sesuai usia anak, dan adanya anak yang tantrum ketika pembelajaran outdoor. Harapan guru anak semangat belajar, mendapat pengalaman, bertanggung jawab, melatih keberanian, mengeksplor tempat baru. Faktor penghambat: dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan apabila guru lalai dalam pengawasan.

Abstract

Inclusive education in Early Childhood Education aims to ptovide equal opportunities fot children with special needs to be able to learn with other children and develop their potential from an early age. This study aims to examine inclusive education servises in the Early Childhood Education of the PESAT Foundation in Central Jawa, focusing on five kindergartens: TK Kristen Pniel Terpadu, TK Kristen Imanuel Terpadu, TK Kristen Benih Kasih Terpadu, TK Kristen Petra Terpadu, and TK Kristen Sion Tridamarsari. This study uses a type of quantitative research with questionnaires as a data collection tool. The data analysis method use in this study is a SWOT analysis conducted with EFAS and IFAS calculations. This includes shecking Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. The results of the study can be obtained by conducting a SWOT analysis based on IFAS and EFAS, followed by calculations using AFE and IFE. The Results of the study obtained results with this SWOT approach, the position of Early Childhood Education of the PESAT Foundation in Central Jawa is in quadrant I, namely using a growth (growing) strategy. This position indicates the application of a growth strategy or a progressive strategy. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that inclusive education services implemented by schools have greater strengths than weaknesses and greater opportunities than treats, thus supporting progressive growth policie.

Abstract

Basic Health Research data for 2018 revealed that Indonesia is ranked fifth and fourth highest in the world regarding wasting and stunting rates. The causes of stunting include limited access to nutritious food due to economic factors and knowledge. The purpose of writing this article is to understand the role of the government and analyze government programs in dealing with stunting in early childhood in Kebonsari Village, Jember Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, using primary data from observations, interviews and documentation with Health Center midwives at the Kebonsari Village Health Center. There is secondary data from several research journals to find out what government programs are in dealing with stunting in early childhood in Kebonsari Village. This research focuses on government programs in handling stunting in Kebonsari Village, Jember Regency. The results of this research show that the government program in dealing with stunting in early childhood in Kebonsari Village is a concrete step taken by the government to overcome stunting in Kebonsari Village which is very concerned. In Kebonsari Village, we always carry out ongoing evaluations to study and find solutions to the stunting problem. The government carries out cross-sector coordination to carry out evaluations and follow-up by making direct contact with economically disadvantaged communities in fulfilling nutrition. The program is carried out by providing food assistance, as well as providing outreach regarding stunting prevention programs by conducting training courses, providing counseling, seminars, workshops and so on. Providing counseling on child rearing patterns at posyandu is also carried out to prevent the increase in stunting and to reduce stunting rates, providing milk for pregnant women from the Kebonsari Village Health Center. improving community nutrition through the supplementary food program at posyandu

Abstract

The research aims to explore practical experiences related to the implementation of internationalization in PGPAUD study programs/departments that already have international classes. The approach used is descriptive quantitative research, with the research sample being lecturers and students in the international class, a total of 15 lecturers and 15 students, each taken from 5 classes in three batches. The results showed that the implementation of the learning process in the international class was generally the same for learning activities, starting with prayer, delivery of apperceptions and materials, group discussions in the form of case studies or project approaches. In addition, at the beginning of the first meeting, lecturers usually provide reinforcement and motivation for students in international classes. The facilities and infrastructure provided in the international class are adequate, starting from classrooms, internet networks and lecture materials. The need for program guidelines will guide students in carrying out lectures while in international classes.

Abstract

The use of early childhood gadgets reaps a lot of attention from various parties because the use of gadgets by early children can adversely affect the ability of early childhood empathy. This study aims of this study is to describe the ability of early childhood empathy gadget users in Banyumanik Village. This study uses qualitative methods using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study explain that excessive use of gadgets by early childhood in Banyumanik village has a negative impact on children's behavior that can be seen from the reaction of children in the form of crying, hitting angry at parents to kick the door when getting a refusal to use gadgets. In addition, early childhood gadget users have less concern. The behavior explains that early childhood gadget users have poor empathy abilities. The role of parents in monitoring the use of early childhood gadgets in Banyumanik village can be said to be lacking. This is because parents are not consistent in supervising and educating early childhood in the use of gadgets so that children have less empathic abilities, for example, children cannot read other people's messages well and are selfish. However, in Banyumanik village there are also parents who are consistent and have a firm stance against the use of early childhood gadgets because they hope their children who are still early can have good empathy skills such as not being selfish. Constraints parents in improving the ability of early childhood empathy gadget users include the availability of time parents supervise the use of gadgets, care and attention to the low early childhood, knowledge of parents related to early childhood empathy skills, video content on social media that set a bad example and the consistent level of parents in supervising as well as educating early childhood gadget users.
