Abstract

Indonesia is among the countries with a high prevalence of stunting. National data indicate that efforts to reduce stunting require cross-sectoral attention, including at the primary service level such as Posyandu. The Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) reported that the stunting prevalence in Cimahi City is 16.4%, with a target to reduce the stunting rate to below 14% by 2024. Stunting is a major public health issue of national concern. This activity aims to enhance the capacity of Posyandu cadres in Cimahi City to support the national efforts in reducing stunting rates. The implementation method includes socialization activities, Self-Awareness Surveys (SMD), Community Consultations at the RW Level (MMRW), implementation, and evaluation. Information dissemination and training are delivered through effective media such as PowerPoint presentations, leaflets, X-banners, and videos. The results of the activity, assessed through pre-tests and post-tests, show an increase in the knowledge of Posyandu cadres, with the average score rising from 60/100 to 80/100, and some cadres even achieving the maximum score. This indicates that the provided materials were well received and understood. The conclusion of this empowerment activity is that there has been an increase in the knowledge capacity of Posyandu cadres regarding their roles and functions in stunting prevention.

Abstract

Abstract

Coastal communities are often identified as communities with sharp economic disparities, dense settlements, low skills, poor, slums, and low education. The poverty level is caused by the disparity in income between the entrepreneurial fishermen group and the fishing labor family group. The main problems faced by the target community groups include two areas, namely (1) low knowledge and understanding of family financial planning and (2) lack of skills to produce their own consumptive goods. The method of implementing activities is collaborative and productive. In the initial stage, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the utilization of Baruga Pesisir as a community empowerment service center was conducted, followed by counseling on family financial planning, and training on the production of liquid soap for laundry and dish soap. The results of this activity are (1) the community independently took the initiative to utilize the Baruga Pesisir as a place for the education of fisherwomen, (2) the community has a level of understanding of family financial management, and (3) fisherwomen have independent soap production skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of chicken manure bokashi and NPK Phonska fertilizer on the growth and yield of sweet corn (Zea Mays saccaharate sturt). The research was conducted at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Madako University Tolitoli, from March to May 2025, using a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two treatment factors. The first factor was the dosage of chicken manure bokashi (B), consisting of B0 = without bokashi, B1 = 5 tons/ha (1 kg/plot), and B2 = 10 tons/ha (2 kg/plot). The second factor was the dosage of NPK Phonska fertilizer (N), consisting of N0 = without NPK, N1 = (80 g/plot or equivalent to 6 g/plant), and N2 = (140 g/plot or equivalent to 11 g/plant). Each treatment combination was replicated three times, resulting in 27 experimental plots. The results showed a significant interaction between chicken manure bokashi and NPK Phonska fertilizer on plant height, number of leaves, fresh cob weight, cob weight with husk, cob length, and number of kernels per row. The best combination was obtained with B2N2 (bokashi 10 tons/ha and NPK Phonska 700 kg/ha), producing a plant height of 166.06 cm, 7.00 leaves, fresh cob weight of 398.06 g, cob weight with husk of 567.78 g, cob length of 22.00 cm, and 40.61 kernels per row.

Abstract

This article examines The Dimension of Contempt of Court Versus the Immunity Rights of Advocates in the Indonesian Judicial System.” Recently, court trials have attracted widespread public attention not because people attend the courtrooms physically, but because the proceedings are now accessible through electronic systems, allowing anyone to watch trials, including the legal debates and arguments between public prosecutors and defense attorneys (advocates), or between plaintiffs or their legal representatives (advocates) and defendants or their counsel (advocates). These debates sometimes spiral out of control, resulting in the use of insulting or degrading language among participants, which is considered to undermine the authority and dignity of the court a situation referred to as contempt of court. Consequently, advocates have been reported for such behavior. This paper therefore examines three main issues: first, how the judicial system and the concept of contempt of court operate in Indonesia; second, how contempt of court relates to the immunity rights of advocates; and third, what factors influence advocates to commit acts that may constitute contempt of court during trials. This study employs empirical legal research with a conceptual approach, utilizing secondary data consisting of: (1) primary legal materials, which include fundamental norms such as the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, statutory regulations, uncodified legal materials, and jurisprudence; (2) secondary legal materials, which explain primary legal materials, such as draft laws, research findings, and scholarly works in the field of law; and (3) tertiary legal materials, which provide guidance or explanations of both primary and secondary legal materials, such as dictionaries and encyclopedias. The findings reveal that: (1) Indonesia’s judicial system adheres to a “combined system”, and contempt of court refers to any act that may be considered to humiliate, obstruct, hinder, or undermine the duties of the judiciary; (2) the immunity rights of advocates and the concept of contempt of court are interrelated and mutually supportive in maintaining the dignity and authority of the judiciary; and (3) acts of contempt of court committed by advocates during court proceedings are influenced by several factors, including: (a) the structure of the legal system, (b) the substance of the law, and (c) the legal culture.
