Abstract

Abstrak: Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Manajemen Program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) di SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Melalui teknik purposive sampling ditetapkan sumber data dalam penelitian ini, meliputi: Kepala Sekolah, Tim Pengembang PPK, Koordinator Program PPK, Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pola interaktif data, meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan program PPK di SMK Karsa Mulya terlaksana dengan efektif dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter peserta didik, dan menjadikan SMK Karsa Mulya sebagai salah satu sekolah kejuruan swasta rujukan dalam pelaksanaan program PPK di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Abstract: In general, this study aims to describe the Management of Character Education Strengthening Program (PPK) at SMK Karsa Mulya Palangka Raya. This research is a qualitative research with a case study design. Through purposive sampling technique, the data sources in this study were determined, including: Principal, PPK Development Team, PPK Program Coordinator, Teachers and Education Personnel. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis used an interactive pattern of data, including: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Validation of data using triangulation of sources and methods. The results showed that the management of the PPK program at SMK Karsa Mulya was carried out effectively in developing student character, and making SMK Karsa Mulya as one of the referral private vocational schools in the implementation of PPK program in Central Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai ASN sejumlah 156 orang. Melalui teknik Proportional Random Sampling dan rumus Slovin ditetapkan sampel sejumlah 61 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket (kuisioner). Data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana menggunakan SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Pengaruh variabel kepemimpinan terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai adalah sebesar 38,1%; sedangkan sisanya 61,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership on the performance of the employees of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Education Office. The population in this study were all 156 ASN employees. Through the Proportional Random Sampling technique and the Slovin formula, a sample of 61 people was determined. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The data were processed and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis using SPSS 20. The results showed that leadership had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Education Office. The influence of the leadership variable on the employee performance variable is 38.1%; while the remaining 61.9% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Sumber data meliputi: Kepala Sekolah, Waka. bidang Sarana dan prasarana, Ketua Program Keahlian dan Kepala Laboratorium. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pola interaktif data, meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan laboratorium otomatisasi dan tata kelola perkantoran yang dilaksanakan dengan mendasarkan pada prinsip dasar manajemen dan mengacu pada standar pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan menjadikan laboratorium berfungsi secara efektif dalam mendukung proses dan hasil belajar siswa secara optimal. Abstract: This study aims to describe the Automation and Office Management Laboratory at SMKN 2 Palangka Raya. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Data sources include: Principal, Deputy Principal for Infrastructure, Head of Expertise Program and Head of Laboratory. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis used an interactive pattern of data, including: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Validation of data using triangulation of sources and methods. The results of this study showed that the Automation and Office Management Laboratory which is carried out based on the basic principles of management and refers to the management standards of educational facilities and infrastructure makes the laboratory function effectively in supporting the process and student learning outcomes optimally.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Pengelolaan UKS di MTsN 1 Palangka Raya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus, sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari: Kepala Sekolah, Ketua Pengelola UKS, dan Anggota Tim Pengelola UKS. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui tahapan: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Pengabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan UKS dilakukan melalui tahapan: penentuan tim pelaksana, penyusunan rencana kegiatan tahunan, penyusunan rencana kerja yang mengacu pada program UKS, dan penyusunan anggaran; (2) Pelaksanaan UKS secara umum telah terlaksana dengan baik walaupun dalam pelaksanaannya masih terdapat beberapa hal yang belum optimal; (3) Pengawasan UKS dilakukan pihak sekolah bekerjasama dengan stakeholder sekolah; dan (4) Faktor pendukung meliputi: komitmen warga sekolah, dukungan dari stakeholder sekolah, dan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana UKS yang standar; Sedangkan faktor kendala yang dihadapi adalah terkait dengan masih ditemukannya perilaku dari sebagian siswa yang kurang disiplin dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah. Abstract: This study aims to describe the UKS Management at MTsN 1 Palangka Raya. Through a qualitative approach with a case study design, the data sources in this study consisted of: Principal, the Head of the UKS Management, and the members of the UKS Team Management. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis goes through the stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Validation of data using source triangulation technique. The results showed that: (1) UKS planning is carried out through the following stages: determination of the implementing team, preparation of annual activity plans, preparation of work plans that refer to the UKS program, and budgeting; (2) The implementation of UKS in general has been carried out well, although in its implementation there are still some things that are not optimal; (3) UKS supervision is carried out by the school in collaboration with school stakeholders; and (4) supporting factors include: commitment from school residents, support from school stakeholders, and the availability of standard UKS facilities and infrastructure; While the constraint factors faced are related to the behavior of some students who are not disciplined in maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Manajemen Perpustakaan Sekolah Terakreditasi. Penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus ini dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. Melalui teknik purposive sampling ditetapkan sumber data dalam penelitian ini, meliputi: Kepala Sekolah, Kepala Perpustakaan, Tenaga Perpustakaan, Tenaga Administrasi Perpustakaan dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pola interaktif data, meliputi: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Pengabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan sekolah yang dikelola dengan menerapkan fungsi-fungsi manajemen yang baik, mampu menjadikan perpustakaan sekolah SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya sebagai sekolah pertama di Kota Palangka Raya yang berhasil meraih akreditasi tingkat nasional serta berbagai raihan prestasi di tingkat provinsi maupun nasional. Abstract: This study aims to describe the Accredited School Library Management. This qualitative research with a case study design was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya. Through purposive sampling technique, the data sources in this study were determined, including: Principals, Heads of Libraries, Library Staff, Library Administration Staff and Students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis used an interactive pattern of data, including: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Validation of data using source triangulation technique. The results showed that the school library, which was managed by implementing good management functions, was able to make the Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya high school library the first school in Palangka Raya City to achieve national level accreditation and various achievements at the provincial and national levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan petakompetensi utuh guru SD daerah terpencil daratan pedalaman, dan 2)mengetahui bagian-bagian (indikator) dari masing-masing kompetensiyang perlu untuk ditingkatkan dan dikembangkan.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif denganpendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 21 buah SD yangberada di wilayah kecamatan Damang Batu dan kecamatan MiriManasa Kabupaten Gunung Mas dengan melibatkan 86 orang guruyang ditetapkan sebagai sampel penelitian (sampel total).Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket yang diberikan kepadaresponden. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kompetensi utuh guruSD daerah terpencil daratan pedalaman Kabupaten Gunung Massecara umum berada dalam kategori Baik. Hal tersebut ditunjukkandengan rata-rata skor kompetensi aktual guru sebesar 3,56 denganindeks penilaian tanggapan responden sebesar 71,12%; dan 2) dari 4kompetensi utuh guru, terdapat 2 buah kompetensi yang memilikiindikator dengan kesenjangan yang cukup menonjol yangmembutuhkan perhatian khusus dan mendesak untuk segeraditingkatkan dan dikembangkan, yaitu: a) kompetensi pedagogik padaindikator “memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untukkepentingan pembelajaran” dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 2,64 denganindeks penilaian tanggapan responden sebesar 52,86%, dan b)kompetensi profesional pada indikator “memanfaatkan teknologiinformasi dan komunikasi untuk berkomunikasi dan mengembangkandiri” dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 2,91 dengan indeks penilaiantanggapan responden sebesar 58,29%.

Abstract

The phenomenon of demoralized among students today requires schools to optimize the management of character education, including through the boarding school system. This study aims to describe the management of boarding school character education in terms of planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating aspects, as well as supporting factors and obstacles in character education management at SMP Bethel Rehobot Boarding School Palangka Raya. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Through the purposive sampling technique, the research data sources were determined, including: The Principal, School Foundation, Vice principal of Curriculum, and the Dormitory Manager. Data analysis uses interactive data patterns, including: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Validation of data using source triangulation technique. The results showed that the management of character education with the boarding school system which is carried out based on the basic principles of management, i.e. planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring and evaluating, are effective in building and developing the character of students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Management of Inclusive Learning at SDIT Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Sources of data for this research i.e. the Principal, LSC Coordinator, Class Teacher, Assistant Teacher, and Parents of students with special needs. Collecting data using interview, observation and documentation methods. Data analysis uses an interactive model from Miles, Huberman & Saldana (2014). Validation of data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study showed that the management of inclusive learning implemented at SDIT Palangka Raya is quite effective in providing educational services as well as developing the potential, interests, and talents of inclusive students. The success of SDIT Sahabat Alam Palangka Raya in managing and implementing inclusive learning has made that public elementary school with the nature model/concept as a reference for the people of Palangka Raya City to obtain educational services for students with special needs.

Abstract

Not all schools understand the policies and procedures for carrying out the school functions based on SNP, among others, caused by due to the lack of understanding/inability of schools to conduct internal self-evaluations, which will provide the description of the real school quality gaps against the SNP, as well as a basis for reference in preparing the RKS and RKAS. This study aims to describe the quality profile of remote elementary schools (SD) in Kapuas Districts, Central Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. The descriptive study with a qualitative approach was conducted in 6 (six) remote areas in SD. The data sources in this study consisted of 6 (six) principals and the Kapuas Districts Education Office personnel. Through interview techniques, observation, and filling out the e-EDS instrument developed by the researchers referring to the SNP for primary and secondary education, quality data of the remote areas SD was collected; then analyzed using interactive data analysis. The results showed that all of the remote areas SD get a “red report”. This study provides additional evidence that disparity problem of primary education quality in remote areas has not been handled properly by education policy makers in Kapuas Districts and related stakeholders. We recommend to the related parties to “borrowing” policies from other countries that have succeeded to overcoming the problems of remote areas education as a means to carry out lessons learned and redesign policies in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to map the quality of elementary schools in remote areas in Kapuas and North Barito districts Central Kalimantan Province based on modified e-EDS by considering the ease of use and understanding of the “user” (principal of remote primary schools). This descriptive study using a qualitative approach was conducted in 9 (nine) remote elementary schools in the Kapuas and North Barito districts. Sources of data in this study consisted of nine school principals and the education officials from the two districts. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview (interview), observation, and e-EDS instruments which were developed referring to the SNP for elementary and secondary education. Data analysis using interactive data analysis. The data validation technique used the confirmability technique. The results showed that all elementary schools in remote areas received “red report cards”. The issue of disparities in the quality of education in remote areas has not been properly handled by district and provincial policymakers and related stakeholders. In this article, we provide recommendations for conducting policy lending from countries that are successful in overcoming education problems in remote areas as a means of conducting policy lessons to address the quality problems of remote elementary schools in the future.
