Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence return on assets (ROA) in the automotive and component sub-sector companies. There are four factors tested, namely, working capital turnover (WCTO), company size, current ratio (CR), and debt to equity ratio (DER). The automotive sub-sector companies that make up the population of this study are companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2011-2020 period. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, obtained from a population of 13 companies into nine companies as a sample. Proof of the results was carried out by means of panel data regression analysis through STATA 16. Data processing showed that the results were only CR which did not significantly affect ROA. While the WCTO is positively significant, firm size and DER have a significant negative effect on ROA. Suggestion, due to the variation in results, future researchers need to do research in a longer term.

Abstract

The failure of the budget absorption target in the Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) of Capital Region (DKI) of Jakarta resulted in the loss of the benefits of spending because the funds allocated were not fully utilized. If the budget allocation is efficient, then the state can optimize the limited sources of funds to fund strategic activities. This study aims to examine the budget planning documents, administrative documents, procurement of goods, and budget execution affect the absorption of the budget. This study uses a quantitative approach, namely a research method based on the philosophy of positivism. The population in this study is the entire province of DKI Jakarta, which is as many as 23 OPD. Sampling in this study using a purposive sampling technique. Research as the whole population was used as a sample of 69 PPK-OPD people, OPD treasurers, and financial staff also called the population sample (census). Hypothesis testing is done by testing variance-based SEM or Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the Smart pls 3.0 program. The study results found that planning documents and administrative documents had a positive but not significant effect on budget absorption. Meanwhile, the procurement of goods/services and the implementation of the budget have a positive and significant impact on budget absorption. This study suggests that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, to increase budget absorption, is expected to give serious attention to the problem of budget absorption by continuously improving the budget planning process in terms of documents and administration, starting from the preparation of the RKA to the Determination of the Regional Budget. Accelerate the budget implementation process by issuing Treasury Official Decrees on time, not delaying work, timely administrative completion processes in implementing the budget referring to the approved DPA and Cash Budget. Carry out the process of procuring goods and services by applicable laws and regulations.

Abstract

In-depth pricing strategies in international marketing are examined in this literature review in an effort to provide a thorough understanding of the theory, impact, and conceptual framework. The background of the research emphasizes how complex international markets are and how pricing strategies must be modified to account for trade regulations, cultural variances, and market dynamics. By examining the theories of elasticity of demand, purchasing power parity, market penetration, and price differentiation, this research methodology employs a methodical literature review approach. The findings indicate that striking the correct balance between these factors is necessary for a successful pricing strategy. Demand elasticity is essential for adapting prices to the market, and relative price adjustments are guided by purchasing power parity. While price differentiation works well for high-quality products, market penetration strategies can also be beneficial in gaining market share. The talk focuses on the opportunities and new challenges that come with putting this strategy into practice. The study's conclusion highlights the significance of having a thorough understanding of environmental theories and variables when putting responsive pricing strategies into practice in global marketplaces. The ability of the business to consistently adjust to shifting global dynamics is just as important to its success as determining the appropriate prices.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the parallel mediation of ethical work climate dimensions on the relationship between transformational leadership and employee organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). This study contributed to the support of transformational leadership literature by proposing a parallel mediation model of ethical work climate dimensions on the relationship between transformational leadership and OCB. This research is associative research, therefore the method used in this research is a quantitative method. This study took a population of employees in two companies in Jakarta. The sample size is based on the Yamane formula calculation and obtained 201 employees as the sample. The sampling technique chosen was the simple random sampling probability sampling method. The analytical technique for testing parallel mediation was using a macro process assisted by SPSS 26 and Process V3.5 tools. The results showed that transformational leadership has a positive and significant impact on employee OCB. The results of the mediation test were supported by data, namely the overall ethical work climate mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and OCB. And on a per-dimensional basis, only the review dimension did not mediate the effect of transformational leadership on OCB. These results revealed that employees will further improve their civic behavior if they are supported by the cultivation of an ethical work climate, especially those that display three dimensions, namely togetherness, equality, and openness. In addition, employees will increasingly display self-sacrificing civic behavior by increasing the application of leadership styles that display a transformational style. Practical implications and suggestions are presented in this study.
