Abstract

All religions teach peace and welfare to their adherents through tolerance. The religious teaching, however, can also be the trigger of interreligious conflicts as it happened in Ambon in 1999-2011. This study aims at determining whether or not the knowledge, education level, perception, and attitudes of the Ambones’ Muslim community affect the interreligious tolerance in Ambon. This research employed quantitative research using survey design. The sample of the study consisted of 100 Muslims in Ambon city. The data have been collected through a questionnaire distributed, and they have been analyzed descriptively and inferentially using the SPSS program. The results found that the knowledge, level of education, perception, and attitude of the Ambones’ Muslim community collectively had a positive impact on the interreligious tolerance amongst the Ambones’ community. However, this perception has no significant effect on tolerance partially. The results of this study contributed to prevent and manage further unpredictable of interreligious conflict in the city of Ambon, Maluku. الملخصتعلم جميع الأديان السلام والازدهار للمعتندين من خلال التسامح. ومع ذلك ، يمكن أن تكون التعاليم الدينية أيضًا محفزًا للصراع بين الأديان كما حدث في أمبون في 1999-2011. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد ما إذا كانت المعرفة ، ومستوى التعليم ، وتصورات ومواقف المجتمع المسلم في أمبون تؤثر على التسامح بين الأديان في مالوكو. يستخدم هذا البحث البحث الكمي باستخدام تصميم المسح. تكونت عينة البحث من 100 مسلم في مدينة أمبون. تم جمع البيانات من خلال استبيان وتحليلها وصفيًا واستنتاجيًا باستخدام SPSS 19. ووجدت نتائج الدراسة أن معرفة ومستوى التعليم والإدراك وموقف المجتمع الإسلامي في أمبون بشكل جماعي كان لها تأثير إيجابي على التسامح بين الأديان بين شعب أمبون. ومع ذلك ، ليس لهذا التصور تأثير كبير على التسامح الجزئي. تساهم نتائج هذه الدراسة في منع وإدارة الصراع بين الأديان الذي لا يمكن توقعه أكثر في مدينة أمبون ، مالوكو.الكلمات المفتاحية: التصور ، مسلمو مالوكو ، الموقف ، التسامح بين الأديان                                                                         AbstrakSemua agama mengajarkan perdamaian dan kesejahteraan bagi penganutnya melalui toleransi. Namun, ajaran agama juga bisa menjadi pemicu konflik antaragama seperti yang terjadi di Ambon pada 1999-2011. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menentukan apakah pengetahuan, tingkat pendidikan, persepsi, dan sikap komunitas Muslim Ambon mempengaruhi toleransi antaragama di Maluku. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain survei. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 100 Muslim di kota Ambon. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan program SPSS 19. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pengetahuan, tingkat pendidikan, persepsi, dan sikap komunitas Muslim Ambon secara kolektif memiliki dampak positif pada toleransi antaragama di antara masyarakat Ambon. Namun, persepsi ini tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap toleransi secara parsial. Hasil dari penelitian ini berkontribusi untuk mencegah dan mengelola konflik antaragama yang tidak dapat diprediksi lebih lanjut di kota Ambon, Maluku.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini difokuskan pada kegiatan pelatihan peningkatan keterampilan pembuatan produk abon ikan skala tradisional berdasarkan prosedur terstandar, serta pendampingan pelaksanaan produksi dan pemasaran produk bagi kelompok nelayan Poklahsar, Desa Kaki Air, Kabupaten Buru. Proses pendampingan dan pelatihan peningkatan keterampilan akan dikhususkan pada 3 aspek yang menjadi solusi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu Aspek Manajerial yang meliputi akses dan informasi permodalan usaha, dan peningkatan ketrampilan agenda pelaksanaan produksi; Aspek Peningkatan Kapasitas Teknologi (Proses Produksi) yang meliputi peningkatan pemahaman produk olahan yang bermutu dengan mematuhi serangkaian peraturan dan prosedur yang tercantum dalam Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) dan Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP); peningkatan efisiensi usaha menggunakan peralatan yang memadai, serta aspek teknologi pemasaran yang meliputi pembuatan fanpage produk abon ikan. Target yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan ini yaitu penerapan teknologi produk olahan yang terstandar sesuai dengan GMP dan SSOP berbasis demonstrasi partisipatif, pelatihan proses produksi dan penggunaan alat produksi. Serta sistem pemasaran yang menggunakan sistem digitalisasi.

Abstract

Listening skills (maharah istima’) are the initial abilities that a person must master in learning Arabic. However, due to the lack of attention to Maharah Istima's learning, which was caused by a lack of variation in learning, a teacher / lecturer must be able to innovate in teaching. One form of innovation is to use video media to teach special materials. This study aims to describe the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as a blended learning in Maharah Istima’ II lectures as well as the perception of Arabic Language Department (PBA) students of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang State Islamic University 2016/2017. This research is a qualitative research with data collection methods by observation and interviews. The results showed that ICT in maharah istima learning could improve student learning motivation. In addition it can help students add new vocabulary and can be applied in speaking skills (maharah kalam).

Abstract

The death of 11 of the 71 local languages ​​in Maluku without a proper burial is a very sad thing for generations of speakers of these languages. Meanwhile, 71 other local languages ​​are threatened with extinction. Even though there has been a Maluku province regional regulation No. 14 of 2005 and Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2009 as well as central government policies through Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology regulations No. 7 of 2022 concerning the independent curriculum. These efforts, up to now, have not produced effective results, so it is very urgent to research and revitalize it based on the needs and conditions of the Maluku people, especially on the island of Buru to prevent language death and extinction. Therefore, this research aims to develop 4 in 1 multilingual-based Maluku regional language teaching materials (Buru language) in implementing the Merdeka curriculum in Buru Regency. To achieve the objectives of this research, the appropriate research method to employ is Research and Development (R&D) with an analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model design. This design shows several research stages starting with analyzing the needs of students, teachers, and stakeholders as well as analyzing the situation in 6 Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) schools in the Buru district. The results of data analysis will be used as material to design and develop syllabi, lesson plans, and Buru language textbooks in the 4 in 1 multilingual learning model, then develop textbook products and will be implemented in the independent curriculum and evaluated through experimental tests on small, medium and large scales

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to 1) determine the behavior of parents in educating children's religiosity; 2) identify children's actions in applying religiosity in society. The location of this research is in Ubung Village, Lilialy District, Buru Regency, because this location is assessed as the role of parents in educating children's religiosity very high and intensively. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The method in this research is the method of observation with data collection techniques used, namely in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The results showed 1) parental behavior in educating religiosity in the village of Ubung includes (1) democratic parenting or behavior. In this pattern there are four aspects applied by parents in Ubung Village, namely (a) aspects of affection, (b) aspects of communication, (c) aspects of self-control, (d) aspects of maturity demands; (2) permissive parenting; (3) attachment parenting; (4) authoritarian parenting; (5) helicopter parenting; (6) negligent parenting. 2) As for the children's actions in implementing religiosity in the community in Ubung Village, namely looking happy and happy in their interactions, never learning to control their behavior, having a high sense of care for their surroundings, often less happy, withdrawn, afraid, and less confident When comparing themselves with others, children tend to be afraid of expressing opinions, low self-esteem, and so on.

Abstract

Corpus linguistics, the study of language form and function using computerized corpora, involves collecting extensive electronic texts to analyze language usage. It serves various objectives: qualitative analysis, exploring nuances in language use, and quantitative analysis, identifying patterns in word usage and collocations. Corpus linguistics tracks language variation over time, aids language teaching, supports lexicography, and contributes to discourse analysis. Its evolution grew from the 1950s to the present day, marked by technological advancements and theoretical integration. The article underscores the significance of qualitative analysis in providing contextual insights into language use. The systematic creation of a corpus involves steps like text selection, data collection, preprocessing, annotation, and quality control. Various qualitative analysis techniques, from discourse analysis to lexical semantics, offer diverse perspectives for studying linguistic phenomena. This article provides a concise overview of corpus linguistics, its evolution, the importance of qualitative analysis, corpus creation, and qualitative analysis techniques.

Abstract

Learning is a combination formed from several elements, including materials, which can influence the achievement of learning objectives. Material elements include: textbooks, so that research on the design of Arabic reading and writing materials for beginners based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is worth doing. This study aims to determine: (1). Design of Arabic reading and writing materials for beginners based on CEFR at MTS Khoiru Ummah, Central Maluku Regency. (2). Supporting and inhibiting factors in designing Arabic reading and writing materials for beginners based on CEFR at MTS Khoiru Ummah, Central Maluku Regency. This research is a development research. Research and development include one of the methods to obtain certain new results, models, methods, strategies, ways, designs, or steps with descriptions and development of results and trials to obtain maximum results. Learning reading and writing skills continues to experience curriculum development from time to time. CEFR theory has contributed to the development of the curriculum design for learning these two Arabic language skills. This CEFR-based curriculum is designed by determining the limits of learning objectives at levels A1 and A2. CEFR has 6 levels, the lowest A1 and the highest C2 in the order of A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. Levels A1 and A2 are designed for beginners in every foreign language learning based on this theory. At the beginner level, students are able to distinguish the sounds of hijaiyah letters, read and write words that are heard and seen, write and read simple phrases and sentences found around them well. Teaching materials are presented in the form of a communicative approach to make students more active and participate in the learning process by using modern learning media either in the form of materials or learning applications that support the achievement of goals. While the evaluation is presented by paying attention to the differences in students' intellectual abilities. Namely starting from easy questions then increasing in difficulty according to level. So that the curriculum for reading and writing language is presented in gradual teaching materials with familiar themes and following the development of the era and the environment of the students. Supporting and inhibiting factors in designing Arabic reading and writing materials based on CEFR at MTs Khoiru Ummah, Central Maluku Regency. a. Supporting Factors, 1) There is a curriculum used by MTs based on the 2013 curriculum for junior high school/MTs level and will implement the Merdeka curriculum at MTs. 2) Teaching staff in accordance with their fields, 3) Textbooks used. The school facilities and environment are very supportive in learning Arabic for beginners because students are required to be in the dormitory. b. Inhibiting Factors, 1) The level of student ability was not identified at the time of input or at the time of registration and entrance exams for MTs..2) The teaching materials in the textbooks used do not focus on reading and writing lessons, making it difficult for students to master Arabic reading and writing skills..

Abstract

Since ChatGPT was released to the public, several students have used it for academic purposes. This study aimed to investigate the feasibility of implementing ChatGPT as teaching material to motivate students to learn. This study used a survey method through a questionnaire to obtain data. The respondents of this research were the students of the Engineering faculty at Makassar State University, consisting of 77 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire using the Likert scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The findings of this study highlighted that most respondents believed that ChatGPT as teaching material impacted students’ motivation to learn Pancasila and citizenship education courses. The implications of this research are to motivate students to learn, and the lecturers should prepare their materials with the appropriate technology, design effective teaching models, and develop curricula and learning activities that can improve comprehensive understanding of the material being taught, the right learning resources, the right technology, and the right teaching instructions. Abstrak: Sejak ChatGPT dirilis ke publik, beberapa mahasiswa telah menggunakannya untuk keperluan akademis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan penerapan ChatGPT sebagai bahan ajar untuk memotivasi siswa belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei melalui kuesioner untuk memperoleh data. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar yang berjumlah 77 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden berpendapat bahwa ChatGPT sebagai bahan ajar berdampak pada motivasi siswa mempelajari mata kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memotivasi mahasiswa dalam belajar, dan dosen hendaknya menyiapkan materi dengan teknologi tepat guna, merancang model pengajaran yang efektif, dan mengembangkan kurikulum dan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman komprehensif terhadap materi yang diajarkan, sumber belajar yang tepat, teknologi yang tepat, dan instruksi pengajaran yang tepat.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini, yakni memberikan pelatihan komunikasi pemasaran terpadu berbasis online kepada para pelaku usaha minyak kayu puith di Desa Sawa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah berupa pelatihan berbasis teori dan praktik komunikasi pemasaran terpadu berbasis online dengan tiga tahap, yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Sasaran pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, yaitu para pelaku usaha minyak kayu putih Desa Sawa, Kecamatan Lilialy, Kabupaten Buru. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah para pelaku usaha mendapatkan pengetahuan melalui pelatihan dengan menekankan materi yang berbasis teori dan praktik mengenai pengenalan internet, Penerapan Teknologi Website & Ekonomi Digital, Website e-Business dan e-Commerce, e-Marketing, dan komunikasi pemasaran. Dari hasil pelatihan tersebut, para pelaku usaha minyak kayu puith Desa Sawa dapat mempraktekkan pemasaran secara online melalui website, facebook, dan instagram

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has swept across the world and affected all sectors. Likewise, this forces educators to innovate in supporting teaching and learning activities in education, especially in remote areas. Therefore, this study attempted to design a learning model based on a needs and situation analysis for schools located in remote regions of Maluku. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate), which in this article only presents two stages, namely define and design. The research sample consisted of 170 subjects from five high schools in Buru Regency, Maluku. The data collected used a situational and needs analysis questionnaire, which was analyzed descriptively. The analysis results are used to design appropriate learning models for schools in remote areas. This study found that a learning model suitable for remote areas is a multi-blended learning model. This model is expected to contribute proportionally to the government and schools implementing learning in remote areas.
