Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to describe analytically the active religious education carried out by Muhammadiyah elements for earthquake survivors in Ahu, West Sulawesi. The research data were obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. Design/methods/approach – All data obtained were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s paradigm combined with Von Eckarberg’s hermeneutic phenomenological analysis model. Findings – The findings and discussion of this research conclude as follows; (1)The enlightenment movement in the field of religious education for survivors in Ahu Village is an integral part of the disaster mitigation program by Muhammadiyah. MDMC volunteers implemented the program for early childhood, kindergarten, and primary education, as well as for groups of survivors from among adults. The religious education program is non-formal, and its implementation uses a contextual learning approach. (2) The religious education program for the survivors is significant, not only because of the process of transferring knowledge but also the process of mental and spiritual enlightenment for the survivors. This process enables the survivors to be more assertive and patient and can respond positively to the reality of the disaster that befell them. (3) Conceptually, the enlightenment movement through active religious education carried out by MDMC can be categorized as a disaster risk reduction effort that is non-physical and is part of the concept of disaster mitigation. Research implications/limitations – Thus, this research is expected to have implications for efforts to develop a mitigation model based on religious education for survivors. Practical implications – The entire series of religious education processes carried out by MDMC for survivors, conceptually or in scientific theory, has meaning or is very significant in shaping survivors’ mental attitudes and religiosity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik. Data primer penelitian, bersumber dari data-data tertulis (dokumen) dan wawancara mendalam. Seluruh data dianalisis melalui tahapan: heuristik, kritik, intrepretasi dan historiografi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan: Pertama, Secara historis Muhammadiyah berperan signifikan dalam proses pencerahan akal budi terhadap masyarakat Muna masa pra kemerdekaan. Hal tersebut setidaknya ditandai dengan giat pencerahan melalui jalur pendidikan, yaitu dengan mendirikan sekolah di Raha dan Mabohi tahun 1932. Lembaga pendidikan tersebut merupakan anti tesa dari gerakan pendidikan berbasis Kristen yang diinisiasi oleh Zending. Kedua, kemampuan elemen Muhammadiyah masa pra kemerdekaan membangun dan memberi layanan pendidikan kepada masyarakat setempat, merupakan bukti dari partisipasi sosial organ ini kepada anak bangsa. Sungguhpun posisi politik Muhammadiyah pada waktu berada dalam ruang sempit dan penuh tekanan dari pemerintah kolonial Belanda, namun faktanya mereka tetap mampu menggerakkan dan memoblisasi sumber daya yang ada sehingga mereka berhasil mendirikan sekolah berbasis Islam sebagai anti tesa dari sekolah yang didirikan oleh Zending. Ketiga, dalam menghadapi colonial Belanda, Muhammadiyah menerapkan gerakan reaksioner antithesis. Pendekatan ini dilakukan untuk membendung gerakan pemurtadan yang dilakukan Zending yang berkolaborasi dengan Belanda. Fakta ini diframing sedemikian rupa sehingga elemen Muhammadiyah Muna mampu memobilisasi masyarakat setempat untuk bereaksi melakukan penentangan atas ketidak adilan yang mereka alami.

Abstract

Salah satu tujuan kegiatan PKM Madrasah di Kecamatan Paseh adalah membantu mitra yang menghadapi permasalah prioritas. Permasalahan yang menjadi prioritas adalah kompetensi guru terutama sumber belajar yang kurang memadai terkait dengan tuntutan era 5.0. Berdasarkan pada permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan program pengabdian kepada masvarakat dengan tema pelatihan media pembelaiaran PAUD dengan pendekatan sains teknologi, dan masyarakat (PKM di Kecamatan Paseh Majalaya).  Kegiatan in bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan tentang kompetensi guru terutama untuk guru dengan memberikan sumber belajar berbasis lingkungan, mampu berkolaborasi, kreatif serta mengajar secara komprehensif. Pelatihan penggunaan sumber pembelajaran PAUD dilaksanakan pada Februari 2023. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode pemberian materi dan evaluasi pelatihan dilakukan dengan mengadakan pretest dan posttest. Dari hasil pelatihan diketahui terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta pelatihan terkait media pembelajaran sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan yaitu dari 64% menjadi 85%. Hal ini berarti terdapat signifikan antara pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan setelah pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principle of learning evaluation from the perspective of the tarbawi hadith, focusing on two hadiths narrated by Tirmidhi (Number 278) and Bukhori (Number 401). This study uses a descriptive-analytical qualitative method with a hermeneutic approach to explore the educational values contained in these hadiths. Through in-depth analysis, the study found that the evaluation principles contained in the hadith, such as direct observation, formative feedback, repetition for improvement, and individualized approaches, are highly relevant to contemporary learning practices. The study results show that the tarbawi values contained in these hadiths can be implemented in modern education, especially in building a personalized learning approach based on spiritual, moral, and academic values. This study also concludes that the hadith evaluation principle focuses on cognitive aspects and students' affective and psychomotor aspects, which are relevant for shaping holistic character and competence. Thus, this research is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education theory and increase the effectiveness of learning evaluation in modern education.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability of the women's recitation group to read the Qur'an. The research uses qualitative approach and experimental method. Practices and tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that: (a) The lack of participants in the ability to read the Qur'an due to the lack of innovation in Qur'anic learning carried out by the teacher, as well as the lack of infrastructure that supports the development of Qur'anic learning in the mosque (b) The effectiveness of Qur'anic learning through the use of methods is very influential on the development of Qur'anic reading skills of participants. As a result of this activity, the Qur'an reading ability of the congregation of the teaching assembly has increased. As a suggestion, similar activities need to be carried out on an ongoing basis. This will help to maintain and sustain the results achieved.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyse the integration of respect and empathy values in the context of learning, focusing on the purpose, implementation, evaluation, and supporting and inhibiting factors. The main objective of this research is to explore the understanding of how the values of respect and empathy can be effectively integrated in the learning process to shape students' character. The implementation of respect and empathy values is done through embedding character education in the curriculum, teacher training that focuses on character teaching strategies, and the application of teacher behaviour models as positive examples. Evaluation is done by including character assessment in student assessments, both formative and summative. Supporting factors in this integration involve student participation in decision-making, an effective guidance and counselling programme and parental involvement in supporting character learning at home. However, a number of inhibiting factors were also identified, including high curriculum demands, inequality and discrimination, and lack of teacher and student awareness of the importance of character values.  Suggestions and recommendations resulting from this research involve the need for changes to the curriculum by adding specific modules or subjects that emphasise character values. Continuous teacher training needs to be strengthened, and parent and student engagement approaches should be improved. Evaluation should be more balanced, including character aspects in student assessment. The implementation of inclusive and democratic strategies needs to be improved to ensure that every student feels the positive impact of integrating the values of respect and empathy. Thus, it is hoped that the results of this study can provide practical guidance for schools in their efforts to shape students' character through the integration of respect and empathy values in learning.

Abstract

Meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru Madrasah di era industri 4.0 sangat penting, sehingga diperlukan adanya suatu Pemberdayaan. Pemberdayaan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi professional guru madrasah di kecamatan  Cimaung Provinsi Jawa Barat. Pendekatan dalam melaksanakan pemberdayaan menggunakan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi dan aset yang dimiliki masyarakat dampingan. Focus pemberdayaan ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait dengan peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru-guru madrasah yang ada di kecamatan Cimaung. Hasil pemberdayaan menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi professional guru madrasah mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan melalui beberapa kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan; literasi untuk anak usia dini, internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam kurikulum dan pembelajaran, serta kompetensi professional guru di era industry 4.0. Pemberdayaan untuk guru-guru madrasah perlu senantiasa dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan (continuous quality improvement)  sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru-guru dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the P5 in Merdeka Curriculum can strengthen students' mutual respect character. Using a qualitative approach based on documentation studies, this research examines curriculum documents, learning modules, project implementation reports, student reflections, and school evaluations to understand the implementation of P5 in depth. The results show that P5, through themes such as Local Wisdom and Unity in Diversity, provides opportunities for students to learn to recognize and appreciate diversity. Heterogeneous group-based projects are an effective medium in training students to collaborate, understand differences, and resolve conflicts constructively. Students' reflections showed positive changes in the way they viewed cultural and social differences. However, this study also found that the successful implementation of P5 is influenced by teacher readiness, resource availability, and educational policy support. The conclusion of this study is that P5 has great potential in shaping students' respectful character if implemented with adequate support. It is recommended that schools improve teacher training, provide supporting facilities, and allocate sufficient time for project implementation. These interventions are important to ensure that the positive impact of P5 can be felt equally by all students.

Abstract

Pendidikan bertujuan membentuk manusia seutuhnya dengan mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Dalam pendidikan Islam, konsep Ulul Albab mencerminkan individu yang seimbang dalam spiritualitas, intelektualitas, dan amal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model konseptual integrasi kurikulum untuk membentuk karakter Ulul Albab di SD Ar Rafi’ Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa model konseptual integrasi kurikulum mencakup empat komponen kurikulum yakni tujuan, isi, implementasi, dan evaluasi untuk menciptakan pendidikan holistik, yang diterapkan dalam tiga tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Model ini menawarkan pendekatan sistematis dalam mengintegrasikan nilai agama dengan akademik, menciptakan pendidikan berbasis akidah yang holistik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan perspektif baru dalam pengembangan kurikulum Islam untuk membentuk siswa berkarakter unggul dan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pendidikan berbasis karakter.

Abstract

This article aimed to explore the theoretical basis of etnopolitical influences on the transformation of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum, focusing on integrating multicultural awareness and deep learning approaches. The study used a comprehensive literature review and conceptual analysis to examine how ethnic identities and sociopolitical dynamics shaped curriculum reform in pluralistic societies. The findings showed that incorporating ethnopolitical perspectives into curriculum development fostered inclusive pedagogy that respected cultural diversity while promoting critical, reflective, and meaningful learning experiences. The framework highlighted the need for curricula that not only transmitted religious knowledge but also built social cohesion and character among diverse student populations. The study identified challenges in balancing local cultural identities with national unity and recommended flexible, context-sensitive educational policies and teacher training. Overall, this article contributed to understanding how ethnopolitics informed curriculum innovation, ensuring Islamic education remained relevant and responsive to societal complexities.
