Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis ICT yang disediakan oleh sekolah di Kabupaten dan Kota Mojokerto selama kegiatan proses belajar mengajar berlangsung dianggap kurang komunikatif sebagai media pembelajaran. Selama ini media ICT yang digunakan guru kurang bervariatif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi untuk masalah yang dialami oleh guru di daerah Mojokerto. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru MGMP Kabupaten dan Kota Mojokerto melalui pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran kimia berbasis ICT. Pelatihan ini dilakukan secara luring dan daring. Pelatihan ini terbagi menjadi beberapa tahapan yaitu koordinasi, design, pembuatan Instrumen, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, management, dan publikasi. Pelatihan telah sukses dilaksanakan dan diperoleh produk dari pelatihan berupa LKPD interaktif yang telah terdaftar Hak atas Kekayaan Intelektual. Peserta merasa program ini bermanfaat dan terbantu karena dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Program serupa sangat dinantikan peserta dikemudian hari agar dapat meningkatkan kompetensi peserta.

Abstract

Being abstract and diverse, molecular shape material necessitates two or three-dimensional visualization media. This research seeks to develop interactive AR learning multimedia to enhance molecular geometry comprehension and students' visual intelligence. This study focuses on the development phase by employing the 4D Research and Development model, encompassing defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Instruments include pre-tests, post-tests, student questionnaires, and validation sheets. Validation yields content and construct validity scores of 3 and 4, indicating valid or very valid criteria. Practicality exceeds 90%, deemed very practical. Effectiveness testing reveals that over 80% of students who achieved n-gain scores above 0.3 were classified as medium to high. These findings establish AR-based learning media as feasible for grasping molecular geometry and fostering visual intelligence. The implications of this research highlight AR's capacity to reinforce conceptual understanding and stimulate visual intelligence. Therefore, strategically optimizing technology-driven learning media like AR is crucial to align with the evolving digital landscape in education.

Abstract

Molecular shapes are abstract and require strong spatial visualization. This study aims to develop a MolView-based POGIL e-module that integrates active learning with 2D-to-3D interactive visualization, meeting the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving four indicators of visual intelligence: imagining, conceptualizing, pattern-seeking, and problem-solving in molecular shapes. This study employs the RnD method with the 4D approach (define, design, develop, and dissect) but is limited to the development stage. The study subjects were 36 high school students. Data collection techniques include sheets, visual intelligence tests, cognitive ability tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use the N-Gain Score test and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results of the validity of content, construction, and visual intelligence with a median of 3 with a valid category. As many as 88.8% of students achieved high improvement, and the Wilcoxon Test showed sig. 0.000 <0.05, so that the e-module is included in the effective category. The percentage of student response questionnaires was 96.11%, while the percentage of relevant activities during learning reached 94.65%, which fell within the practice category. Thus, the findings obtained were interactive e-modules based on POGIL that met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students' visual intelligence on molecular form material.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan kolaborasi dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik terhadap materi sistem koloid menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran kimia abad ke-21. Kolaborasi merupakan salah satu keterampilan 4C (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication) yang menjadi tuntutan dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21, namun keterampilan ini tergolong jarang dilatihkan secara optimal oleh guru, dan pencapaiannya di sekolah masih belum maksimal. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa e-LAPD (Lembar Aktivitas Peserta Didik Elektronik) interaktif berparadigma SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) guna mendukung pengembangan keterampilan kolaborasi, serta membantu peserta didik memahami materi sistem koloid melalui paradigma SETS. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 35 peserta didik kelas XI MIA 3 di SMA Negeri 1 Pacet Kabupaten Mojokerto. Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi perangkat pembelajaran, observasi, angket keterampilan kolaborasi, serta pretest dan posttest kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Data hasil angket keterampilan kolaborasi dan tes kognitif untuk menganalisis efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran ini terbukti sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi, dengan peningkatan skor rata-rata pada pertemuan pertama, kedua, dan ketiga masing-masing mencapai 72,3%, 79,5%, dan 82,7%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-LAPD interaktif berparadigma SETS memiliki potensi kuat untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran kimia berbasis kolaborasi, serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap penguatan keterampilan abad ke-21 dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study aims to design an interactive Electronic Student Worksheet (e-LKPD) based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model, drawing reference from the Wizer.me website, to enhance students' autonomy in learning hydrocarbon materials. Hydrocarbon concepts are abstract and complex, requiring new approaches to learning. Computer-based learning media feature interactive components that support student participation and independence. This research employed the Research and Development (RD) approach utilizing the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The developed e-LKPD was validated with experts at an 88% validity level (very valid). Student response questionnaires yielded a practicality level of 95.83% (very practical), and the student learning independence percentage was 79.42% (practical/effective). The measure of effectiveness, as determined by the n-gain test, was 63.69% (fairly effective). These findings demonstrate that the interactive e-LKPD is a valid, feasible, and effective learning tool to support students' learning independence in hydrocarbon materials. This study contributes to the use of digital learning media in chemistry education, facilitating student-centered learning and active participation.

Abstract

Abstract: In supporting the implementation of hybrid learning during the pandemic Covid-19, it is necessary to use a learning media that is expected to help realize effective and can make it easier for students to understand learning material. One of the learning media that can be used is Microsoft Teams. Under these conditions, the intensity of face-to-face meetings between students and teachers has not fully returned. Therefore, students must be able to learn independently. This study aims to improve student learning independence by using Microsoft Teams on the material of the periodic system of elements. The research design used is a one group pretest posttest design. The results showed 1) the implementation of learning using Microsoft Teams was very well done, 2) teachers have carried out effective learning management 3) the percentage of relevant student activities is 96%. 4) students' learning independence has increased, 5) the majority of students experience increased learning independence . 5) students gave a positive response on the use of Microsoft Teams. It can be concluded that the use of Microsoft Teams can improve student learning independence. Keywords: Microsoft Teams; learning independence; hybrid learning; Covid-i9 Abstrak: Dalam mendukung kelancaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran hybrid di masa pandemic Covid-19 diperlukan adanya penggunaan suatu media pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat membantu mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektiv dan dapat mempermudah peserta didik dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah platform Microsoft Teams. Dalam kondisi seperti ini, intensitas tatap muka antara siswa dengan guru masih belum kembali sepenuhnya. Oleh karena itu, siswa perlu bisa belajar dengan mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa dengan menggunakan Microsoft Teams pada materi system periodic unsur. Desain peneleitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest posttest design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan Microsoft Teams terlaksana dengan sangat baik, 2) guru telah melakukan pengelolaan pembelajaran yang efektif, 3) persentase aktivitas siswa yang relevan sebesar 96 %. 4) kemandirian belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, 5) hasil pengamatan kemandirian terhadap masing-masing siswa menunjukkan mayoritas siswa telah mengalami peningkatan kemandirian belajar, 5) siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan Microsoft Teams. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Microsoft Teams dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Abstract

This study aims to produce valid Problem Based Learning (PBL) oriented E-LAPD to improve students' chemical literacy skills on acid-base material. This research method used development research with the 4D model which includes define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, it is limited to the development stage. The subjects of this study were phase F students of class XI SMAN 1 Krembung Sidoarjo as many as 36 students. The research instrument used in collecting data was a validation sheet. Data analysis techniques in this study used quantitative analysis techniques through the provision of validation questionnaires to validators. The results of this study indicated that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) oriented E-LAPD to improve students' chemical literacy skills on acid-base material was declared feasible to use because it got a mode score of 4 with valid criteria based on content and construct validity which includes aspects of language, presentation, and graphics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of interactive e-modules based on blended learning to increase independence and learning outcomes on acid-base materials. This research is development research using the Borg & Gall model which consists of ; 1) Research and Information collection, 2) Product planning, 3) Product development, 4) Product validation, 5) Product revision, 6) Product trial. The subjects of this study were chemistry lecturers and chemistry teachers as well as students of SMA Negeri 1 Krembung Sidoarjo who took chemistry specialization. The instruments used were review and validation sheets, learning independence questionnaires, response questionnaires, and learning outcomes test sheets. Data analysis using the N-gain to determine the increase in student independence and learning outcomes. The validation results are processed using the mode of each statement, the results of content validity get mode 5 with very valid criteria, and construct validity get mode 4 with valid criteria. The results of this study indicate that learning chemistry using interactive e-modules based on blended learning can increase learning independence with an n-gain value at 3 meetings of 0.49 in the medium category and learning outcomes with an average n-gain value of 0.69 in the moderate category. Therefore, the interactive e-module based on blended learning developed is feasible and effective to be used to improve students' independence and learning outcomes on acid-base materials.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of interactive electronic worksheets combining three chemical representation levels on students’ critical thinking skills in learning voltaic cells. This research utilises an R&D (Research and Development) method featuring a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants in this study were 12th-grade high school students. The tools used in this research included validation sheets, pretest-posttest assessments, and feedback questionnaires. Validation data indicated that the e-worksheets were suitable for testing, achieving a median score of ≥ 4. The pretest-posttest results were analysed using the N-Gain score, which fell within the range of 0.7 to 0.9. Additionally, a paired t-test was conducted using the Minitab software, yielding a p-value of less than 0.05, signifying a meaningful enhancement in students’ critical thinking skills. The feedback from students regarding this media resulted in a practicality rating of ≥ 61%. In summary, interactive e-worksheets based on the three levels of chemical representation have been demonstrated to improve students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Students’ limited spatial visualization skills pose challenges in understanding abstract chemical concepts such as molecular geometry. This study aimed to develop an interactive flipbook assisted by 3D animations to enhance students’ spatial visualization and comprehension of molecular geometry. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and involved 32 purposively selected eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 7 Surabaya. Data were collected using validation sheets, student response questionnaires, pre-test and post-tests, and observation sheets, with instrument reliability confirmed by expert judgment and Cronbach’s Alpha. Validation results showed that the flipbook was highly valid in both content and construct. Students’ responses indicated a high level of practicality (92.9%). Effectiveness testing revealed significant improvement in learning outcomes, with an average N-Gain of 0.75 for competence and 0.80 for spatial ability, both categorized as high. These results suggest that the 3D-assisted flipbook enables students to visualize and manipulate molecular structures, thereby reducing reliance on imagination and strengthening conceptual understanding. Teachers are recommended to adopt 3D-assisted flipbooks as a low-cost and effective instructional medium to foster students’ spatial reasoning and improve chemistry learning outcomes.
