Abstract

Interactive e-modules are one of the innovations of teaching materials in Society 5.0 considered innovative for learning. As innovative teaching materials interactive e-modules are recommended, it is hoped that 21st-century teachers will be able to develop their interactive e-modules that suit students’ character and the learning methods used. However, based on a survey that has been conducted, 79% of teachers still use PowerPoint (.ppt) as teaching materials. This activity was held to provide training on making interactive e-modules to the chemistry MGMP team in Gresik based on a scientific approach. This interactive e-module is equipped with teaching materials such as pictures, videos/animations, quizzes, and interactive features to attract students’ attention. The methods used in this service include coordination, interactive e-module design, instrument creation, training implementation, evaluation, management, and publication. Analysis of data obtained from training activities proves that teachers are interested in creating and using interactive e-modules for learning. The interactive e-module is considered an attractive design for learning following the era of Society 5.0.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium virtual pada materi kimia unsur sub materi periode ketiga. Kelayakan media pembelajaran diperoleh dari 2 kriteria yakni validitas media berdasarkan penilaian validator dan keefektifan media berdasarkan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian dan pengembangan 4P (pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebarluasan), namun hanya dibatasi pada tahap uji coba produk. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar telaah media, lembar validasi media, serta soal pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan memperoleh persentase kevalidan isi sebesar 85,12% dan pada validitas konstruk sebesar 86,73% yang dikategorikan sangat valid. Persentase keefektifan media berdasarkan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik diperoleh skor N-gain dengan rentang 75-100% yang dikategorikan tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka media pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium virtual layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi kimia unsur sub materi periode ketiga.Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran, laboratorium virtual, kimia unsur periode ketiga

Abstract

Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa betapa masih langkanya guru yang mau, mampu, dan biasa melakukan kegiatan penyusunan KTI khususnya di SMAN 1 Gresikda dan SMAN 1 Manyar sebagai mitra. Program yang dapat dijalankan bersama antara sekolah mitra dan tim pelaksana PPMIbM adalah perlunya peningkatan dan pengembangan profesi guru (PKB) pada unsur Publikasi Ilmiah khususnya dalam penyusunan KTI baik berupa hasil penelitian, hasil tinjauan ilmiah maupun artikel ilmiah, kecuali tulisan ilmiah populer. Tahap pendampingan dalam pelaksanaan PKM-IbM meliputi 1) Tahap Persiapan meliputi persiapan pedoman / modul serta contoh-contoh KTI yang baik, 2) Tahap Penulisan yaitu memandu para peserta pelatihan dalam mempelajari dan memahami KTI, 3) Tahap Penyuntingan meliputi tahap perbaikan KTI baik dari segi tata bahasa, substansi maupun materi, 4) Tahap Publikasi yaitu KTI yang telah direvisi diikut sertakan dalam pertemuan ilmiah dan di publikasikan pada jurnal, 5) Tahap Monitoring dan Evaluasi yaitu tahap pemaparan hasi KTI yang telah direvisi pada teman sebaya dan pemberian angket respon terhadap kegiatan pendampingan ini. Hasil dari penmdampingan penyusunan KTI diikuti oleh 34 guru SMAN 1 Gresik dan 20 guru SMAN 1 Manyar. KTI yang telah dipublikasikan antara lain: 1) satu KTI sudah dimuat pada MEDIA, No.05/Thn.XLVI/Juli 2016, satu KTI dikirim ke JPFA (Jurnal Penelitian Fisika dan Aplikasinya), dua KTI diikutkan pada Lomba Inovasi Pembelajaran (INOBEL) Guru Pendidikan Menengah Tingkat Nasional Tahun 2016 di Bandung, satu KTI masuk finalis dan yang satu KTI gagal, dan satu KTI diikutkan pada Simposium Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan Tahun 2016 di Jakarta. Adapun respon positif yang ditunjukkan peserta berdasarkan hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa 75% guru SMAN 1 Gresik setuju dan 75% guru SMAN 1 Manyar sangat setuju dengan diadakannya pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan KTI ini.

Abstract

This social responsibility (PKM) activity aims to carry out technical training in the preparation of scientific paper and reference management using the Zotero application in writing scientific paper. This activity is applied to the association of Chemistry teachers in Blitar District. The training and mentoring activities consisted of theory and practice with a composition of 30% for theory and 70% for practice, while the m echanism of the workshop activities included preparation, the seminar, and the training phases. Based on the activities carried out, the results show that the implementation of this social responsibilituy activity went well and smoothly, judging from the fact that most participants were quite able to apply Zotero in making excerpts of scientific paper and enthusiastic participants showed high enthusiasm.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued policies related to the implementation of education in the new normal era learning systems through online learning by utilizing various technologies. Without face-to-face learning, high school students have difficulty in understanding molecular shape geometry material so that it affects students' ability to develop spatial-visual precepts. As a solution to these problems, there needs to be the development of virtual reality learning videos that match the geometry of molecular shapes in real-time. This study aims to find out the validity of The Virtual Reality-Based Molecular Shape Geometry Tutorial Video As a Solution To Improve the Spatial Visual Ability of High School Students in the New Normal Era. Validity is tested through content quality and purpose, instructional quality, and technical quality. The development was carried out using the R&D method with The Thiagarajan 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate which is limited to the Develop Stage The results were obtained from Virtual Reality Chemistry (VR CHEM) media are very valid on each criterion assessed. The details of the results obtained are content validation of 91.9% and construction validation of 89%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia to improve high school students' visuospatial intelligence in the oxidation state's redox reaction material through a three-tier test strategy. This research used the ADDIE development method, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research subjects were students at one of the high schools in Gresik Regency. The research instruments used were visuospatial intelligence test sheets, interactive multimedia validation questionnaires, and practicality questionnaires. Posttest results were analyzed based on normality, homogeneity, and N-gain. The results of this study indicated that the developed interactive multimedia could improve students' visuospatial intelligence. It was based on the results of validation and limited trials obtained from the aspect of validity assessment with a score of 84% and got the title very valid. Then practicality got the title very practical with a score of 91%. Effectiveness could be seen from students' pretest and posttest scores, with the normality test for the pretest score getting a score of 0.191 while the posttest got a score of 0.220 so that it is normally distributed. The T test got a score of <0.05, which Ha accepted. The N-Gain test got a score of 0.89, with a high rating.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practicality, feasibility, and effectiveness of learning media as an augmented reality-based practicum guide application for students' conceptual understanding of voltaic cells. The application development used the Thiagarajan development method with the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), but it was sufficiently developed to be 3-D. A limited trial with seventeen Al-Falah Senior High School students was conducted in August 2021 on students who had been given voltaic cell material. Pretest-posttest sheets, validation-review sheets, and student response questionnaires were used as research instruments. The data analysis technique used quantitative description. Pretest and posttest results were analyzed based on normality, paired sample test, and N-gain. The results of this study indicated that the developed application could improve students' understanding of concepts. The application validation results obtained a content validation score of 94%, a construct validation score of 86%, a presentation-related validation score of 96%, and a language-related validation score of 90%, indicating that it was very valid. The application was practical because the average percentage of responses was 92%. Based on the t-test with a significance value of 5% that yielded the Sig value, the application was reported to be very effective. 0.00 0.05 (2-tailed) and an N-gain analysis score of 0.83 > 0.7.

Abstract

Kurangnya ketersediaan dan rendahnya kemampuan guru untuk menyusun Perangkat Pembelajaran Berorientasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan Berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai sumber belajar peserta didik di masa pemulihan pembelajaran pasca pandemi yang menyebabkan kemauan peserta didik untuk belajar mengalami penurunan, peserta didik tidak bersungguh-sungguh dalam belajar karena terbiasa menggunakan internet sebagai sumber belajar. Program yang dapat dijalankan dengan guru yang tergabung dalam Guru SMA Pondok Pesantren Bayt Al Hikmah sebagai mitra dan tim pelaksana PPM–PKM adalah perlunya peningkatan kompetensi guru terhadap pemahaman, keterampilan, dan kecakapan dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini meliputi 1) Persiapan, 2) Penulisan, 3) Pelaksanaan Pelatihan, 4) Tahap Monitoring dan Evaluasi, dan 5) Publikasi. Kegiatan ini memiliki target yang ingin dicapai yaitu meningkatnya kemampuan guru dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang Berorientasi Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan Berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Indikator keberhasilan kegiatan ini meliputi 1) Penugasan Pembuatan Perangkat, 2) Hasil Angket Respon, 3) Tingkat Kehadiran Peserta, dan 4) Kelengkapan Penugasan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of discovery learning, the responses of students which are supported by the activities carried out by students, as well as the learning outcomes of students through the implementation of discovery learning models on the mole concept material. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out for two cycles. The research subjects were 32 students in class X-3 at SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya for the 2022/2023 academic year. The data generated in this study are summarized as follows: (1) The implementation of the learning syntax of the discovery learning model in cycle 1 and cycle 2 obtained a percentage of implementation of 90.97% and 95.37% with excellent criteria. (2) The application of the discovery learning model received a positive response with a percentage of 81.25-100 so it was declared excellent and supported by a greater percentage of relevant student activities than irrelevant activities. Student activity observed in each phase of learning activities using the discovery learning model shows that the percentage of relevant activities from cycle 1 and cycle 2 gets percentages of 94.41% and 96.71%. While activities that are not relevant are 5.59% in cycle 1 and 3.29% in cycle 2. (3) In cycle 1, the learning outcomes of students who scored ≥ 75 were declared complete with a classical completeness of 78.12% and a class average score of 85.34. In cycle 2, the learning outcomes of students who scored ≥ 75 were declared complete with classical completeness of 100% and the class average score was 96.90. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that learning outcomes and student activity improved through the implementation of the discovery learning model.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk 1) Guru dapat mengurutkan langkah–langkah pembelajaran PBL-STEM; 2) Guru dapat merancang E-LKPD berbasis pembelajaran PBL-STEM menggunakan aplikasi berbasis digital, 3) Guru dapat menghasilkan E-LKPD berbasis pembelajaran PBL-STEM. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebanyak tujuh tahapan pengabdian yang dilakukan: (1) Koordinasi, (2) Desain, 3) Pembuatan Instrumen, (4) Pelaksanaan, (5) Evaluasi, (6) Manajemen, dan (7) Publikasi. Tempat pengabdian kali ini adalah SMAN 1 Gresik, sedangkan peserta dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 10 guru. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar respon peserta. Hasil lembar respon peserta menyatakan hasil sebesar 94,50 dengan kategori sangat baik.
