Abstract

This study aims to identify the social competence of teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Qur'an Kariman and its impact on the learning environment. The study used a qualitative approach with observation and interview methods, which allowed researchers to capture teachers' social interactions directly with students, colleagues, and parents. The observation results show that teachers in this madrasah have good communication skills and high empathy, which creates a conducive classroom atmosphere and supports students' character development. In addition, cooperation among teachers is harmonious, which strengthens the positive working climate in the madrasah environment. Teachers also use a mediation approach in handling conflicts between students, and actively communicate with parents to support student development. Overall, teachers' social competence in this madrasah plays an important role in supporting a holistic learning process and students' overall development

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam matematika sangat penting bagi siswa, namun masih banyak siswa yang megalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan matematika dengan penalaran yang logis. Maka, diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran seperti Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa tersebut dengan memperhatikan disposisi matematis siswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran, disposisi matematis, serta interaksi keduanya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain factorial eksperimental dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru dengan populasi kelas VIII dan sampel kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Dari hasil posttest yang telah dihitung menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning dan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Selain itu, ditinjau dari disposisi matematis juga terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Tetapi, tidak temukan interaksi antara model Project Based Learning dengan disposisi matematis terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Dengan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Project Based Learning dan/atau disposisi matematis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis di SMP Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study investigates the quality of evaluation instruments developed to measure junior high school students’ mathematical conceptual understanding, with a focus on the topic of numbers. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method involving thirty-two seventh-grade students from a junior high school in Pekanbaru. Data were obtained through essay-based assessments consisting of three items aligned with specific indicators of mathematical conceptual understanding and cognitive domain levels. The analysis examined validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discrimination power. The findings show that all three items achieved high validity, although the overall reliability coefficient was categorized as low. The difficulty level varied, with one item classified as easy and two as moderate. Discrimination power also differed among items, with one item having poor discrimination, one adequate, and one good. These results highlight the importance of conducting systematic quality testing to ensure that evaluation instruments are valid, reliable, and appropriately calibrated for assessing students’ conceptual understanding in mathematics.

Abstract

Through a literature review, this study attempts to evaluate the ability of the Merdeka Curriculum to improve the standard of Indonesian education. Through the use of project-based learning, varied learning, and strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile, the Merdeka Curriculum provides a flexible, contextual, and learner-centered educational approach. The results of the study show how well this program can develop students' character and improve their 21st century skills. However, there are still a number of obstacles in its implementation, including public opinion, infrastructure inequality, and teacher readiness. Therefore, to achieve successful implementation of the curriculum in a fair and sustainable manner, a plan is needed that strengthens teacher competence, comprehensive socialization, and cross-sectoral assistance.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan sangat ditentukan oleh profesionalisme guru dalam memenuhi kebutuhan Pembelajaran di Abad ke-21, terutama dalam menguasai keterampilan 4C yaitu Kritis, Komunikasi, Kolaborasi, dan Kreativitas. Sebagai pemimpin dalam instruksi, kepala sekolah memegang peranan kunci dalam mendukung peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui program pembinaan yang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memetakan dan merumuskan model supervisi klinis kepala sekolah yang paling efisien untuk pengembangan keterampilan guru di era digital. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengevaluasi 15 artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025. Analisis literatur dilakukan menggunakan metode PICO (Populasi, Intervensi, Perbandingan, Hasil) untuk memastikan kualitas serta relevansi temuan yang didapat. Hasil dari sintesis menunjukkan bahwa model yang paling efektif adalah Supervisi Klinis Diferensiasi, yang mengkombinasikan siklus perbaikan terfokus yang berbasis data dari Supervisi Klinis dengan pendekatan yang disesuaikan berdasarkan pengalaman guru. Penerapan dari model ini mencakup Supervisi Klinis intensif untuk guru pemula, Peer Coaching untuk guru berpengalaman, dan Self-Directed Supervision untuk guru yang ahli. Model ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang memicu Pemikiran Tingkat Tinggi (HOTS), mengintegrasikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), serta memperkuat kepercayaan diri dan praktik reflektif para guru. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah kerangka teoritis yang menempatkan kepala sekolah sebagai pelatih dan mitra reflektif, memastikan bahwa pembinaan profesional bersifat sesuai, berkelanjutan, serta mampu beradaptasi dengan tantangan pendidikan yang modern.

Abstract

Abstract  The primary challenge faced by teachers at UPT SD Negeri 008 Kualu is the limited time and competence in formulating evaluation instruments based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Teachers often struggle to design assessment items that effectively stimulate students' analytical, evaluative, and creative skills, particularly in mathematics. This community service program aims to enhance teachers' skills in developing HOTS-based mathematics evaluation instruments through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The training was conducted by a community service team from the Mathematics Education Study Program at the State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau, employing collaborative and interactive methods. Participants received practical guidance on utilizing AI applications, such as ChatGPT and Gemini, to design assessment items. The evaluation results indicated a significant increase in participants' competence. Prior to the training, 70.59% of participants reported an inability to compose high-level cognitive questions. However, after the training, over 80% were capable of independently constructing HOTS questions with AI assistance, and 99% demonstrated a clear understanding of AI integration techniques for evaluation instruments. This program demonstrates that AI can serve as a strategic partner in improving teacher efficiency and the quality of educational evaluation in elementary schools in accordance with SDG 4 goals. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan metode tutor sebaya dengan mahasiswa yang tidak belajar dengan menggunakan metode tutor sebaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perkuliahan fungsi kompleks dikarenakan penting bagi dosen menggunakan model maupun metode dalam pembelajaran salah satunya metode tutor sebaya. Pada penelitian ini, yang menjadi populasi adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 5 pada Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau semester Ganjil 2023-2024. Sedangkan yang menjadi sampel ialah kelas PMT 5A dan PMT 5B. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan teknik observasi dan instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal ujian akhir semester dan lembar observasi kegiatan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni Uji-t untuk melihat ada atau tidak perbedaan antara hasil belajar menggunakan pembelajaran tutor sebaya dengan yang tidak menggunakan tutor sebaya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah fungsi kompleks antara mahasiswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan metode tutor sebaya dengan mahasiswa yang belajar dengan tidak menggunakan metode tutor sebaya.

Abstract

Students' mathematical communication skills are still considered not optimal. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in mathematical communication skills between students taught using the Brain Based Learning (BBL) model and those taught through conventional learning, the differences in mathematical communication skills based on the level of mathematical disposition, as well as the interaction effect between the learning model and mathematical disposition on the mathematical communication skills of senior high school students. This study employed a factorial experimental design with the population consisting of all tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Reteh. The sample was selected using the cluster random sampling technique, resulting in class X.6 as the experimental class and class X.5 as the control class. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, observations, and documentation using instruments in the form of a mathematical communication skills test, a mathematical disposition questionnaire, learning observation sheets, as well as photographs and other supporting documents. Data were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA test. The results showed that there was a difference in mathematical communication skills between students taught using the BBL model and those taught through conventional learning. In addition, there were differences in mathematical communication skills based on the level of mathematical disposition. However, there was no interaction effect between the learning model and mathematical disposition on students' mathematical communication skills. Therefore, the BBL model affects the mathematical communication skills of senior high school students when viewed in terms of their mathematical disposition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in mathematical connection ability between students taught using the Discovery Learning model and those taught using direct instruction. This research is a quantitative study employing an experimental method with a factorial experiment design. The study was conducted at MTs Al Huda Pekanbaru during the 2025/2026 academic year. The research population consisted of all seventh-grade students at MTs Al Huda Pekanbaru. The sample was selected using a cluster random sampling technique, with class VII.A designated as the experimental class and class VII.C as the control class. Data collection techniques included tests, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The research instruments comprised mathematical connection ability test questions (Pretest and Posttest) and an Adversity Quotient questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was a two-way ANOVA. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a difference in mathematical connection ability between students who learned using the Discovery Learning model and those who learned using direct instruction (Fcalculated = 12.95 > Ftable = 4.05); there is a difference in mathematical connection ability among students with high, moderate, and low Adversity Quotient (Fcalculated = 18.31 > Ftable = 3.20); and there is no interaction between the Discovery Learning model and Adversity Quotient on students' mathematical connection ability (Fcalculated = -4.35 < Ftable = 3.20).
