Abstract

Information technology is currently useful for automating various processes and activities that were previously done manually. Now human activities are turning into computerized systems. Information that is presented quickly and precisely greatly influences the level of work efficiency and effectiveness in various fields. This research uses the waterfall method, which is a software development process model which is a sequential and linear approach. This approach relies on sequential and progressive stages, where each stage must be completed before entering the next stage. Based on the results of the research and discussions that have been carried out, it can be stated that with this web-based guest book application, it is hoped that the input, data collection and recording processes can be more effective and efficient and the security of data storage will be more guaranteed

Abstract

The manual leave application process at PT. Citra Bonanza Expresspresents several challenges, including inefficiencies and potential errors in leave recording. This study aims to develop and implement a web-based leave application system to address these issues. Utilizing the waterfall methodology, the system development involved requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results demonstrate significant improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and transparency. The automated system streamlines the leave application and approval processes, eliminates errors, and provides real-time access to leave information. Comprehensive reporting capabilities enable data-driven decision-making for management. The successful deployment of the system underscores its potential applicability in other organizations with similar challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an educational game that serves as an interactive learning medium to introduce the concept of flat shapes to fourth-grade students at SDN Temugiring. In elementary school mathematics, especially on the topic of flat shapes, many students still face difficulties in understanding the forms and characteristics of each shape. Therefore, the use of interactive learning media in the form of educational games is expected to provide a more enjoyable and engaging learning experience for students. The development of this game follows the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of several stages: concept formulation, design, material collection, production, testing, and distribution. The game application was developed using Construct 2, as this platform offers an easy-to-understand interface and supports the development of 2D-based games. The results of the study show that this educational game successfully enhances students’ understanding of flat shape material and positively impacts their learning motivation in the classroom.
