Abstract

The objectives of the research was to find out significant influence of using Read, Ask and Paraphrase(RAP) strategy to students’ reading comprehension at the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri Labuang. The method of the research was quantitative method and the type of the research was pre-experimental research with one group pretest-treatment-posttest design. The total number of population was 6 classes and the total number of sample was 1 class consist of 26 students. The instrument of the research was as reading. The result of the data analysis show that the mean score in pretest (53,84) with standar deviation (14,01) is lower than the mean score in posttest (65) with standar deviation (12,08) and from the hypothesis, it is found that t-test value (2,79) is greater than t-table value (1.708). It is that null hypothesis (HO) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. It is included that using Read, Ask and Paraphrase (RAP) strategy in Reading Comprehension at the Eleventh Grade Students of SMK Negeri Labuang is effective to increase reading comprehension.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi pemesanan kopi berbasis web untuk Kedai Kopi GEN. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk mempermudah pelanggan dalam melakukan pemesanan sekaligus meningkatkan efisiensi operasional kedai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan pengguna, perancangan sistem, pengembangan aplikasi, serta pengujian fungsionalitas. Fitur utama aplikasi meliputi pemesanan produk secara online, pengelolaan menu, pemberitahuan pesanan, dan sistem pembayaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berbasis web ini mampu memberikan kemudahan bagi pelanggan untuk memesan kopi dengan cepat, praktis, dan efisien. Pengujian aplikasi membuktikan bahwa sistem dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas layanan di Kedai Kopi GEN. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di Kopi GEN Pabuaran, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan sistem berbasis web sangat penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan dalam memesan makanan dan minuman secara online. Dengan memanfaatkan framework Laravel, sistem ini memungkinkan pelanggan untuk memesan produk kapan saja dan dari mana saja. Selain itu, aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan fitur pencatatan transaksi penjualan, di mana setiap transaksi yang dilakukan akan secara otomatis menghasilkan bukti penjualan. Hal ini memudahkan kedai dalam mengelola data penjualan dengan lebih terorganisir. Secara keseluruhan, aplikasi pemesanan berbasis web ini tidak hanya membantu pelanggan dalam proses pemesanan, tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi operasional melalui digitalisasi sistem transaksi. Pengembangan lanjutan disarankan untuk menambahkan fitur tambahan, seperti analisis data penjualan dan integrasi dengan layanan pengiriman, guna meningkatkan daya saing dan pelayanan kedai di masa depan

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan pabrik sepatu terdapat penurunan, hal itu dipengaruhi belum optimal dalam bekerja. Sedangkan budaya kerja merupakan optimalisasi perusahaan membentuk dorongan motivasi sebagai bentuk pola pikir tanggung jawab karyawan untuk meningkatkan kinerja. Bertujuan untuk, menguji pengaruh langsung pembelajaran organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja, menguji pengaruh langsung produktivitas terhadap disiplin kerja, menguji pengaruh langsung pembelajaran organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, menguji pengaruh langsung produktivitas kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, menguji pengaruh langsung disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan target dan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan pabrik sepatu dengan populasi 299 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. Produktivitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. Pembelajaran organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Produktivitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of the need for developing interactive learning media based on word wall educational games on fraction material in class IV at SDN 173 Kertoraharjo, Kec. East Tomoni, Kab. East Luwu. This research uses Research & Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. This research was carried out at SDN 173 Kertoraharjo with the subjects in this research being the class IV homeroom teacher and 19 class IV students. Meanwhile, the object of this research is interactive media based on word wall educational games on fraction material. Then the techniques used in data collection are interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. As well as data analysis techniques using qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of this development research show that students need an interesting learning media on fraction material such as interactive learning media based on word wall educational games on fraction material. The implication of this development research is that learning can be interesting, increase student learning motivation and student learning outcomes can increase.

Abstract

The research aims to identify the management strategies implemented by the head of the madrasa to improve the quality of learning, understand the implementation of these management strategies in daily practices, and analyze the impact of these strategies on the quality of learning and student achievement. This study employs a descriptive research design. Data collection was conducted using interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation. The findings reveal that (1) the management strategies applied by the head of the madrasa to enhance learning quality include strategies for: improving teacher professionalism; optimizing the learning process; enhancing academic and non-academic achievements; fulfilling facilities and infrastructure; managing financing; fostering community relations; and conducting supervision and evaluation. (2) The implementation of management strategies by the head of the madrasa in daily practices includes: organizing regular study sessions and seminars; allowing teachers to take study leave for further education; optimizing extracurricular guidance; procuring appropriate and planned facilities and infrastructure; promoting discipline; and recognizing class rankings and overall performance. (3) The application of management strategies by the head of the madrasa positively impacts learning quality and student achievement, leading to improvements in teaching quality, increased discipline and performance among teachers, development of teacher competencies, motivation and appreciation for teachers, effective management of facilities and infrastructure, enhanced student achievements, innovative and sustainable learning practices, and strengthened collaboration with parents/guardians and the community. Abstract

The IAI As'adiyah Sengkang English education study program at the MTs As'Adiyah school performs community service. This practice is a kind of community service, particularly in schools, where it is used to carry out the commitments outlined in the Tridharma of higher education. The strategy aims to teach English vocabulary in the classroom using games. According to the results of PKM activities, students can more easily understand and remember vocabulary during the teaching and learning process, the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities can be monitored by the teacher, students can participate in learning with high enthusiasm, the material can be presented in an interesting manner by the teacher, and the topics in the material are also close to the students' daily lives. As a result of these activities, students become more interested in the learning process, which improves teacher-student communication.

Abstract

The female dormitory students of the As'adiyah Sengkang Islamic Boarding School who are also students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah and Madrasah Aliyah were the objectives of this program, which began at the start of the 2020/2021 academic year. This activity is being carried out to provide students with an understanding of the English language. Learning in Islamic boarding schools has never previously provided intensive English learning so that students not only gain religious knowledge but also gain English knowledge that will be useful after they graduate. For four and a half months, this activity was carried out by delivering basic English elements such as grammar, vocabulary, and conversation. Students enjoyed this activity. This demonstrates their desire to improve their English skills.

Abstract

Teaching English to elementary school students (SD) was created as an extracurricular activity. However, impediments such as instructor capacity or aptitude, as well as school conditions, can demotivate children from learning English. This community service project (PKM) seeks to provide English language help to elementary school children in Wajo Regency in their extracurricular English learning. The goal of the project is to develop a fun and fascinating English teaching and learning process and method at Wajo Inpres Elementary School through online tools like Zoom, WhatsApp Group, and Google Classroom (impact of the COVID-19 pandemic). Pammana Subdistrict, Wajo Regency, was very successful or experienced an increase, particularly in speaking and listening, as evidenced by the results of the pre-test listening (53.87 percent) and speaking (55.32 percent) after doing the post-test. Increased listening (81.6 percent) and speaking (55.32 percent) after doing the post-test (82.3 percent).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahap pengembangan media pembelajaran kartu pertanyaan dan untuk mengetahui validasi, praktikalitas dan efektivitas pengembangan media pembelajaran kartu pertanyaan untuk materi IPS Kenampakan Alam kelas V MI Islam Datok Sulaiman palopo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian pengembangan atau metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah adalah siswa kelas V MI Islam Datok Sulaiman. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah: 1) Wawancara, 2) Dokumentasi, 3) Angket, 4) Validasi Ahli, 5) Tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil analisis kebutuhan dan tahap pengembangan di kelas V MI Datok Sulaiman, ditemukan bahwa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah tersebut terdapat kebutuhan untuk menghadirkan inovasi baru dalam media pembelajaran. Salah satu bentuk inovasi yang diperlukan adalah media kartu pertanyaan (question card). Validasi media pembelajaran dikembangkan menunjukkan tingkat validitas yang tinggi. Ahli media mendapatkan persentase validitas sebesar 77% dengan kategori valid. Ahli materi memberikan nilai persentase 90%, ahli bahasa memberikan nilai persentase 85% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan yang diuji cobakan kepada siswa sebanyak 20 orang menunjukkan nilai 84% dan dari guru kelas II dengan nilai akhir dari hasil uji kepraktisan mencaai 92% dengan kategori sangat praktis Hasil uji keefektifan mengenai media kartu pertanyaan (question card) diperoleh rata-rata skor pretest siswa adalah 71,25%, sedangkan rata-rata posttest siswa adalah 90% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to improve students' reading comprehension using a Reciprocal Teaching Strategy in the fourth semester of IAI As'adiyah Sengkang's English education. The researcher used a pre-experimental design that included a pretest and a posttest. The sample comprised of 20 students drawn from IAI As'adiyah Sengkang's fourth semester English education students utilizing a cluster random selection approach. This study used a 20-item multiple-choice reading test as the research tool. Pre-test and post-test data were obtained. The data analysis revealed that the mean score of the students' pre-tests was 59, 29 and the mean score of the post-test was 77,62. It was discovered that pupils' reading comprehension improved after undergoing Reciprocal Teaching treatment (0.05). The researcher concluded that Reciprocal Teaching Strategy was appropriate in teaching reading comprehension at IAI As'adiyah Sengkang's fourth semester of English education. The reciprocal Teaching technique can be used as an alternative strategy in the teaching and learning process by English teachers and other scholars.
