Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pendukung model pembelajaran hybrid (hybrid learning) untuk meningkatkan penguasaan TPACK para calon guru Biologi. Pengembangan model pembelajaran diawali dengan mengembangkan perangkat pendukung. Perangkat pendukung utamanya ialah 1) Rencana pembelajaran semester (RPS), dan 2) instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK. Penelitian pengembangan (R & D) ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Pada tahap implementation dilakukan uji coba produk, menggunakan pendekatan penelitian preexperimental, One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Produk 1 dan 2 diimplementasikan bersamaan dalam mata kuliah Fisiologi Hewan yang menggunakan hybrid learning, melibatkan 114 mahasiswa. Data yang dikumpulkan ialah 1) validitas RPS untuk pembelajarkan TPACK, dan 2) validitas instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK pada calon guru Biologi. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup lembar validasi RPS dan lembar validasi instrument penilaian penguasaan TPACK. Data validitas RPS, data validitas instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK, dan data efektivitasnya dianalisis secara dekriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) RPS Fisiologi Hewan, dan 2) instrument penilaian penguasaan TPACK yang dikembangkan terbukti valid dan efektif untuk dapat mendukung model hybrid learning untuk meningkatkan penguasaan TPACK para calon guru Biologi.

Abstract

This service activity was carried out in an effort to improve the professional competence of teachers at SMP N 2 Tengaran through training and assistance in Classroom Action Research (CAR) and its publication. A total of 40 teachers participated in this activity which was packaged in In Service Training (IST) and On Service Training (OST) for 32 Lesson Hours with three main stages namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Overall, efforts to improve the professionalism and competence of SMP N 2 Tengaran Semarang teachers through the implementation of community service went well. This is supported by the results of the evaluation questionnaire analysis, which concluded that the participants were very satisfied with the service activities carried out. In addition, the percentage of teacher completeness in preparing PTK proposals and preparing CAR articles is also in the good category.

Abstract

The implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka aims to improve the previous curriculum by implementing various intra-curricular learning. In the implementation of the independent curriculum, science teachers are required to develop innovative teaching modules so that the subject matter can be conveyed properly. Teaching modules must also be in line with the demands of the 21st century which require ICT integration. However, in its implementation there are several obstacles, one of which is the large number of science teachers who do not fully understand how to compile good teaching modules according to the context, characteristics, and needs of students in line with 21st century learning trends. In addition, only a small proportion of science teachers have used technology integration in the preparation of teaching modules due to lack of mastery of TPACK. Based on the problems faced by these partners, the service team felt the need to carry out activities to increase the professionalism of the Semarang City MGMP Science teachers through Assistance in the Preparation of TPACK-based teaching modules. This service activity is carried out in on with the implementation of the equivalent of 32 hours of study.

Abstract

The Indonesian government mandates that science teachers must have competence in designing science experiments for learning purposes so that science content can be learned optimally by students while preparing them to have the ability to face the 21st century. This is development research that aims to develop a measurement instrument for science experiment design skills for prospective science teachers that meets good psychometric characteristics. The rubric development procedure refers to the Churches rubric development method, which consists of four stages: define, design, do, and debrief, involving 10 experts (lecturers and teachers) and 124 prospective science teachers as research participants. The results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis showed that the analytical rubric developed by measuring ten aspects, namely title, research objectives, relevant theories, variables, materials, equipment and instrumentation, method, an appropriate number of data, references, and systematic and technical writing was valid in content (CVI=.96), valid in construct (GFI=.94; RMSEA=.071; NFI=.99; CFI=1.00; PNFI=.91), and reliable (α=.968). The use of a standardized rubric certainly allows the assessment to provide consistent, accurate, and objective results and helps students understand what competencies they must achieve.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital calorimeter experimental kit that is valid, accurate, precise, and as well and to analyze the profile of the ability to design experiments in pre-service science teachers after taking lectures using the digital calorimeter experiment kit. This research used the ADDIE model. The digital calorimeter that has been developed has digital innovation by using a digital temperature controller W1209 and an integrated heater. Expert validation results show valid criteria. The experimental results show a precision level of 98.9% and an accuracy rate of 95.6%. After the digital calorimeter was applied to lectures, a profile of the ability to design experimental science teacher candidates was obtained in the high category with an average score of 83.16. So it can be concluded that the digital calorimeter experimental kit developed is valid, accurate, precise, and able to train the ability to design experimental pre-service science teacher. The development of a digital calorimeter experiment kit can be an alternative to providing technology-based experiment tools and can also train the abilities of pre-service science teachers related to science experiments.

Abstract

This research was carried out in September-October 2023 at the Bengkulu University ex-situ turtle conservation area, aiming to provide comprehensive knowledge about roaming patterns, active times, and movement areas in artificial habitats so that they can be used to develop effective conservation strategies for maintaining the preservation of C. amboinensis in the ex-situ turtle conservation area, Bengkulu University. This study observed 11 individual turtles (4 females and 7 males). This research uses literature study methods and direct observations in the field. The results obtained showed that C. amboinensis had: high mobility because all artificial areas were explored. The active time of C. amboinensis is in the morning and evening. The range of movement of males is greater than that of females. Mounting activity occurs spontaneously or directly when male C. amboinensis and female C. amboinensis meet in a certain area. The roaming pattern of C. amboinensis occurs randomly and the range of movement between male and female C. amboinensis is very different.

Abstract

Based on the 2013 curriculum and Regulation of the Ministry of Education and Culture number 20 of 2016 concerning Achievement of Graduation Standards, graduates must not only be equipped with factual, conceptual, procedural knowledge but also metacognitive knowledge related to the field of knowledge, which is science. Metacognition can be measured by certain evaluation tools, so the instruments used in the learning assessment are oriented towards metacognition abilities. One of the characteristics of metacognitive assessment is that it involves students in their self-assessment process. Self-assessment is a habit of thinking about the relationship between metacognition and reflection. Metacognitive self-assessment is a metacognitive assessment instrument developed in this research, consisting 20 questions of metacognitive ability test and reflection journal as a self-assessment. This study aims to test the feasibility, analyze the characteristics of the product and determine the metacognitive profile of students. The results of data analysis showed that the Metacognitive Self Assessment product was very feasible with an average percentage obtained of 92.78% according to material experts, 86.43% according to evaluation experts, and the feasibility of readability data based on student responses of 83.59%. Metacognition profiles data based on their level are also supported by the results of reflection journals as a form of self-assessment that students have been able to carry out the process of reflection and evaluation of learning and what they are doing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan minat Belajar IPA peserta didik di kelas VIII G semester genap Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 SMPN 41 Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran Childern Learning in Science (CLiS). Model PTK yang digunakan adalah model Kemmis dan Taggart dalam 2 siklus pembelajaran. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Data penelitian berupa minat belajar IPA peserta didik diambil dengan menggunakan instrumen angket minat belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif komparatif antar siklus. Hasil Penenlitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini diperoleh rata-rata indeks minat belajar pada siklus I adalah 65,80 %. Kemudian rata-rata indeks minat belajar peserta didik pada siklus II adalah 69,78 %. Hal tersebut berarti terdapat peningkatan minat belajar IPA peserta didik kelas 8 G SMPN 41 Semarang semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik dari penerapan model pembelajaran Remap Teams Games Tournament dengan media Canva terhadap pada materi Ekologi dan Keanekaragaman Hayati Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dan langkah-langkah setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi pada kelas VII D SMP Negeri 2 Tengaran tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan 33 peserta didik. Data penelitian diperoleh dari nilai pra siklus, siklus 1, siklus 2, dan lembar observasi motivasi belajar serta lembar angket tanggapan peserta didik. Berdasarkan data analisis N-Gain terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar diperoleh data peningkatan pada siklus 1 sebesar 0,32 dengan kriteria sedang dan siklus 2 sebesar 0,41 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil analisis lembar motivasi belajar menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan, dimana pada siklus 1 memperoleh data N-Gain sebesar 0,31 dengan kriteria sedang dan pada siklus 2 memperoleh data N-Gain sebesar 0,72 dengan kriteria tinggi. Lembar angket tanggapan peserta didik juga menunjukkan persentase 89,30% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model remap teams games tournament dengan media Canva pada materi ekologi dan keanekaragaman hayati Indonesia dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII D SMP Negeri 2 Tengaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains pada peserta didik kelas VII dari nilai ulangan IPA pada pertemuan-pertemuan sebelumnya. Pada Pembelajaran IPA belum menggunakan LKPD yang berbasis CRT. Penelitian ini menitikberakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains melalui penerapan Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) pada kelas VII di SMP N 2 Ambarawa. Desain penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan model penelitian Kemmis dan Taggart yaitu berbentuk spiral dari siklus yang satu ke siklus berikutnya. Setiap siklus meliputi planning (perencanaan), action (tindakan), observation (pengamatan) dan reflection (refleksi). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal-soal literasi sains dengan jenis soal esay. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII D sebanyak 36 anak. Pada siklus I keterampilan literasi sains peserta didik saat pretes yang tuntas dari nilai KKM ada 14% dan nilai postes sebesar 51%. Pada siklus II keterampilan literasi sains peserta didik dari mengerjakan pretes sebesar 37% dan yang tuntas postes ada 89%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains pada peserta didik kelas VII di SMP N 2 Ambarawa.
