Abstract

Rekonfigurasi jaringan (Network Reconfiguration) merupakan suatu usaha merubah bentuk konfigurasi jaringan distribusi dengan mengoperasikan pensakelaran terkontrol jarak jauh (switching remotely controlled) pada jaringan distribusi tanpa menimbulkan akibat yang beresiko pada operasi dan bentuk sistem jaringan distribusi secara keseluruhan. Dalam kondisi operasi normal, rekonfigurasi jaringan dilakukan karena dua alasan: mengurangi rugi-rugi daya pada sistem (loss reduction), mendapatkan pembebanan yang seimbang untuk mencegah pembebanan yang berlebih pada jaringan (load balancing). Pada Jarinyan Tegangan menengah Penyulang Tawun Rayon Ngawi terdiri dari 57 bus (GTT) dan 60 saluran. Dari hasil running menunjukkan bahwa sebelum rekonfigurasi memutus switch line 56, 57, 58, 59 dan 60 setelah rekonfigurasi line 26, 27, 42, 47 dan 53. Sebelum rekonfigurasi jaringan mengalami losses sebesar 235.1532 kW setelah rekonfigurasi mengalami losses sebesar 184.1323 kW. Hasil rekonfigurasi dapat mereduksi losses 21.6969 %. Dan tegangan ujung sebelum rekonfigurasi 0,93891 pu menjadi 0.95897 pu

Abstract

Kualitas daya pada sumber energi terbarukan turbin angin yang dihibrid dengan diesel dapat dipengaruhi oleh perubahan fluktuasi frekuensi.Pembangkit Listrik Sistem hibrid (PLTH) adalah pembangkit listrik yang dari beberapa pembangkit tenaga energi terbaharukan seperti : turbin angin, sel surya, mikrohidro dan sebagainya. Dalam operasinya, ada beberapa permasalahan yang dapat meningkatkan osilasi frekuensi rendah, seperti tidak optimalnya setting gain dan kecilnya waktu konstan pada Automatic Voltage Regulator, juga jaringan transmisi yang panjang sehingga losses yang besar. Kontrol PLTH dalam penerapannya, dikontrol dengan kontroler PID, namun dalam penyetelan nilai gain dari PID masih dalam metode konvensional saja, sehingga sulit untuk mendapatkan nilai optimal dari PID. Dalam penelitian iniditerapkan desain kontrol dengan menggunakan Metode Cerdas dalam mencari nilai optimum ProporsionalIntergral Derivatif (PID) untuk mengatur frekuensi beban dengan program Matlab/Simulink. Pemodelan wind-diesel menggunakan fungsi transfer dari diagram turbin angin dan diesel. Respon sistem dengan Simulink/ Matlab denganmembandingkan dengan sistem tak terkontrol dan dengan metode PID-Trial Error, menunjukkan bahwa besar overshoot dan respon keadaanmantap (Settling Time) pada sistem terkontrol ICA menjadi berkurang dan lebih cepat

Abstract

Sistem transmisi di Sulawesi Selatan menggunakan saluran transmisi udara dan tegangan 150 kV, melalui beberapa daerah pusat beban, yaitu : Makassar, Maros, Pangkep, Barru, Pare-Pare, Pinrang, dan Polewali. Data kelistrikan yang dibutuhkan, diperoleh dari AP2B PT.PLN (Persero) Wilayah Sul-Sel, dimana data yang dimaksud antara lain : Data penomoran bus kelistrikan sistem Sulsel, single line diagram sistem Sul-Sel, data pembangkitan (kV, MW, MVAR), data transformator (kV, MVA), data saluran transmisi sistem Sulsel (panjang,R, X, Y), data bus (kV, %) Study aliran daya sangat diperlukan untuk menganalisa kinerja sistem baik saat ini maupun untuk masa yang akan datang. Dari hasil yang didapat dengan studi kasus yang digunakan untuk aliran daya ada dua, yaitu : kondisi normal dan dengan pemasangan kapasitor shunt pada bus yang mengalami critical voltage, di mana untuk Bus yang mengalami critical voltage terdapat pada Bus distribusi bosowa sebesar 10,438 kV atau 94,9 % dan Bus distribusi tanjung bunga sebesar 18,818 kV atau 94,1 kV, sedangkan setelah penambahan kapasitor shunt pada Bus distribusi bosowa sebesar 10,490 kV atau 95,4 % dan pada Bus distribusi tanjung bunga sebesar 19,209 kV atau 96,0 %. Jumlah losses sebesar 7,483 MW

Abstract

One of methods that can be used to determine the stability of a power system if the fault occured is the equal area criterion method. The equal area criterion method (Equal Area Criterion, EAC) is an example of a direct method for predicting the stability and also the critical clearing time (Critical clearing time). However, to calculate the complex calculations required to determine the equivalent impedance of each condition system. In this study used several approaches to facilitate the calculation of the equivalent impedance. This method uses the equation of power losses. This method is equivalent impedance using modified with Ploss and Qloss for Determining Pmax. From the analysis, it can be concluded the use of this method is quite accurate in analyzing or calculating the transient stability of the generator system in South Sulawesi, with each loading condition, before, during and after short circuit. Generator being looked at is Bakaru, Pare, Suppa, Barru and Sengkang.

Abstract

The problem of using Power System Stabilizer (PSS) in generator excitation is how to determine optimal PSS parameter. To overcome these problems, the authors use a method of intelligent bats based algorithm to design PSS. Bat Algorithm is an algorithm that works based on bat behavior in search of food source. Correlation with this research is, food sources sought by bats represent as PSS parameters to be optimized. Bat's algorithm will work based on a specified destination function, namely Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE). In this research will be seen the deviation of velocity and rotor angle of each generator, in case of disturbance in bakaru generator. The analysis results show that the uncontrolled system produces a large overshoot oscillation, and after the addition of PSS oscillation control equipment can be muted. So that the overshoot and settling time of each generator can be reduced and the generator can quickly go to steady state condition.

Abstract

The reconfiguration distribution network is used to reset the network configuration form by opening and closing switches on the distribution network. Reconfiguration is expected to reduce power losses and improve distribution system reliability. Many feeders and buses on the network if calculated manually will be difficult and require a very long time. So the solution of the problem must use artificial intelligence or Artificial Intelligent (AI). Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA) widely used research in solving the optimization problem. Some studies comparing ICA with other artificial intelligence and ICA produce better results than other artificial intelligence. MICA is an ICA modification designed to solve a discrete combination of optimizations. MICA can find the best network reconfiguration so that it can reduce power loss by 35,7928% and fix voltage 0,0185 pu. This method can later use other artificial intelligence or can be applied to other repeater. So it can be used for recommendations to PT. PLN (Persero)

Abstract

Changes in load on the power system suddenly, can cause dynamic disruption. This disturbance can not be responded well by the generator, so it can affect the system dynamic stability, such as the occurrence of oscillation speed and rotor angle. Conventional control of excitation and governor, also unable to repair the oscillations, so that additional controllers such as Power System Stabilizer (PSS) are required. In the use of PSS, there are several problems that often arise, namely the correct tuning of PSS parameters. In this research, we proposed a method of smart computing based on bat algorithm, for tuning PSS parameters. From the analysis results can be concluded, the performance performance of generator barru increased with the installation of Power System Stabilizer with optimal PSS parameter, with parameters respectively Kpss = 44.0828, T1 = 0.0284, T2 = 0.0146, T3 = 0.7818, T4 = 1.2816.

Abstract

Lightning rods in the Laboratory of Energy and Protection Distribution System of Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic are not functioning properly so the resistance resistance tends to be large, this is not good for earthing. This problem can be overcome by remaking lightning rods on wet and dry soils. This activity was carried out to reduce the value of resistance resistance in connection with this, this activity was carried out by designing, assembling and collecting data carried out by testing, while data analysis was carried out by counting. Based on the results of the discussion concluded that the resistance resistance value obtained is smaller than the previous device. Evidenced by the results of the test where the resistance value on the rod electrode in dry conditions ranged from 1.56 to 2.40 Ohm while the previous tool ranged from 1.6 to 9.0 Ohm. Then for wet soil conditions that range from 0.45 to 1.29 Ohm, while the previous tool is around 1.8 - 5.25 Ohm

Abstract

Electric motor is an electric machine that has a function as a converter of electrical energy into mechanical energy. Electric motors are widely used as movers because they are better in terms of technical and economical, but have disadvantages such as large initial currents so that they cannot last long, to overcome this can be used Y-utan star starting method both manually and automatically created in a panel box. In the operation and manufacture of a protection system for a 3 phase induction motor, some supporting equipment can be arranged in a panel box so that motor performance can be maximized. The results of this tool design are in the form of a panel box in which there are three types of circuits, namely: 3 phase induction motor operation circuit with the starting Y-∆ automatically, reversing the direction of 3 phase induction motor rotation, and 3 phase induction motor operation in two places. Where the series is equipped with a protection system and can be operated manually and automatically.

Abstract

In the standard operating system, the input parameters such as changes in the mechanical torque of the turbine and changes in the field voltage of the amplifier from the exciter need to be considered. Some studies that can be done include the study of the dynamic stability of synchronous generators when dealing with small changes that occur using the eigenvalue approach which is the roots of the characteristic equations of the system state space equation. The eigenvalue can show information on system stability and is related to the response of time to changes in the system. The system used is in the Sulselrabar electrical system. From the simulation results show the characteristics of the system in terms of the frequency response and angle of the generator rotor. For the eigenvalue system value in the inter-area oscillation mode is -0.33293 + 4.0844i, for the oscillation mode it is -0.9043 + 7.9670i. While the generator frequency response, where oscillations occur before reaching steady state conditions. The biggest overshoot response occurs in Old Tello plants, with a maximum overshoot of 0.09124 pu and a minimum of -0.2227 pu. While the smallest overshoot response is found in the Bakaru hydroelectric power plant which is equal to 0.004681 maximum pu and -0.02563 minimum pu.
