Abstract

Abstract

Starting from growth that supports development, in the end growth and development go hand in hand. An important period in a child's growth and development begins in infancy because basic growth is what will influence and determine the child's subsequent development. The aim of this research is to detect deviations in the development of early childhood children aged 2-3 years at the ECCE Rahmah El Yunusiyyah Padang Panjang through the Stimulation, Detection and Early Intervention of Child Growth and Development (SDICGD) instruments in the Android feature. This research was conducted using a cross-sectional approach. Participants in this study were 26 children aged 2-3 years using a consecutive sampling technique of 10 children whose growth and development were monitored using the SDICGD android application. The results of this study showed that several partisipants experienced malnutrition, one partisipant out of nine normal partisipants. The Developmental Pre-Screening Questionnaire (DPSQ) instrument of the ten child participants contained nine children (90%) who were according to the developmental stage aged 24-36 months, and one child was not according to the developmental stage. The results of the Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) test showed that three children (60%) were normal, and two children (40%) were hyperactive. Early detection of children's growth and development must be carried out regularly every month, and according to the child's age. For further research, it is hoped that early detection will also be carried out on the development of children's mental health, not just growth and development which is common and widely researched. Schools and parents must play an active role in children's growth and development so that no developmental stages are missed, and children grow and develop according to their age. Abstract

Sex education for children is education to introduce private and closed parts of the body that must be maintained. This research began with the problem that researchers found at RA Rahmah El-Yunusiyyah Padang Panjang that many children's questions were related to sexuality. The purpose of this sex education is to understand sexual behaviors that appear according to the child's age. This sex education is also expected to minimize things that parents do not want related to the many cases of sexual violence that occur against early childhood. This study aims to describe and find out parents' strategies for sex education for 5-6 year old children in Raudhatul Athfal Rahmah El-Yunusiyyah Padang Panjang.  This type of research is a qualitative and using approach and naturalistic phenomenology. The data collection method in this study uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, to test the validity of the data, the researcher uses the triangulation technique. Then to analyze the data, the researcher divided it into three components, including: data reduction, data display (data presentation) and conclusion drawing (data verification).Based on the results of the interviews conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that parents do not know sex education for 5-6 year old children in RA REY, therefore of the 8 (eight) strategies written in the parental theory have not been maximized in applying to children, because parents are constrained by the lack of sex science for children so that parents often run away from questions and are not open in delivering sex education to children. Although parents know the great benefits for their children in the future so that they can keep their children away from sexual deviations in adolescence, parents have not yet provided sex education according to the child's age stages. Keywords: Parent Strategy, Sex Education

Abstract

The problem behind this research is that the language skills of children aged 5-6 years in Class B of the tulip group at RA Rahmah El-Yunusiyyah Padang Panjang have not developed, such as children who have not been able to compose simple sentences in a complete structure, children have not been able to understand the rules in a game. Based on this, researchers try to apply spin board media in the hope that it can improve children's language skills well. This study aims to improve the language skills of children aged 5-6 years through spin board media. Spin board as an interactive learning media, designed to facilitate the development of children's language skills through fun and educational games. The study used a classroom action research method with a sample of 12 children in class B of the Tulip group of RA Rahmah El-yunusiyyah Padang Panjang. Data was collected through observation, documentation and research. The results of this study indicate that the improvement of children's language skills through spin board media has increased. This can be seen from before taking action, where from pre-research the number of scores achieved by children is only 26%. Then the researchers took action for 2 cycles, where in each cycle there were 3 meetings. The first meeting in cycle I the score obtained by the child through the spin board media was 27%, then at the second meeting of cycle I increased to 30% and at the third meeting in cycle I the score achieved by the child through the spin board media was 48%. This shows that every meeting the scores achieved by children always increase, but have not met the ideal score standard of 72%. Therefore, researchers continued to cycle II. The score at the first meeting in cycle II was 50% then experienced an increase in the second meeting of 55% and continued the third meeting of cycle II experienced an increase in children's learning process using spin board media of 80%. From each cycle carried out, it can be concluded that this research was successful.

This type of research is a quantitative true experimental design. This study used two sample classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The experimental class was treated using project-based learning. While in the control class without using project-based learning in learning. At the end of the study, the experimental and control classes were given a test to see the achievement of students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HoTS). The research design used was randomize control group posttest only design, the sample was selected using purposive sampling technique from the study population, namely 21 students in the experimental class who used project-based learning model in Fiqh learning and 21 students in the control class who used conventional learning. To collect data from the sample, a final test was used using Higher Order Thinking Skills (HoTS) quality questions. The data was analyzed using the SPSS window 18.0 program. From the data analysis, the average HoTS value of the experimental class was 94.28 and the average value of the control class was 82.95. From the results of hypothesis testing obtained t count of 9.568 with t table of 1.684. The condition is that H0 is rejected if tcount> ttable. So it can be concluded that the application of project-based learning model in learning Fiqh affects the achievement of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HoTS) of students at the madrasah tsanawiyah level.
