Abstract

Fatigue is a common occurrence in the workplace, especially in workplaces that require physical ability and a high level of focus. This condition, which affects workers and can reduce their vitality and productivity, is called occupational fatigue. This study aims to determine the demographic factors (age, gender, length of service, marital status, and education level) that influence occupational fatigue and anxiety among medical personnel at Kartini General Hospital, South Jakarta. The number of respondents taken was 82 medical personnel at Kartini General Hospital using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instrument used was the IFRC Questionnaire to assess occupational fatigue. and some demographic data entry using Google Form and tested using the chi-square test The research results showed that factors influencing work fatigue among medical personnel at Kartini Hospital were gender, marital status, and number of shifts.Age, education level, and length of service do not affect work fatigue. Medical personnel with more shifts will experience higher work fatigue. Female medical personnel have higher work fatigue than male medical personnel, and married medical personnel have lower work fatigue than unmarried ones. Gender as a determinant of work fatigue is associated with hormonal and psychological factors, psychological factors, and social factors. Marital status is a determinant factor associated with the role and support of the family towards the individual. A greater number of shifts will increase the workload and is associated with increased work fatigue.

Abstract

Hospitals are health service institutions with a high risk of occupational accidents and work-related diseases. The complexity of services, the use of advanced technology, and the involvement of various healthcare professionals require the sustainable implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) culture. However, many hospitals still face challenges in its implementation, particularly regarding workers’ awareness, management support, and work environment conditions. This study aims to analyze the influence of these three factors on the implementation of K3 culture at RSUD dr. Kanujoso Djatiwibowo Balikpapan. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey design. The sample was obtained using proportional random sampling of healthcare and support staff. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that individual awareness, management support, and work environment significantly influence the implementation of K3 culture, both partially and simultaneously. Workers’ awareness contributes to compliance with procedures, management support plays a role in providing policies and resources, while the physical and psychosocial work environment supports the development of safe. In conclusion, strengthening K3 culture requires integrating psychological, organizational, and ergonomic dimensions. The study suggests that hospital management enhance continuous training, strengthen supervision, provide safe work facilities, and embed K3 culture as a core organizational value. These efforts are expected to reduce occupational accidents and diseases while improving productivity and service quality.

Abstract

Employee workload is a situation where employees are faced with a volume of work that must be completed at a certain time. Excessive workload can reduce employee productivity. This can lead to a decrease in the quality of health services and employee performance. This study aims to analyze workload, quality of health services and employee performance at Hermina Manado Hospital. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 68 respondents. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and verification analysis using path analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis of workload, quality of health services and employee performance of respondents gave a good assessment, there were still some that needed to be improved. While the results of the verification study, the path analysis model showed that the path coefficient value between variables was positive and the indirect influence path coefficient value was greater than the direct influence (73.6> 45.4%), meaning that the health service quality variable as an intervening variable was able to mediate the workload variable with the employee performance variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of medical service quality and trust on patient loyalty with patient satisfaction as an intervening variable in the inpatient ward of Bhayangkara Hospital Banjarmasin. Hospitals are required to consistently provide comprehensive healthcare services, maintain patient trust, and enhance the quality of their services in order to improve patient satisfaction. This research employed a quantitative approach. The sample of this study consisted of 78 patients at Bhayangkara Hospital Banjarmasin. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis and verification analysis with path analysis. The findings reveal that service quality and trust have a significant effect on improving patient satisfaction. Enhancements in service quality and trust can significantly contribute to higher levels of patient satisfaction. Service quality also has a significant effect on increasing patient loyalty, indicating that improved service quality can significantly foster greater patient loyalty. However, service quality and trust were found to have no direct significant effect on patient loyalty. Although improvements in service quality and trust may encourage higher patient loyalty, the effect was not statistically significant. Patient satisfaction demonstrated a significant influence on patient loyalty, suggesting that increased patient satisfaction can significantly enhance patient loyalty. Moreover, trust was shown to have a significant effect on patient loyalty when mediated by patient satisfaction. While improvements in trust may encourage greater loyalty through increased satisfaction, the effect was not statistically significant.

Abstract

Hospital supply chains face increasing complexity, requiring strategic supplier relationships beyond transactional interactions. Despite their critical importance, supplier satisfaction remains underexplored in healthcare logistics literature. This study investigates how hospital commitment, trust, and communication influence supplier satisfaction in healthcare supply chain contexts, adopting a supplier-centric perspective. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted at Hospital X Bandung, Indonesia, achieving complete census participation from 60 suppliers across six product categories. Path analysis examined relationships among commitment (9 items), trusth(4 items), communication (11 items), and supplier satisfaction (6 items) using validated 7-point Likert scales. The model explained 62% of supplier satisfaction variance (R²=0.620, F=30.422, p<0.001). Commitment exerted the strongest total effect (24.4%), followed by trust (19.7%) and communication (17.9%). All path coefficients achieved statistical significance (p<0.05). Descriptively, trust performed best (M=5.30), while communication showed critical deficiencies (M=4.02), particularly in supplier site visits (M=1.85) and strategic information sharing. Relational factors significantly influence supplier satisfaction in hospital supply chains. Hospitals should operationalize commitment through consistent behaviors, build trust via transparency, and enhance strategic communication beyond transactional exchanges. These relationship investments may yield improved supply chain resilience, preferential resource allocation.
