Abstract

An understanding of teachers’ job satisfaction is needed to provide overall and different dimensions of job satisfaction and the effects of individual factors. The overall attitude and views of teachers toward their working conditions and profession affect teaching and the quality of the school. Research on measures to promote teachers’ job satisfaction in public secondary schools can help us understand teachers’ overall and particular aspects of job satisfaction and provide scientific grounds for resolving problems. The factors affecting job satisfaction determine the dimensions and constituents of teachers’ job satisfaction. Conducive working conditions, promotional opportunities, fair remuneration, and teacher empowerment were found to be the major factors affecting the job satisfaction of teachers. This paper reveals that most of the factors related to motivation and hygiene factors in Herzberg's Two-factor theory are influential on teachers' job satisfaction. Concepts related to teachers' job satisfaction and factors affecting job satisfaction were discussed.

Abstract

It is impossible to prevent diversity in the educational system because students come from a variety of racial, ethnic, religious, and other cultural backgrounds. As a means of fostering an inclusive and varied workplace, diversity management is gradually becoming more popular. Such approaches have a significant impact on organizational performance when they are applied effectively. The purpose of the survey design was to determine how much employee work attitudes, which are influenced by diversity management, affect organizational effectiveness. A conceptual literature review was reviewed to ascertain the connectivity between diversity management and human behavior. Ageism, aversion to change, and gender discrimination are the three main obstacles to workplace diversity according to empirical evidence. A person's behavior is a result of how they interact with their environment, according to the interactionist viewpoint. The idea of managing diversity acknowledges the advantages due to two factors brought about by successful diversity management increased cognitive flexibility and higher organizational flexibility in terms of processes, openness to new ideas, and ability to handle change. The study concluded that successfully managing diversity can lead to more committed, better satisfied, better performing employees and potentially better financial performance for an organization. It was recommended among others that periodic training on diversity and diversity management is required for all employees to know the importance of diversity in an organization.

Abstract

This study examines the use of scenario-based reflection as a qualitative approach to strengthening coordination in early childhood education and achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on quality education. Through semi-structured interviews and reflective scenarios involving 48 participants (educators, caregivers, and policymakers), the research explored ethical reasoning and collaborative problem-solving within service integration. Findings reveal that participants gained deeper awareness of moral responsibility and professional accountability when confronted with realistic dilemmas, such as unequal resource allocation or family-school conflicts. One educator noted, “Reflecting on justice made me rethink fairness in daily teaching decisions.” Because reflection stimulates empathy and shared ethical understanding, scenario-based learning fosters stronger intersectoral trust and responsive decision-making. The study concludes that integrating faith-informed reflection, guided by Islamic principles of amanah (trust) and adl (justice), enhances both coordination and moral integrity in early education systems aligned with SDG 4.
