Abstract

There are several things that encourage the writer to be interested in examining the problems in this research, namely: The implementation of evaluations in schools is still very monotonous. At the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Karawang school, the evaluation still uses ordinary written tests, so that it makes students easily bored in carrying out learning evaluations, especially in evaluating Fiqh learning. This is evidenced by the knowledge of students who do not understand material about buying and selling, khiyar, greetings and hajr. In overcoming problems in the process of implementing learning evaluation, it is necessary to have a learning media, in increasing student learning motivation there are several media that can be used by students, one of which is using kahoot media. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Karawang which is located at Jl.Syech Quro Km.5 No.1 Plawad, Palawad, Kec.Karawang Timur, Kab.Karawang Prov.Jawa Barat. for this research was carried out from February 20 to February 24, 2023. Abstract

Guidance and counseling are activities that are closely related to everyday human life, where every individual, including students, faces various problems. In the school environment, the role of guidance and counseling teachers is very important in helping students overcome academic and personal problems. SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur is the focus of this study to analyze the implementation of guidance and counseling and the challenges faced in its implementation. This study aims to describe the implementation of guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze problems that often arise in the implementation of guidance and counseling services at the school. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research informants consisted of guidance and counseling teachers and a student who had consulted. The results of the study showed that one of the main problems in the implementation of guidance and counseling is the perception of students who consider guidance and counseling teachers as peers. This affects the effectiveness of the services provided, thus impacting the quality of guidance received by students. Guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur requires more attention to understanding the role of guidance and counseling teachers so that the relationship that is established remains professional and effective in solving student problems.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Guidance and Counseling (BK) services at SMAN 6 Karawang, highlighting the challenges arising from the limited number of BK teachers. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, involving surveys with students and interviews with BK teachers. The results indicate that with only two BK teachers serving hundreds of students, individual attention becomes less optimal. Students with serious issues are prioritized, while others tend to be overlooked. Consequently, services such as individual counseling, group counseling, and home visits are less effective. The study also found that a lack of socialization results in students being unaware of the available BK programs. Recommendations include increasing the number of BK teachers, providing specialized training, and enhancing program socialization to better support students' holistic development.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the priority order for road maintenance on road sections under the Surabaya Road and Bridge Management Unit (UPT PJJ Surabaya) in East Java Province by utilizing the Provincial/District Roads Management System (PKRMS) application integrated with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Additionally, the study seeks to estimate the required costs for implementing the road maintenance. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a positivist philosophy. The study population consists of 123 employees from the East Java Provincial Public Works and Highways Agency, with a sample of 33 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using a mixed-method approach, involving road condition surveys conducted through the Moving Car Observer (MCO) method and a literature review. Data analysis was conducted systematically using a combination of PKRMS and AHP. The results indicate that the top-priority road section for maintenance, based on the integration of PKRMS and AHP, is the Sumberwudi–Karang Geneng section, which obtained the highest Priority Index Score (TPI) of 56. The estimated cost required for maintaining this road section is Rp16,475,545,104.98. The integration of PKRMS and AHP provides an objective, efficient, and data-driven approach, enabling local governments to optimize budgets and extend the lifespan of road infrastructure. This study recommends that local governments consistently adopt the combination of PKRMS and AHP in road infrastructure management to ensure more targeted budget allocation and enhance transparency in decision-making processes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the priority of road handling in East Java Province by integrating the Provincial/District Roads Management System (PKRMS) application and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Road condition data is obtained from PKRMS, including the physical condition of the road, traffic volume, and other parameters. The main criteria used in the AHP analysis are road condition, volume capacity ratio (VCR), connectivity, land use and priority areas of East Java Province. Each criterion was assessed and weighted based on its level of importance to produce road handling priorities.  The results showed that the integration of PKRMS and AHP was able to produce a more accurate order of road handling priorities in accordance with strategic needs. In the UPT PJJ Surabaya Road Section, road improvement priorities are arranged based on the Triggered Priority Index (TPI) value obtained from the combined analysis. This research also provides cost estimates for each road section, which helps with more efficient budget planning.  With this approach, it is expected that road management in East Java Province can be carried out more effectively, support inter-regional connectivity, and have a positive impact on economic growth.

Abstract

In PAI learning, using films as a learning medium can make learning easier and more enjoyable for students. Currently, students are starting to get bored with the same approach. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of PAI learning using film-based audio-visual at SDN Tambaksari II Karawang. Knowing the influence of student learning motivation on the use of film-based audio visuals in PAI learning at SDN Tambaksari II Karawang. To determine the effect of using film-based audio visuals on student learning motivation in PAI subjects at SDN Tambaksari II Karawang. This research method uses a one group pretest posttest experimental design. Based on the results of the linearity test using the ANOVA table, it was found that there was a loose relationship between the pretest and posttest scores. This is shown by the significance value, namely in the Linearity section there is a significance value of less than 0.05, namely 0.048. And in the Deviation from Linearity section there is a significance value greater than 0.05, namely 0.222. This means that there is a linear relationship between the influence of film-based audio visuals and student learning motivation.  This improvement not only includes cognitive aspects but also affective aspects of students. This shows that films are a powerful tool to increase learning motivation and foster student love
