Abstract

Lyric of the Kaili Pop song is a literary work that reflects the cultural attitudes of the Kaili society as the owner. The lyrics of the song express feelings or ideas of authors based on the author's life experience. The lyrics of the Kaili's songs that are unique in the theoretical perspective representing the cultural values of Kaili that implicate literature, especially on religious values of Islamic education, (1) prayer (2) repentance, and (3) firmness/resignation. The data of this qualitative research is the text of the lyrics of Kaili pop song. The data source of this research is Kaili songs obtained through audiovisuals in the form of cassettes or CDs. Data were collected through documentation study. The text of the song’s lyric was transcribed into the data card sheets and coded according to the focus of the research. The data transcription is analyzed in accordance with the steps of analysis proposed by Ricoeur consisting of (1) semantic understanding stage, (2) reflective understanding stage, and (3) existential understanding stage.

Abstract

Masalah yang diangkat, yakni 1) Bagaimana bentuk tindak tutur komisif dalam debat cagub dan cawagub DKI Jakarta tahun 2017? dan 2) Bagaimana fungsi tindak tutur komisif dalam debat cagub dan cawagub DKI Jakarta tahun 2017? Tujuan penelitian, yakni 1) mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur komisif dalam debat cagub dan cawagub DKI Jakarta tahun 2017. dan 2) mendeskripsikan fungsi tindak tutur komisif dalam debat cagub dan cawagub DKI Jakarta tahun 2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tuturan lisan yang bersumber dari cagub dan cawagub DKI Jakarta tahun 2017. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik rekam, dan catat. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan, yakni 1) pengumpulan data, 2) reduksi data, 3) penyajian data, dan 4) penarikkan simpulan. Hasil penelelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk tuturan komisif yang terdapat dalam debat cagub dan cawagub DKI Jakarta tahun 2017, yakni 1) bentuk menjanjikan 2) bentuk menawarkan, 3) bentuk mengancam, dan 4) bentuk menolak. Fungsi tindak tutur komisif yang diperoleh yakni, 1) fungsi menyenangkan, ditujukkan buat para warga Jakarta, 2) fungsi mengancam, ditujukkan buat para pihak-pihak yang melakukan criminal atau kepada seseorang yang melakukan hal-hal yang merugikan kepada warga Jakarta, 3) fungsi menolak, 4) fungsi mengejek, dan 5) fungsi menyindir ditujukkan kepada para calon kandidat untuk mempertahankan argument masing-masing.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study, namely (1) what verbal meanings are represented in the proverb in the Kaili language, Rai dialect? and (2) what function is represented in the proverb of Kaili in the Rai dialect? The research objectives, namely (1) to describe the representation of verbal meanings in the proverbial Kaili language in the Rai dialect and (2) to describe the functions represented in the proverb in the Kaili language in the Rai dialect. This type of research is qualitative with the method used is descriptive. The research was conducted in Tondo Village, Sirenja District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The data source is in the form of oral sources (determining the informant). Data collection techniques in this study used field research techniques, namely observation, interviews, recording and recording. The data analysis technique is done by; collect data, reduce data, present data, and conclude. The results showed that in the proverb of the ethnic Kaili, the amount of 16 represented two forms of meaning, namely denotative meaning and connotative meaning.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes of grade V SDN 9 Sindue tombusabora in Indonesian subjects. This study aims to prove that the application of the Talking Stick learning model can improve the learning outcomes of Grade V SDN 9 Sindue tombusabora students. The research subjects were 24 students. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of the pre-action test showed the percentage of classical learning completeness was 8.33% and classical absorption was 54.42%. The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The results of the study in the first cycle showed the percentage of classical absorption (DSK) of students was 66.92% and the percentage of mastery learning (KBK) was 45.83%. While in the second cycle the percentage of students 'classical absorption (DSK) was 77.08%, and the percentage of students' classical learning completeness (KBK) was 79.16%. Teacher activity in the first cycle reached 80.76% with good criteria, in the second cycle an increase of 88.46% with a very good category. Based on the results of the study showed that the learning outcomes of the Indonesian language field of study could be improved through the application of the Talking Stick learning model for fifth grade students of SDN 9 Tombusabora.

Abstract

Nora'a Keke is a ritual of the cultural tradition of Kaili tribe which is understood to give blood or offerings to ancestral spirits to pour rain to drought-stricken areas due to the long dry. The problem of this research was that it can reveal the implementation procession, symbols, and values contained in the Nora'a Keke ritual. This study aims to determine the process of carrying out the Nora'a Keke ritual. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using three data collection techniques, namely: observation, interviews and other supporting documents. Data were analyzed by collecting, reducing, presenting and concluding data. The results showed that the Nora'a Keke ritual process consisted of three stages, namely: (1) the initial stage such as deliberation and opening ceremonies, (2) the core stage, the implementation of the Nora'a Keke ritual and (3) the final stage, eating by following the customs. and Moraego. The important values contained in the Nora'a Keke ritual are: religious, philosophical and ethical values.

Abstract

The Kaili language expression of the Rai dialect has special characteristics in education. The purpose of this research is to describe the form of the values and functions of the characters in the Kaili language expression of the Rai dialect as part of the values of character education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The type of data is in the form of oral data sourced from predetermined informants. Data collection techniques include; (1) observation, (2) interviews, (3) recording, and 4) note-taking techniques, so the stages in the analysis technique are collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. As for how to analyze it, namely transcribing and translating data findings, classifying data, analyzing forms and functions, and testing data to obtain conclusions. The research results obtained are that there are three forms of character education values, including; (1) educational value, (2) social value, and (3) moral value. In conclusion, the Kaili dialect of Rai can manifest educational values that are oriented towards character building, both for students at school and in living life as a society. AbstrakUngkapan bahasa Kaili dialek Rai memiliki karakteristik khususnya pada pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk nilai dan fungsi karakter dalam ungkapan bahasa Kaili dialek Rai sebagai bagian nilai pendidikan karakter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis data berupa data lisan yang bersumber dari informan yang telah ditentukan. Teknik pengumpulan data antara lain; (1) observasi, (2) wawancara, (3) perekaman, dan 4) teknik catat, sehingga tahapan dalam teknik analisis yaitu mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, menarik kesimpulan. Adapun cara menganalisisnya yaitu mentranskripsi dan menerjemahkan temuan data, mengklasifikasian data, analisis bentuk serta fungsi, dan menguji data agar memperoleh kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu terdapat tiga bentuk dari nilai pendidikan karakter, antara lain; (1) nilai edukasi, (2) nilai sosial, dan (3) nilai moral. Kesimpulannya, bahasa Kaili dialek Rai dapat memanifestasikan nilai pendidikan yang berorientasi pada pembentukan karakter, baik kepada siswa di sekolah, maupun dalam menjalani kehidupan sebagai masyarakat.

Abstract

Children's cartoons are television shows that are an alternative for children to watch. This audiovisual presentation contains a lot of educational value. This paper aims to describe the cultural diversity contained in the children's cartoon film “Adit & Sopo Jarwo from the perspective of multimodal analysis. The method used in analyzing this cartoon is a qualitative method using content analysis. The content analysis model used is the multimodal analysis model proposed by Teo van Leeuwen. The results showed that the multimodal content in the ASJ film can be seen from the actors, characteristics, social relations, action and reaction, property, and criticality. AbstrakFilm kartun anak merupakan sajian pertelevisian yang menjadi alternatif tontonan bagi anak. Sajian audiovisual ini banyak mengandung nilai edukasi. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keragaman kultur yang terdapat dalam film kartun anak “Adit & Sopo Jarwo dalam perspektif analisis multimoda. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis film kartun ini adalah metode kualitatif, yaitu analisis konten.  Model analisis konten yang digunakan adalah model analisis multimoda yang dikemukakan oleh Teo van Leeuwen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimoda yang terdapat dalam film ASJ dapat ditinjau dari pelaku, karakterisasi, hubungan sosial, aksi reaksi, properti, dan kekritisan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe or know and explain the aesthetic value contained in classical Bugis and Makassar songs. This research is qualitative. The data sources of this research are Bugis songs and classical Makassar songs. The research instrument consisted of a gadget or mobile phone, a youtube application, and writing instruments in the form of books and pens. The research method used is a type of qualitative research, which is a research procedure that uses data or descriptive methods in the form of written or spoken words that can be observed. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation studies, where documents in the form of audio and audio-visual will be transcribed into a written form which will then be analyzed for the aesthetic meaning contained therein. The result showed that classical Bugis and Makassar songs have aesthetic values in the form of 1) the value of sacrifice, 2) the value of love/affection, 3) the value of morals/life, and 4) the value of culture. The value of sacrifice contained in Bugis and Makassar songs is a sacrifice made or given to people who are loved sincerely, then for the value of love/affection contained in Bugis and Makassar songs in the form of stories about problems of love or the beauty of that love itself, then for the moral/life values contained in the Bugis and Makassar songs, it gives a message about good behavior or ethics in living life, and for cultural values, it provides lessons about the importance of working together and maintaining tolerance among others.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of persuasive language in eroding insecurity for youth in Palu City. From the perspective of adolescent psycholinguistics who experience insecurity teenagers who have high ideals and want a successful future. This research aims to; 1) describe the types of educational persuasive language in eroding insecure for adolescents in the city of Palu, 2) describe the causal factor of insecure wrong education for youth in Palu city, and 3) describe the results of implementing persuasive language in eroding insecure for youth in Palu city. This research is presented in a qualitative form. The instrument used in collecting data in this paper is a mobile phone recorder. The type of data in this paper is written data and the source of the data is obtained from oral and written utterances from researchers toward experienced adolescents insecure in the city of Palu. Data collection techniques are carried out through stages; 1) observation, 2) interview, and 3) documentation. Technical data analysis was carried out through the following stages: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data classification, and 4) conclusion. The results of the study show that 1) types of persuasive language in education erode insecurity in adolescents in the city of Palu including (1) persuasive education to invite/persuade, (2) persuasive education to urge/order, and (3) persuasive education to influence. 2) causal factors insecure for adolescents in the city of Palu, namely (1) educating by pampering, (2) educating with violence, and 3) the results of implementing persuasive language in eroding insecure in adolescents in the city of Palu it was declared successful from the 20 youths who were sampled. Implementation of the use of persuasive language in eroding insecurity in adolescents in the city of Palu was declared successful because the 20 youths who were sampled it was stated that they were able to revive their self-confidence by showing self-confidence in the form of work. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji implementasi bahasa persuasif dalam mengikis insecure bagi remaja di kota Palu. Dari perspektif psikolinguistik remaja yang mengalami insecure pada dasarnya remaja yang memiliki cita-cita yang tinggi dan menginginkan masa depan yang sukses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) mendeskripsikan jenis bahasa persuasif pendidikan dalam mengikis insecure bagi remaja di kota Palu, 2) mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor penyebab insecure pendidikan yang salah bagi remaja di kota Palu, dan 3) mendeskripsikan hasil implementasi bahasa persuasif dalam mengikis insecure bagi remaja di kota Palu. Penelitian ini disajikan dalam bentuk kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam menggumpulkan data pada makalah ini adalah alat rekam telpon genggam. Jenis data pada makalah ini adalah data tertulis dan sumber data diperoleh dari tuturan lisan dan tulisan dari peneliti terhadap remaja yang mengalami insecure di kota Palu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tahapan; 1) obesrvasi, 2) wawancara, dan 3) dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan :1) pengumpulan data, 2) reduksi data, 3) klasifikasi data, dan 4) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) jenis bahasa persuasif pendidikan dalam mengikis insecure pada remaja di kota Palu meliputi (1) persuasif pendidikan mengajak/membujuk, (2) persuasif pendidikan menghimbau/memerintah, dan (3) persuasif pendidikan memengaruhi. 2) faktor-faktor penyebab insecure bagi remaja di kota Palu, yakni (1) mendidik dengan memanjakan, dan (2) mendidik dengan kekerasan, dan 3) hasil implementasi bahasa persuasif dalam mengikis insecure pada remaja di kota Palu dinyatakan berhasil dari 20 orang remaja yang dijadikan sampel. Impelementasi pemanfaatan bahasa persuasif dalam mengikis insecure kepada remaja di kota Palu dinyatakan berhasil karena dari 20 orang remaja yang dijadikan sampel dinyatakan dapat memunculkan kembali rasa percaya dirinya dengan menunjukkan rasa percaya diri dalam bentuk karya.
