Abstract

Ethnopedagogy is simply culture-based learning, both used as a source of learning and as a learning medium. One culture that has high educational value is the Haul Mbah Supondriyo tradition, an annual commemoration event to honor local figures who are respected for their services in establishing Sepande Village. The purpose of this study is to explore more deeply how the Haul Mbah Supondriyo tradition can be integrated as a learning resource for elementary school students in accordance with the independent curriculum. The research method uses qualitative research with ethnographic methods. The data collection techniques used are participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. There are four informants who are the sources of this study including village government figures, cultural figures, community leaders who are their descendants, and youth figures. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the Haul Mbah Supondriyo tradition is a hereditary tradition of the residents of Sepande Village which has a meaning as a form of gratitude, gratitude to the founding figure, and praying to God Almighty so that Sepande Village is always safe, peaceful, and free from negative things. In addition, Haul Mbah Supondriyo contains materials related to cultural diversity contained in several contents such as Social Studies, Pancasila Education and Indonesian. The findings of the material are then integrated with learning that can be applied in elementary schools, especially phase C based on learning achievements and learning objectives. The material is developed in the form of digital and non-digital teaching materials.

Abstract

Learning media is an important component in the teaching and learning process. This media functions as a learning resource that contains learning material and is able to stimulate students’ interest and motivation to learn. So that learning media has a very important role in creating a meaningful learning process and supporting the achievement of educational goals. This study aims to develop and validate wallchart media as a mathematics learning aid in elementary school. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This media is designed to help students understand mathematics concepts in a more visual, interactive, and fun way. Based on the results of the trial research, it shows that the wallchart teaching media fulfils the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. Wallchart can be a learning media that supports students’ learning process optimally.

Abstract

Developing interactive Indonesian language books that suit the needs of grade IV elementary school students using the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results of the study produced an interactive book equipped with various interactive features. This interactive book has been validated by teachers and tested on grade IV students. The results of the trial showed that the interactive book developed was effective in increasing students' learning motivation towards the use of interactive books in learning Indonesian. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that most students had a positive perception of the use of interactive books.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital-based LiBeRu teaching materials with features such as material E-modules which include encouraging quotes and learning video references and are then equipped with a choice of independent quizzes or quizzes with friends. This type of research is R&D with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The test subjects in this research were class VI students at SD YPI DARUSSALAM Cerme Gresik. Data collection techniques in this research include validation sheets to determine the level of validity, questionnaire response sheets to determine the level of practicability of use to measure the effectiveness of products developed in learning. Data analysis techniques include qualitative data and quantitative data.

Abstract

The community service program that we carried out aims to train the creativity of elementary school educators in the Babat Lamongan elementary and secondary education environment through the creation of interactive media. The methods used are the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. Based on the results of the activity, it shows that all educators can follow and create interactive media based on the project-based learning model in community service activities with full creativity and enthusiasm. Interactive media based on project-based learning can be one of the media for educators to tell and explain their ideas in the learning process in elementary schools according to child development. Through this interactive media, students can develop writing and speaking skills through interactive media. The success and creativity of educators in the Babat Lamongan elementary and secondary education environment in creating unique and interactive interactive media as a whole, this activity can be a valuable media to support the writing and speaking skills of students at the elementary school level to the maximum.

Abstract

Perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini khususnya rasa percaya diri, merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri adalah melalui permainan tradisional yang dimodifikasi, seperti permainan Sunda Manda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas permainan tradisional Sunda Manda modifikasi dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, di mana peneliti hadir langsung untuk mengamai dan mendokumentasikan perilaku anak selama kegiatan bermain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum permainan diberikan, tingkat kepercayaan diri anak masih rendah, ditandai dengan perilaku pasif, enggan tampil, dan takut mencoba tantangan. Setelah mengikuti permainan Sunda Manda modifikasi, terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada indikator keberanian mencoba, kemampuan mengambil giliran, ekspresi saat bermain, dan kesediaan tampil di depan teman. Anak menjadi lebih antusias, percaya diri, dan mampu mengekspresikan diri secara positif. Kesimpulannya, permainan tradisional Sunda Manda modifikasi efektif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari kurangnya kemampuan anak usia dini dalam menyelesaikan masalah, yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tidak bervariasi dan kurang memberikan kesempatan untuk eksplorasi secara maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif media loose parts dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini melalui proyek sains. Metodologi yang dipakai adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest untuk anak berusia 5–6 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terstruktur, lembar penilaian keterampilan pemecahan masalah, dan dokumentasi dari kegiatan proyek sains yang mengacu pada loose parts. Temuan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media loose parts dalam proyek sains dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak, terutama dalam hal mengidentifikasi masalah, merancang solusi sederhana, mencoba berbagai opsi, serta menarik kesimpulan dari hasil percobaan. Anak-anak terlihat lebih aktif, kreatif, dan mampu berkolaborasi selama proses belajar. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa media loose parts efektif sebagai alat pembelajaran yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada anak-anak usia dini melalui pendekatan proyek sains.

Abstract

This study aims to identify evidence-based differentiated instruction (DI) strategies that enhance reading comprehension in elementary education. The research employed a systematic literature review following the PRISMA guidelines. A total of 16 empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025 were retrieved from the Scopus database based on their relevance and methodological rigor. The data were analyzed using qualitative thematic analysis and cross-study comparison to identify effective strategies and patterns of implementation. The findings indicate that differentiated instruction consistently improves reading comprehension outcomes, with reported gains ranging from 10% to 44%. Effective strategies include tiered instruction, flexible grouping, content–process–product differentiation, and technology-supported approaches. Instructional models such as identification–reflection–improvement cycles and Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) demonstrated particularly strong effectiveness. Successful implementation was associated with continuous assessment practices, teacher preparedness, and access to differentiated instructional resources. In conclusion, this review confirms that differentiated instruction provides an effective framework for addressing diverse learner needs and improving reading comprehension outcomes in elementary classrooms.
