Abstract

Early childhood education plays an important role in the formation of children's personality and development. This study aims to identify the application of transformational leadership in Early Childhood Education institutions to welcome 21st century education. The important key in creating an innovative, adaptive and creative learning environment lies in the transformational leadership style so as to increase children's potential to the fullest. The method used in this research is a literature review, by analyzing various relevant literature sources to assess the impact and importance of transformational leadership in the world of early childhood education. Transformational leadership has enormous potential, so the results of this study can help realize a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also socially and emotionally developed, in accordance with the demands of an ever-evolving world.

Abstract

This study aims to describe matters related to motivation, innovative teacher behavior, community support in schools, as well as obstacles and strategies to support teachers in innovating that are running at Abirau Elementary School, Banjar Regency. The techniques used in this study are using indirect interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies. The subjects of this study were the Principal of Abirau Elementary School. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the study indicate that motivation, innovative teacher behavior, and community support in Kombel Basamaan can be started by joining Kombel Basamaan which is the willingness of all parties in the school to improve skills and knowledge to have the opportunity to learn from fellow teachers who may have different experiences or approaches in teaching. This Kombel activity aims to create a more inclusive and effective learning environment innovation which is expected to be able to produce learning innovations and build strong collaboration between teachers. One of the strengthening strategies in Kombel in dealing with educational problems is the leadership role of the principal which is needed as well as being an active facilitator in the innovation process, providing encouragement and recognition for teacher efforts, so that teachers do not feel burdened and continue to feel accompanied.

Abstract

This Research aims to identify the role of of leadership in addressing and bridging differences of opinion between teachers and parents regarding the educational methods used. The goal is to create a harmonious collaboration to optimize children's development. The research method employed is library research, by collecting and analyzing various relevant literature sources to understand effective leadership strategies in building collaboration between families and schools. The findings indicate that effective leadership in early childhood education (ECE) settings must be able to accommodate diverse perspectives through open communication, collaborative activities, and the development of trust between schools and parents.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a very important foundation or starting point for building physical, mental, and social development in children so that they have the preparation that can help them later when they grow up. Therefore, an educational institution must have a leader or principal who can provide motivation and good and adequate facilities for the teachers and students. A quality leader is also very important so that students not only gain knowledge and science, but they can also form their own character with moral values as preparation when they grow up. We examine a variety of publications in this essay using a qualitative approach. We obtained knowledge from several sources, including publications connected to our topic and academic magazines. The results of this study illustrate that the presence of quality leadership in an educational institution, particularly in early childhood education (ECE), can optimize and develop the potential of teachers, making them more improved and creative, and can also shape the character of the students.

Abstract

The quality of early childhood education is strongly influenced by the leadership role of teachers in the classroom. Teachers not only act as educators but also as leaders who shape a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. This study uses a library research approach to examine literature related to classroom leadership, character development in early childhood, and strategies to build a supportive learning atmosphere. Findings highlight the importance of small actions by teachers—such as fostering positive discipline, showing appreciation, providing emotional safety, and involving children in classroom decisions—which significantly contribute to children’s academic and emotional growth. Role-playing methods are also effective in instilling leadership values from an early age. Thus, leadership starts in the classroom, becoming a crucial step in preparing strong and character-driven future generations

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi permasalahan mengenai rendahnya aktivitas, berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan penerapan model PBL, STAD dan TGT dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, menganalisis aktivitas siswa, menganalisis keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dilaksanakan dalam 3 kali pertemuan di kelas V SDN Sungai Gampa Asahi Rantau Badauh dengan jumlah 20 siswa, terdiri dari 10 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan pada semester 2 tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan, terbukti dengan skor 30 yang memiliki nilai kriteria sangat baik. Aktivitas siswa dengan kriteria sangat aktif mencapai 100%. Kemampuan berpikir kritis meningkat hingga 96%. Serta, dengan kriteria tercapai, hasil belajar siswa meningkat hingga 100%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL, STAD dan TGT dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif memilih dan menggunakan model pembelajaran khususnya muatan IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada minimnya kerja sama dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di SDN 025 Tanah Grogot Kabupaten Paser. Fenomena tersebut diindikasikan oleh instruksi edukasional yang bersifat unidireksional, kurang substantif, dan berpusat pada individualitas. Konsekuensinya, selama proses edukasional, peserta didik menampilkan partisipasi minimal, kesulitan menginterpretasi materi, serta terbatas dalam interaksi kolaboratif. Pendekatan inovatif untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut melibatkan implementasi model Problem Based Learning, Two Stay Two Stray & Talking Stick. Fokus fundamental penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi dinamika kerja sama siswa dalam konteks pedagogis. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua ragam pendekatan yakni kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan tipe Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Entitas penelitian merupakan siswa kelas V SDN 025 Tanah Grogot Kabupaten Paser, dengan jumlah 15 individu. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan peningkatan kerja sama pada setiap sesi hingga mencapai proporsi 86,67% dengan kategori "hampir seluruh siswa bekerja sama". Berdasarkan derivasi empiris tersebut dapat dirumuskan bahwa melalui model Problem Based Learning, Two Stay Two Stray & Talking Stick mampu meningkatkan aktivitas, kerja sama dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini rendahnya motivasi, aktivitas dan hasil perkembangan kognitif anak dalam mencocokkan bilangan dengan lambang bilangan. Sebagai solusi, digunkan model Pelikan yang terinspirasi dari cara burung pelikan mengajarkan anaknya terbang secara bertahap. Model ini mengajak anak belajar secara bertahap dengan bimbingan guru, melalui pemecahan masalah nyata, penjelasan yang jelas, serta bantuan media gambar yang menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru serta menganalisis motivasi, aktivitas anak, dan hasil perkembangan kognitif anak mencocokkan biangan dengan lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 4 pertemuan, Subjek penelitian adalah 15 anak kelompok B1 di TK Adhyaksa XIV Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi aktivitas guru, motivasi belajar, aktivitas anak dan perkembangan kognitif anak. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan bantuan tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pertemuan 4 aktivitas guru telah mencapai kategori “Sangat Baik”, motivasi belajar anak secara klasikal mencapai kategori “Seluruh Anak Termotivasi”, aktivitas anak secara klasikal mencapai kategori “Seluruh Anak Aktif”, dan perkembangan kognitif anak secara klasikal mencapai kategori BSB dan BSH. Model Pelikan disarankan sebagai referensi penggunaan model pembelajaran yang efektif di PAUD.

Abstract

This investigation examines the use of the LEMPER learning model in improving the activity, problem solving and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Islam Siti Khadijah Banjarmasin. The LEMPER model combines problem-based learning, question-based stimulation and team game tournaments. Classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in this study for two learning cycles. The study population consisted of 23 fourth grade learners from Siti Khadijah Islamic Primary School in Banjarmasin. The results of this research found that teacher activity was ‘Very Good’ and learner activity increased rapidly to 87%. In addition, students' problem-solving skills also improved significantly, reaching 100%. Students obtained better learning outcomes overall in the affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects, increasing classically by 100%, 91%, and 100%.
